Wednesday season 2 starts production at the end of this month so I like to take a moment and share my dream once more!
Please spread the word!
Since Wednesday Season 2 is apparently rumored to start production next month, I have decided to reshare this video with you guys! As you know, I have to dream to work on Wednesday. Well, the reason why is because of how the characterization of the outcast characters parallel us minorities in society.
youtube
And how I, a person who is neurodivergent and mistreated in society like other minority groups and the outcasts on the show, break those stereotypes society plaques us in my career path towards post-production. Want to know more? Read on.
I am SomeNerdFromWhatever. Cosplayer, content creator, and aspiring editor for the scripted entertainment scene. Back in 2022, I watched Wednesday and fell in love with it and upon reviewing the show time and time again, the outcasts stood out to me. 3 months ago, I made a passion project about the Netflix show Wednesday. Titled, "Why I resonate and aspire to work on Wednesday Season 2 as a Real Life Autistic Outcast for Netflix," this video is a culmination of my passion for storytelling and advocacy by using the outcast characters on the Netflix show. The video is divided into two main parts. The first half is analyzing the outcasts on the show. These are students from Nevermore Academy who are constantly mistreated in their own town of Jericho. I highlight how they parallel actual minorities like us and in the second half, I use that to focus to my personal journey as an autistic individual striving in society. The reason for this? Well, because having relatable characters in a society that doesn't understand you makes the struggle feel less lonely, and it empowers us to pursue our dreams despite the odds. As I am still learning the ropes of my career path, I want to make it known that as an inspiring editor for scripted media, I want to help craft stories that share our struggles. That's why I love the entertainment industry, you can create stories that connect with people and whether I am involved in Wednesday Season 2 to give back what they gave me or another show with similar themes; I want my story and talents shared to the world.

ngl I thought the puzzle piece as an autistic symbol meant like. I am a vital puzzle piece to your society. humans would never have invented half the things they did without us. you're telling me it means I'm missing something?? buddy. listen. listen to me reeeeaal closely. no human has all the pieces to humanity. no one. no one has all the features enables no one has all the strengths weaknesses or quirks. no one has a whole puzzle. we make the freaking complete picture together. that's the freaking point.

Turns out people on YouTube really hate it when you point out that losing in games is not the end of the world. You lost one match, so what? It’s just a game. Learn to lose!
Turns out we need those lessons in the video game world. Seriously people, it’s just a game, chill out.

April is “Autism Awareness Month”, so here are a few reminders for you to keep in mind:
Autism Speaks is a hate group.
The reasoning behind “Light It Up Blue” (that there are more autistic boys than girls) stems from a tendency in doctors to base their autism diagnoses on stereotypes and sometimes refuse to diagnose girls.
Most autistic people don’t want a “cure” for autism and don’t support Autism Speaks.
Autism Speaks has given abusive/ableist parents legitimacy by portraying autism as a terrifying, life-ruining affliction and sympathising with parents who have contemplated killing their children, or actually killed them.
The views of autistic people are more important in this topic than the views of our allistic family members and peers.
Autism is not a disease.
Very little (about 4%) of Autism Speaks’ proceeds go toward supporting autistic people. More of it goes toward catering.
Autism is not a tragedy.
What autistic people need is acceptance, not awareness.

Unfortunately I am in America :( RIP my dream I guess.
But this does seem like valuable information to those interested in the film and television scene. I wonder as fans what can we also do if we’re not in Ireland. I’m still wondering about that.
I am considering making more videos about the show on my channel that’s for sure. Have to get started with my Overwatch 2 review and then start cranking out ideas for Wednesday videos.
I figured I share this on my page if that’s ok, any newcomers in the industry could use some information on why the industry does what they do you know?
Wednesday is doing extra and background actor casting for Season 2 only in Ireland!
Tumblr media
It goes by Project Nero but heavily implied in the text and the information provided it’s highly linked to Wednesday Season 2!
I wish they opened up internationally instead of locally. We need more diversity considering Nevermore is quite diverse with its outcasts. I understand it’s to cut costs but if you’re Ireland give it a try! Who knows?

Banning a social media or phone app won't fix your issues.
Since apparently this is being brought up again, I thought everyone needs to know this.
Banning TikTok will not fix problems for social media. Like in general. Their problems is the same as every social media, including here. Singling one app when letting others do it is peak hypocrisy.
Yes, you heard me. It may sound blunt, but let's face it: banning one app sets a dangerous precedent and a slippery slope. This ban won't magically address our privacy concerns either. Social media sites collect data, and yes, you heard me right, even those that operate on our own soil.
Allow me to pose a question. Do you think Threads, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, or here on Tumblr is an exception? Wake up! Other countries are scooping up that data as we speak, and some of them are doing it in ways that make China's approach look tame. And banning an app doesn't stop China from stealing data from other social media sites, like this one. Tumblr is not safe either. Telegram? Well, considering it's Russian that's worse... They don't need a social media app because they are engrained internationally.
Moreover, with people across the globe using these platforms to communicate and share their thoughts, banning one app seriously messes with our First Amendment rights. It's essential to remember that when we ban one app under the guise of safety, it opens the door for more bans under the same excuse. Recent events right here have shown that the real issue is the clash of worldviews, which, quite frankly, is amusing. The US needs a GDPR law here now. And that is a fact. To compound this, Thomas Germain from Gizomodo wrote an article about a bunch of our own American researchers who went to data brokers in OUR OWN COUNTRY pretended to be Chinese officials and they bought data THROUGH THE SOCIAL MEDIAS I LISTED ABOUT MILITARY PERSONAL. They are all US based, including the Russian Telegram. China has our data already thanks to these companies actions. So if these are okay, why do focus on this instead of focusing on the bigger picture? Balancing data privacy and speech like the EU's GDPR Law? While it’s crucial to address the challenges posed by data collection and foreign influence, it’s equally important to ensure that our responses don’t infringe upon the freedoms we hold dear. Implementing comprehensive data protection regulations, akin to the GDPR in the EU, would provide a balanced approach that safeguards our privacy without compromising our right to free expression. Plus it can make our own US companies accountable instead of scapegoating another country. If we do it too and turn a blind eye, we are no different from them. Don't take this the wrong way, TikTok has concerns like other companies, but this GDPR like law is the better option.
These apps are firmly entrenched in our world, so we should treat them like public spaces and that means no censorship, just big data reform that our data is our data in our soil. If anyone wants to make a new public space, we should have our own data here. Other countries? Well our data is stored here and this is the way. And if you don't like what I say? Tough. TikTok is here to stay, and if you don't like it and want it banned? Congrats, you're no different then folks who want to ban books other nothing... because you are like them. In fact, if the president passes this day one, expect a lawsuit that stops the ban from happening.
This isn't a matter of left or right; it's a matter of getting things right instead of playing political games.
US needs a GDPR law, not politicians that love to hit the ban button. Think about movements made on social media including mine about autism acceptance.
Would you like to go down in censorship or have millions of voices protected with our data in our social with a GDPR like law? Cause I made my decision.
And that is Data-reform.

If I told you someone was murdered in a high school bathroom, and the school did nothing to help, and the murderers were only suspended for two weeks, there would be a fucking uprising. A riot.
so why is it that nobody cares as soon as it’s the two-spirited (sorry for the prev mistake) kid?
The people who want to do something about it are scared, because it could have so easily been them. It’s still possible for it to be them.
because the murder won’t stop unless people start speaking up and saying that what happened was wrong.
We have to fight back, for Nex and for all of us. Because if we don’t speak up now, we could be silenced forever.
Rest in power, Nex
edit because apparently I have to do this: haters and people blaming Nex for their death and people deadnaming and misgendering in the comments I will remove your comments and then block you so stop

The media saying Nex died from a “fight,” rather than an attack, and the school saying they died from “underlying health conditions,” is just proof that we can get murdered and then blamed for dying.

It’s been almost a week now.
DON’T LET SOCIETY FORGET THEIR NAME.
Bring those three bullies in, and remind the world that Chaya Raichik is responsible for Nex's murder.
Don’t use Chaya’s username, say her full name. Because the world needs to know that Chaya Raichik is responsible for Nex's murder.
Chaya Raichik is responsible for Nex's murder.
Nex didn't deserve to die.
Warning: This is a massive rant that deals with heavy topics. It's long, it's blunt, but I want to share this because quite frankly, it's sickening and I want to use my platform for good.
On February 19th 2024, I heard something that really drove me and others up a wall:
Nex was brutally murdered by 3 female bullies in their school all because they are human. With no help from their own school system to save them, it's no surprise why they deserve the criticism for their inaction.
Now why did I say, because "they are human" instead of "they are non-binary"? I'm not denying they are non-binary, as a non-binary myself it is disturbing to hear such awful news. I am not ignoring this critical information. They are valid.
Truth is, I want to highlight their HUMANITY because the LGBT community are humans like you.
I never met Nex personally, but I feel a deep connection with them as a fellow non-binary person. I know what it's like to face bullying, harassment, and discrimination for being who I am. Even before I came out as non-binary, growing up with autism, I know the pain. Middle School was a pain for me because of it, it led me to hate myself. I know what it's like to live in fear and pain, to struggle with self-acceptance and self-love. I'm happy that their family accepted them for who they are and I feel sorry for their loss as well. This shouldn't have happened.
The more I think about this, the worse it gets. If Nex was not non-binary, if they were just another student that day, how would the public react? Everyone would be outraged and demand justice! But because Nex was non-binary, I have seen a lot of people, a lot of DISGUSTING people, say that they deserved it and that they were NOT HUMAN. In fact, that is why I hooked y'all's attention by saying that they are murdered because "they are human". I want to make this clear: Regardless of gender identity, Nex's inherent humanity is first and foremost.
As I see those countless comments pile up minute after minute, hour after hour... all I can mutter is "why?"
How can anyone promote and celebrate a death of another human being for just being themselves? How can anyone love to deny the humanity of others because they expressed their souls for who they are? How can anyone celebrate deaths of others who love the same gender, who become trans, or non-binary? Even after everything is set and stone, literally how?
And if these "people" who hate them do believe in some god or religion, why would they be hypocrites to their own god? Didn't their god say "Love thy neighbor", and "Don't bear false witness"? How can they claim to follow their faith, when they violate its most basic principles? I have a dad who practices religion sometimes but not a lot, I told him about this and the hypocritical nature of some of these people. The best way he worded it is this: "they can't claim to love god if they bastardize their teachings. God will roll their eyes and send them straight to hell."
Is this what humanity is now? Celebrating the death of innocents who their "crime" is living their best life?
There is no political two-sided debate on this issue. In fact, THERE NEVER WAS.
We are human, just like everyone else. We are human, and we matter.
And if I can for a moment, I notice a common theme here when it comes to these horrendous acts:
For a lot of these people that hate the LGBT community but love freedoms like free speech, it is pretty telling how much these people care about themselves and not practicing what the constitution preaches. It's hilarious yet baffling. Remember the book bans? They love to say it's to protect the kids but their ulterior motives prove otherwise. They targeted government public libraries all across the country claiming that books who celebrate being different are a "cancer". It wouldn't be surprising if they cheered for KOSA, a sweeping censorship law masquerading as child protection, but in reality, aimed at tightening control over Americans like myself to limit our expression. They want to censor and silence our stories, our voices, our experiences. They want to erase and deny our existence, our diversity, our humanity. They want to ban books that feature stories that say it's ok to be different. They want to forbid us from wearing clothes that express our gender identity or challenge gender stereotypes, even if they are harmless and comfortable. They are afraid of "drag", which is just fabric and makeup, which is hilarious how they managed to get so worked up on that.
Even more hilarious is the fact that they "claim" to hate China, Russia, and other authoritarian countries for their censorship, but they are damn eager to emulate it here in the "land of the free". Passing laws that blatantly violate our rights and our constitution every day. How do they not see the irony? It's pretty god damn telling right? Almost as if their version of "freedom" is not free for the people, but free for themselves. Freedom of expression is not selective, it is universal. If you respect the right of others to have different political views, you should also respect the right of others to have different identities.
"Land of the free" am I right? By expressing these statements, you really are no different from the countries you claim to hate.
This world is a cruel place, and the people that are cruel are the most pathetic people of all. Especially those that:
Be afraid of people using rooms with toilets all because they are different.
Be hateful and violent towards people who are different from them.
Be ignorant and arrogant about the diversity and complexity of human nature.
Be offended over people wearing fabric and clothing that is different from the norm that promotes their expression.
I’m not taking this post down. Say what you want on what I think, but we tried explaining this to you many times, the facts are all there clear as day and clear as crystal.
We are human.
Rest in Peace Nex. May justice come to those that wronged you.

It's been almost a week since Nex's death.
Somehow humanity is still celebrating and justifying their death.
You don't get to claim to be for life when you celebrate the end of someone elses.
Why is the concept of appreciating human life turned into a joke? To be for life you have to appreciate the life of others no matter what. If you don't appreciate their life except yourself and claim to be for "life", then you are a hypocrite. Full stop.
There is no argument here.
