I really love the combination of green hills, mountains and thick fog. It's something that makes me happy.

And until the night 🤍 Always in snowy winters I especially loved the sky, how bright it is at night… how the snow flickers pink in the light of street lamps and how quiet and calm it becomes 🌨️

What inspires you? Do you have life goals?
thank you for such an interesting question! As someone who has struggled with depression for a long time, I have found a way to find peace and inspiration in the world around me. It sounds very cliché, but walking in nature and especially exploring new roads instead of the usual routes helps a lot. I love watching nature. I am also very inspired by people who are passionate about what they do. Artists, creators, all kinds of creative people - when I see that people have found themselves in something and their hearts are on fire, it gives me hope that I too can someday find something I like very much. I would really like to find something I love, uhh!
Therefore, my goals… hmm… find comfort in life and be happy in harmony with myself. 🏠🌲🤍

Speaking about our コハク, I didn’t mention that his paw pads sweat when he’s nervous!.. This fact always makes both my friends and our doctor laugh. Actually, every trip to the doctor is always micro-stress for Koha-chan, so he turns from soft bun into very hard, stale bread, meows pitifully all the way and diligently sweats with his paws so much that traces of his wet paws remain on the doctor’s table. To be honest, before the cat family came into my life, I didn’t even know that cats’ pads could sweat. For some reason he also smells like an old toy. Well, such a retro cat, I don’t know how it happened... Perhaps he was an old toy in a past life? Our second cat doesn’t have such special effects - her nose just turns red if she gets too excited, and she also likes to bury herself in my clothes and smell my perfume. Very gentle madam.

Well… cats. Cats big and small. Cats that bring good luck. Cats that live in Gotokuji Temple. According to legend, in the early 17th century, a feudal lord caught in a severe thunderstorm was brought to the safety of the temple by a cat living there. She raised her paw up and the lord interpreted this as an inviting gesture. Grateful to the cat, he made generous donations to the temple, and even designated the cemetery near the temple as a cemetery for his family. The temple was later renamed Gotokuji after the Buddhist name of this lord, and a cat with a raised paw came to be considered a symbol of good luck. Since then, believers have brought figurines of Maneki-neko cats to this place. The moment you step through the elaborate wooden gates of the temple, a sense of serenity envelops you. The air is filled with the delicate aroma of incense, and the gentle rustling of leaves accompanies your every step.

Looking through old photographs and remembering that there are bunnies on the moon... Yes, bunnies, who poundes rice in a mortar and prepares dango rice balls (according to another version, the mortar contains the powder of immortality, which crumbles onto the Earth on the night of the full moon). If you look closely at the moon, you can try to see the figure of a bunny in the spots on the moon. Or you can go to the temple and meet the bunnies there - surrounded by flowers and the rays of the setting sun. 🐇🌙

As if spring is already here… despite the cold wind, despite my cold hands. A plum tree blossomed in a nearby park.

His name is コハク (Kohaku) which means "amber". But in reality he is just a toasted bun - heavy, full of warmth and coziness. Cozy-cozy Koha-chan.

Old photographs are a ticket to the memory train. Unlimited ticket… I remember that day and that pink sky, like cotton candy with a delicate crescent moon as decoration. It was a way back along the beach, on the way back I stopped at a cafe to eat for the whole day of my short trip to Kamakura. The cafe had a beautiful view of the sea, but it got dark quickly and I ended up sitting, peering into complete darkness. Just the sound of the waves, coffee, and my thoughts about the people with whom I will no longer sit in that cafe. A lot of time has passed and at the same time very little. Only the moon, the beauty of this sky and the sound of the waves remained unchanged. But that's life, right? And then I returned on a half-empty train.

To be honest, my room is becoming more and more like a small greenhouse… I am a hunter of water droplets. I love this round shape of water that flows down the large leaves of my green friends.

Wax plum robai (chimonanthus) 💛 For me, the beauty of this fragile tree became a discovery last year, when I first saw it bloom. This year it bloomed earlier than usual. Wax plum is the most fragrant and tender. Yellow petals against the backdrop of blue summer, like harbingers of spring, warm you from the inside - and this despite the fact that we have had a cold hurricane wind in recent days… Plum blossoms very unevenly - somewhere there are only buds that will open by February, and somewhere in warmer regions they are already blooming vigorously, opening and falling from strong gusts of wind. Magnolia trees are also quietly preparing for their awakening. Time flies and soon the cities will be covered with white and pink lace clouds of sakura, but for now we are slowly observing the beauty of the small things of everyday life…
