I found an old snippet on another blog of mine and wanted to put it here, a short ramble about Brokeback Mountian, it still encapsulates something really important to me and my queer identity. The first thing that reached out and said "I see you". Alit the fire within me.

Maybe neiche but as a trans man ive never identified as a girl, others did that to me for a while til I found my voive to say otherwise. My childhood was merely mislabled, when speaking of me as a kid my family refers to me as a little boy in retrospect, and thats just me. Thats how I do. I have always felt like a boy, I have always been a boy even when I didn't have the words to express what I felt. There was never deadname, and now they finally never existed, it was a false identity forced onto me like being a methodist christian was. Now I have my own voice I can rectify other's mistakes. And this is just how I feel about Me. It makes me happy and feel authentically seen.
