Hi! I was wondering if you could write something for fallen skied?
Ben sees Matt call Anne mom. Ben's got mixed feelings about that because his grief for his mom is still raw but at the same time he likes Anne and wants to welcome her & the new baby into the family. Maybe Anne tells Ben he doesn't have to call her mom, just "Anne" is fine?
Totally up to you - I know this request is super specific so feel free to change stuff around or just use one or two of the ideas there. Thank you so much!
This request is so incredibly wholesome, thank you so much for sending it in! I really hope this scratches your itchđŸ«¶ (Extra special thank you for this request being for falling skies)🌌

TW: grief, family
— -
The Mason family had just eaten dinner. It took them a long time to come to terms with being a family of four, without a matriarch. Then all of a sudden there was Anne. While considering her part of the family came naturally to Tom, it took more time for the boys. Hal was older and occasionally wiser, he seemed to take it the easiest. Or at least he had the best front.
“Come on Ben, let’s wash up.” Hal nudged his younger brother, noticing he was no longer listening to the dinner conversation.
They walked away from the rest of the family, picking up everyone’s plates. As soon as the taps were on and he knew no one would hear, Hal spoke up.
“You could at least try and look happy for dad.”
Ben sighed.
“I am happy for him.” He tried to keep focusing on scrubbing the plates.
“Yeah, you sound it.” Hal laughed sarcastically. “Why don’t you like her?” He pushed. Ben just shook his head and continued scrubbing. Hal put down the plate he was washing and turned to look his brother in the eye.
“Dad deserves to happy. Anne’s looked after us, she’s been a good friend. Now she’s giving us another brother or sister, she’s family. You gotta find a way to deal with it.” Ben’s eyes watered, he hadn’t even realised he’d stopped scrubbing yet. “Just look how happy Matt is. He needs this.” Ben turned his back to the sink and watched Matt smiling with his Dad and Anne. He watched as Matt shyly called her Mom, probably for the first time.
Ben couldn’t think. Everything stopped. It felt like the walls were closing in on him. The plate he was absentmindedly holding on to, fell from his hands and broke his trance. Everyone turned to face him. It was like a nightmare. Matt and Anne looked guilty. Hal was clearly disappointed and his Dad
Ben couldn’t bring himself look at him. Instead he ran out of the room. Hal made a move to go after him, but Anne’s chair scraping caught his attention.
“I’ll go.” She said, before heading to Ben’s room. He was stood with his back to her facing the window, hands holding the windowsill for support. When she heard him sniffle, she wanted to go and wrap him in her arms but held back, knowing that would make the situation worse.
“I’m sorry.” He said without turning around. “I shouldn’t have reacted like that.” He peeked over his shoulder a little as Anne tutted and walked closer.
“You have nothing to apologise for. I understand how hard this must be for you.” She paused for a moment to find the right words. “You boys already have a wonderful Mom, and I don’t want to replace her. I love your Dad and I am so excited to have this baby with him. Not only because of my love for him, but because of how lucky this child will be to have you, Matt and Hal as their brothers.” A smile twitched on Bens face for a split second, so fast that Anne almost missed it. “You don’t ever have to call me Mom if it doesn’t feel right. But I hope you will call me family one day.” As Anne finished speaking, Ben finally turned around, his heart warmed by her words.
“Thank you Anne.” He pulled her into a hug. Their first ever. He felt awkward at first but when she wrapped his arms around him everything faded away. “You are family.” He admitted to her..and himself.
“Do you think everyone’s mad?” Ben asked. A reassuring smile fell upon Anne’s face.
“Only that you didn’t finish the dishes.” She teased before beckoning him back to the kitchen. As they walked back in, Matt looked up at him eyes wide as their Dad rubbed his arm comfortingly.
“Sorry if I upset you.” Matt chewed his nails nervously.
“Nah.” Ben smiled down at his little brother. “I’m sorry. I’m okay if you want to call Anne Mom, it just surprised me that’s all.” Matts eyes lit up.
“Are you sure?” The younger boy asked, receiving a nod in return. A huge smile broke out on Matt’s face as he flung himself into his brother.
Hal was right. It was cute to see Matt so happy. Maybe one day Ben would be able to call her Mom too.

flower language has always been an intense source of disappointment for me
like, they all mean really generic things like “love” or “forever” or “i’m sorry”
i thought you could combine flowers
like you could just send someone a bouquet and from the combination of hibiscus and posies and tulips they’d understand “the rebel leader is dead, rendezvous at the docks at 8, bring the dog, you will need lighter fluid and  a large tomato”

WHAT did the woman say to get people to run away.
WHY was the theme song not played.
WHY does the actress for the woman not exist.
WHERE did The Doctor go. (Barbieland /j)
Also when they have the zoom out of Ruby sitting outside the door through what I assume is supposed to be a skylight (?) Does anyone else think that it looked like a TV screen..??

Hellooo, request might come off as weird, but I've been thinking about it. For a few days
Could you write a small fix about collei going on an adventure with the 10 doctor while trying to escape dottore?
Okay so this was an awesome request, thank you so much! Never noticed the similarities between El Dottore and The Doctor until now
..I will apologise since they weren’t exactly escaping Dottore in this. *I got a little carried away in the rest of it tbh* I hope it still hits the spot for you though ✹✹
WONDER 🍃
Doctor Who x Genshin Impact crossover
Featuring the 10th Doctor and Collei
TW : MUCH cannon divergence, mentions of injury, captivity, mentioned medical abuse
——-
The TARDIS warped disjointedly as it spun through spacetime. It’s usual musical sound was a comfort to the Doctor, but this one was new. All these centuries and he had never heard it cry in such a manner. It terrified him. He was frantically pulling levers and smashing buttons, anything to escape the pull of this monstrous vortex. His efforts were all in vain. For once, his knowledge and experience wasn’t going to get him out of this one. All he could do was watch on his scanner as the TARDIS entered the eye of the vortex and all the systems shut down.
——-
Collei stared at the damp ceiling, trying to ignore the shivers racking her body. The chains around her wrists were irritating the wounds from the doctors scraping the eleazar scales from her skin. She didn’t understand why they had to run those awful tests every day, but she was thankful there had at least been no experiments performed on her in a while. A whirring sound followed by a thud from the basement below suddenly caught her attention. Perhaps she had given thanks too soon and this was another experiment in the making. Footsteps became clearer, entering the corridor outside her room. She sat up, wincing as the chains weight shifted.
The Doctor landed with a thud, the TARDIS systems slowly returning to life one by one. The second his screen came back on, he pulled it down closer to his face and studied his location. This vortex could have sent him anywhere, from before time itself right until the end of everything.
“That can’t be right..” He muttered to himself. “That’s not possible.” He spun on his heels and ran towards the TARDIS doors. He popped his head out first, making sure it was safe. Then slowly he stepped out, taking in the wet brick walls, corroding the seemingly random pieces of machinery they held. He lifted his screwdriver, scanning to confirm his theory. Gasping, he dropped his arm. His face, for the first time in hundreds of years, held a look of pure wonder. One all his companions had worn upon viewing their first new planet. While he had been to parallel universes, he had never found an entirely new one with different planets and star systems.
“I’m in another universe!” His hands pulled at his face while he grinned like a child. Laughing, he made a break for the stairs. Once in what seemed to be a main corridor, he burst into the first door he saw. There wouldn’t be long until the vortex started to close and he was all too aware of that and even more unwilling to waste a single second in his Teyvat adventure.
Collei jerked back in her bed, as her door flew open. Her wide eyes shook as she took in the odd appearance of the man in front of her. Spiky black hair and a blue striped suit
.certainly not a fatui. So what could he be doing in her room?
“Hello! I’m the Doctor.” His smile faded as his eyes fell on the chains around the frail girls wrists.
“The Doctor?! You’ll get yourself killed running around saying that!” Collei warned the obviously unwell man. She held her breath as he stepped closer to her, his brows furrowed. He kept coming until he knelt at the side of her bed.
“What’s your name?” He asked, staring thoughtfully into the scared child’s green eyes. She hadn’t been granted the respect of eye contact in such a long time.
“My name is Collei.” His smile returned as she spoke.
“Well, that’s a lovely name.” Despite his exaggerated manner, she couldn’t bring herself to doubt his honesty.
“Right! How about I get you out of here and you can tell me what’s so wrong with my name?” He didn’t wait for Collei’s reply before he pointed his sonic screwdriver at the chain locks. Her green hair fell into her face as she tilted her head in curiosity at the buzzing sound emanating from the glowing stick. The Doctor chuckled at the young girls shock when the chains from her body.
“Are you ready for an adventure?” He held his hand out, already knowing the answer by the spark in her eye.
——-
The new duo sat in the TARDIS as the Doctor looked around on the map for possible starting points.
“Mondstadt.” Collei near whispered, facing the grated floor. “I’ve always wanted to go to Mondstadt.” She spoke a little stronger and the Doctor flashed her a cheeky grin.
“Mondstadt it is!” He dramatically pulled down a lever and watched as Collei stared at the flashing lights and moving machinery of the engine, releasing her first true smile in years.
“I can’t believe you aren’t surprised that it’s bigger on the inside.” He kind of missed the running joke.
“We have lots of domains that are bigger on the inside in Teyvat!” Collei explained. “Though none that move quite as far as this one.”
They landed in a large grassy area. Both instantly enamoured by the dandelion seeds in the wind and sweeping hills, they made their way toward the city on foot.
“So, what exactly is the problem with my name?” The Doctor asked.
“The Doctor or Dottore is a bad man. He works for a big scary company who do harm everywhere they go!” Collei fearfully shouted before taking a breath. “He is an unstoppable genius, who does experiments on people and even himself. He did one that created different clones of himself at different phases in life. It multiplied his own brain power and now he runs experiments all over Teyvat at the same time!” Now with the full picture, The Doctor could finally understand.
“This man
.. I think is the me in this universe.” He pondered.
“This universe??” Collei was getting confused now.
“Oh yes, of course! I’m an alien from another universe also called the Doctor; who also, sort of, has multiple versions of himself.” He didn’t expect the young girl walking at his side to believe him, but she seemed not to question him.
“Are you a genius like him?” She wondered. The Doctor made an awkward sound.
“Ah well, I suppose some people might say that
sometimes.” He babbled. “But I am nothing like him.”
Finally, they had arrived in the city. Collei ignored the Doctor mumbling something about ‘Germenie?’ and took a million mental images of the street in front of her. Peach cobblestones, surrounded by bustling buildings with bold bunting strings bringing bright colours to her eyes, all crested by a giant statue of the anemo god of freedom. The tiredness that dragged her down was worth it for the sights she had dreamed of for as long as she could remember.
“Are you alright there Collei?” The Doctor was concerned with her paling face, but trusted her when she said she was fine. They continued on, making their way up the stairs towards the big statue when the sonic screwdriver beeped.
“The vortex has started to fluctuate.” He solemnly stated. “I’ll have to go back to the TARDIS after we see the statue, or I won’t make it back to my universe.” Collei focused her eyes to the top of the stairs, not wanting him to see her sadness. She understood, but there was still a pang in her heart.
“Look! We’re here.” She changed the subject, grateful for the stairs ending. The statue seemed even more vast when stood at its feet and Collei couldn’t help but giggle at the little children weaving in and out of the archways surrounding the area. As she moved her head to follow their path, she noticed everything had begun to move too. Faster and faster, her vision spun until it went white and she fell to the ground.
——-
Awaking in a small bed once more Collei shot upright, hands going straight to her wrists. Her relief that her adventure wasn’t a dream didn’t last long as she realised that she had probably been unconscious too long for the Doctor to have waited. They hadn’t even gotten to see Springvale or Stormterror’s Lair, never mind the rest of Teyvat. She shook her head to put her selfish worries aside and tried to be happy that her friend made it home. Deciding to look for any sign as to where she could be instead. Not a moment later, the door opened to reveal a young girl with two cute ponytails, who seemed to be a deaconess.
“Oh good! You’re awake!” She gently smiled before her face dropped into a panic. “Wait there! Don’t move!” The church deaconess called over her shoulder as she ran away, leaving Collei bewildered.
Within moments the door opened once more.
“DOCTOR!” Collei jumped out of the bed and threw her arms around him. “I thought you had left.” She admitted.
“We definitely cut it close.” He sighed. “I’m sorry. I have to go now.” He pulled away and sat her back on the bed. “Deaconess Barbara has helped me organise some care for you. A man named Tighnari will be coming to collect you soon, and don’t worry I checked him out myself. He’s a good honest man with medical expertise.” Collei relaxed at the idea a little after hearing the Doctor had been to see Tighnari.
“Cant I come with you?” She was afraid to be alone again.
“No. You would never be able to come back to your universe. I can’t have you be the last of your people too.” A dark look washed over him, showing the raw truth behind his words.
“I’m going to miss you.” She looked down at her feet dangling from the bed.
“Chin up Collei. You are going to be brilliant. Your adventure is just beginning.” He was satisfied leaving when the young girl in front of him lifted her head and gave him a strong, tearful nod. A ghost of a smile remained on her face as she watched him leave. But instead of being sad, she did what she thought the Doctor would tell her to do. She wondered what kinds of adventures would follow after Tighnari came to collect her.

Genshin Character SummariesđŸ˜”â€đŸ’«
How I would describe some Genshin characters to someone who hasn’t played ✹
——-
Wanderer - He’s like that black alley cat that answers to any name if it means attention, but will bite your finger off and tear open your bins.
Beidou - Flirty pirate with a mild alcohol problem.
Bennett - He’s like a cute little puppy. Bounces around in excitement when you give him attention then proceeds to run into a wall.
Zhongli - Looks hot but then he talks and it’s a grandpa with a dash of history teacher
.yet for some reason you don’t mind itđŸ€Ł
Ayaka - She has wet socks.
Diona - She is the cat who pushes over your drink while maintaining direct eye contact with you.

Smoke and Rain đŸŒ§ïž
Helping Ayato relax with a day in the wild. Inspired by his weather voicelineđŸŒŠïž
TW- OOC Ayato? He’s a little bit posh prince-ish😬
——-
You barely felt the chill in the air as you wandered, hand in hand, through the forest with Ayato.
“Let’s go back, the conditions are worsening.” He grimaced at the darkening sky. “We can have my people bring us soup in my office. We could eat by the fire.” He finished, already missing his home comforts. You chuckled fondly at his distaste for the wilderness.
“Don’t be silly, it’s just a bit of wind! We can make our own fire here.” You crouched down to gather some loose branches, smiling when you saw him do the same.
You sat by the fire until the sun had almost set. You talked about his recent issues in work and your own stresses about the business you run. Your head rested on his shoulder as you watched the last ray of sun disappear in a golden flash, as if the universe was taking a picture of you. A cold pinprick on your cheek broke your dreamlike state. As you lifted your head to look above, the heavens opened and released a downpour.
“Let's take shelter for the time being. Don't worry, one of my people will be here with umbrellas momentarily.” He immediately jumped up, frantically looking around for somewhere to hide from the rain.
“I have a better idea.” You grabbed his hand to stop him moving around. “Let’s dance.” You smirked as you twirled yourself under his arm. He looked at you dumbfounded.
“Dance? In the rain?” He raised his brows and pursed his lips.
“You’re already soaked through, you might aswell!” Your grin, reminding him of childhood joy as you swayed in the rain, warmed up his heart. His serious expression began to soften as he started to sway in time with you.
“Why not?” He laughed, finally relaxing into you. He moved his hands to your waist and begun leading you in a traditional Inazuman slow dance. You danced by the fire until the last ember fizzled away into the night and the smoke took your place, twirling in the trees.

In The Haze đŸŒȘ
A classic Bellamy Blake x Kane!reader acid fog story
.with a head cannon included as a twist ✹
TW- cannon divergence, mentions of assault/manipulation, gore?
——-
The silence of the hunting group made the trees seem louder, each gust of wind causing heads to whip around. Your feet no longer crunched on the forest floor like they had when you first arrived to the ground mere weeks ago. You looked to your ‘leader’, seriously doubting his decision to leave the safety of camp with all the current looming threats from the grounders. When you saw his determined expression, you couldn’t help but roll your eyes. He was the only one of the group who didn’t look afraid, and that made him a fool.
“Over there!” Sterling whisper-shouted, pointing to a deer in the distance. Bellamy nodded and as usual, took the lead and aimed his knife. You decided to take in the scenery instead of watching another of his power plays. That was when you saw it. A murder of at least one hundred crows, frantically fleeing across the sky. You didn’t want to know what they were so afraid of. Unfortunately, on the ground it’s not possible to close your eyes to the dangers.
“ACID FOGGG!!!” Munroe yelled. Your eyes widened as you watched the group run off in different directions. You didn’t know which way the nearest shelter was and found yourself spinning in circles. The fog moved closer, faster than you could think. Until a hand grabbed yours.
“Come on!” Bellamy’s gruff voice ushered you away from green cloud. The two of you ran, hand in hand, faster than you ever had before. The forest became a muddy green blur around you.
“There’s a cave by those rocks up there.” He called over his shoulder. You focused your eyes on the shining wet rocks, trying not to think of the encroaching fog. You felt a tug on your neck as you brushed past a tree, on instinct you looked back.
When you saw what had happened, you dropped your hand from Bellamy’s and started to run back. You would rather die in the fog than lose this necklace.
You ignored Bellamy’s calls and moved faster towards the fog, heart almost stopping when you saw it about to make contact your most precious possession. You desperately lunged your hand forward, praying that you’d reach it before the fog did. You could almost feel the chain when you were harshly pulled away. Your hope shattered as you watched the fog engulf your necklace. You still fought Bellamy’s grip for a moment, unable to accept it. You fought until the burning agony of reality seared itself into the arm still stretched out in lost hope.
Finally, you gave in and allowed Bellamy to drag you out of the fog that had begun to swallow you whole.
“What the hell was that?!” He spat as he pushed you into the cave. “You nearly got us both killed over a necklace!” He rubbed his temped as he spoke. “It’s metal! The fog isn’t gunna damage it.” He began to lecture.
“It’s not just a necklace!” You growled, jaw clenching in the pain of your burnt arm. “There was a lock of my mothers hair in there. The fog just turned the last piece of her to dust.” Your voice cracked. For the first time, you noticed Bellamy Blake looking at you as something other than one of the privileged. Running a hand through his curled hair, he sighed.
“I have water in my bag. Let me help you.” Gesturing to your now weeping arm.
Sweat rolled down your back as he peeled off the remnants of your sleeve. You watched his brows furrow in concern at every shudder and wince.
“Why are you helping me?” You asked weakly. “I thought you’d say I deserve this, since my dad floated your mom and all.” You stared at the dripping cave roof.
“I think I’m learning to accept that you can’t judge someone by the sins of their father.” He spoke sadly. You flicked your gaze back to him, watching him curiously. He took a deep breath before meeting your eyes.
“I found out something recently.” His breath hitched and his hands faltered as they worked on your arm. “Commander Shumway is my father.” He released a breath, one that felt as though it was the first since he found out. “She met him just after he became a cadet. He caught her stealing medicine for her father. Told her he would let her off, if she did him a ‘favour’. Nine months later, there I was. But he didn’t care. Instead he held everything against her and once Octavia was born
well he had the ultimate leverage then didn’t he? Then all these years later he tells me the truth, but for his own ends!” You barely felt him tip the water on your arm, as you were listening intently to his tale. “He tells me that he got Octavia into the dropship. He told me if I killed the chancellor, he could use the chaos to get me on the ship with her. I fell for it like a fool.” He wrapped your arm in some torn cloth as he continued. “As soon as I was on the ship, he ratted me out.” Bitterness etched upon his face. “So yeah, I can understand not wanting to make the same mistakes as your shitty father.” His mask returned in an instant with his signature smirk, as he dropped your now cleaned and wrapped arm.
“Thanks.” You gestured to your arm. “For the record, you might be an egotistical dick sometimes, but you’re good. You aren’t like him.” You sent Bellamy a small smile, which he returned while bringing his eyes to meet yours once more.
“You too Kane.” He spoke softly before leaning back against the cave wall and closing his eyes.
“We should rest until the fog clears. We still have to hunt.” His voice had retreated to its usual tone. As you leaned your head against the rocky cave wall you realised that somewhere in the haze, you and Bellamy Blake had seen each other for the first time. Even if just for a second.

A rivals desire đŸŒč
Non gender specific rival/lover✹
A little story inspired by the Wanderers ‘about us: rivals’ voiceline. In this story, reader is studying in Vahamuna with the Wanderer and is his only true academic rival. You and he are the only ones able to really challenge each others work. It will, of course, be set in Sumeru post it’s archon quest.
Mildly edited, apologies for mistakesđŸ«¶
——-
“So, you're still stewing over our run-ins from before? Huh. Well, what are you going to do about it? Take your time. I'm in no hurry.” The Wanderer scowled at you, referring to the time you helped thwart his plans to become a god.
“For the last time. No!” Your voice became faster and louder as you continued. “Unlike you, I can let things go!” You glared at him.
“If you aren’t out for revenge, then why would you rebuke my paper?!” He leaned closer as he waved your latest paper around. “Why else would you make a point of disputing every paper I submit?” His voice became quiet, full of venom with a touch of vulnerability.
“I rebuked your paper because it was short sighted. Same as all the others.” You told him. “Your takes on history and society are factually correct and full of potential, yes. But, you always fail to see the true story.” You say, slightly distracted by how close you stood to him. “You miss out the heart of everything by only focusing on the tangible parts. True insight comes from mixing the facts with the feelings that follow in their wake.” You explained, eyes flicking to the ground as you finished talking and realised how long you’d been maintaining eye contact.
When he didn’t reply, you returned his gaze again. He seemed to be lost in his mind, you could almost see the churning of waves behind his blue eyes.
“So you’re telling me, that to reach academic greatness I must tap into my emotions to find the heart of things?” He asked incredulously before scoffing. “You realise I don’t have a heart right?” He folded his arms and raised a brow as he spoke. His words made you chuckle.
“The heart just pumps blood around a body. The brain is where all thoughts and feelings lie
.surely you have one of those don’t you?” You smirked.
“Yes. Very funny.” He deadpanned. You rolled your eyes.
“Well, if we’re done here?” You gestured to the path you were on your way down before he interrupted your journey.
“Wait!” He grabbed your wrist as you began to turn away. “If you think you know so much, then show me. Show me how to achieve ‘true insight’.”
You deliberated his request for no where near long enough, given the task it would be to get this man to view society in a sympathetic way.
“Fine. Lesson one. Tell me one emotion you are familiar with feeling.” You looked expectantly, assuming he would give you an immediate answer. After mulling it over he opened his mouth..and then closed it again, before finally speaking.
“Desire.”
“Good! That’s good, you can tap into that. Think of something you want and go after it. Study that feeling. Then when you succeed, focus on how you feel when you get whatever it is you want and it will lead you to another emotion to study.“
“This is ridiculous. Talking about feelings to better writing, how warped.” He grumbled.
“You sound like Azar.” You shook your head at him, remembering the former grand sage.
“Don’t compare me to that old fool!” Offence tainted the Wanderer’s words. “I am nothing like that failure. I am better.” His breath fanned your face as he argued with you.
“Then stop acting like him and prove it! I wouldn’t ‘make a point’ of challenging you all the time if I didn’t believe you could be brilliant.” You exclaimed. His eyes darted around your face as he seemed to freeze. You watched him wade through his mind, slowly you could see his soul becoming clearer in the distance. You had lost yourself in his eyes and possibly would have stayed that way for eternity if he hadn’t grabbed your cheeks, shocking you back to reality. He almost looked as confused as you, before pressing his lips to yours.
Your eyes widened as the space between you closed, but when his fingers started stroking your cheek as he kissed you, you couldn’t help but melt. Your hands wrapped around the back of his neck and you let yourself fall into the kiss. You swore you could feel him smile right before he pulled away.
“Peace.” He spoke as he rested his forehead on yours. “The fruition of my desire leads to peace.”

Foreshadowing in the 100
I’m so sorry to anyone who reads this😬
I finally got to watch the last two seasons after them not being available in my country and after watching that I went back and watched season ones first episode again. I noticed some interesting foreshadowing that has led me to come to the unhinged conclusion that the writers knew where the show was going all along. I will explain belowđŸ˜”â€đŸ’«
So the first thing I saw as the episode started was Clarke’s drawing of a scorpion. Now stay with me on this one. In season 7 when Bellamy is on the mountain with Doucette, he eats a scorpion right before the scene where he prays and sees the shepherd. I personally believe that his vision was actually a scorpion venom induced hallucination, and the shepherd appearing was down to Bellamy only having a photo of the shepherd and his book to occupy his mind for months. Which brings me back to Clarke’s drawing in episode one. That scorpion foreshadows Bellamy’s death. (Making it a tiny bit more bearable more me.)
My next point is regarding Octavia’s line to Fin. “Rescue me next.” Yeesh. This just takes my mind straight to when he goes to rescue Clarke and massacres an innocent village.
This one’s a bit silly but Clarkes face when Octavia strips off was the shows way of hinting to us early about her being into girls. She flat out just stands there drooling for a second before going back to default Clarke mode.
The next two are both about Jasper
.Monty says “note to self: next time save the girl.” While patting Jasper on the shoulder
.Now I know the shoulder pat was a way of saying well done but I couldn’t help but think yikes, next time he does not save the girl
..
Then when Jasper is about to jump the rope Fin says. “I knew there was a badass in there somewhere
it’s okay to be afraid Jasper the trick is not fighting it.”
Then Jasper replies with “see you on the other side.” And yes I’m totally aware this is probably the100 trauma but that whole exchange just encapsulates what Jasper becomes. The see you on the other side cut deep.
Finally, we have the final line of the episode. “We’re not alone.” A classic line in media that usually references aliens. After watching the last two seasons, i cannot see this line as anything but foreshadowing for the discovery of aliens and eventual becoming of aliens.
The end conclusion of this messay is that I will forever remain delusional rather than admit the ending was bad. Despite the bullet holes on the Mount Weather sign showing that the writers weren’t fully committed to the ALIE setting off the bombs storyline meaning that they couldn’t have planned the whole story from the start, I will choose to ignore that.
Side note: I am very traumatised after finishing this show 💀 I should have stopped at season 5 like the streaming services wanted me to.

JudgementâšĄïž
A story based off Cyno’s thunderstorm voice line.
Mentor!Cyno x you
——-
The wind howled as it dragged a cold chill over the city of Sumeru. The days were long working in the matra, so you decided not to let the threat of a storm disrupt your peaceful journey home. Every day you revelled in the sights. On the face of things, the city never changed. But, when you really looked, it was never stagnant. A different story in every corner, in every second, in every person that passed by. You watched as you walked, soaking in the city. You saw a man skulking near some stalls. He was staring at a sack of fruit, like a lion hunting its prey. You watched him lick his chapped lips before forcing himself to look away. His movement revealed his sunken cheeks. You began rooting through your pockets for some mora to buy him a hot meal.
“HEY!” You dropped a few coins as you whipped your head up in the direction of the shout.
You ran to the stall to find that you were too late. The hungry man had tried to take the sack of fruit for himself but the stall owner caught him. Unfortunately merchant seemed to have little patience as the weakened man was already on the ground and the fruit rolling loosely all around him rendering it unsellable, yet the merchant seemed to be blind to that.
“What is going on here?” You brought out your matra voice.
The stall merchant grabbed the man by the shirt and yanked him up to stand in front of you.
“I caught this no-good scoundrel stealing a bag of fruit from my stall.” He stated gruffly.
“Really? Because I just saw you hurting an unarmed man who is clearly starving.” You gave him a pointed look whilst putting an hand on your hip.
“I don’t care if he’s starving. He stole from me and if you don’t take him into custody, I will report you to your General.” His spit landed on your cheek as he threatened you.
You stood for a moment, thinking over the merchant’s words. You had recently had multiple complaints over your attitude, and you were on your final warning. You looked over, at the starving man hanging weakly from his grip. His sullen eyes looked broken. You knew you would be dooming him if you took him. He was too weak for lock up. But was this stranger worth your future in the matra?
“Fine. I’ll take him.” You grimaced at the starving man’s silent cries as pulled him away, back in the direction of the headquarters. He was deadweight as you dragged him along. As you walked, sky became darker until a bolt of lightning ripped a new contrast.
“In some legends, thunderbolts are a form of judgment from the gods above.” A voice interrupted your walk, just as you were about to round a corner. You turned slowly, recognising the gentle authority of Cyno’s voice.
“Relax.” You paused until you rounded the corner. “I couldn’t get another complaint.” You admitted before letting go of the starving mans arms and turning your back to him. Cyno smirked, understanding you, then turned his own head aside. Silence fell for a moment, then you finally heard the sound of scuffled footsteps running away from you.
“That was interestingly handled.” Your General looked down upon you, with a scrutinising look. “But I’m proud of you. You might not have done it by the book, but managed to find a way to resolve a near impossible situation without making a fuss or getting a complaint. Well done.” Your heart swelled with pride as he slapped his hand on your shoulder. “I’ll make a another me out of you yet. You’re just missing the comedy genius aspect.” He always knew how to ruin a nice moment.
“Well I better get looking for a new mentor then, because I certainly won’t learn comedy from you
