my everything shower routine.

...

step one: oil my hair some light hair oils, rosemary, almond but mostly coconut, only on the scalp and a thin layer on my hair. leave it on for an hour while i do the second step.

step two: exfoliate my face and neck use a face scrub, or a gentle exfoliant to target clogged pores first and then the rest of my face and neck. gently exfoliate and wash your face with cold water.

step three: put on a sheet mask or a peel off mask put on a sheet mask when i have exfoliated deeply. put on a peel off mask when i have not exfoliated deeply. be careful not to overexfoliate.

step four: wash my hair wash with emulsified shampoo on scalp twice and rinse with lukewarm water to get all shampoo off my hair. use very little shampoo diluted with water to wash the oil of my hair.

step five: hair mask apply either a deep moisturising or a protein hair mask depending on the state of my hair. moisturising if it is dry and protein if my waves aren't taking shape. put hair up.

step six: wash one wash my body with a aha/bha/salicylic acid body wash. and rinse with warm water.

step seven: exfoliate body exfoliate body with body scrub or an exfoliating glove, especially the parts to be shaved. wash off with warm water.

step eight: shave use either shaving cream or a foaming body wash to create lather and shave. then wash off with cold water.

step nine: wash hair take hair down and wash off the hair mask. make sure not to get the hair tangled. wash off with cold water and put hair up.

step ten: wash two wash with scented body wash. make sure to get all parts of the body. wash one to two times if scent doesn't cling. rinse off with cold water.

step eleven: curly girl method haircare use a leave in curl conditioner and scrunch. then use flax seed gel and scrunch. make sure to apply the products evenly and proportionately, if not it could look very oily after drying.

step twelve: towel dry and mositurise step out shower and moisturize. if you don't like the feeling of moisturizer, apply moisturizer while your body is half wet, it makes the moisturizer feel lighter.

step thirteen: skincare do the usual skincare routine. always put on sunscreen!

step fourteen: diffuse hair diffuse and dry hair according to the curly girl method.

and that's how i do my everything shower! after this, i usually do some journaling or take a short nap to feel energized! you could also do this before bed.
