Hi girl I am 20 and ı want begin new self care journey are u have beginner tips for me ?
The biggest tip I can give you is don’t fall for the over consumerism self care. Don’t believe you have to buy every $50 product to take care of yourself or wear 20 things on your face to bed every night.
Self care is feeding yourself nutritious food when you’re hungry, drinking water every day, exercising and moving your body (work out, HIIT, yoga, pilates), wearing what makes you comfortable, and keeping yourself clean and happy.
For your journey, start exercising, start cooking at home every day, drink enough water, socialize, and treat yourself. Have a self care night with a long hot bath, a simple face wash routine, and hair or face mask. That’s all you need:)

Getting through rough patches ♡
The past few months haven't been easy. Maybe your grades are slipping, you're feeling depressed, or maybe you're just not where you want to be right now.
That's okay. We can get through this. A rough patch does not define you or your life. What matters the most is recognizing it, and responding to it.
ㅤ♡ Realize you're in a rough patch. Recognize this is a hard time in your life right now. Whatever happened, happened. You can't change the past but you can change the future. It's gonna be okay.
ㅤ♡ Collect yourself. Take a few deep breaths. Understand this is not the end of the world. You can get out of this, turn things around, and plan for a better tomorrow.
ㅤ♡ Responding to it. Make a plan. What are you going to do to pull yourself out of this slump? What can you control in your life? What are the steps you can take to better yourself, your life, or your future? Take your time to think about it <3
ㅤ♡ Coming back from it. Going through a hard time will not last forever. You can come back from it, and plan for better days ahead. Don’t let this define you. You will be okay<3

How to be confident ⊹₊ ♡ ˚。°
1. Know you who are. 
When we are more connected with ourselves, we feel more sure about ourselves, our decisions, and make our intutition stronger. Find ways to connect and align with yourself, which can include yoga, meditation, self-care, and alone time! 
2. Walk with confidence. 
Walk around knowing you’re that GIRL! Straighten your back, throw on that outfit, and walk with your head held high. Even if you aren’t feeling confident, walking like it will boost your confidence!
3. Surround yourself with good energy.  
Always cleanse your energy. Cut out all toxic and negative energy that might be in your life - whether its a person, or something else, our energy is sacred. Toxicity will destroy your confidence, and you are your highest good. Do yourself a favor and cut out that bad energy!
4. Self-care. 
Prioritize your mental and physical well-being. You are all you’ve got, so take care of yourself. When you feel healthy, you will look healthy. When people search for confidence and beauty in others, they find it in health - glowy skin, bright eyes, soft hair - self-care will always be my go to confidence booster.
5. Stick up for yourself. 
Never let anyone walk over you. If someone disrespects you, say something. You have to show people that you know who you are, you know your boundaries, and most importantly, you respect yourself. Self respect is the #1 most important quality of confidence. Show it off!

yes!! personally i love emma chamberlains podcast “anything goes” on Spotify. it’s basic, but it’s great for growth and understanding yourself and what it means to truly appreciate the time you spend alone.
i also love adelala on youtube. her videos are so motivating and super cute. she’s helped me a lot in the past with both growing as a person and becoming the it girl i’ve always wanted to be!!

Getting out of a rut
Time to get out of our sad girl era ・゜ʚɞ゜・゜
Don’t indulge in depressive behavior. it’s hard, I know. But I promise you will feel so much better the second you force yourself to get up.
Take little steps. Don’t force yourself to do a 20 step skin care routine. Instead, take small steps. Cleanse your face, drink some water, or stretch for 10 mins.
Get outside. Sitting outside for a few minutes can help clear your mind and wake you up! It’ll make you 10x more motivated to get your day going.
Shower. I know it seems obvious, but a simple shower goes a long way when getting out of a depressive state. Clean all that negativity off!
Dress up! Been in the same PJs for 3 days straight? It’s okay. Try something new! Even if it’s sweatpants, it’ll make you feel much more refreshed.
Movement is key. Get your blood pumping. Stretch, walk, exercise, dance, anything works! You’ll feel the energy coming right back to you.
Make plans. Being around loved ones always makes a difference. Friends, family, pets even! Go see them and appreciate the happiness it brings you.

self care for when you’re on your period
~ for cramps
heating pads r amazing.
hot drinks & food
very minimal stretching
childs pose or fetal pose
sleeping if you can
weighted plushies & blankets (not too heavy)
~ for emotions
light exercising, its good for your body as well as improving your mood
light a candle of your favorite scent
wrap up in warm blankets in ur favorite pjs
eat whatever you’re craving with no worry :)
tell someone how you’re feeling or just talk to someone in general <3
~ general period tips
minimize salty foods if possible, it can worsen bloating
avoid any foods that generally make you feel gassy, constipated, or cause an upset tummy
ibuprofen is good to use for pain, but don’t take too much too often
avoid coffee if possible, it can worsen period cramps :(
warm showers r ur best friend
get a good amount of sleep
~ for helping others w/ periods
be kind and try to understand where they’re coming from if they are irritable
listen to them and be there to comfort them when they’re going through it
help them if possible! getting food, medicine, etc.
let them sleep / rest
treat them with compassion <3
