I was checking an oldish tag on here and saw some of your old asks about Stas where people told you everything she was doing, full transparency and you defended her like no other. Everything they spoke about came to light and we are now or have been seeing since Europe everything and more that people mentioned . So im curious (maybe you’ve said before but i didnt see it) what made you change your stance and open your eyes to her odd behavior especially towards Colby? The asks were pretty blunt and straight forward and you still found a way to curve every answer.

I checked the tag btw because i noticed today that not only did she promote Katrina on twitter, but made a tiktok to her song, told people shes her biggest fan, and has been liking a bunch of C4 edits and pics. I remembered seeing asks talking about her never supporting Kat only Colby so after seeing that i came back here to try and find what else those asks said and saw everything everyone has been saying is pretty legit.

i did say a while back why my feelings changed for stas, but i'll just state them again i guess lol

so, originally, when ppl would come to me saying why they didn't like stas, to me it didn't feel like it was a legitimate reason. and i felt that way bc they would come on here, talk about her, but give no proof to their claims. just say that "oh i heard this" or "i think she did this" or "did you see she did this" and to me, none of it was enough proof to throw her off the island, so to speak. i mean, some anons talked about her liking edits as proof enough that she was shady or up to no good. ppl would use her likes on twitter as main example of "see! look how bad she is" and the tweet in question was either not there (bc she probs unliked it) when i would go looking for it or if it was about colby and her… it was harmless and not something like "colby and her should be together. they have something going on".

also, no offense to anyone that sent me asks in during that time period, but i don't exactly have the most faith in the fandom towards ppl outwardly hating on a girl bc she's close to colby. it's happen countless times. the amount of times i've been told that the reason a girl that colby's friends with or hooking up with or JUST STANDING NEAR is bad bc "she just gives me bad vibes"… let's just say, if i had a nickle, i'd be a rich woman. so when it started happening with her, i didn't think much of it. thought of it as jealousy or just over-protective fans.

but things started to change a bit, i would say, by summer. i think after one too many trips to vegas, my liking for her was dwindling. idk if she did something or what (bc at this point i don't remember), but the vibe changed around her and what she was doing. at least to me. not to mention, no matter what she did, it was drama. and that itself was exhausting.

then colby made that tiktok with her. and when he started deleting comments shipping the two of them together, that's when i knew oh, he really doesn't want to be shipped with her and i thought this was him actually laying down the law and finally putting his foot down to all the shipping that goes on between him and stas.

then europe happened. and i fucking KNEW this trip wasn't gonna end well. i felt it in my bones. or maybe i'm just really good at picking up patterns lol

what first started to gross me out, was finding out about her mom posting things. and look, i'm all for a supportive mother. and tbh idk if her mom ever responded to fans. but what concerned me was how much info she was sharing publicly. and then how many fans were searching for her mom, finding her page, and basically narrowing down where they were in brussels and all that. snc have been stalked before, have had their house broken into before, what they DO NOT NEED is someone with them basically giving their every location just bc those fans are subscribers.... or random ppl on her mom's facebook.

that's when i also noticed that her roommate was at least cognizant of fandom drama that had happened not too long ago bc she liked a tweet about it while it was happening. that turned me off quite a bit as well. and i know a lot of ppl bring up stas posting the video from colby's bedroom and honestly…. ngl that flew under my radar. it just didn't feel like anything to me at the time.

and then finally: tomorrowland. the amount of fans that upticked their talks of colby and stas when they were basically forced to hang out with one another the whole time bc kat and sam wanted their own time away (which is fine, don't get me wrong. but it just really didn't help the already existing issue of colby and stas being shipped) was super fucking annoying. i basically was getting upwards of 10 asks a day, and that's a light guesstimate, about the situation. and while i don't mind talking about something…. i don't want to talk about it that much.

then, the malishka thing happened. i literally ignored it on here bc i just couldn't talk about it. at first, i was angry at colby. like why would he post this this is so stupid. but as time has gone on, i've basically come to the lovely realization that stas is the one that posted it (also, according to some whispers i've heard she basically told her subs that she did. idk tho that's alleged). realistically, colby doesn't understand russian. he probably filmed her, showed her the video, and she typed that and posted it. she also had earlier post the pic on his story of her face zoomed in. at least, that's what i personally believe. and when asked what malishka meant, she probably lied or just didn't tell him bc he probably didn't rewatch his story.

bc something to note is that they had terrible wifi in tomorrowland. so he might not have even known about this whole thing until a day later or so.

and what made all of it worst was the fans' reaction on twitter. and the fact that a lot of the fans that came out and congratulated colby and stas for "finally being together" after "all this time of us knowing" were both ppl i followed and ppl my age……….. i basically was about done with the situation. and then of course she had to like a tweet about the malishka thing. and that solidified it for me.

and if THAT WASN'T ENOUGH, they came home from the trip and colby hung out with her one more time right before moving to vegas. he literally told us on xplrclub that he was gonna be THIRDWHEELING in vegas (aka laying it on AS THICK AS HE COULD that he was single), and that fucking night stas told her subs that she was going on a date. and wouldn't you believe it, but it was her and colby hanging out ! along with others, but no one saw them on her story. just her and colby.

after that, colby mentioned multiple times about being single, being young, and wanting to have fun while in vegas. and i think that's when the tides personally turned for stas. she had fun playing house with colby in europe, she had her fun of living the fantasy of what it would be like to be colby's gf, to be Y/N. but reality set in when they came home. i think the last night they hung out, i think she confessed how she felt, and he rejected her. and look, she has every right to be upset about being rejected. i get being rejected, especially by someone you feel you have a connection to, SUCKS ASS. i'm not denying that. however, you caused your own delusions. colby was literally hooking up with six flags girl multiple times this past year, LITERALLY BROUGHT HER TO A HANG OUT SESSION WITH THE CORE FOUR, …..and you think he was into you???? the same man that deleted comments about the two of you together????????? the same man that FOR YEARS has begged the fandom to stop shipping him with every girl he's friends with??????? that man… was into you?

i mean, he went on a (assumed) date with a girl in vegas and stas tweeted like four things that night about being hurt or whatever (idk at this point i don't remember all the details) and then on top of that deleted said tweets. maybe something happened between them. i doubt it wholeheartedly tho. i think she loved the fantasy of them being an item, but he wanted no parts of it.

bc that's the thing: colby loves to tease us sometimes. like with amber. he loves making the fans freak out. but when he does shit like that, he chose to be part of the game. this is the only time he asked not to be included…. and she did it anyway. i don't think he knew the extent of breadcrumbs she was leaving for fans to speculate. i think when he saw what happened with the malishka shit (bc again he probs didn't see it until a day or two later bc of wifi and just wanting to enjoy his vacation) i think stas left a soured taste in his mouth. and then she made it worst by telling fans that her and him were going on a date…. and that was enough for him to be done with her. that's why at kat's bday party he sat as far from her as possible and seemed to not want any parts of the party. and that's why she's talking about being rejected now. bc i personally think they are done being friends as of rn.

i mean… it would make sense too. bc the moment he was hurt by what stas did, who did he run back to after all this time? shea, the original stas lmao

and as for stas all of a sudden being up kat's ass, to be as bluntly honest as i can be, i do not fucking care. i've gotten a bunch of asks about it. i can't be more frank than literally telling yall i don't care. i'm tired of talking about stas. bc even tho i don't like her, and i do think she is a bit of a snake, not everything she does is newsworthy or needs to be talked about. she liked something that implied feelings for colby? who cares. she wrote a poem about him? who cares. she wants to leave comments about how much she loves kat? omg who cares. we all know at this point she wants attention.

thinking about romantic beach trips with pg and kawhi and sometimes tmann tags along too bc. they are a family…

ROManTIC BEACH TRIPs ⁉️⁉️

FIRST OF ALL... I wanna talk about the differences in drip here. As always, a big factor in the pg/kawhi relationship. ... we need to talk about Kawhi's floral granny shorts... wtf is that bruh KWBDKS looking like a dusty guest room mattress that got bed bugs probably. In general u can say his drip is very convenient. He just throws on whatever he can swim in. King. He doesn't really care for sunglasses, he just wants to get going on the trip. But PAUL?? Paul simply NEEDS the blue tinted shades. He doesn't understand how Stupid he looks in them yet. And the backwards cap of COURSE. He's here to take a 'hot' photo of the water behind him. Meanwhile Kawhi has some far away Observer clicking random pics that look the cleanest but no one knows what the hell he's doing. I feel like they'd Both wear their own jerseys to the beach, but for different reasons. Kawhi might just grab his because it's sleeveless and easy, while pg grabs his to show off that he's pg and he's going on a romantic trip with his 'Whi Whi' LMFAO

But anyways.. imagine them lounging on the sand (on a beach towel ofc tho) listening to Kawhi's music. His mixtapes LMAO. Pg being the first and only one to hear them, the only one to watch kawhi tap his foot to the beat and nod whenever the bass drops to his approving. Just quiet relaxation. Pg dumping some warm sand on Kawhi's knee to help it feel better and then he brushes it off to reveal a hidden sand bug now biting kawhi's knee (kawhi doesn't really react to it. He just kinda glances down at it and lays back down like 'if I die, I die' but pg freaks and has to flick it off real quick for kawhi.

Maybe a skittering crab visits them? Kawhi randomly just starts telling unknown facts about it, like it's scientific name. Pg just refers to it simply as Mr. Krabbs tho. They probably try feeding the crab, which attracts seagulls that attack the crab and make them sad LMAO

While they DO spend time lounging and staring at the waves thinking about how far they've come and how strange yet nice it is to share this spectacular view with someone they love, they're both open to fun beach activities. Maybe they try jetskiing and pg has a competition with kawhi to see who can stay upright the longest? Who can build the biggest sandcastle? Who can get the most skips with a rock? That one was more difficult because sometimes Kawhi found rocks that he felt too bad to skip away tho so finding suitable ammo was scarce.

BUT ABOUT THE FOUND FAMILY (Vin diesel voice)... I think Pg and Kawhi are definitely the kind of parents who let their kids take home like. A bucket of seashells. As long as there's no little creatures in there, they can take em. Kawhi probably helps TMann find the prettiest and coolest of shells to collect, and Pg hypes TMann up about how they could be useful fashion accessories if you save em right! Kawhi is definitely the kinda dad who's the designated carrier, so he carries the bucket and the picnic basket and the umbrella all in one hand for his family LMAO. He scoops his hand into the sand Bank for cool sand pebbles and creates a tide pool AKDNKW. Pg probably picks up a starfish and is like 'oh this is cute!' And then it tries doing that creepy starfish sucking disintegrating thing so he throws it back into the beach/ocean/salt water whatever BRUH idk.

Tmann probably isn't a big open water swimming, and especially hates the icky feeling of wet sand mush between his toes, so kawhi and pg probably have to coax him into the water a lot. Usually he gets on a floatie and they push him off to sea and everything is cool until a curious fish tries nibbling on his toes. Then he thinks he's getting attacked by JAWS and races to the shore.

Pg and tmann probably take a ton of fashionable instagram Beach pics in their extra clothes and whatever and then you just see kawhi crouched over in the background wearing some plain grandma boxers poking some seaweed with a stick LMAO. Local beach cryptid..

They're definitely the kinda parents who have like... a whistle that they blow whenever they think their kid is swimming out too far JANJDAJ. Kawhi will spot some big waves coming and he'll usher his family back onto the sand, safe and away. One time pg stayed back because he thought he could tough the waves out and then he got hit by one and like. Exploded or smthin idk LMAO the end result is just that he got sand in his trunks and that made him grumpy for the rest of the trip until they saw some dolphins

I think kawhi is kinda just. A natural creature magnet. He's just so quiet and stoic that animals are drawn to him. He'll be standing in the water and all a sudden a bunch of stingrays are swimming around him. Or suddenly he'll just take off his water shoe and they'll be a tiny octopus hiding in it. Very good for pg and tmann's instagram pics LMAO

Tmann probably feels bad for the scavenger seagulls so he feeds One (1) and they all get mobbed by squawking feathers of fury. Tmann probably cries because GETTING FLOCKED BY BIRDS IS SCARY!!! Pg probably tries reenacting that one scene in this really bad The BIRDS movie where like... the main character tries karate kicking this really bad cgi bird LMAO. Either way they end up losing half their foods to the birds and half to run into the closest building to hide from them

When they swim at the beach uhhhh pg probably jokes about like.. 'uh oh! I think I swallowed a jellyfish! Guess you'll have to pee in my mouth lol' then looks at kawhi expectantl-

Let’s start with Dreamcatcher.  

Jiu is vampire tokki Tokki to represent her cuteness and vampire to represent her... oof-ness. Vampire because esp after you and i she was constantly wiping her mouth with the back of her mouth like she was a vampire. Tokki cuz that’s her animal. 

Sua’s main tag true leo is pretty self explanatory. aliphant is a combination of her english name alice and elephant her favorite animal and I use it when she’s being silly

Siyeon is gorgeous cutie gorgeous for oof-ness cutie for cuteness. sitting pretty because somehow she looks amazing even when she’s lounging around. Like she makes sitting looks so interesting and beautiful.

Handong is knowing eyes it’s kinda literal? She has heavier eye so always has a knowing look in her eyes? But it’s also a little not literal? (lol I’ve actually wrote this out before so this is a copy paste) So, Handong has a very classy/elegant vibe but she doesn’t feel unapproachable and I think it’s because of her eyes? There’s a playful mysteriousness there that’s daring you to get closer and follow her. So there’s this juxtapostition of her classy aura/appearance that seem unattainable and her warm eyes that give you hope that maybe she isn’t unattainable. 

Yoohyeon is tol koala because even thought she’s the tallest member she’s always clinging to someone. That’s just a cute tag I haven’t thought of a oof tag for her yet

2. I’m super allergic to cats. like, if one bites or scratches me i will go into anaphylactic shock. or so my doctor tells me, but i’m not testing that theory. 

3. I put my milk in the microwave for 11 seconds and then i put the cereal in. fight me but i ain’t drinkin no super cold milk that early in the morning oK like the milk isn’t HOT it’s just not 4 freakin degrees celsius

A compliment (or two, or three) about me that made me feel warm inside: definitely anytime someone thanks for me my advice and tells me how it’s helped them! and also when someone compliments my writing. 

Something I love about myself: i love that i love myself, that i know i’m worth it, and even the parts i don’t love about myself i still accept bc this is me. this is alll me. 

Something I love about someone else: i love my husband’s laugh. it’s the kind that lights up a whole room. 

Something I’d love to buy for someone else: pay off everyone’s student loans. just. poof! 

Something I’d love to buy for myself: a private chef. i love to eat but hate to cook so there you go. 

Three things that make me happy right now:

1. Just started reading ninth house by leigh bardugo! Perfect autumn/halloween read. 

2. Had a compulsive thought to redecorate my office at home and then promptly ordered some new prints from society6, so I guess we’re going through with that one boys!

3. Finally got me some wireless bluetooth headphones and my life has changed! No more headphone wires getting caught on things!! I can actually set my phone down somewhere while in the lab and not have a tether!! omgggg thank u gods of technology

Something I’m looking forward to: gonna go visit my husband’s nephews this weekend in san diego to celebrate the 2nd bday of the older one. i also haven’t seen the younger one yet so time to squish some baybees!

Something I enjoyed recently: binge-reading leigh bardugo’s six of crows and the sequel crooked kingdom (i finished both of them in like.. a week; just couldn’t put them down). HIGHLY recommend if you’re in the mood for a badass fantasy/magic heist involving a rag-tag team of thieves, spies, and no-do-gooders.

Part 1: Just Another Day in Crackhead Paradise (ateez beachy au)

-your friend Yerin invites you to a weekend with some of her friends at a beach house

-can you guess who those friends are?

-wow y/n you're so smart

-it’s ateez

-so basically

-you and Yerin arrive at the beach house (more like mansion) in the morning and you’re more nervous than you’d like to admit

- “so how many people are going to be here?” you ask for the hundredth time while staring at the beach house (mansion) in amazement

- “um, about fifteen including you and i” Yerin answers with a bright smile, hooking her arm through yours to drag you up to the front door

-she rings the doorbell impatiently, bouncing slightly as the two of you notice a figure moving toward the door

-a tall guy with blonde hair opens the door, giving Yerin a warm smile before pulling her into a hug and exchanging pleasantries

-Yerin gestures to you and you bring yourself back to the conversation in time to introduce yourself politely, shaking his outstretched hand

-you learn his name is Yunho and you’re hoping that if you repeat his name enough in your head, then you’ll be able to memorize it before you meet the next person

-unfortunately, that’s not how it goes and you end up meeting the entire group at the same time because they were all gathered in the living room waiting for everyone to arrive to choose rooms

-and you two just so happened to be the last to arrive, perfect luck

-Yerin introduces you to everyone in a long line of faces and names that you don’t quite catch, though you recognize a few

-but when you reach the end you lock eyes with a smiling boy with dark hair

-your heart beats a little faster in your chest and you force yourself to smile so you don’t seem weird or impolite

-he introduces himself as Wooyoung and you make a mental note to prioritize his name in your memory

-so after meeting the guys, gals, and non-binary pals

-Yunho offers the idea to spend the day at the beach behind the house

-for the next couple of hours, everyone is having a grand-ol’ time

-you’re still kind of shy since you’ve only just met most of these people so you opt to observe more than take part in the crackheadery that these individuals are partaking in

-the girl in the yellow bathing suit (you think her name is Anna) jogs up to you and asks if you can take a group pic for her

-you, being the nice person you are, smile sweetly and take the camera from her, watching quietly as everyone squeezes together to fit in the frame

-anna jumps on her boyfriend Jongho’s back and throws up a peace sign while everyone else poses and smiles as you begin to take a variety of different pictures of them in different poses

-this wasn’t the first time you felt slightly left out, unfortunately

-when everyone starts to play chicken, partnering up quickly and teasing one another, you watched enviously, wishing for a second that you hadn’t accepted Yerin’s invitation

-speaking of Yerin, your disappointment doesn’t last for long as you watch your friend climb on the shoulders of the boy she’s been talking about lately, you’re pretty sure his name is Yeosang

-they’re up against Anna and Jongho and unfortunately, you know your friend is about to take a swim in the ocean because those two are no match for the younger couple

-you haven't known the other couple for long, but you can tell these two are unbeatable

-your prediction comes true as you watch Anna give Yerin a strong shove, successfully pushing her off the boy’s shoulders, sending them both falling into the water

-your eyebrows raise at the sight of the victorious couple, vowing not to mess with either of them (because that was quite the yeet if you do say so yourself)

-your amusement luckily continues into the next activity as a handful of people from the group decides to start a game of tag on the beach

-at first you were impressed at how serious everyone was taking the game and how fast they were managing to run on sand, like that’s a hard thing to do my guy

-but you are also incredibly scared that someone was going to eat shit and you might witness a hospital visit today, so you are covering your eyes every time you think it is going to happen

-and then it does, but not quite in a way you are expecting

-Yeosang reaches out to tag Yerin, but as he’s reaching his hand out to tap her, he manages to trip on the sand and fall forward, catching the back of her bikini top in the process

-your eyes widen as you watch the incident unfold

-as Yerin trips and falls onto the sand with her hands expertly holding her top to her body for dear life, Yeosang lands on top of her

-all while this is unfolding Jongho, manages to sneak away and grab the camera to record the fall for his and Anna’s youtube channel

-everyone is silent for a couple of seconds as they try to process what just happened

-then, laughter and wheezes fill the air as Yeosang scrambles off of Yerin while she tries to retie her top with one hand

-after that whole ordeal, everyone agrees that they should take a break and settle down into the sand

-a little while later, Anna again asks you again to take their pictures, but reassures you that if you’d rather relax, that's fine too

-and once again, being the sweet soul you are, you accept and begin taking pictures of yerin, anna, and another girl named sun-hee

-the three girls pose seductively as you snap each flattering angle, making sure they look good for Anna’s instagram

-the small voice in the back of your head keeps nagging

- “why are you hanging out with these people? Your looks literally cannot compare like at all. They’re all so gorgeous and you’re just...you”

-little do you know, a boy by the name of jung wooyoung has been noticing your small facial expressions and downcast looks

-after a day at the beach with your new friends, everyone heads back to shower and regroup for nightly festivities

-since everyone is tired from a day of running around doing stupid shit and having fun, it was a collective idea to relax and eat good food (with a little side of booze)

-there were 8 bedrooms in the house

-so there were two people per room (except for Yunho. He was rooming alone cuz his girlfriend couldn't make it to the mini vacay rip)

-you were chilling in the living room waiting for yerin to finish showering

-while you were waiting

-Yeosang knocks on the door to the room, asking for a towel

-no answer

-he opens the door slowly and is faced with Yerin’s ass on full display as she bends down to pick up her shirt

-aksjdldllajdjf he’s so embarrassed and blushy and splutters out some incoherent words as Yerin turns around

- “don't act like you haven't been staring at my ass the entire day. You're not slick boi I see you”

-Yeosang doesn’t know what to say as Yerin approaches him

- “and what if I say that’s not true”

-Yerin narrows her eyes at him, a small smirk forming. “Then we’d both know you’re lying and you’d be missing out on an opportunity.”

- “an opportunity?”

- “so if I kissed you right now, would you say no?”

- “no” he replies almost instantly, his cheeks reddening at the lightning-fast answer

-the way her smirk widens at his answer makes something in him lose control and he grabs her waist, pulling her to his body

-the feeling of her skin against his only serves to heighten the mood, sending his common sense spiraling down the drain as his lips move against Yerin’s fervently

-trails of fire run across his skin where her fingers brush and her lips touch, sending a chill down his spine

-he hums against her lips as she pulls his hair, sucking on his tongue

-he pulls away after a few more moments, attaching his lips to her neck and leaves light kisses down the side until he reaches the base of her throat, stopping to suck a dark hickey into the skin

-he repeats this action a few more times along her neck before she pulls him away to leave her own set of hickies along his skin

-while this is happening, you make your way upstairs to the room, assuming that Yerin is done bc she hasn't come down in a while

- “hey Yerin are you do-”

-your voice gets cut off as your eyes take in yeosang sucking Yerins face off

- “kdjfglsdhdljalka im so sorry I’ll leave omo-”

-you dash out and end up knocking on Anna’s and Jongho’s door to use their shower instead lol

-once everyone has finished showering and freshening up, you all gather into the living room

-San and Hyejin and Anna and Jongho are coupled up on the love seats and the other seats are occupied… except for the one right next to Wooyoung

-you make your way to sit next to the boi, not seeing how he blushes and scoots a lil bit to make more room for you

- “long day?” he asks you as you lean into the back of the couch, its large cushions almost swallow you

- “yeah, im not used to hanging out with so many people”

-you internally cringe at how much of a loner you sound

- “me neither. Its usually just me and the guys but since Jongho and Anna and Hyejin and San are dating, it makes sense for us to all hang out together” Wooyoung says smiling

-your heart beats a lil bit faster at his attempt to make you feel better uwu so cute

- “so what do you guys wanna do?” Sun-hee asks the group, sitting on the arm rest near Hongjoong

- “maybe we can have a night in? Like relax, eat, drink, enjoy the sunset? y/n seems kinda tired so we should have a chill night”

-you blush at the sound of Wooyoung taking your tired state into consideration

-everyone seems to be kind of worn out so they all agree

- in the next couple of minutes, pairs are designated for each role: buying booze, cleaning up the deck, buying snacks, buying and setting up stuff for a bonfire, making a playlist, cleaning the living room and doing laundry, and setting up the bar

-just as Yerin is about to ask you to stay at the house to clean up, she sees Wooyoung standing behind you, making a neck slicing motion toward her, unbeknownst to you

- “i wanna partner with her1!11!” he mouths to Yerin

-she secretly puts her hands up to surrender while you look away, talking to Joonhee

- “actually, i might pair up with Yeosang. Why don’t you and Wooyoung go... get snacks or something”

-you turn back to Yerin, eyes wide

- “are you up for it?” Wooyoung comes to stand next to you

-you nod, scared your voice would betray you, not being able to function with him standing so close to you

- “alright people, let’s meet back here in 2 hours. Don't do stupid stuff or get arrested. Jongho, don’t let Anna let weird people into the house- don't give me that look young lady. No one knows what you may do. You literally strike conversations with strangers” Seonghwa gives the youngest a stern look

-and with that, the second part of the day is underway

a literal saint and god amongst men right here. his brown eyes are so soft and his little smile puts me at ease. this is a man who would treat me right (fact). this photo is also from quite deep into the playoffs so the beard is going a little wild, and whilst i’m glad it isn’t like this all of the time, i very much appreciate it when it’s around.

okay this is just cute. they look like 2 dads who aren’t entirely sure how to take a selfie but are willing to try. the outfits lend this a slightly chaotic energy - i can’t commend zee’s colour combo if i’m honest, and when juxtaposed with the plaid shirt it kind of hurts my head. but it adds to the dad energy so i still love it. also this is from chara’s ig and the caption is super sweet.

DADS WITH THEIR KIDS ALWAYS GETS ME. i don’t even want kids, nor do i particularly like them, but seeing a man with his child is the cutest thing in the world and this, predictably, is no exception. patrice’s son 100% has his eyes which is really cute. speaking of patrice’s eyes, he may be smiling here but if you look into his eyes all you will see is fear - that child does not appear too bothered about remaining upright on the ice, and i suspect thay bergy is concerned about this. it would be criminal for me to not comment on the jeans. bergy has some exceptional thighs as these jeans do an excellent job of highlighting that.

this is Hot, and i’m not accepting criticism on that opinion. the crisp white shirt w no jacket or tie, and the top buttons undone???? i need a lie down. the hands are also making a nice appearance which i can always appreciate. basically what i’m saying is that i’m jealous of that snake this is an excellent photo and i owe the bruins instagram person a drink for posting it.

do you remember when i said bergy had marvellous thighs? well take a fucking sip babes - they’re like tree trunks carved out of carrara marble. if i have to die i want it to be because they crushed my skull. this is also one of the clearest photos i’ve seen of his tattoo, so it has that going for it too ( sidenote if anyone has an image with literally a pixel of his tattoo pls send it my way, i’m getting desperate at this point). i also think men in jewellery is a good look so i’m digging his beaded bracelets and silver chain. fantastic picture all round.

yeah okay there’s no escaping that the main reason this one made the list is 🍑. it’s exquisite. those pants also do a great job on the thighs too. the hair, socked feet (no i dont have a fetish i just think ppl in their socks with no shoes is kind of funny), and hands get an honourable mention

  “Damn, I thought we were going to a five-star restaurant.” Riya almost whined, pouting as she sat down beside Darius opposite Zafira.

 “Sorry, Babe, but not everyone has Jonas Brothers’ type of money.” Darius said with a shrug. Zafira burst out laughing and lifted her hand for a high five. Darius grinned and slapped her hand right as a waitress came up to their table.

 “Hey guys, my name’s Justine!” she said enthusiastically, before she gestured to her name tag which had ‘Justine’ written on it. Zafira didn’t miss the bright jingling silver bracelet that had ‘BUCKET’ written in caps before a big red heart. “I’ll be your waitress for today. Here are your menus, don’t hesitate to call me if you need anything,” she said with a smile, “Oh, and I should let you know, we currently have the meal deal on the Grilled Chicken Sandwich if you happen to be interested in a free cookie by any chance…” she winked.

 The three of them gasped in unison as the waitress walked off to tend to another table and looked at each other. “Free cookie?!” Zafira said in amazement, as she watched Darius and Riya mirror her expression.

 “We have got to get that meal deal.” Darius practically demanded, with a slap of his fist on the table, none of them paying any attention to the three menus that jumped up and almost fell off.

 “I can’t believe we’re giving in so easily to capitalism.” Zafira said sadly, sighing in dismay. “Wendy’s 1, Karl Marx 0. I’m sorry, Marx, we have failed you.” Riya and Darius burst out laughing at her remark and eventually Zafira was guffawing along with them.

 …

 Soon enough, Justine was bringing out a tray with the orders on and Zafira couldn’t help but rub her hands together in excitement. “Chicken Sandwich, get in my belly! Y’all have no idea how long it’s been since I last ate a burger, my stomach can no longer recall the sweet taste of that seeded bun.” Zafira shook her head sadly as her eyes widened upon the tray placed down on their table.

 “Here are 3 Grilled Chicken Sandwiches with those free cookies I promised. Enjoy your meal, guys!” Justine said with a smile, laughing at the faces the three of them made.

 “Thank you!” They chorused, almost salivating at the sight in front of them. Justine grinned as she walked away and Zafira and Darius couldn’t dig into their burgers any faster.

 “Guys! Wait, I’ve gotta get a pic to put on my IG or Snap! Guys, c’mon, don’t finish the burgers already!” Riya exclaimed in a panic, shooing away their hands and pulling out her phone as fast as she could. Darius and Zafira exchanged glances and rolled their eyes before moving away from the table and crossing their arms in unison.

 Riya finally took the picture and settled back into her seat with a smile. “You can dig in now, guys, go on. Oh my gosh, it looks so good, look at those crinkle cut chips! Mmmm…” She murmured as she rubbed her hands together.

 “Finally!” Zafira groaned, before she quickly scooped up the burger and took a bite. Her eyes widened and rivalled Darius’ own expression of wonder.

 “Oh… My…” Darius whispered, and even Riya looked shocked, something they didn’t often see at a fast food restaurant.

 “This is…” Zafira mumbled, staring at her burger in amazement.

 “...Art.” Riya finished off. The three of them nodded in agreement before diving back into their meals.

 “Truly, no one does Grilled Sandwich like Wendy’s do.” Zafira said around a mouthful, “These chips! They’re so soft and potato-ey! I could eat these forever.” She moaned, washing everything down with a swig of her drink. She let out a loud, garbled burp and Darius and Riya looked up at her in surprise. They shared a funny look before they were once again roaring out in laughter. All of the customers around them looked at them weirdly and a girl sat at the far end of the outdoor eating area rolled her eyes. “High schoolers… just wait until you get into college, y’all won’t have much to laugh about then.” She shook her head, adjusting her headscarf and glasses before going back to using her laptop, labelled with an ‘Ifraah hearts Hayden Young’  sticker.

 By the time they were finished with their meals, Zafira sat with her hands on her belly and a weird feeling inside her stomach. “Guys, is it me or are you feeling a bit nauseous too? This burger has done a number on me,” she groaned, “What did they even put in there?”

 Darius and Riya sat back looking very content. “It must be you, that burger was…” Darius trailed off, kissing his fingers and throwing them in the air, “Simply beautiful!”

 “Yeah, who cares about five-star restaurants anymore?!” Riya stated passionately.

 …

 It was only half an hour later when the trio had finished revelling in the aftermath of the food and that sumptuous free cookie, that Zafira felt the first gurgle in her stomach. “Uh oh…” She trailed off, eyes widening as her hands reached for her stomach in slow motion.

 “What? What is it?” Riya asked, frowning at Zafira’s now sweaty face. “Are you OK? You look really hot…”

 Zafira shook her head, hands flying to her mouth as she got up and raced towards the entrance of the diner.

 “Zafira!” Darius called out after her. He exchanged a bewildered look with Riya. “What the heck?!”

 Inside the diner, the Mercy Park Crew felt a sudden breeze as a blurry figure that looked an awful lot like Zafira rushed past them. “The hell?” Mona said, perplexed. Toby and Ximena watched the figure dart into the ladies’ bathroom and glanced at each other before shrugging and going back to what they were doing. Mona realised that the person looked awfully familiar and even Logan and Colt looked after the figure in surprise.

 Zafira, however, paid no attention to her surroundings, and threw the closest stall door open before doubling over and emptying the contents of her stomach in a toilet. Damn, she thought, maybe Wendy’s really isn’t the one. Her stomach clenched once more before she was gripping each side of stall, desperate to not make any contact with the toilet bowl itself lest she contracted something even worse. The acid burned in her throat as sweat and tears rolled off her face. “Bloody… hell…” she coughed out, hastily pulling on the toilet roll to wipe her mouth, “I swear, if I vomit again, I’m gonna scre—” she dry heaved, slapping a hand over her mouth and squeezing her eyes shut. Zafira turned and leaned against the stall wall, breathing heavily. “I definitely have to sue these witches, what the hell did I eat?!” She grumbled.

 As she walked over to the sinks, she caught sight of her reflection and groaned. Her face was red with dried tear tracks and her hair looked like a complete mess, “Great!” she mumbled, before washing out her mouth and cupping water in her hands to throw over her face.

 Another lady came out of a stall further down and walked hesitantly towards the sinks. “Hey, are you, uh, OK? I heard someone retching their insides out…” She trailed off, as she began washing her hands, watching Zafira carefully in the mirror. Zafira couldn’t help but notice her large hoop earrings that had ‘Hamid’ written in the middle with a heart around the text.

 “And you can only assume it was me because of how I look?”

 The stranger gaped and blushed, looking down at their hands and scrubbing away furiously.

 Zafira laughed. “I’m just kidding, don’t worry. Yeah, it was me. That dumb Grilled Chicken Sandwich must’ve been made with poison or something,” she groused.

 “Oh no! Damn, maybe you should sue Wendy’s or something! Can I get you anything, though? A tissue, some water... a lawyer perhaps?” she added with a giggle, “I’m Mics.” She smiled, holding out her hand towards Zafira to shake. Zafira lifted her own hand towards hers but hesitated upon finding them both wet.

 She looked up at Mics, “Wet handshake?”

 “Wet handshake,” she confirmed, as they laughed.

 Meanwhile, in the main section of the diner, Darius and Riya were fretting over Zafira and trying to figure out what to do after rushing after her. “Should we call an ambulance?!” Riya asked, fumbling over her phone and hastily trying to put in her pass code.

 “No!” Darius exclaimed, throwing a hand over her phone screen, “...At least, not yet.”

 “OK, let’s… take her home? Give her water, a blanket, put her in front of the fireplace, warm her up, but with a cold towel on her head, Netflix in one hand, popcorn in the oth—” Riya began listing off rapidly, marking them off on her fingers.

 “I don’t think she needs all of that just yet, Babe. Let’s focus on making sure she’s alive first, and then take her home… Wait, how are we gonna take her home? We walked it here and probably didn’t bring enough money for a taxi or the bus home! Shit.” Darius groaned, rubbing his hands over his face beneath his glasses.

 “Those driving lessons would’ve come in real handy, huh?” Riya said sadly, “Hang on, is that Logan over there? We can just ask him, right? I mean, he’s pretty much in love with Zafira, he’d do anything to make sure she was OK, wouldn’t he?”

 Darius looked at his girlfriend weirdly, “Really? Like that wouldn’t be overstepping any boundaries at all?”

 Riya threw her hands up in defense, “Like all boundaries weren’t dropped when he showed up outside school for Zafira?” she countered, looking at him pointedly.

 “...Good point… weird and stalkerish point, but still…” Darius sighed, folding one arm and holding his chin with the other, scrutinising Logan.

 Ximena looked up in that moment and noticed the two facing their table, looking at Logan specifically. “Hey, Logan, are those your friends or just some… creepy kids?” She asked, jutting her chin towards the two, confused. Neither of them seemed to notice, too lost in their inner turmoil.

 Logan looked in their direction and frowned, “Those are… Zafira’s friends? What are they doing here?”

 Riya snapped out of her reverie and noticed the entire table now looking towards them. “Crap!” she hissed under her breath, before shoving Darius towards the crew.

 Darius made some incoherent noises in dispute but by the time he was done, he was in front of Logan with Riya’s hand firm on his back. He looked over his shoulder at her, widening his eyes with irritation while Riya gestured towards Logan with her eyes. Darius let out a long breath, pinching the bridge of his nose while turning towards the table. By then, they had all stopped eating and instead focused on the weird pair stood in front of them.

 “Hey, uh… Logan, Riya here, is… proposing...” Darius trailed off, trying to figure out which of his eyes to look into and instead focusing on a spot between them. There was a long silence while everyone stared at Darius, waiting for him to continue, including Riya who was watching him with the most bewildered look.

 “...Proposing? To Logan? That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard!” Colt broke the silence with a scoff, before he threw his head back, dissolving into laughter, “Who’d want to be with this loser, he’d probably smother you with his teen angst before you could get another word in!” He cackled, shaking his head while wiping at the corner of his eyes, “Damn, that was a good one, I haven’t laughed like that in a long while.”

 Mona pressed her lips together to avoid laughing herself and Toby and Ximena side-eyed one another before turning away with smirks on their face. Logan narrowed his eyes at each of them before turning to Colt, “Are you done yet?”

 Colt grinned cheekily, “By all means, go ahead.”

 Logan rolled his eyes, turning back to Darius, “Go on.”

 “Riya… wants-you-to-drive-Zafira-home-because-she’s-sick-and-probably-dying-in-the-bathroom-like-none-of-us-can-drive-and-you’re-just-sat-here-so-like-yeah-anyway-like-I-said-she’s-probably-dying-so-she-needs-to-go-home-you-know-to-get-better-and-recover-from-whatever-the-hell-just-happened-wouldn’t-you-rather-she-die-at-home-instead-of-in-a-Wendy’s-bathroom-like-c’mon-a-Wendy’s-bathroom-of-all-places-how-sad-like-wouldn’t-it-be-a-lot-nicer-if-she-died-at-home-or-something-not-that-I-want-her-to-die-but… yeah. So yeah.” Darius said as quickly as he could in one breath. He coughed into his fist and put his hands on his hips. “Right, my job here is done.” He stated with a nod of his head before turning around and marching resolutely into the ladies’ bathroom. Logan stared after him with his mouth agape, along with everyone else at the table. Riya stared at the swinging door of the bathroom before turning back towards Logan.

 Toby looked between the now still door of the bathroom and Riya, “Did he just walk into the—”

 “Ladies’ bathroom? Yeah.” Riya interrupted with a sheepish smile. “Sorry if we’re overstepping, but, like, we really wouldn’t be asking unless it was completely necessary, like, Zafira was literally about to die, like, you should’ve seen her face, you know what, she could actually be on the floor right now, drowning in her own vomit.”

 Once again, there was complete silence at the table as they all stared at Riya. Mona raised a sharp eyebrow at her, “You know, saying Zafira’s drowning in her own vomit doesn’t make us any more likely to put her in our cars? It does the opposite. No matter how cute she is, I’m really not trying to get my seats stained in Wendy’s… Though, I would be willing to make an exception for Zafira, you know, I don’t want her to die in her own vomit, that would just be too tragic.” She mulled, twirling her straw around in a milkshake.

 Before anyone could get another word in, the crew’s phones all pinged simultaneously and they exchanged a tense look before Ximena picked up her phone first. “It’s from Kaneko…” she trailed off.

 “Need 4 of you at the garage in 10 mins, got 5 potential buyers lined up for a range of Mercedez-Benz 190 SL roadsters…” Mona started.

 “Let me guess, I’m not included in that ‘4’, huh?” Colt rolled his eyes, slouching in his seat while sipping his drink.

 “Colt, it’s the same gang we dealt with last time in the Mall, the ones that brought guns, so I don’t want you around them. Come back when the deal is done, until then, I don’t know, go hang out with that girl that you, Logan and Mona can’t seem to stop fighting over.” Toby finished with a shocked expression, “Is that, Boss, poking fun and bantering around? I never thought I’d see the day.” Toby whispered in amazement, adjusting his glasses and rereading the text message. Ximena grinned and looked at the three in question.

 Colt seemed shocked upon the last part of the message, his expression not going unmissed by the rest of the gang. Logan and Mona raised an eyebrow, looking at Colt with intrigue before he quickly schooled his features and turned away, clearing his throat. “I could’ve done those deals just as well as the next person,” he grumbled.

 “You should count yourself lucky, your dad’s trying to keep you safe and instead sending us into the line of fire,” Logan said with a shake of his head, “Thank your lucky stars.”

 “Yeah, yeah, I’ll count them when I see ‘em.” Colt rolled his eyes.

 “Really? Well, considering you’re going to be the one driving Zafira back, you should be getting ready to count them when you see her.” Mona said slyly with a smirk.

 In that moment, Riya realised that they were all somehow acquainted with Zafira, making a mental note to ask her about them later.

 Colt gaped at Mona as he opened and closed his mouth repeatedly, “I-I have no idea what you’re talking about,” he said dismissively, choosing to stuff a handful of chips in his mouth to avoid more conversation.

 “Sure.”

 Colt narrowed his eyes at her as the rest of the crew stood up, getting ready to leave. Riya stood there watching them leave, confused as to what was going on.

 Logan turned towards her and offered a sheepish smile, “I’m sorry, I can’t make it, I’ve gotta head back,” he said while rubbing the back of his neck, “looks like Colt will be the one driving her back, is that OK? You know, if you really want me to take her I can—“

 “No, no! It’s fine, wouldn’t want you to get into trouble with your, uh, boss or anything…” Riya said quickly.

 “Let us know how Zafira feels, Colt.” Ximena said, patting his shoulder. The crew began walking out, minus Colt, who was left in the booth staring into his drink absentmindedly.

 “Yeah, if she’s not feeling any better, maybe we can drop by with some fancy meds and a gift basket or something,” said Toby, raising his eyebrows in excitement, as he slipped into Ximena’s car.

 “OK, first of all, I don’t know why you’re excited about that, second of all, great idea, let’s just, us, the Mercy Park Crew, drop by Zafira’s house, where a cop resides.” Mona said sarcastically, as she unlocked the door of her own car.

 Toby pouted, “Damn, I forgot about that.”

 “C’mon, we’ll have to worry about Zafira later, it’s already been 5 minutes and you know how Kaneko hates it when someone’s late.” Logan said, sliding into his seat and sticking the keys in the ignition.

 Back in the ladies’ bathroom, Zafira was surprised to see Darius walk in, who quickly threw his hands over his eyes. “Zafira, you in here? Look if you’re dying on the floor, drowning in your own vomit, then let me know, otherwise I’m keeping my hands on my eyes because I’d hate to look like a pervert or something, ya know?”

 Zafira gaped at him before she let out a confused laugh, “Uh, Darius, what are you doing in here?”

 “I came to see how you were feeling but also because I just told Logan that he should take you home because you’re not feeling well… so, let’s go, I’d hate for you to to meet your ending here in the bathroom.”

 “Wait, what? You asked Logan? Why would you do that? Where did he even come from? I don’t need him to take me home, I can just wal—“ Zafira cut off with a heave, slapping her hand over her mouth and gripping the edge of the sink.

 Darius removed his hands and quickly stood next to her, placing a hand on her back. “...You were saying? Look, just let him take you home and then you complain all you want back there, sound good?”

 Zafira nodded her head miserably as Darius guided her out of the bathroom.

 Thankfully for Riya, she saw Darius and Zafira make their way out of the bathroom before she felt the need to initiate small talk with the brooding Colt.

 Darius steered Zafira to the table while she sighed, rubbing a hand over her face.

 “Hang on, where’d everyone go? Where’s Logan?” Darius asked, looking around the diner confused.

 “Colt? ...Don’t tell me the entire gang was here and we didn’t even know.” Zafira said with a laugh.

 “...Wow. You look like you’ve been through hell.” Colt stated, looking at Zafira with slightly veiled worry.

 “Thanks, it was really hot back there.” Zafira deadpanned.

 Colt laughed and stood up. “C’mon, let’s get you home before you vomit all over my shoes.”

 Zafira raised a brow and then leaned forward towards Colt, faking a dry heaving sound.

 “Whoa, whoa, whoa! Not on the shoes! Not the shoes!” Colt yelled, jumping back onto the booth and backing away.

 Zafira moved back before she burst out laughing, slapping her thigh. “Your face! Phew, that was a classic!” She wiped at the corners of her eyes as her giggles died down.

 “You little…” Colt shook his head, folding his arms while glaring at Zafira. The waitress walked over and gave Colt a look.

 “Could you please get off the booth, people sit in those.” Justine said before putting a hand on her hip, “I’d hate to have to call my manager out for this.”

 Colt quickly jumped down and brushed himself off. “Sorry about that,” he said, coughing into his fist awkwardly, “Right, let’s go.”

 He speed walked out of the diner and the trio quickly followed. On their way out, they passed a couple that were sat in the outdoor eating area, with one of them feeding the other that had their eyes closed. “Damien!” The lady called out, laughing while putting her hand over his eyes, “You’re supposed to guess by the taste, stop trying to peek! Stop trying to smell it too!”

 “Khadi,” the man called Damien complained, placing his hand over hers and trying to pull it away, “this is too hard, let me be the one feeding you and you’ll see how hard it is!” He laughed, finally managing to free his eyes. He gasped upon seeing the piece in Khadi’s hand. “See! I knew it was a cookie!”

 “Yeah, obviously! But you didn’t know which one, so your punishment is not getting the rest of it.” She stated proudly, popping the rest of it in her mouth while Damien watched in horror.

 Zafira smiled to herself. Cute, she thought. But her smile dropped when she saw Colt’s motorbike. “Hang on, you’re taking me home on that?” She paled, placing a hand on her stomach, “That doesn’t sound like a such a good idea…”

 Darius and Riya watched her with worry, and even Colt frowned.

 “I would love to indulge in your car fantasies, which, on any other day, I would absolutely hate, but seeing as we have no other way of getting you home, the bike is the only option… Unless you want me to carry you all the way home.” Colt said, raising an eyebrow at Zafira.

 Zafira furrowed her brow and sighed, “Fine, motorbike it is,” she turned to her friends, “I take it you’ll walk it?” she asked.

 Darius and Riya nodded, “Don’t worry about us, you just focus on getting home in one piece.” Darius said sympathetically, patting Zafira’s shoulder.

 “Yeah, in one piece that isn’t covered in vomit, please.” Colt added, swinging his leg over the bike and pulling his helmet on.

 Zafira rolled her eyes and waved her friends off, “See ya later, yeah?” She jumped onto the bike behind Colt, taking the spare helmet from his hands and strapping herself in. “Hey, Colt, pull over to the side of the road when I give you a sign, unless you want chicken sandwich all the way down your back.” She laughed.

 Colt rolled his eyes for what felt like the hundredth time even though Zafira couldn’t see. “...You’re, OK though, right? Not thinking about dying anytime soon?” He asked hesitantly.

 “Why? Would you miss me?” Zafira teased.

 “Of course.” Colt said, without missing a beat.

 Zafira’s eyes widened as she slid her arms around his waist, feeling the bike start up. She stared at the back of his helmet in shock, waiting for him to continue.

 “Who else would talk shit about Logan with me?” Colt said. Zafira could practically hear the smile in his voice.

 There it is, she thought while shaking her head, what were you hoping for, you fool.

 Colt began driving out of the diner and down the path he knew a little too well now, trying not to pay attention to how Zafira’s arms were wrapped around him.

 It was only halfway through the journey when Colt felt a few rapid taps on his shoulder. He frowned, before realising this was one of Zafira’s ‘signs’ and quickly looked for an opportunity to pull up to the side of the road.

 As soon as he’d found a spot, Zafira was all but jumping off the bike and unfastening her helmet. She knew she’d hate to vomit all over someone’s lawn or a public walkway in general, so she pressed her lips together and couldn’t help but thank her lucky stars when she saw a bin sitting a few yards away, running over to the poor, unsuspecting thing.

 As she hurled more of her meal out, Colt hurriedly parked the bike and rushed over to Zafira’s side. He blanked once he got to her and decided he would hold her hair back instead of standing around like a lamppost.

 With his free hand, he poked about in his pockets looking for any tissues or anything else that would help the situation but fell short and instead chose to rub her back instead.

 “Better out than in, am I right?” He said halfheartedly, frowning as she began taking deep breaths.

 “Right, you’re probably not in the best position to be speaking right now, I’ll just let you vomit to your heart’s content.” He winced as she heaved once more and then stood up straight.

 Thankfully, Zafira had managed to nab some napkins before she’d left so she managed to clean herself up as best she could. “What the fuck was in that burger that’s making me so cough up my insides so violently?! Do I need to sue these little shits.” Zafira exclaimed, putting her hands on her hips and blowing some hair out of her face.

 Colt couldn’t help but smile and zone out for a second. How cute.

 “Hello? Earth to Colt? Are you in there?”

 “Yeah, I was just thinking about how cute you look, you know, all sweaty, hair a mess, red in the face.”

 Zafira gaped at him, “I… wha—?”

 Colt smirked at her, “Cat got your tongue?”

 Zafira narrowed her eyes, “You just wait until you catch me on a good day, ‘cute’ won’t even cover how good I look, and the cat will have your tongue.” She said, flipping her hair as best as she could over her shoulder.

 Now it was Colt’s turn to gape at her, but he managed to recover enough to raise an eyebrow and have his charms back intact, “Well then, it’s a good thing that every other day is your good day, huh? Maybe that’s why I’m always so speechless whenever I first see you.” Colt slid his hands into his pockets, pinning her with that mesmerising look.

 Zafira’s mouth opened and soon enough a bright pink blush had made its way onto her face. She stared into his dark eyes and found herself captivated, unable to break the gaze. “Are you… flirting with me right now?”

 “Maybe.”

 “Unbelievable.”

 Colt managed to snap out of whatever he was preoccupied with and stared at her, somewhat confused.

 “You’re really trying to charm a girl when she’s at her most vulnerable state, right after she vomited up a Wendy’s, knowing that she’ll have no choice but to get back on that bike with you, and have you drive her home where you’ll probably hint at wanting to be invited in.”

 Colt gawked at Zafira, rendered speechless. “What?! I never—“

 “I can’t believe you, Colt,” Zafira put her hands on her hips, “You’re an incorrigible flirt, just who do you think you are?”

 “Whoa, hang on a minute! You’ve got the wrong end of the stick—“

 Zafira gasped in horror, her hands flying up to her mouth, “You were trying to give me your stick?!” She almost screeched.

 Colt threw his hands up in defence, taking a step back as his mouth dropped open in shock. Then he narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms again. “You’re fucking around with me, aren’t you?”

 Zafira presses her lips together, a snort coming out against her will. “Sorry, you’re just too easy to play around with.” She burst out in full blown laughter, smacking her thigh.

 Colt sighed, rubbing a hand over his face. “What am I gonna do with you?”

 “I can think of a few things.” Zafira smiled coyly.

 It was Colt’s turn to blush as his expression went slack. “You’re gonna be the death of me, you know that?”

 Zafira laughed, “C’mon, Lover Boy, you still need to take me home.”

 …

 It was when they were outside the Wheeler residence that Zafira once again felt that familiar lurching feeling in her stomach, “Oh no…” she moaned, unfastening the helmet as fast as she could for a second time that day. This time, Colt was slightly more prepared and he’d already parked the bike and dismounted it.

 “Let’s get you inside, I don’t think anyone wants to see a girl projectile vomiting right about now.” Colt chuckled, wrapping one arm around her back and ushering her inside. But it was too late, Zafira felt the familiar burning of the acid in her throat and was heaving out small neutral coloured bits onto Colt’s shoes faster than she could tell Colt where the keys were.

 There was a silence after Zafira had stopped hurling out her meal or rather, what was left of it.

 “...” Colt blinked a couple of times, almost unseeingly.

 “...Guess you no longer want to come in and give me your stick, huh?” Zafira said for no reason, with a weak laugh. She straightened up and pressed her hand to her face, trying to wipe away whatever had stained her mouth.

 Colt stared at her for a few seconds before he burst out laughing. Zafira was shocked and slowly joined in, not caring how they must’ve looked to passersby.

 “I can’t… I can’t believe you just... brought up the stick again... after you just threw up on me.” Colt said in between laughs.

 Zafira’s laughter dissolved away and all she could do was stare at Colt’s shoes sympathetically, rather embarrassed.

 “Those shoes, they didn’t cost much did they? This is awful, I’m so sorry.” She moaned, squeezing her eyes shut and dropping her head back.

 “It’s fine, nothing that sweet, illegal money can’t fix.” Colt joked with a wink.

 “Colt!” Zafira gasped, looking around furtively, “You can’t just say stuff like that out loud!”

 “Why, will your dad appear out of nowhere if I say ‘illegal’ three times? No wait, maybe I should rub a briefcase full of a couple million dollars and then say it.” He wondered, putting his free hand on his chin and rubbing it thoughtfully.

 Zafira shook her head and laughed, “Will you shut up?”

 He grinned as they stared at each other again. It’s really quite easy to get lost in those eyes, Zafira thought, damn.

 Zafira cleared her throat and looked away, fiddling around in her pockets to pull out the keys, but not without Colt catching that lovely pink blush on her face again. He smiled contently.

 “Is your dad home?”

 “No…why, you tryna give me some of that stick action?” Zafira wiggled her eyebrows up and down.

 Colt pressed his lips together to avoid laughing. “We’re never gonna let that one go, are we?”

 “Nope.” Zafira grinned.

 Colt shook his head, “I was asking because I was looking forward to stealing that apple pie.”

 Zafira sighed dramatically, “Even in a cop’s household, you can’t let go of your criminal behaviour.”

 Colt narrowed his eyes, “You know, for the daughter of a cop, you’re awfully close to us criminals.”

 “What can I say? I’m attracted to the dark side.” She joked, removing herself from his hold and guiding them inside. She took off her shoes and suddenly stopped, remembering Colt’s burger covered shoes. “Right, uh, give me your shoes, wait, and your jeans, I think I got those covered too.”

 “Wow, you like to move fast, huh?”

 “Shut up!” she slapped his shoulder, “You know what I mean!”

 “Do I, though? Do I really?”

 Zafira put her hands on her hips, “Hand over your things before I decide to shower you in chicken bits.”

 “Yes, Ma’am.” Colt grinned cheekily, as he kicked off his shoes and moved to unbuckle his belt, all while maintaining eye contact. 

 Zafira’s eyes widened, and she rapidly began turning pink once again, “I’ll, uh, go find some trousers while you, uh, yeah.”

 “Oh, so now you’re shy. What happened to wanting the stick?” He teased.

 “Not another word out of you, Colt.” She pointed at him, with narrowed eyes as she walked backwards. Colt saluted her with a wink.

 Once Zafira was no longer within his sight and safely in the bathroom with a change of clothes, she placed a hand on her chest and took a deep breath in. What the hell is going on?! She shook her head and quickly washed up, throwing her clothes in the hamper and changing into a tank top and sweats. She looked at herself in the mirror and halfheartedly tied her hair up in a bun. “Yeah, this is fine. I’m not making an effort for no one, this is… fine.” She tried to reassure herself, dusting herself off absentmindedly.

 “Hey, uh, Zafira? Are you really finding me some clothes right now or was this just part of your ulterior motive to get me half naked in the middle of your living room?” Colt yelled.

 Zafira’s eyes widened and she hurried out of the bathroom into her father’s room, grabbing the first pair of combat trousers she saw. “Wow,” she scoffed, “how fitting.”

 She raced back into the living room with one hand over her eyes. “I’m here, I’m here! Don’t be doing any weird half-naked things!”

 Zafira held the trousers out in front of her, keeping her other hand firm over her eyes. When she felt him grab them from her hand, she spun around, giving him her back.

 “Let me know when you’re done.”

 “You scared of seeing a little thigh, Zafira?”

 “No,” she said firmly, “I’m giving you privacy, you know, because I have manners?”

 Colt laughed and after some more rustling sounds, he called out to her.

 “Are you sure? I don’t trust you…” said Zafira.

 “Yes, I’m sure. Why don’t you come over here and check?”

 Zafira turned around with her eyes still closed. She slowly opened one and then the other, relieved to find him fully clothed. “Right, I’ll just, throw these in the washer and get them back to you as fast as I can. I don’t know about those shoes though…” She trailed off, looking concerned at the now chicken covered shoes.

 “Relax,” Colt chuckled, “I’ll just, wash them… and then… donate them or recycle them somehow. Yeah. Maybe I’ll keep them, you know, as your first gift to me, Zafira vomit.”

 Zafira scrunched up her nose, “Ew! No! Don’t do that… wait, what do you mean ‘first gift’?”

 “Exactly what it sounds like. Were you not inviting me back here to tell me you have a huge crush on me?”

 Zafira’s jaw dropped, “I do not have a huge crush on you!”

 “Oh, my bad,” Colt frowned, “it’s just a small crush then?”

 Zafira pinched the bridge of her nose, “What am I gonna do with you?”

 Colt grinned, “This is beginning to feel a lot like déjà vu, don’t you think?”

 Zafira shook her head with a small smile as she gingerly picked up the trousers and went to the utility room after dropping by the hamper. Once she’d started the wash, she slowly walked out into the living room where Colt was now gazing at her family photos. “You’re still here?”

 Colt looked up at the sound, “Where else would I go?”

 Zafira shrugged, looking out of the window to find the sky bathed in a warm orange, “I don’t know, home.”

 “This place feels more like home to me right now…” he murmured.

 Zafira bit her lip and looked around, desperate for a distraction of some sort. “Well, what better time to watch movies illegally than with a criminal by your side, right?”

 She bounded over to the couch and pulled out her laptop from under some books as Colt watched her, amused. He slowly walked over and sat down next to her, wondering how he got so lucky to have someone like her in his life.

 “Thank you.”

 “For what?” Zafira asked, turning her head to him.

 “Well, for cleaning me up I guess,” he laughed quietly, “but also for giving me… a home of sorts. I can’t believe I’ve felt more love in this household than I have in my entire 20 years of living as Kaneko’s son. Is your dad looking to adopt any time soon?” Colt joked halfheartedly.

 “Well, if you stick around, maybe he’ll take you in as his son-in-law.” Zafira said, turning back to the laptop with a small smile on her face.

 Colt’s face warmed as his mouth opened in shock, “Was that... an indirect proposal just now?”

 “Maybe.” She winked at him, focusing on picking a movie and smirking at his red, shell shocked face.

I know you like her but just give me this, if they WERE “flirty like that” wouldn’t we be seeing the same thing coming from Colby? Looks like hes not like that with her at all UNLESS hes face shit drunk. In which case hes like that with everyone. my main issue is that some of you guys make it seem as if there is some deep motive behind every. single. thing. she. posts. whether it's her posting a tweet, liking one, liking a comment, posting a tiktok, posting a insta pic, a story, a snapchat, whatever, yall immediately make it seem like there is something deeper going on when in reality she's probably just posting bc she wanted to, and that's it. it's probably as simple as that. there isn't some master plan behind every move she makes so that eventually everyone in the fandom will be shipping her and colby. at least i don't believe there is. and if you do, cool. that's great. we're just not in the same boat and that's fine.

the only reason i argue back with some of these asks is bc, again, the motive aspect. some of you guys have a picture in your heads of what she's doing and you're expecting me to be on the same page, when i'm not. which is why i disagree. has she done some questionable things? sure. i can agree to that. has she done some things that egg on shippers? again, i can agree to that.

tbh liking toby is nbd to me, but stans really make me hate him when they push other characters down (& make them OOC so that they can bash them) and cherrypick a few approved charas and make their entire narrative abt tiny stork eg peter, bucky in winteiron, nebula etc. u can like who you like but when u start to act superior bc of it and twist everything to make it fit then its really annoying AND disrespectful to all the other charas that were twisted in service of it

Absolutely, I don’t care if someone likes Tony, more power to them - or when they say he’s their favourite character - whatever. I’m not going to argue or tell them they’re wrong or whatever. Even what they do in their own fics and headcanons I can mostly ignore (if they would keep it in their own tags and in their own posts). What bothers me are their attempts to police the way you interact with this specific character while throwing other characters, their storylines and characterisations under the bus to make him look good.

Personally, I can even ignore the whole ooc-ness of most of their fics bc I don’t read Töny-centric content (unless I’m in a hate-reading, masochistic mood), but it becomes a problem for me when - 

a) They attach their stuff to other people’s posts, particularly my posts and I know I cannot respond to it bc if I tell them that I don’t care about Töny and what they did is rude and often offensive to other fans, I’m going to get angry anons (which is why I have made a side-blog among other reasons).

b) They are trying to systematically police how you got to interact with their fave. And if you don’t do it in a way they like - or even when you straight up say you don’t like Töny- they become really obnoxious. For example, I have a few roleplay blogs and one character literally and canonically hates Töny Smurf for very good reasons. And when I post ic about this character not liking Töny Snurk I often get aggressive ooc responses from Töny roleplayers or sad replies like “Why would you hate him :((((((”. If you can’t stand a character who doesn’t like Töny, maybe don’t follow a blog who has a lot of reasons to dislike him. They just expect me to write ooc to make Töny look good.

If I said on my main for example I don’t like Stephen Strange, no Strange fan would come into my inbox and lecture me. Meanwhile, people I like and I am friends with will posts stuff like: “Haha if you don’t like this cinnamon roll (154 pics of Tundra) unfollow me.” I don’t understand why this is so normalised in relation to this particular character.

c) They often do problematic af shit in their quest to make Töny look good. I don’t care if they make everyone ooc and write the ultimate Töny power fantasies as long as they tag it like that and leave me alone with their bullshit. But there are things that “I want to make other characters look bad” doesn’t cover. And I’m not even talking about ignoring his history of violence and sexual harassment. I once looked through the pro-Töny Töny/T’Challa fics and it has so. much. racism. in it. I’ve seen stuff like T’Challa as a slave in the USA and Töny as his white saviour master, I’ve seen Töny become the king of Wakanda, I’ve seen T’Challa being astonished and mind = blown when Töny risks his life o save one of T’Challa’s subjects - and T’Challa tells him he shouldn’t have done it. Wtf?

Same with Wanda. I often wish I knew more about Roma culture to make headcanons and fics about it to make up for Disney’s white washing of Pietro’s and Wanda’s characters - meanwhile these demons have nothing better to do than ignore canon to call two Jewish Roma (who are children of two Holocaust survivors) Nazis. Or they write stuff where the villains (including actual Nazis) sympathise about how horrible the “heroes” are, which is effectively Nazi apologism. Also the whole “mindrape” stuff. Wanda did not rape anyone. Then their quest to have Töny adopt adult women (especially Nebula whose entire storyline is about reclaiming freedom and agency after escaping an abusive adoptive father and creating a family of equals) or children who have families. stop that. Especially when it’s Shuri - bc reminder: having a white guy take a child from a healthy black African family and justify it bc he’s such a good father - that’s also racist.

These are the things that bother me. I once went into detail that I could even like Töny if fanon and canon would address his flaws and have him work on them. But the fandom culture surrounding him is toxic af and we need to address that too.

(I had a bible written here about the political situation in spain because I felt chatty but OF COURSE my laptop had to freeze and I lost everything I had written lol)

Anyways, gonna give a kick summary of spanish politics

- Up until 2015, spanish only had two main political parties: PP (right wingers) and PSOE (started as socialists, now they’re centrists)

- Before the 2015 elections, two other big parties showed up: Ciudadanos/C’s (like I said on the other post, self identified liberals and centrists, actually fascism with a touch of progresism masked up as a cool thing for younger people) and Podemos (sociodemocrats)

- Ciudadanos is lead by Albert Rivera. They were nobodies in Catalonia until the independence thing, and they started to get popular because they defended the unity of Spain, opposed to independentism and anything that isn’t ESPAÑÑÑÑÑOL enough for them, and want to impose the spanish language and culture over all the other cultures and different languages and traditions we have all over the country (which btw there are A LOT bc Spain is super diverse, we have 4 official recognised languages and many more non-recognised ones).

- C’s is basically a fearmongering party, whose main voters are

- All in all, they’re just ultranationalists, closer to fascism than centrism and that have just started using feminism and LGTB as a way to look more “progressive” when literally every body single person knows that they hate women and sexual minorities just as much as any other right wing party

And this might not even make sense since you’re not from spain and familiar with its politics, but even before I decided to check his follow list, he always gave me this “frat boy” type of vibes. Like, for example, how much he uses the spanish flag EVERYWHERE. Using the spanish flag here has always been a taboo thing (except during international football matches lol). If you come to Spain, and see someone with a spanish flag bracelet, or has the spanish flag anywhere on their bodies/cars/wtv, run away from them because they’re fascists. And Carlos even makes his dog wear a spanish flag collar lol

I also just found this trying to find a pic of his dog, that’s someone asking him if he got that dog because he hunts, or only because he liked the breed, and he answered “both!” (big big big big big big yikes from me dawg)

he also has a huge spanish flag hanged on his room (like who the fuck does that lmaooo) and during the Catalunya GP (two? years ago) when the independence thing was wayy more relevant and things in spain were very rocky politically because of it (and many other things), he posed with the spanish flag, and when people gave him shit about it, he came out saying that “theres nothing wrong with being proud of your country and showing our flag”, months after hundreds of catalans were beaten up by the police, a group of gang rapists got freed from jail, while another group of Vasque people are still on jail after being accused of terrorism for a bar fight. Totally reasons to be proud of this country!! Wow Viva España you guys

J2G Works Charm Review

HEY kind of random but I tried out a different charm manufacturer recently! I haven’t seen any reviews for this manufacturer so I thought I’d talk a bit about my experience. The manufacturer is called J2G Works, and they’re based in Singapore. Here’s their website:

Since this was a sort of test-run, I only ordered J2G Works’s minimum quantity of 5 charms at 6 cm. I did double-sided printing with some custom parts without a layer of white between the front and back to give a transparent-color look. I also ordered double acrylic charms, but received single acrylic charms. I’ll talk a bit about the printing mix-up first.

Acrylic Printing Mistake

So the first thing I wanna get out of the way is that they messed up the kind of charm I ordered. The charms I ordered were supposed to be double acrylic, meaning the image is sandwiched between 2 pieces of acrylic. This is more expensive and protects the image from fading or getting scratched. Vograce is the only other manufacturer I know of who does double acrylic, but I’ve had difficulties with Vograce in the past so I was excited to try double acrylic out with a different manufacturer!

However, when my charms arrived it seems they sent me single acrylic charms instead, with the image printed on the back of one sheet of acrylic. This is how places like Zap! Creatives and Acorn Press do their charms. You can see that my charms aren’t double acrylic from this pic:

Notice how there’s only one piece of acrylic, and no indication of the img being sandwiched between two pieces of acrylic. To compare, here’s what the side view of a double acrylic charm (that I got from a zine) looks like:

On double acrylic charms you should be able to see where the two pieces of acrylic meet. The charms I ordered didn’t have this. Plus I could feel the matte texture of the printed image on the back side like I do w/ Zap! Creative and Acorn Press charms.

I’m used to selling these charms so it’s not a big deal, but it was still disappointing + I paid the extra price for the double acrylic... I’ve emailed them, but I’m still waiting to hear back about getting some sort of compensation/refund for this mistake.

BUT YEAH NOW THAT THAT’S OUT OF THE WAY, l’ll talk a bit about the details working w/ J2G.

Packaging

Something that was interesting to me was that the charms came individually packaged in little plastic bags! This was a nice detail and saves the trouble of bagging them for whoever I would sell them to later. The charms also come with a protective film on the front and back that should be peeled:

The protective film on the front is v noticeable and easy to take off, but the one on the back is a more transparent, thicker plastic that’s a bit harder to take off. It’s also not totally noticeable, so I have a feeling that customers who buy my charms may not take off the back film if I give the charm as I’ve received them from J2G Works... so I guess in that sense having them individually packaged could be a hassle if you wanna take the films off before giving them to customers, but eh I think it’s a neat touch.

As also pictured above, it also comes with a keyring already attached. You can e-mail to order charms without the keyring if you want to attach your own (phonestraps/etc) but the keyring comes attached at no additional cost.

Minimum Quantity/Pricing/Shipping

J2G Works’s mimimum order quantity is 5 charms at $1.91 USD per single acrylic charm (aka the kind of printing that Zap and Acorn Press does). The default charm size is 6 cm (approx 2.4 inches). Considering the low order quantity and the relatively large size, I think this is a great deal! Zap’s minimum order quantity for 2″ acrylic charms is 25, while Acorn Press’s minimum order is 10. They don’t offer any bulk discounts of orders less than 100 charms, but I think the price is still reasonable for those who want to order in small quantities at a time.

Also, I’m not sure if J2G would split the minimum order of 5 between different designs... their website just says “minimum purchase 5″ and has a location for uploading one file for that order, so probably not. But still, for someone like me who gets worried about ordering in bulk and selling charms bc I don’t do conventions that frequently, being able to order charms at 5 charms per design is useful. 

The only downside about pricing and ordering in small quantities is that since they’re Singapore-based and I’m US-based, shipping is v expensive. My charm order for the double acrylic charms was around $12, but the shipping was around $30. The shipping isn’t so bad if you add more things to your order (they offer a lot of other services) but it’s definitely not ideal if you only want to order a small quantity of items.

Template/Customization

Based on my past experiences with Zap! and Acorn Press, I thought customization was kind of a hassle with J2G. Here’s what J2G’s Template looks like:

The way their template works is that you literally put the front and back of your charm in the boxes, and that’s it. It’s really straightforward for people who just want acrylic charms of their art, but it makes it difficult for those who want to customize how the charms are printed and cut.

Unless you email them, they do the cut-line and loop hole themselves. I can definitely see this being a problem for people who want to put multiple loops and non-silhouette cuts for their charms. I’m not really sure what the protocol for customizing the cut would be, but I’m guessing you’d have to email them and put the desired cut on a different layer like one would w/ Zap’s or Acorn Press’s templates.

Their template also doesn’t have any indication of where the white in between the front and back layers should go. I asked J2G over email what I should do if I wanted transparent-colored parts of the charm (which is what I wanted for the roses), and they told me to put the transparent-color parts on a separate layer from the opaque-color parts. 

Anyway, I think this style of template is definitely nice for those who don’t have much experience with setting up charm files, but for those of us who are used to setting up files I can see doing charm customization via email correspondence as a negative part of the ordering process.

Printing Quality

I’m gonna go through a couple things one by one, but as a summary I’d compare their printing quality to Acorn Press. (And I like Acorn’s charms, so overall I’d say that’s a plus)

Colors Like with most manufacturers, the colors are a bit darker and duller than the colors on my computer. One nice thing that I noticed is that the white parts are pure white, unlike the white parts in Zap charms (which are usually a little grainy). Here’s how the white looks on J2G charms:

Notice the white in the eyes doesn’t have any grains in it. On the other hand, here’s a Zap charm:

Here, you can see in the eyes and teeth that the white isn’t pure white. 

This isn’t a huge deal bc it’s not noticeable from far away, but it’s something that’s always bothered me about Zap’s printing, ahaha. 

Double-Sided Printing From what I can tell, the double-sided printing doesn’t have as opaque of a white layer in between as Zap’s charms. Here’s the back-view of the J2G charm in slightly-strong natural lighting:

The front of the charm is pretty clearly visible on the back of the charm. Here’s how double-sided printing from Zap looks in comparison:

I don’t see the other side of the charm almost at all here. If I hold it against a strong light it becomes visible:

The back is VERY visible against a light for the j2g charm, tho:

That may just be because the back has a lot of dark colors against the light parts of the front. 

The colors are actually opaque enough imo, it’s really only noticeable against semi-strong light, especially from the back view. Here’s what the front looks like in the more neutral lighting:

I think what’s mostly making the front show through on the back is the texture, which is what I’ll talk a bit about now.

Texture Kind of an annoying thing is that the texture of the front is very visible on the back. It’s like this weird embossed texture on the spots where the front and back don’t align? Here’s a pic that can maybe show how the texture is weirdly embossed:

It’s most visible in strong lighting, but you can feeling just by running your fingers over it. :T I’ve bought charms that have this texture on it before tho, so it’s not a huge deal... I don’t have any double-sided Acorn Press charms, but I think it’s Acorn Press that has this oddly textured finish. You can kind of see it on this single-sided charm I made thru Acorn Press:

People still buy charms like this so it’s not a super big deal, but I just prefer a less textured finish on charms. I think it distracts less from the back image on the charm, too. This might’ve been solved if J2G gave me the double acrylic charms like I ordered, but I’m not sure. :T But yeah, this was the main issue I had with the printing.

Customer Service

For me, I found the customer service to be very friendly and flexible! Like I noted throughout, I had some customized parts for the charm and they were very accommodating and polite about that. They normally respond in about 1 business day, but it depends...? I think they actually have 24 hour customer service (?!) which is wild... they once sent me an email at midnight Singapore time, ahaha. Communication was also never an issue, which I know can be a problem for people who use Vograce. (English is widely spoken in Singapore and I spoke in English in my emails, which was never a problem). 

Another nice thing about working with them is that it seems like they have a quality control aspect to their process or smth...? I used a chalky/fuzzy brush for this charm so they emailed me to let me know they didn’t think my lines would print well. (I told them I’ve printed w/ these lines before, so I would be fine with the quality.) That’s just a small thing, but idk it’s nice that they reach out to the customers abt printing concerns. 

Lastly, they also email you some pictures of the finished charms before shipping! I don’t know if they do that so you can voice any concerns before they ship, but idk I thought it was nice.

ANYWAY yeah that was my experience with them. Here’s a quick run-down of the pros and cons:

Pros:

Low minimum quantity (ideal for me personally)

very cheap price per unit, especially considering the charm size

comes with keyring attached

individually packaged

friendly and responsive customer service

relatively decent print quality

Cons:

messed up my order (single acrylic rather than double acrylic) which was kind of a bummer

template not very customizable

texture from front image visible on the back image

shipping is expensive

I think I’ll definitely use their services again because they have some other charm options that I’m interested in... but I’d only use them for the more straightforward charms rather than ones that need more specialized customization for cuts/loops/opaqueness. I’d also recommend ordering a minimum of 25 charms from them considering the shipping price. But yeah, overall I had a good experience with them and I think the charms are of the same quality as other charms I’ve seen sold at artist alleys. :^)

How exactly do you get started when roleolaying ? Like how to set it up

Hey there! I’ll let you know how I specifically set up a new blog. It’s different for everyone.

Sleep on it. This is a weird one. Whenever friends come to me asking if they should make a character, I like to tell them to sleep on the idea. A lot of times people pick up a character they may not understand or don’t know how to play, so when they actually make the blog, they feel sad and disappointed by their own writer’s block. I like to pine over the character first and create some headcanons so I already have a picture of the character in my head.

Aesthetic. Yeah, we all know I’m a slut for aesthetic, and this goes from the URL selection to the tagging format. 

URL. Personally, I’m partial to shorter URLs, and nothing too on-the-dot. For example, if making a Loki blog, I’m not too partial to something like ‘iamloki’ or ‘lokilaufeyson’ or something. I like a bit of imagination. Using the native language of the character, if it’s not English, is always cool. ‘misunne’ means envy in Norwegian. My Belle is ‘greatsomewhere’ from my favorite line of hers in her song Belle (reprise). Some of my favorite URL selections are Ryder’s skychose for Anakin (how Anakin chose to roam among the stars, and it’s a twist off of his last name), Annie’s guiltweathered for Tony (guilt is a big subject to Tony’s character, and the boi is tired), go on and so forth.

Theme. Now, this is where some people have a lot of dispute. So many say you don’t need to be overflowing with aesthetic to be a good RPer. I agree to a point. I consider your theme and aesthetic to be your blog’s handshake, and it’s really easy to make it cool. You can go full out like mine (Ryder made it for me) and design a background to fit around a theme. If you don’t have photoshop skills or you just don’t want to, minimalism is always in. This is why I think it’s easy to make your aesthetic look nice. Check out my Belle’s minimalist theme at @greatsomewhere . Clean, crisp, and white, with a pic describing her. Books! Easy. I like to get my themes from theme-hunter or just poking around my followers/mutuals’ theme makers.

Blog preview. Again, people trip up here. This is before your handshake. This is your first smile when you meet someone. Make it look nice. I like to make my mobile banners on photoshop with psds and whatnot (Loki’s current one is made by Ryder), but when I first started as Loki, I just wanted to get going, so I used something I found on Pinterest. Yep, that was literally it. It’s minimalist, drawing, and not too confusing. Do NOT make your preview colors anything but a neutral tone. I’ve seen bright blues, greens, pinks. I immediately click away, they hurt my eyes. Make sure your blog preview clearly says who your character is, what fandom they’re from, and your alias. This is the bare minimum. These things are required. I can’t tell you how many people I see around who have nothing at all. Don’t make your followers dig to see who your character is.

The blog itself. Again, you can be pretty simple here. A lot of people have fancy pop-ups, as do I, but it’s not necessary. Just making pages with links is good enough. You need to have a rules page, which needs to have the bare minimum of your age (18+ or minor is good enough), your alias, your pronouns, your triggers, and your interaction policy. Are you mutuals only? Are you open to non-mutuals? These are requirements. Beyond that, I like to have my thoughts on shipping (if you have a ship you will NOT do, or one that you love), mains/exclusivity (I’m never exclusive, but let people know if you will only play with one version of a character), and anything else you want your followers to know before interacting with you. I’m always editing my rules. Beyond your rules, if you’re an OC (or canon divergent canon character), have a detailed about page. It’s nice to have a verses (where you have the tags for all your different verses and AUs) and navigation (links to your open starters, meme tag, headcanon tag, etc) page. Then whatever else you want.

I list all the aesthetic things first because it’s best that your blog is at least SLIGHTLY finished before starting. I know you may be eager to start right away after making a URL, but I won’t follow a blog with nothing on it. If a blog is just the basic Tumblr theme, I’ll assume it’s a spam blog. We get a lot of those. I block spam blogs on sight.

Content. If a blog is all done up and pretty but with nothing on it, I won’t follow back right away. I may come back to look again later, but I may forget. Try to get some content on there first. Reblog your faceclaim, some aesthetic things, and maybe write a headcanon or two, just so people can see your formatting and writing pattern. Do you write in purple prose? Is your writing straight forward? Is it heavy with narrative? Is it mostly dialogue? Do you use icons? What kinds? There are always people who will write with different kinds of writing patterns, and always those who won’t. I like to make sure we have similar writing patterns before following.

Advertisement. After your blog is pretty and functional and you have some stuff on there, it’s time to let people know about it! Create a promo! These can be as simple or fancy as you want. When I first made Belle, I just wanted to get started, so I made one of those text promos that were popular a few months ago. I let people know I was still under construction, too. Just so they knew. Later when I put more time into it, I used one of the cool new templates that are going around, and I love them so much. I have photoshop, but I’m not good at it, and this is as easy as copy paste. 

Tags. How will people find you if you don’t have them? They’re so important! Personally, and I know a lot of people feel the same, I won’t follow people without some sort of tagging system. For promos, tag it with ways you would search in the Tumblr search engine for an RP blog. For Belle, I put things like ‘disney rp, disney roleplay, beauty and the beast rp, batb rp’, so on and so forth. For your average posting tags, I prefer to keep it simple. I have a tag for each verse, an in character and out of character tag, and I always tag the url of the person I’m reblogging in a reply. Making fancy url tags for your partners is cool, but ALWAYS leave their basic URL as well. If I go on my partner’s page and search my URL tag for my last reply but can’t find it bc it’s just a fancy one, I’m very annoyed.

Search! Same as above – go find people! Search the same tags you made, look for masterlists. Once you follow a few blogs you’re interested in, Tumblr recommends similar blogs, so I love eating those up.

Interact! People don’t really do intro starters anymore, like when someone follows you back and you make them a starter, but hey, you do you. It’s great to have a starter call out there (and reblog it a few times, like twice a day or so), as well as a sentence starter meme. Like people’s starter calls. Send them memes. Respect their rules. If they say they’re mutuals only, oblige. Don’t send them things if you’re not mutuals. (If you’re brand new, mutual means you follow them and they follow you.)

Have fun and don’t be discouraged! Making a new blog is hard. My Loki has something like 550 followers, Belle has something like 30. Depending on the character, the size of the fandom, a bunch of little things, it may take some time to get noticed. Don’t expect people to jump on you right away. It’s your job to reach out to them. Act like your blog already has a bunch of followers. I like to post jokes, headcanons, my feelings about my character, so when people follow or visit my blog, they see how passionate I am about my character and how much I’m thinking about them. People love to see you love your character. Don’t be negative. Do NOT post about how few followers you have, or how you’re not being noticed. I know it may be disappointing, but that sort of thing will only discourage them from following. Love your followers: thirty followers are just as beautiful as five hundred. They’ll keep coming. In the meantime, establishing great connections with the followers you do have will make it seem like you have a thousand. Make your blog a happy place to be! Make friends! There is always someone there who is interested.

@woojiniel and @perkwoojin are so so so pretty?? Idk but these were the first two I thought of!! They have such soft, sweet visuals and I think usually in groups the official visuals are the ones with the “stronger” visuals? @2hyeons Ying is more of an older sister type than the mom but she still gives off that caring vibe. She seems like the kind of sibling who barely talks to you because she’s stuck in her room all day doing work but she’ll also be there for you when you need it the most. Lowkey the kind of older sister who will call your cheating significant other over the phone just to scream at them and rat them out for hurting her little sibling loool. @hahasunqwoons! I think the ‘4D’ title really suits Summer even though she may not seem like it at first. But once she opens up to you, you’ll know what I mean looooool. the extremely under appreciated one

ummm @kiminguy??? @guanlliver??? @lovebugi??? @wanhyun??? (Mutuals on here and our SVT blogs squad!! LOOL) I love all of them and their graphics to death I will literally make a blog and reblog all of their creations 50 million times like they deserve. Of course they all have such cute personalities dlkgjfdkj but I’ll spare you from my rambling and focus on their beautiful works~ Naomi has such soft, pastel graphics (pastels are one of my fave things in the universe) and she was one of my first favorite graphic makers in the Seventeen fandom back in the day. I followed her first and then when she followed me back I was SOOOO HAPPY OMG BC ONE OF MY FAVES NOTICED ME. Next we have Yasmin and although we haven’t talked much I really adore her graphics because they’re really unique! She uses vibrant colors and dark colors so well (a thing I’d like to learn how to do hehehe) AND also pastel graphics with vibrant coloring… a jack of all trades tbh. Next, there’s Jaymee, who I’ve been mutuals with forever on our SVT blogs but I never really got a chance to talk to until recently! (And she’s the sweetest…my one and only fan….LOOOL). Once again she works with both dark colors and pastel colors very well! Her edits and graphics have a minimalistic approach to them which I admire so so much because I always cram stuff onto a canvas and get bothered when there’s empty space in my graphics. Last but not least there’s IMA!!! My self-proclaimed little sister c’: I’ve known her for most of her time in the Seventeen tumblr community and I love seeing how her works changed over this period of time. But her works always have that special charm and uniqueness that you know right away that it’s her work! No one could imitate her style and pull it off! Inimitable seventeen carat hehe Ima always has a special place in my heart. I love her coloring style, I love her graphics style, I love her. But yea as you can tell I have much love for graphic makers and more especially underrated graphic makers! Graphic makers are a blessing to each and every fandom. Thank you.

Favourite Book: i have different faves for different reasons... but one that has really wowed me was The Painted Man by Peter V. Brett because it’s so well written and kinda dark, dystopian almost (love dystopian universes btw) and it made me discover this amazing fantasy trilogy (that’s now I think a quintrilogy) and like 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves dark fantasies about a broken society fighting not only demons but also themselves
