how do conservatives think talking to children works? if a four year old came up to me and said “i’m a cat!!” i would say “really? what makes you a cat?” and they’d say some shit like “i have claws >:)” and i’d be like “oh wow, you do have claws. but wait, i thought cats had pointed ears!” and they’d say “they DO!!!” and then i’d pull up a picture of an elf and ask “is THIS a cat?” and they’d yell “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”

The homunculus chuckled a little at her question. There's no ill-intentions or mockery behind it. There is much he remembers. From the formation and his first conscious thought, to the experiments that his Master had put him through. All to see if the formation of artificial life - a different kind of vessel - could be made. While he wasn't sure of the full purpose outside of that.

"Most of what I remember is not pleasant."

There's a pause as he sets his paintbrush down, turning the easel around. During their conversation, he had been painting. His subject this entire time? Her. He asked before hand, and told her to act natural. He could adapt the work with ease.

"But the things that are, they are held dearly. I would count meeting you to be one."

The drone of his voice carries as he continues, not phased by her reaction to the piece.

"What do you wish to hear about?"
