A couple of weeks ago, I celebrated my 20th birthday. It was a chance to reflect on the last couple of years that I've been alive and think about how wild it is that I made it to this age. It doesn't seem that special, but I genuinely could not see any future for me past 18. I spent my teen years waiting for the countdown to reach my 18th birthday so I can finally die... But it didn't happen.

Suffice to say that I spent the ages 18 and 19 in an undescribable confusion and an intense identify crisis. If I'm not dead, then I must be something. Anything to give my life meaning. But I didn't feel like I was. I felt like a void, swallowing the light around me into the endless abyss that has consumed my life.

To think that after all of that desperation and hopelessness I would still live, and make it to 20. Then my life must be worth something if I made it past that dark phase. I feel like I got a 2nd chance at life and I sure as hell will spend it doing what I love and loving what I do.

Can you imagine being stripped of safety at the happiest moment of your life? I’m Suad, a young mother from Gaza, where I gave birth to my son Khaled amidst the chaos of w@r.

When I first heard his cries, I felt indescribable joy, but soon I was overwhelmed with fear. How would I protect him from the hor/rors surrounding us? Each day presents a new challenge from food and water shortages to a lack of medical care.

My family and I have faced repeated displ@cements, searching for a safe haven away from the bomb@rdments. I struggle daily to provide Khaled with his basic needs while our health deteriorates under these harsh conditions.

I urgently need your support to secure shelter and medical care for Khaled. You can be part of our story, as every bit of help makes a real difference.

-We experienced multiple displacements due to the surrounding dangers, facing daily threats to our lives and being forced to keep moving. Link1

-Khaled's health deteriorated significantly, and he required daily nebulization sessions to alleviate his condition, but power outages prevented us from providing the necessary treatment. Link1

-With the deteriorating conditions, we are suffering from significant financial pressures due to rising prices and a lack of resources, making it exhausting to meet our basic needs. Link1

I have come to realize that I can’t face these conditions alone. Every bit of support, whether through sharing my story or posting these updates, means so much to my family and me. I am Yusuf, a diligent student with big dreams. I have a passion for horseback riding and swimming, activities that bring me joy and a sense of freedom. Riding my horse or diving into the water was my escape, a world filled with happiness and hope.🍉🇵🇸

However, with the outbreak of war,🚀🚀 everything was destroyed. I lost my school, my friends scattered, and my dreams shattered. I left behind a place that represented safety and learning, and everything around me became filled with chaos and destruction. I felt lost, as if a part of me had vanished.

Despite all the pain I have experienced, I still dream of returning to school and reigniting my passions. I want to reclaim those beautiful moments spent riding and swimming. With all the challenges I face, I believe I can rebuild my future and that my dreams will not be lost forever.

I am Yusuf, a diligent student with dreams of a bright future. I have two brothers, Abdullah and Yazan. Abdullah has always excelled in his studies; he is currently studying technology and was the top of his class at university. He had big ambitions and worked hard to achieve them.👨‍👩‍👧

Yazan is also in university, filled with his own dreams and aspirations. However, with the outbreak of war, all our hopes were shattered. The circumstances we wanted to build for ourselves were destroyed, leaving us feeling lost.

Despite all the pain we have endured, we support each other. I believe that we can overcome these challenges and rebuild what we have lost. With every challenge we face, we still hold on to hope for restoring our dreams and continuing our journey toward the future.

My mother is a lawyer, and life has never been easy for her. She has always been determined, working hard to support us. Balancing motherhood and work, she strived to meet our needs. She established her law office, which was not just a workplace but a source of security and stability for our entire family.

However, with the outbreak of war, her office was destroyed, and our dreams were shattered. The place that represented her hard work and dedication was reduced to rubble, leaving us feeling vulnerable and lost.🚀🚀

Despite these hardships, my mother’s strength inspires us. We know that as a family, we can support each other and find a way to rebuild our lives. We hold on to hope that one day we will recover what we have lost and create a brighter future togethe⛺⛺

I have a sister who lives in southern Gaz, and she has a young child. Recently, her home was destroyed, leaving her without any place to find stability and safety for herself and her baby.👨‍👩‍👧

The destruction of her home has been devastating, not only for her but for all of us. She and her child are now facing uncertainty and fear, without the comfort of a secure environment.👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👨‍👩‍👧

Despite these challenging circumstances, our family remains united in support. We strive to help each other through this difficult time, holding on to hope that one day soon, we will find a way to rebuild our lives and provide a safe haven for everyone once again.

Life in northern Gaza has become unbearable. We are living in constant fear🚀, deprived of essentials like food, water, and medicine. The war has taken everything from us—our safety, our stability, and our health.

Hello everyone. I'd like to talk to you about my friend Suad Ahmad.

Suad is a brilliant engineer from north Gaza who found herself in the middle of a genocide while pregnant. Despite the horrors that occurred in the area, despite the starvation and famine she endured, Suad was able to have her baby.

But her and Khaled (her newborn baby) are still stuck in Gaza till this day. Their lives are at risk at every given moment. Not to mention the dust from all the bombing has given Khaled a severe chest infection that only gets worse every day 💔

The situation in Gaza right now is heartbreaking. After losing her job and her home, Suad cannot afford the medicine and clothes for her baby.
