That's right, they're back!

To cut a long story short, I got really burnt out from running this blog and also got super hyperfixated on my other projects, but now I'm back and ready to go!

Just two things to mention:

1 - I'm getting rid of the side characters, for now (with the exception of Rosemariee) since they're not connected to the main story. They might show up again at some point tho

And 2 - I want to actually get somewhere with this story without burning myself out, so I'm going to stop caring so much about whether every single drawing looks perfect. So if things look a little more sketchy or the anatomy is a little messed up

That's all for now, I hope you're ready for Minervaa's chaos bc they'll only get weirder from here (the ressurection is canon btw)

satoru’s favorite past time is staring at you. that means he is so very aware of everything, so he picks up on the little things you do— especially your facial expressions. he finds himself subconsciously copying your facial expressions while you tell him stories. knows you well enough to know what the slightest twitch in your right eyebrow means. fan behavior imo 🙄🙄

"why are you looking at me like that?'

satoru leaned on the counter, cheek squishing as his palm supported his head up.

"i'm not looking at you in any way, really," he teased.

you pursed your lips just a bit, as you always did when satoru was being an ass. it was a little way of suppressing a smile from creeping up on you--better not let his ego get too inflated.

"hmm..."

narrowing your eyes a bit, you studied his little lopsided grin as all he could do was smile back at you.

he copied you, pursing his lips a little and sitting up straighter as he narrowed his eyes to read you better.

and he never realized he was doing it. subconsciously, something deeply comforted him about mirroring the person he loved.

you see, satoru would swear up and down that he could sculpt your sweet face from memory; the plump curve of your cheeks, the way your nose contours into the lips he's kissed a million times, and hopes he could kiss a million more.

neither of you realized that you'd become reflections of the other. to be loved is to be changed, as they say; even in the most minuscule ways. maybe it's the purse of your lips, how you instinctively lean in the same way satoru does when he's trying to hear better, or perhaps it's even simpler than that.

maybe other little habits have taken home in your routine that you'd never care to admit, or even notice.

but as you look at the white haired boy in front of you, his eyes still sleepy and body still heavy, you figured it probably wouldn't be a big deal if you two were more similar than you thought.

"you're looking at me like you want something," you lean in more to him, keeping your eyes narrowed in on him.

"oh am i?" he laughs, "maybe there is something small,"

you already knew where this was going.

you mirrored his body language, leaning on the counter to face him with your chin on your palm. you tried not to smile, but rolled your eyes instead.

"and what would that be, baby,"

satoru pushed his lips inward, keeping eye contact.

"just one kiss, please," he asked softly.

you pushed your lips inwards, not even knowing you were copying him.

you finally let the smile take over your oh-so-stoic expression, impossible to hide anything from him.

it was no surprise as you leaned into him to fulfill his sole wish. one more kiss in the bank for satoru.

AHHH my first request!! tysm for asking i would love to make this! i also got curious and only found like three nagi x male readers (two of which were smuts that i was too uncomfortable to read☠️) but don't worry im here to save the day. this also ended up being a lot longer than expected but still really hope you enjoy!! ^^

you were one of the few people who didn’t look at nagi like he was some anomaly. while others in your school would steer clear and gossip about him behind his back, you were one of the only people who spoke to him and treated him like an actual person and not some freak of nature

you would try to talk to him in class but he wouldn’t talk back (since “talking is such a pain”) so you assumed you were bothering him and eventually stopped.

nagi eventually noticed you wouldn’t talk to him in class anymore and it didn’t bother him at first. but eventually he finds himself missing it and would make the rare effort of trying to initiate conversations with you.

that led to you guys talking every day during class. the more you two spoke, the more you realized how much you had in common with him. you soon asked him if he wanted to come over to hang out.

he usually rejects any hang-out offers from literally anyone. though when you asked him if he wanted to come over to your place to play video games together, he accepted because he found you to be less of a hassle to be around compared to others.

when he came over, he realized he actually really enjoys being around you and had fun spending his time playing games with you. he even took a look around your room to admire all the things you’ve collected that represent your personality and interests. this only made him more captivated by you and wanted to be much closer friends

now for the exciting part

once some time has passed and you two got closer, you soon find out he’s a shamelessly clingy person both emotionally and physically.

whenever he would see you, he randomly wraps his arms around you and latch onto you. he hates being forced to let go whenever you two have to go to class.

he gives absolutely zero fucks about being publicly affectionate with another guy in school, paying no mind to the weird stares and whispers

he constantly wants to stay over at your place and when you come over to his for the first time, he introduces you to choki (a hugeeee moment for him trust me)

nagi truly loves being with you. at first, he didn’t care about being an outcast until you showed up in his life and showed him what true friendship and love was like

soon his feelings for you as a friend develops into something much more unfamiliar before he can realize it. falling in love was definitely a new experience for nagi and falling in love with you specifically was a slow delicate process

he definitely didn’t realize for a while that he likes you in that way until he finds himself admiring you as you somehow have soft lighting all over your face and pink flowers and hearts circling your head (all in his imagination my boy is completely whipped). he then thinks, “hmm this feels like one of the shojo mangas i’ve read befo- ohhhhh!”

once the initial shock is over, he’s already bold enough to confess to you quickly after. i can imagine him suddenly telling you how he feels in the most random scenario ever.

it would be so out of nowhere. you guys could be out walking in the park. you casually sip out of your bottle when he nonchalantly says, “wanna be my boyfriend?” with his signature neutral face, making you choke and cough on your water.

he would then elaborate on how much he likes you with the plainest face ever like it was a regular tuesday conversation. the one difference is the light flush on his cheeks and you can definitely tell that he truly means all of it. so once you stopped coughing, you obviously accept his confession

if you thought he was already pretty damn clingy prior to you two becoming a couple, then be prepared for that to increase tenfold

holding hands isn’t enough for him, ideally he needs to be super glued onto you permanently for the rest of his life

you guys are definitely the couple people gag at when they see you both curled up cuddling each other in the hallway.

once again, he gives absolutely no shits. he needs to show off what an amazing boyfriend he has so he’ll never tone it down on the pda

on the very very rare occurrence that you're not with him and you happened to be talking to someone else in the hallway, he sees this and immediately gets a little possessive. so he walks up right behind you and wraps his arms around your waist, resting his head on you. you assume he's just being needy again and find it cute, completely unaware of how he's now glaring deep into that person’s soul from over your shoulder. i mean you’re his man and his man only so everyone needs to know.

he requires you to pet and run your fingers through his hair for a low minimum for uhhh 2000 times a day. you swear that he purrs every time you do it but when you try to listen out for another one, he already fell asleep on your shoulder

whenever you guys are cuddling either at his dorm or your place, he just lays his entire body weight onto you like a heated blanket while resting his head on your shoulder with your fingers carded through his hair. if you try to gently nudge him off so you can get up and use the bathroom, he audibly whines and eventually relents. he totally tries to follow you into the bathroom after that.

whenever you compliment or praise him, he looks totally unaffected but internally, he’s jumping around screaming. meanwhile, he will randomly drop the most endearing and beautiful arrangement of words at you in a completely neutral voice and just move on with his day like you didn’t just witness the most flattering thing you’ve ever heard.

loves whenever you randomly grab his chin and give him a short but very sweet kiss.

nah actually scratch that. nagi loves kisses from you anytime anywhere. fleeting cheek kisses before you both head to class. kisses on his forehead as you hold him close under the covers. drawn out victory kisses you both finally finish a difficult match together. no matter what it is, he always helplessly melts into each one.

before you appeared in nagi's life, his world was just one big dull pain he simply had to push through every day. now that he had you by his side, he finally had the motivation to get out of bed every day.

★ Minervaa — Clamble, Plant Island

Easily recognised by their terrifyingly wide eyes and small pupils, Minervaa is notorious on Plant Island for being an absolute menace. They are an impulsive thrill seeker who seems to have no fear even in the most dangerous situations - good thing Bytee is around to make sure that they don't do anything too risky! They have a bit of a short fuse and can say mean things without meaning to but underneath all that they have a heart of gold and care deeply about the monsters in their life.

★ Bytee — Wubbox, Plant Island

In contrast with their adoptive younger sibling Minervaa, Bytee is cool, calm and collected. Ever since they were awakened by the monsters of Plant Island, they believe they owe them some kind of debt and tries to do everything they possibly can to help, with varying amounts of success. They usually don't like to do anything that would upset anyone, but sometimes they quietly encourage Minervaa's chaos.

★ Hayzel — Oaktapus, Plant Island

Hayzel and Minervaa might look completely different on paper, but these two best friends are more similar than you think. This laid-back monster is equally fearless, though they're less of a thrill seeker and more blissfully unaware of the danger around them. In fact, it seems the only monster in the entire multiverse who can make them angry is their sibling Morton. Recently, they've been trying to get Flurry to relax.

★ Flurry — Mammot, Plant Island

Flurry is a bit of a nervous wreck, well, more than a bit. The poor monster's tried every trick in the book to be more confident and assertive but nothing seems to work. If it wasn't for their friend group - consisting of Minervaa, Hayzel and Kat - they probably wouldn't leave the Castle at all. Somehow (probably from Glitch) they managed to get their paws on a book written by humans about ghosts, and now they're obsessed with the idea of finding one.

★ Kat — Rare T-Rox, Plant Island

Kat is the middle ground and mediator of their friend group: not as impulsive as Minervaa and Hayzel but not as anxious as Flurry. Though they offer advice when asked, it's common for them to just take a step back when the rest of the group starts doing something silly. It's not that they don't like the chaos; they'd just rather watch it than be a part of it. They think Wublins are, like, the coolest ever.

★ Morton — Toe Jammer, Plant Island

Morton is the annoying, smug, "I'm smarter than you and I know it" type, so it's surprising that Bytee of all monsters would form a friendship with them! Maybe they both like to think they're the only two intelligent monsters on the island. They always wear their sunglasses - even indoors or at night - and have dreams of making a found footage horror one day.

More characters may be added as the story develops!

★ || Secondary Characters

These characters won't appear as frequently, either because they don't interact with the main cast much or they aren't on Plant Island. (Also these guys don't have refs cuz I'm lazy)

★ Rosemariee — Furcorn, Whereabouts Unknown

An almost legendary figure on Plant Island, Rosemariee was a brave and friendly monster who never let their small size and weak body stop them from adventuring through the monster world. They have helped discover many new things, and is even rumoured to have been part of the original group of monsters that freed the Tribal Island Kayna! They haven't been seen in a long time, but Minervaa might have some stories to tell you about them.

okie so my fav happily ever after is my ss with scara. after all the bs we go through with the abyss and the fatui and the events in sumeru, we finally get the break we deserve. scara gets the break he deserves. we get to travel freely without the weight of responsibility that comes with being a harbinger. after all his trauma with the archons/gods, scara finally gets to have a healthy relationship with one - nahida. we help her explore her nation and have fun lil dinners with her.

happily ever after doesn’t mean we don’t have to work on things, ourselves and our relationship. but it means we get the luxury of focusing solely on ourselves, being a little selfish for once. it means being happy every day, not necessarily all day, but every day.

i pick all the names btw bc i have the best ideas for them. and kaeyeri babies are the most spoiled. kaeya is definitely the pushover, dainsleif is protective, and capitano is doting

okay so kaeya -> our first one was a total accident. as in getting knocked up during the honeymoon NSKDKNS LMAO. her name's aria which means a lot of different things. in english it means air/song/melody and in sanskrit it means noble, but it also derived from khaenri'ah which is where kaeya is from. so it's a name that ties the two nations together. she is kaeya's princess and is like his shadow but she has my attitude 💀

our second is named luca, which means bringer of light. he was also named after his uncle diluc (both names relating to light). luca is my mini, my little prince 💙

dainsleif -> our first one was also an accident (rip). definitely scandalous— a princess with child out of wedlock and with a knight? tje whole kingdom would gossip if we didn't have a shotgun wedding. anyway sndjdkdk. her name is dahlia which means valley, which is for the our spot in the inteyvat fields. our second was planned and her name is karina which means pure. they're both his little princesses (literally) 🥹

capitano -> i like to think if i had a first born child who was planned it would be with capitano. we have a girl too, her name is alexandra. she is snezhnaya's little sweetheart, and her name means one who saves warriors. she's the reason he keeps fighting 🥹 and i can often catch the two of them in the rose garden that cap tends to.
