Walking to the middle of the room, the younger god kneeled in front of the queen. He looked exhausted, he needed some sleep, but that wasn’t her job to fix.

“Hera, please I need some help, or guidance, or something,” Apollo started.

“You could have asked while you were sitting next to my chair, Apollo,” Hera retorted, never looking up. “You look terrible, exhausted even. My husband asked you to take care of that boney concubine he has being fixed up, why is that wretched thing causing you trouble. If you want my guidance, dispose of it.”

“But, it isn’t up to you, I’m sorry, but I need guidance that doesn’t resort to Odysseus being thrown off of Olympus,” Apollo glared at a glaring Hera.

“Why should I help you if you talk to me like that, it’s hurtful to a woman you know,” Hera fake sobbed before going back to her fabric.

I'm not updating this week since I have a bunch of things irl going on. School is finishing up for the semester and my work is being dumb so I'm job searching. I also have been reading a whole lot and working on a Minecraft server with my friends and family. So, I will try to update next week, but this week a lot is happening and I have to sacrifice something.

I’ve been reading a lot lately (legit since the middle of March until now) and honestly I’m so round of myself. I started with an online pdf of The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan and red until like halfway though and went “I’ll find the time to finish this” making goals in my self-care app and it just never happening. I don’t have the money to buy the books myself, so I checked the library to see if there was a book for me to read (I was looking for The Song of Achilles or the Eighth Arrow but found the Rick Riordan gem instead). So, I checked it out, as well as the next book The Sea of Monsters. I’m actually on the Kane Chronicles now and honestly this is so much fun! I get to work early so I can read my book before work. I take the book with me so I can read it in between my class on Tuesday since I don’t drive and have one class. I’m just so lucky for the ability to be able to find the time to read published works.

I haven’t been able to sit down and read a book and give myself time to read an actual book in almost six years and I’m over 1.2k pages in a universe I didn’t know I would fall in love with when giving it the time and place.

Well, the point I was getting to is I’m 24 years old and I’m reading a book series meant for middle schoolers that are like half my age. I’m enjoying myself, I’m not spending a dime to do it either. Go to your local library, borrow a book, read it before you have to do a chore, read it while you do your laundry, read it during your lunch, or read it just to read it when you have nothing else to do.

Or donate to your local library if you can o others can use it for their aid as well.

Choose: You or Your Crew - Ch. 2 Snippet

“Agh, my head… Where are we?” I groaned out, looking forward, towards Eurylochus.

Eurylochus looked back, just slightly, sorrow on his face, “Some island, the first one we found. It's bursting with cows, just roaming around. Begging us to eat so much meat, and hunger is so heavy.”

The man then turned fully around, to face Odysseus, gesturing to the statue his captain was tied to, “This statue, the God of the Sun. Don't know where it's from, but here's where we found all these cows to hunt right in front, and hunger is so heavy.” To almost prove a point, the act of standing was almost too much for the man as he wobbled from side to side just to keep the strength of using his feet.

Chapter 2 is underway, but it might not go up until tomorrow, or the next day. But this is the snippet I want to share while I'm working on it right now.

My omegaverse headcanon is that you have alphas, betas and omegas, but like you don't have the mating bites on the neck. Yes they can be arousing, but like from what I've heard, kissing and sucking on the neck already is arousing? I dunno, I'm a nonbinary ace. But, also, they have the mating presses still and shit. I dunno. I've been drinking a cup of wine and it's almost 1:30 am. I'm rambling because I slept until 2pm today.

Like the omegaverse is just like our world, but all it has is the scent glands, mating presses and secondary genders. No mating bites, none of the whole "this is just an omega" like no, fuck that. And heats are just periods, that's it.

Choose: You or Your Crew - Snippet

Eurylochus, almost reading Odysseus’ mind, stepped forward, “captain?”

Odysseus could feel Zeus getting impatient at the lack of answer, and of Eurylochus’ interruption, so the mortal king acted, “I need you to make a promise for me, God King, Zeus.”

“Now, why would I do that for you, Odysseus,” Zeus noted. “It was your crew that attacked Helios’ cows, the man who interrupted is still covered in the cow’s blood.”

“It’ll be the only way I’ll offer myself to you,” Odysseus countered. “You said someone has to pay, and I get the final say, this is part of my final say. I’ll go with you, but my crew needs a safe way home.”

Zeus starts out chuckling, then goes into full blown laughter before stopping abruptly with a wicked grin that makes Odysseus already regret his decision. But, before he can object, there is a loud thunder clap and Odysseus finds himself in another location, held in Zeus’ arms like a husband would carry his spouse.
