I agree with this post a lot. Especially with the princesses. Give them more purpose than being the love interest! Make them use their strength and intelligent! Su Jung and Neelam have shown their speciality as the one with great leadership and another one with great herb knowledge, but I want to see more in Gina, Carla and Maria.

If you can rewrite the Prince series comics how would you do it?

Hmm... I would probably say the thing most lacking in the series is character development... so I would try to let the characters grow and improve in a realistic way. Currently in the series, I would say the authors gave Gion, Shintarou and Alex a fair amount of development without making them do a 360 in terms of personality, so kudos to them for that. However , other characters like Ciel, Albert and Felix really haven't changed all that much. I would also add a bit more backstory to some of the characters (such as Albert, Charles and Ciel). We literally know almost nothing about their pasts (at least with Albert we know the whole robin hood thing though because of K30).

Also, while I really like the ships in the series, and their dynamics... I feel like the female characters are kind of only there for romance? We only have five girls in the series, and they're all love interests. While that's not their whole personality (we stan queens like Su Jung and Neelam!!) it just kind of seems like it's their main purpose. So if I were to rewrite the series, I would add a few more female characters, and these ones won't be love interests.

I also wouldn't have changed Ciel/Gina's dynamic as much. When she was first introduced, their dynamic was like the "Arguing like a Married Old Couple" kind of thing, which was fun, but then they turned their dynamic into just Ciel flirting with Gina, while she would blush. While I don't mind this (they're a couple - it makes sense if they flirt and stuff), it's literally all their relationship is about now. What happened to Gina's sassiness, and their little bickering moments? Now all they do is just blush around each other like awkward teenagers. Personally I don't like it when couples are dumbed down to simply just blushing and other infatuation stuff.

Another thing that bothers me about the series is the concept of time, one book describes a heat wave (K22 I think) and then like literally a few books later, it's already Halloween (K25) . It went from summer to Halloween that quickly?? I would definitely try to incorporate a time frame and sense of chronology so as to make things a lot less confusing. I'd also make the series a bit more plot-heavy but I'd keep the episodic format. It's still a slice of life aimed towards 10-12 year olds, after all.

Oh and... I would write Alex to be a bit more cynical, but not to the extreme. Maybe... something like Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran High School Host Club.

Although I'm fine with Alex's current personality, I just feel like the whole "innocent, cheery and naive coming-of-age protagonist" is way too overused in books aimed for kids. Him being more cynical, would still be stereotypical, but would be more interesting. Imagine all the character arc possibilities as well.

I would also make Ciel more than just the comic relief. While he's hilarious and I love all his funny moments, he deserves more than that. I loved how they gave us a more serious, worried side to him in K7, we got to see a side of him we've never seen before. Unfortunately, he went right back to being the one-dimensional comic relief and we never saw him like that again. Please Kaoru, please. Give Ciel more depth.

So to conclude, I would not really change the setting and plot too much, but I would definitely make some edits to the characters, their growth, their depth, their personality, their backstory and their dynamics. Also don't get me wrong, while there are a lot of flaws in prince series, there are just as many positives and I really love this series, even if it's aimed towards primary school students.

Haru and Duke : * Clashing their blades together *

Duke : * manages to send the sword out of Haru's hold * Hah! You are now unarmed!

Haru : * Punches him *

Haru : SaYs WhO?!?

Haru : * Punches Duke again, send him to the floor and presses her elbows to his throat to keep him down *

The Cat Returns Headcanon 2#

Haru invited the Bureau to watch movies with her on the weekend in their free time and let Baron choose the movie.

Haru stared at the choice of movie Baron had chosen. She had international movies from Western to Asian and Baron pulled out the one from Asian.

He had chosen the movie ' Munafik '

" So...you want to watch a horror movie?" Haru slowly asked. Some of the movies were given by Hiromi and they had watched Munafik together before.

" While I am not familiar with this type of genre, I am curious with -- Malaysian, right? -- horror movies." Baron assured her. Muta and Toto didn't seem to mind and looked ready enough to watch it.

Haru shrugged as she put the movie on, " Okay, but just so you know, there are a few jumpscares, so prepare yourselves."

As mentioned before, Haru had already watched the movie with Hiromi. She also made sure to make some research about the movie before watching it to avoid confusion over the types of ghost in the story.

Halfway through the story, Haru watched the life draining out of the Bureau.

Toto jumped slightly at the car crashing scene, his feathers ruffling.

Muta actually gagged in disgust when the dead wife vomited nails in blood.

Baron...he was quiet.

Too quiet.

So when the movie ended, Haru turned to her friends, feeling slightly amused by their pale faces and being oddly quiet.

Toto began, " The end was a plot twist."

Muta added, " That man was insane. Let's just hope we don't encounter anyone like him among our clients."

Baron didn't say anything for a few seconds before he looked at Haru.

" ...To think that the father was so traumatized with his wife's death that he didn't realized his son was dead too...it was heart-breaking. A truly scary story, yes, but the meaning behind it..."

Haru smiled softly, " Do you know, ' Munafik' actually mean ' Hypocrite', hence, why the villian was unexpected to be the culprit."

Baron nodded, " So that's the point of the story. The ones we need to beware the most are not the front enemy -- rather, it's the ones that hide the knife behind their backs as they smile at us."

Haru couldn't agreed more. But she noticed how Baron looking a bit troubled and tilted her head.

" You alright, Baron?"

The feline looked straight into Haru's eyes and whispered, " I don't think I want to see another horror films."

The quiet atmosphere was broken by Haru bursting out laughing.

Oh, this is nothing. He should have seen the Exorcist.

...

A sly smirk was on Haru's face as she thought of any kind of way to make Baron watch another horror movie with her in the future.

The Cat Returns Headcanon :

In the middle of a hot day in the Bureau, Haru brings an armful of water guns and a bucket of filled water ballons

Most cats hate water. Sometimes even birds avoid water so they wouldn't get their wings wet.

So the question is, how the heck did the Bureau was chasing each other armed with water guns and water ballons?

It all started when Haru came to visit the Bureau in the middle of a hot, summer day, with her arms occupied with water guns and a bucket of balloons. When she purpose the idea of having a water fight, Baron and the others simply refused ( Baron didn't want his clothes to get wet, Muta just dislikes water and Toto didn't want to wet his wings too. )

Muta and Toto got into another fight, in which they both accused each other of not wanting to play the game because they simply weren't good at it. Toto took a balloon out of the bucket and dropped it onto Muta, proving him wrong. In return, Muta grabbed one of the water gun and started shooting water at Toto and they both were now outside, getting themselves wet.

Haru turned to Baron, offering him to join them in the water fight.

The feline shook his head, " No, thank you, I think I would rather stay back and watch."

In which he then found himself getting shoot with water by Haru in the face.

So an annoyed Baron grabbed a water gun and chased after the girl.

After a good 2 hours of attacking each other with water, the Bureau tiredly sat by each other in front of the office, laughing off their silliness. Baron went inside to retrieve towels for each of them.

As Baron wrapped a towel around Haru, the girl leaned in and smirked, " So, did you have fun?"

He chuckled, " I guess this is one of an exception where I don't mind getting my clothes wet."

" You gotta admit that I was the one that shot you guys a lot," Muta pointed out.

Toto snorted, " What, you mean like when you aimed at Baron, but slipped and fell on your face?"

" At least I didn't slammed into Haru when I got shot, Birdbrain!" Muta scowled.

As they both resumed their daily fighting, Haru leaned against Baron.

" Want to do something like this again?" She smiled up at him.

Baron pulled her closer, grinning, " Definitely."

So I just finished The Bureau Files series written by @catsafarithewriter and I would just like to say,

That it is one of the best things I have ever read. For one thing, I love the words used to describe every kind of details in the story. The emotions and everything! I also love how the author portrayed that all of them have their own pain and they always so selfless that it HURTS to see them suffer for other's sakes.

And the blooper! Oh my god, I would really like to draw them! Especially for the fifth series!

HIROMI IS SUCH THE DEFINITION OF A BEST FRIEND AND CONTINUED TO EMBARRASSED HARU 😂😂😂

I especially love the part where she went to Haru's mom and just said,

" Haru's pregnant with kittens."

And Haru went, " HIROMI!"

And everyone else just lose their sheet 😂😂

I also wonder if there's possibility for Baron and Haru to bear children? 🧐 Maybe adoption? I am looking forward for the day they get married! 👀✨💓

The last blooper is absolutely sweet and funny 😂 Haru and Baron be plotting to get more scenes of them kissing just because they want to and to tick everyone off. Lol.

So, @catsafarithewriter , thank you very much for your masterpieces of The Cat Returns fanfic and your work hard is recognized by many people including me! So if you see any opportunity to continue the series, I would take the greatest pleasure to read it.

Tamaki x Nejire Headcanon

A/n : I am a sucker for this rare ship. I love them. Btw, this art is not mine. It belongs to @digitalscratch-arting

Tamaki is known to be a very shy boy who tries to avoid any interaction between him and strangers due to him being nervous too much. Let's say that some boys view him to be too 'softie' and constantly talk back about him, saying men shouldn't be shy and timid like Tamaki is.

And let's say that when the Big Three; Mirio, Nejire and Tamaki were hanging out together as usual, Nejire heard some boys talking bad about Tamaki. She would have let that slide and not wanting to cause troubles if the insults kept getting worse and worse until she finally snapped.

Nejire : * Turns around and points at the boys* Hey, you!

Mirio and Tamaki paused in their steps and looked at Nejire in confusion. The boys also froze in surprise, not knowing the girl heard them.

Nejire : You have a lot of things to say about my friend, Tamaki, right?

Tamaki's eyes widened and he looked at Nejire in disbelief, thinking what was she doing.

Tamaki : N-Nejire...W-What are you doing..?

The boys were now silence, not wanting to say anything.

Nejire : * Frowns* What? Why aren't you saying anything? Come on! Speak up! Let's hear what you just said about Tamaki! You think he's too soft? You think he's weak because he's too shy to talk to people? Never judge a book by its cover! You've never seen him in action! So keep your mouth shut if you have anything bad to say about him!

She turned back to Mirio and Tamaki, regaining back her cheerful aura.

Nejire : Sorry about that! Let's go!

Mirio : How impressive, Nejire! You're such a great friend!

Tamaki : N-Nejire...

Nejire smiled softly at Tamaki.

Nejire : I won't let...anyone talk bad about you, Tamaki. Especially since I know how hard you've work to be a hero. I won't even let people look down on you!

This sent Tamaki to turn as red as tomatoes. He looked down, even the tip of his ears are red. Happiness swirling inside him, knowing Nejire would always defend him.

Tamaki : ...Thank you.

Upon seeing him smile, Nejire's smile widened.
