When it came to Akihiko, there was lots of things that were great about him, he was strong, with a powerful will to keep up the fight and most notably, he lived and breathed fitness. Which wasn’t exactly a bad thing, it was good that he was staying active and healthy just like he had been doing ever since they’re high school days. Minato did admire his dedication and passion to fitness, but even so, there were many times where he took it, a bit too far, so much, that Minato at first, thought that was all he thought about. But the experiences they shared together along with the others, would debunk that thought. 

Even still, he was a little too into fitness, and it showed on several occasions, especially when it came to protein, something he always heard Akihiko talking about, something he held in very high regard, and always a little too often. So when the other approached him and presented him with a gift, at the beginning he was excited. Well, that was until he finally opened it. And what was it?  Protein. 

Of course it was, what else was he really expecting from someone as gung-ho about working out as Akihiko was? The look on his face, said it all, he wasn’t too impressed. Minato never used protein powder for things, in fact, he even managed to build muscle without the help of protein, so honestly, he wasn’t sure what to do with this. They say its the thought that counts, but in this case, it didn’t exactly count, since protein wasn’t really his thing.

This is something that can depend on who he's with and what verse we're talking about. In his canon verse, Levi hasn't had the opportunity to explore a whole lot so there's a lot more that he's hypothetically into, while in his modern verse for example, he's more experienced with his interests and kinks.

That said! Some things he's into:

Levi does have a masochistic streak in him, and enjoys some level of pain. Having his hair pulled, generally being manhandled a bit, and he's quite the fan of impact play, and in his modern verse he has the toys to prove it (which he's happy to be on both the giving and receiving end of.)

On the compete opposite end of that, he enjoys body worship, the kind where he can take his time to caress, kiss, and appreciate every inch of his partner's body. And to have it done to him, to be touched so gently, honestly does him so much good - physically and emotionally - though he may have trouble asking for it.

He likes having his ass grabbed. And slapped. Not that he'll ever admit it.

While he's not the most adventurous in terms of locations and sticks to the bed more often than not, he does like the idea of doing it on, say, someone's desk, or up against the wall (and he is often strong enough to hold his partner up, even if they're taller/bigger than him.) With oral, he likes it when the receiver is sitting in a chair/on a couch while the other is on their knees in front of them. Something about that position really does it for him.

Sensation play. In addition to impact play, he likes incorporating things such as restraints and blindfolds, and is interested in temperature play-- wax play in particular.

He also just really, really likes seeing evidence of the pleasure he's making his partner feel. Their face, the sounds they make; he gets really turned on seeing them come undone from what he's doing to them.

Ψ : Canon scenes/chapters you can't stand to watch/read (because it's sad)?

So I actually like watching/reading the sad stuff, because I like getting to see those emotions from Negan and as a roleplayer, love analyzing those scenes to better understand him. Not that I enjoy seeing him sad, but I love seeing all facets of my favorite characters, especially Negan who puts on a certain front most of the time.

Negan's intro where he kills Abe and Glenn is one I watch a lot despite it being brutal and sad (I still get teary-eyed or at the very least wince while it's happening) because it's so well done. As for scenes where Negan's the sad one, the scene that comes closest to me not being able to stand watching it would probably be some of his moments in his cell, particularly the one where we see him hurting himself... especially after I saw the behind the scenes pic that implied that wasn't the first time. I think most of us agree that he deserved to be locked up (some would say he deserved worse), but regardless of what he did, seeing someone reach that state is hard to watch.

But I hadn't incorporated anything about how long it took to complete. So without further ado, here's my headcanon data dump on that topic. (Which will also later be added into my headcanon masterlist. Thanks for the food for thought, Anon!)

The ink used for the King Shield's tattoo is known as Lux Atramentum. This sacred ink is prepared by the High Priestess of Lucis solely for this purpose and is consecrated.

Tattoos are engraved by hand, by a grandmaster horishi using the traditional hand tattooing method. (hand tattooing video, Tebori Tattoo)

The ceremony of receiving of the King Shield Tattoo is considered a sacrament and requires seven days to complete. Seven days signifies the Six Astrals (the Draconian Bahamut, the Archaean Titan, the Hydraean Leviathan, the Fulgurian Ramuh, the Glacian Shiva, the Infernian Ifrit) and the Kings of Yore.

Each day is dedicated to one of the Six Astrals, the final day being dedicated to the Kings of Yore. The master horishi meticiously hand inks the tattoo with Lux Atramentum as six priestess and the High Priestess chant prayers for protection and fortitude over the King Shield.

i got my isbn today for the book. 8 months to go. my mom and i were talking about what the next steps are. i was eating trail mix, standing on one foot, phone tucked into my ear.

"yeah," i said. "the problem is that tumblr as a market is like, not something that can be studied." there's this weird wave of nostalgia and affection for this place that came up over me: how lovely we avoid consumerism. okay, it sucks as a creator. but also? keep stickin' it to 'em.

my mother made the sound at the back of her throat that i also make, the one that means i've got an idea. "you should figure out some kind of reward for presale amounts. maybe you give out poems or a mug or a signed book or something. would your followers like that?" my mother is sweet, and kind, and i have no idea how to explain on this website you can buy someone crabs.

i put more m&ms down the hatch. i had to speak through peanuts and almonds. "if it passes 25 thousand i will print the book out in its entirety and eat it live on camera."

"oh god. no, you don't have to do that." she was anguished. "just tell them that you'd love them to read it, and that they've inspired you to write. you got started on that site, and they helped you keep going. raquel, you love these people. the community? you talk all the time about the other writers and artists and whatever else. tell them that you're hoping for their support, they'll come through."

"no," i assured her. i discovered i had dropped an m&m, but an ant had already found it, so it belonged to him now. i will let his little life have a surprise blue treasure in it, too. "i'm gonna fuckin' eat the book."
