“Aren’t you tired?” 

The question came out of nowhere, and you couldn’t help the confused expression that crossed your face. “What do you mean?” You were worried he might say something about the way you were piloting the ship, implying that you seemed fatigued or distracted and there was going to be some kind of trouble because of it. 

But Din’s response didn’t have of the tension that you expected. “I don’t know, you’ve been out here for a while, I just wondered if you wanted to stop somewhere and get some rest.” 

Stop somewhere and get some rest. Those six words told you everything you needed to know, and you knew exactly what was going on. His question had never been about you and your piloting abilities, it was about him and his desire to cuddle, he just didn’t want to say that outright. 

You always enjoyed when the ship was parked somewhere and you got to sleep in an actual bed, because more often than not, it led to you and Din cuddling up together. After you returned Grogu to the Jedi, he had been removing his helmet around you sometimes, but it was only when you two were cuddled up and you were half asleep already. And slowly, you started to realize that you weren’t the only one who looked forward to your cuddling sessions, he just never wanted to admit it. 

“Are you just asking me this so we could cuddle?” Your voice was pitched to a stage whisper, and you had a playful smile on your face. 

“No.” He was lying, he always was when you asked that question. “I’m just concerned for your well-being.” 

“Hmm, sure,” you said. “Of course.”

“Do you want to stop somewhere or not?” 

It only took a laugh and a few words of confirmation before the ship was touching down on a nearby planet and the two of you were checking into an inn. You watched him remove pieces of his armor as you got comfortable in the bed, his helmet the last thing to go. As the light was turned off and you snuggled right up against him, you could hear him sigh quietly in content. 

“You know, if you want to cuddle with me, you can always just ask.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” was his response. “I wanted to make sure you got all the rest you needed.” 

A short laugh escaped your lips as you closed your eyes, and you allowed yourself to find comfort in his warmth. He was full of osik, and maybe one day you’d finally get him to admit it.

Your friend had dared you to prank your boyfriend Charles Leclerc, the F1 driver you had been dating for a few months now. You were hesitant at first, not wanting to upset him, but your friend convinced you it would be harmless fun.

So, when you met up with Charles for dinner that night, you decided to give it a try. As you talked about your day, you casually dropped in the name of another guy you knew from work. "Oh, I saw Jake today," You said, watching for Charles' reaction.

At first, he didn't seem to notice. But as the night went on, you could tell he was getting more and more irritated. He kept asking you questions about Jake, wanting to know who he was and what he was doing with his girlfriend.

You couldn't help but feel guilty as Charles' anger grew. You knew you had gone too far, but you couldn't bring yourself to admit it just yet. You tried to steer the conversation away from Jake, but Charles kept bringing it back up.

Finally, You couldn't take it anymore. "It was just a prank, Charles," you said, trying to hide your laughter. "There's no Jake. It was all a joke."

Charles' face turned red with anger. "A joke? You think this is funny?" he growled, his voice low and intimidating.

You could feel your heart racing as Charles leaned in closer to you. "Do you have any idea how jealous that made me feel?" he continued. "To think that some other guy was trying to steal you away from me?"

You tried to apologize, but Charles wasn't having it. "I don't know if I can trust you anymore," he said, his voice still low and menacing. "You need to make it up to me."

You knew you had messed up, and you were willing to do whatever it took to make things right with Charles. As the night went on, you talked things out and made amends. Eventually, the tension between you dissipated, and you found ourselves cuddled up together on the couch at home.

Charles laid his head on your chest, his breathing slow and steady. "I love you," he whispered, his voice soft and sincere.

You smiled, running your fingers through his hair. "I love you too, Charles. And I promise, no more pranks."

"I'm still not satisfied with your apology, ma cheríe" Charles said, taking his head of your chest and pulling you on top of him.

The night was long with lots of screaming, you definitely were getting complains from the neighbors the next day!

fetus al🥺 that’s what my mind went too, it’d be the cutest cause he’s the most inexperienced one, also could be you putting makeup on him, just for fun.

he’d be so clueless (both with the skincare and makeup) cause he’s only seen his mum use mascara and lipstick and he doesn’t understand how all your stuff works but he’s fascinated by it and relaxes under your touch while you work on him, sitting in his lap as you do it. or applying one of those face masks on him, the ones that dry up and you have to peel them off. him moving, not on purpose but not realising that he shouldn’t and you get it in his eyebrows and your face drops as you know what that means.

“alexxx, don’t move, it’s gonna hurt when you take it off if i get it in your eyebrows”

“what? hurt? you didn’t tell me this was gonna hurt. are my eyebrows gonna come off?” so concerned and genuinely petrified as he thinks of how he’s gonna have no eyebrows after this.

“you’ll live.” you tell him and give the tip of his nose a kiss, still free from the mask as you hadn’t applied it there yet.

once it’s all done you wait for both your faces to dry up and he’s so amusing to watch as he tries to move his mouth but he can’t cause the product is hardening and constricting his movements.

you tell him to go clean it off when you feel his face and it’s all done but after a couple minutes he’s whining for you.

“come here pleasee. now!” he shouts from the bathroom.

you go to check on him and he looks fucking scared for his life looking at himself in the mirror with the pink stuff still on his face. you try not to but you can’t help but laugh at him.

“what are you laughing at?! ‘s not funny, it’s not coming off.” and he continues splashing water at his face in hopes of it working.

you grab his wrist and make him look you in the eyes.

“it peels off babe.”

“oh? really?”

“yeah, don’t panic like that, let me help you.”

when you’re back in the bedroom he huffs, still a bit frustrated from the whole thing. he makes sure you close the door before he speaks, as your parents are at home, even though they’re downstairs he’s still careful.

“i want my reward now.” he pouts

🍸 Spencer's Sauvignon Blanc - send me a character + prompt and i'll write you a small blurb!

"Is this OK?" Spencer asked quietly, his fingers freshly entwined with mine.

I giggled. "What? You holding my hand or you taking me out for sushi for our first official date?"

His cheeks blushed crimson, a tone to match the wrapper of the chopsticks he'd been fiddling with since we sat down. "Both."

I gave him a small smile, but nodded. "It's perfect."

The waiter appeared, one menu in hand. "My apologies. It's a very busy night. This was the only menu I could find," he said, a nervous sigh settling on his tongue.

Spencer blushed even darker at this, avoiding eye contact with both me and the waiter.

After taking our drink order, the waiter left us alone once again. I stood, sliding myself into Spencer's side of the booth. "Is this OK?" I said, a giggle nearly falling from my tongue.

He simply nodded, turning his attention to the menu and away from me. His breathing became heavy as he looked over the menu, something it had been doing a lot since he finally told me he liked me.

The rest of the date went similarly to this, the two of us making awkward small talk until our food arrived, eating in a silence that was almost as awkward as the small talk, and quite frankly, an even more awkward walk around the park near my apartment.

It wasn't until the last five minutes of our walk that I finally convinced him to lace his fingers between mine again, his breath shaky at the sensation.

We continued the walk back to my apartment in silence, though this time, it was a much more comfortable silence.

"So, this is your building," he said, looking down at his shoes as he removed his hand from mine.

"Yep," I answered, popping the p a little harder than I'd meant to.

"It's a very nice building. Much nicer than my old, run-down building. I'm surprised the elevator hasn't broken down on my ride up to my apartment," he uttered, an expression on his face that announced he was being betrayed by his lips.

We both stayed silent for a beat, until he mentioned, "But you already knew that because you've visited my apartment before."

"Spencer-"

"Is it- is it hot out here or is it just me?" he asked, adjusting his scarf. "The temperature was supposed to be 65° tonight but I'm still extremely hot. Are you hot?" His eyes widened. "I-I didn't mean it like that. I mean, you are hot. Not hot but pretty. Oh, my God-"

"Spencer, will you please just shut up and kiss me goodnight?" I asked.

His cheeks went red, a maroon shade almost as red as the lipstick I wore, a color that was twice as dark as his cheeks had been earlier. "Are you sure?"

I placed both my hands on either side of his face, pulling him toward me. "Yes, I'm sure." And with that, our lips met, a sensation that not even a romance novel could ever describe.

He pulled away first, those hazel eyes expanding so wide, I wasn't sure they wouldn't reach his hairline. "I'm sorry."

I chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Why are you sorry?"

"Ever since I realized I like you, I get this weird feeling in my stomach. It's kinda like I wanna throw up. Not in a bad way! In an exciting way. Sorta like when you're in line for a roller-coaster. Not that I've ever done that because roller-coasters scare me. Anyway, it makes my hands shake and I get all sweaty. That's gross. Anyway-"

It started a few months after you began to travel with him, the whisper of a word in a language that you didn’t recognize. Too nervous to ask him what the term meant, you could only hope that it was some kind of endearment and not an insult said directly to your face. 

It became a common occurrence to hear him say it, and yet you were still too nervous ask what it meant. And the more time you spent traveling with him, the more you fell in love with him, which changed the way you viewed things. 

For you, it started out as a slip-up. A quick “Thank you, sayang,” after he handed you something, and you didn’t even realize you had said it at first. It didn’t even seem like Din caught the term of endearment as it first left your lips, as he just continued on with whatever he was doing. 

After that first time, and his lack of response, you got a little bolder. You didn’t speak his native language and he didn’t speak yours, and that made things a little easier. And soon, you were noticing the little things you were saying to him nearly every day. 

You favored “darling,” or “my darling,” the most, as that was what seemed to fit him the best, and what you hoped he was referring to you as. He had to have noticed at this point, both what you were saying to him and what he was calling you, and at this point it was just a matter of who said something about it first.

Finally, after what felt like forever, you were the one that cracked. “What does ‘cyar’ika’ mean?” you asked one day, as the two of you stared out the windshield of the Razor Crest, watching the blue streaks of hyperspace pass you by.

“I could ask you the same question about what you’ve been calling me,” he said. 

“I asked you first.” 

“If I tell you, then you have to answer my question.” 

“Fine,” you said. “What does cyar’ika mean? Are you calling me stupid to my face?” 

“I would never do that,” he said. “And to answer your question, it’s a term of endearment, similar to ‘sweetheart’ in basic.”

You couldn’t help the way you suddenly fell in love with him even more. He had been calling you ‘sweetheart’ for weeks now? 

“Now it’s your turn to share,” he said, and even though you couldn’t see his face, you could tell he was smiling. 

“‘Sayang,’ it means ‘darling,’” you responded. 

“It seems like we both had the same idea then,” he said, turning his chair around to face you, and reaching out to take your hand. 

Din Djarin wasn’t a man of many words, but this little gesture told you everything that you needed to know, only making the feelings in your heart grow.

here's some of my random rambling about gaz (SFW) !! not sure if these are headcanons or blurbs. both, i suppose... this is tooth-rotting fluff btw

⇨ gaz loves winter. it clashes with his athleisure style (tanks & shorts),, but then he has an excuse to match sweats with you! he's not super religious, but his family still carries out the winter festivities — and he always shows when he can :) you will 100% be invited. no one goes home without a full belly and a gift basket !!

➷ it's cheesy, but he loves taking you to the Christmas light shows/big trees downtown. and how they shine on his face?? every time you think this man couldn't be more ethereal; he blows you away.

➷ big on snowball fights (and roughhousing in general). part of the reason he loves winter is how soft the snow is. perfect for executing his revenge and tackling you. and then he goes in for the kill — a barrage of kisses. i mean, how can you counterattack after that? and don't even say "NO FAIR!" because he doesn't care. maybe if you throw a snowball at him when he turns his back, you'll get him back :) if you can run fast enough and not slip :)

⇨ gaz never falls through on a promise. no matter how small or unserious. he's meeting you at seven? he's there at six forty-five. and if he isn't? he'd better be in a hospital bed, bleeding out; that's the only way he isn't getting to you on time.

➷ don't even dare act surprised or suspicious either. let. him. love. you. you haven't been to the kitchen in a few hours? he's coming by with a plate of food or some snacks. your water bottle is empty? gaz is on it before you even think about getting up.

➷ god forbid it is something serious; forgetting an important date, forgetting to check in, etc. he's not just going to "forget" that; trust that he'll be beating himself up for it. he's more sensitive than he lets on, and to him, promises really are that serious. even pinky ones.
