Loving this transition, coming from UPDOG to UTTANSANA forward fold. In my new workshop "The Yogi Blender" @yoga_flow in April , we will practice this transition to warm up our center, our midline, so we can feel strong moving from one arm balance to another. Draw in through the navel and engage those Bandhas and drag yourself to the top. Great way to practice getting stronger for handstand and all arm balances! Sometimes you have to go into your quiet place, be really still and see what happens. Maybe you will go be able to access something that you never could before. Pressing up to a handstand is something I never thought I could do, I wouldn't even try. I tell my students all the time that it doesn't have to be perfect, if you don't try you will never know. How can you learn if you don't start somewhere??? Never be afraid to try. You might hit the wall... lol. And it will be ok. You have to be willing to fail a little bit. Each incremental shift teaches you a little more about the pose, and about your willingness to keep going.
