When I was a lonely, bookish kid, I used to tell myself that I didn't need friends. I guess my lack of experience prevented me from seeing the point. But, I see it now : The point is to send a picture of the historical outfit I wore to the Titanic museum and recieve a photo of a random train driver, captioned : "Stuck in Germany bc of suicide on the rails, driver left to get fresh air and a sandwich as a toddler is continuously shitting himself. You went to the Titanic museum looking like a fancy iceberg. Was that crap on purpose ?"

I fell victim to this today because a very stereotypically irish lad with sick knights tattoos scanned my museum ticket and said, in a heavy accent : "If I may say so, you're looking quite dapper today"

As a spn fan who is on both tumblr and reddit, the main difference I've noticed is that people on tumblr.com read destiel mpreg every night at bedtime and send it to their great aunt but if you so much as mention Cas on the spn subreddit they'll tell you you're supporting a cradle-robbing incestuous fag and call you several slurs

It's crazy to me how the internet has given a voice to the most extreme people to ever formulate a thought. As in. What you hear online is just. Unimaginable elsewhere in time and space ? There's a bloke who would've been repeatedly put to the pillory back in medieval times for spreading myssinformationne upon thine dash but now he's just "believerGeorge82" and he petitions people to have Trump pass the "put single mother's babies into McDonald patties" bill and there's a facebook group of women in awful fake tans called "Tits out for believerGeorge". Digging up the emo Arthur Rimbaud cosplay I put together and then presented for a school project because my final exam wound up being on one of his poems and I aced it.
