You were excited to attend the football match with your boyfriend, Pablo Gavi. You both loved supporting the team and cheering them on, but you were also secretly a fan of another player - Ansu Fati.

As you were getting ready for the match, you decided to wear Ansu Fati's jersey instead of the Pablo's jersey. You knew it was a risky move, but you couldn't resist showing your support for your favorite player.

During the match, the camera focused on you for a brief moment. You turned and showed the jersey with Ansu Fati's name in the back, and you could feel Pablo's eyes on you. When you looked over at him, you could see the jealousy in his eyes.

After the match, you entered the changing room to find Pablo angrily sitting on his locker. You could tell he was upset, so you walked over to him and asked him what was wrong.

"Why did you wear Ansu Fati's jersey?" he asked, his voice laced with jealousy.

You explained that you were just a fan of the player and didn't mean anything by it. Pablo seemed to calm down a bit and eventually, you both went home together.

As you cuddled on the couch, Pablo apologized for getting jealous and explained that he just wanted to feel like you were all his. You reassured him that he was the only one for you and that you would never do anything to intentionally hurt him.

In the end, you both fell asleep in each other's arms, feeling closer than ever before.

Summary :

You decide to surprise your girlfriends at training. Unintentionally signing yourself up for a football lesson.

You had been planning this for weeks, keeping secrets from both Mapi and Alexia was no small task, but somehow, you’d managed. With both of your girlfriends playing for FC Barcelona Femení, their schedules were extremely full, leaving little time for surprise gestures. But today, you were determined to change that.

The sun was high in the sky, casting a warm glow over the training ground as you made your way toward the field. The girls didn’t know you were coming, and the anticipation bubbling inside you was almost too much to contain. You had arranged with the coaching staff to sneak in during their water break, hoping to catch them both completely off guard.

As you approached, you could hear the familiar sound of cleats hitting the grass and the playful banter between the players. Your heart swelled with affection as you spotted Mapi and Alexia, completely in their element, commanding the field with their usual grace and intensity. Mapi, with her fierce determination and strong presence, was effortlessly blocking shots while Alexia, ever the leader, guided her teammates with ease. You waited just out of sight until the coach called for a water break. This was your chance.

With a deep breath, you stepped onto the field, carrying a couple of their favourite drinks in hand. You approached quietly, watching as Mapi and Alexia grabbed their bottles, talking and laughing with each other. Mapi’s signature smirk flashed as she wiped sweat from her brow, while Alexia’s focus never truly wavered, even during a break. As you got closer, Mapi spotted you first. Her eyes widened in surprise, and she nudged Alexia, who turned to see what had caught her attention. The moment their gazes locked onto you, both of their expressions shifted from shock to pure joy.

- ¡Cariño! (Love !)

Mapi exclaimed, quickly closing the distance between you with a wide grin plastered on her face. She wrapped her arms around you tightly, her sweaty jersey clinging to your skin, but you didn’t mind. The warmth of her embrace and the happiness in her voice made it all worth it.

- ¡No nos dijiste que vendrías! (You didn’t tell us you were coming! )

Alexia added, her face lighting up as she joined the hug, sandwiching you between them. Her arms found their way around you and Mapi, squeezing you both as she kissed your cheek softly.

- Bueno, no sería una sorpresa si te lo dijera, ¿verdad? (Well, it wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you, would it?)

You replied, laughing as you held them close, soaking in the feeling of being in their arms. Mapi pulled back slightly, giving you one of her signature playful looks.

Alexia, always the calm and composed one, smiled softly at you, her eyes filled with affection.

Mapi said, taking a sip from her drink before leaning in to kiss you quickly on the lips. Her kiss was gentle but full of love. Alexia’s eyes softened as she watched the interaction before pressing her own soft kiss to your forehead.

- También te extrañamos. (We missed you, too)

She admitted quietly, her hand sliding into yours. The rest of the team had noticed by now, and a few of the players nudged each other, clearly amused by the little reunion happening in the middle of training. You could hear the teasing remarks, mostly from Patri and Aitana, about how cute the three of you looked together.

- ¡Nos vas a hacer quedar mal con todo este romance! (You’re gonna make us look bad with all this romance!)

Patri called out with a grin, causing Alexia to laugh and shake her head.

- ¿Celosa? (Jealous?)

Mapi shot back, smirking as she draped an arm around your shoulder.

- Siempre. (Always)

Patri replied with a wink before jogging off to get ready for the next drill.

- Creo que será mejor que volvamos a entrenar. (Guess we’d better get back to training)

Alexia sighed, though her hand lingered in yours for a moment longer.

- Pero gracias por venir, significa mucho para mí. (But thank you for coming. It means a lot.)

You smiled, squeezing her hand before letting go.

- Estaré mirando desde las gradas. Hazme sentir orgulloso. (I’ll be watching from the stands. Make me proud.)

Mapi grinned, giving you a quick kiss on the cheek before jogging back to the field with Alexia beside her, both of them throwing one last glance over their shoulders at you.

As you settled into the stands, watching your girlfriends return to training with renewed energy, you couldn’t help but feel incredibly lucky. You squealed in surprise, your arms instinctively wrapping around her neck as she carried you back towards the field. Alexia followed close behind, her expression amused yet slightly exasperated.

she muttered fondly, shaking her head as she jogged after the two of you. By the time Mapi reached the edge of the field, the rest of the team had gathered, looking on with a mix of laughter and curiosity. You could see Patri holding up her phone, probably filming the whole thing.

You asked breathlessly, half laughing, half protesting as Mapi set you down in the middle of the field.

The both of you are only thirteen and it is your very first summer football camp.

You had tripped over your laces and luckily for you, the blonde is there.

‘I’m s-sorry.’ You stammer with bright red cheeks but the taller girl only laughs as she sets you on your feet properly.

‘It’s okay. I’m Laura and it’s nice to meet you.’

Her hair is up in braids and her blue eyes are sparkling. The socks she is wearing are mismatched, they are different colours and one is longer than the other.

Right, there and then, you think she is the prettiest girl you have ever seen.

Laura sticks her hand out and you shake it with a shy smile.

You don’t see her at any other summer camp for years.

It’s not till she walks into Penn State’s locker room that you meet her for the second time.

You had heard that the newest member of your team is named Laura and that she’s from Germany like you but it never crossed your mind that it would be your Laura.

Your Laura that you had spent every day at that one summer camp with, having water fights with your bottles and pranking the other children.

She spots you and her smile appears. The same brilliant smile that she had back then and the butterflies in your stomach get all fluttery again.

The striker walks up to you, holding out her hand for you to shake again.

You do so with a grin and she giggles, ‘You’re not falling for me this time?’

Then you end up signing for Frankfurt and the striker picks you up at the airport.

‘Marry me? Please don’t ever become a stranger whose laugh I can recognise anywhere. I can’t live with that. I want your midnights. I will stay with you when you’re lost, when I’m scared, when it’s hard and even when it’s wrong and we’re making mistakes. I love you and I promise you I will never stop.’

You have always thought her eyes are beautiful.

But now as they are looking up at you, with all the hope in the world as she trusts you not to break her heart? They’re radiant.

Your little brother was the happiest to hear that your boyfriend is indeed Pablo Gavi, big legend in La Masia, where he was playing at the moment. His whole life Pablo Gavi was his ídolo and the first time you introduced the two of them, the little boy cried...it was so adorable.

Pablo being in the first team was very busy with traveling and training now for the nationals, but when he heard that your little brother wanted him to watch the mini Clássico, he couldn't say no wanting to be there for support.

Then someone fouled your brother and you jumped really worried if he was alright but Pablo reassured you that the hit wasn't too bad and that he was going to be fine.

When the opposing team scored some minutes later, your brother was on his knees looking towards Pablo who smiled yelling "doesn't matter! keep playing!" and he smiled jumping to his feet joining his teammates.

You just had to kiss him after that and he looked at you with raised eyebrows wondering what was that for.

"For being the best boyfriend in the world! Plus, one day you will be a great dad amor" you say and that made him blush pulling you close and kiss the top of your head. You were both obviously too young to think about kids but hearing you say that made Pablo so proud.

At the end of first half it was 1:1 and your brother assisted the goal which made Pablo very proud saying that he was very selfless and passionate player.

"He reminds me of me amor.." Pablo said and you smiled laying your head on his shoulder asking if he wanted to go see him before the second half but he told you that little boy knew what to do.

"He's gonna be happy to hear that..you're his ídolo amor" you say and Pablo smiled as you both waived him back when he got onto the pitch.

"There it is! Good steal not run! Run niño! Vamos!" Pablo got to his feet and you chuckled at his passion even when he wasn't one on the pitch and when your brother once again passed the ball only for it to come back to his feet as he score the second goal.

"Goal!!!" you both screamed hugging one another as he kissed his jersey just like Pablo always does pointing at him with a bright smile.

"That kid is something special for sure.." Pablo said and you smiled shaking your head and kissing him as you finished watching the game.

After the game you both went to the tunnel to wait for him as he ran to Pablo jumping into his arms as he spun him around.

"Did you see that!? I did like you said and it worked!! You're the best Pablo! The best!" your brother was so excited hugging Pablo tightly and you smiled sending him a kiss.

"I did see that! What a goal niño! And I have to say you reminded me of myself today..you're the best" Pablo said and that made your brother's eyes tear as you kissed his cheek telling him it was alright.

"Glad to see you again Gavi" coach said and Pablo hugged him saying he was glad as well.

"Who is ready for some celebratory ice cream?" Pablo said and your brother looked at his coach who said this was a special occasion and he is allowing it.

"Yes!! I'm going to change quickly!" he said running to the chaining rooms while you chatted some more with his coach.

"You really made his day, amor.." you say while you waited for him in the car and he leaned in kissing you lovingly. Just in that moment, he opened the door jumping in and you thought what an impeccable timing he has hehe! And then we went for that celebratory ice cream!

Your eyes were sparkling as you watched him, and he felt like he could hear your cheers over everyone else's in the festival

He immediately looks away to focus on the competition, but you would never know how fast his heart was racing because of your smile

He definitely looks good out there on the field, his gaze focused and determined, his body moving around with ease, the small and sure grin on his face...

At the end of the day, the results don't matter too much to him (well they kind of do, he is competitive after all), he's more nervous to see your reaction

You go to congratulate him, and he grins at you, leaning a bit closer to mumble, "It was all for you," in your ear before turning to talk his friends

You definitely can't see it because he turned his back, but his face goes absolutely red, and he feels so flustered that he can barely speak <3

You remember the excitement on Pedro's face when you told him that you were finally agreeing to go on a date with him after five months of him trying. He went all in towards you and hugged you against him for a whole five minutes murmuring a few thank you's and a few you won't regret it's.

And it's not like you weren't interested in him, because you were; but, he was a famous football player and you were a simple univeristy student who works her ass off to pay for her university and bills. His busy and flashy life didn't contrasted a single bit with your boring and stressing studing one.

You were also scared of the media breaking into your private life and not to mentions his fans that could break you in millions of pieces with three words and also he had a reputation often being connected with random girls with the context of a hookup, he saying that he didn't looked for a serious relationship made you hesitate about him but Pedri reassured you and show you that, that was past, that he truly saw himself in a long run with you and that you'll be more than a random hookup.

He worked hard for you to believe him and he show you he really meant it.

That's why you gave him a chance and after eight months together as girlfriend and boyfriend and one month out in the public eye, you felt for the first time ever doubtful of everything he had said to you.

Pedro had asked if you wanted to join him, Fer, Adrián and their girlfriends on a night out since it was Adrian girlfriend's birthday and as much as you wanted to, you couldn't because you had to submitt a twenty-five pages essay in fours hours and you were barely at the fifteen page.

"Don't overwork yourself, amor, please" Pedro had said grabbing his keys "Te quiero, sé que podrás hacerlo, bonita" (I love you, I know you can do it) He smiled as you kissed him goodbye

"Te escribo al terminar, diviértete pero no mucho" (I'll text you whenever I'm done with it, have fun but not that much) You smiled fixing the neck of his polo as he pulled you closer to him by the waist kissing your lips once more

Two hours later, you got some weird inspiration and managed to finish your essay, you texted Pedro with the image of your submitted work and a lil "🎉😌 Did it!" To which he replied with a heart eyes emoji and "My smart girl" as you smile and got ready to have some dinner and shower.

Four hours later, you were sat on your couch with your chest tightening and watching the video of Pedri with a girl all over him, they were sit in some couch but this girl had her whole front pressed up against his side, her arms linked with his and they were talking.

The video showed him looking at her and sometimes nodding or shaking his head speaking with a smile but she was laughing, throwing her head back, pushing her hair out of her shoulder, the video ended with Pedro getting up and she following him.

Underneath, the comments were all of them disappointed on Pedro and supporting you but it didn't mattered to you.

What mattered is that how you were feeling, you were embarrassed, everyone was talking about how you were "The one who got cheated on", you wanted to cry and deeply wanted to know what is going on, on Pedro's head. You wanted him to tell you what did you just saw and the why behind his actions.

Ten minutes later approximately, you heard the front door being opened, soon your heard him taking off his shoes and then leaving his keys on the holder you guys have. Seconds later, you saw his figure greeting you in your living room.

"How did you passed from thirteen to almost thirty pages of content in two hours? Was I distracting you?" He laughed lightly coming over to you but his comment didn't changed your facial expressions, he didn't noticed them "I'm truly happy for you, bonita. However, don't let an assigment that long get up to you at last minute ever again. I don't want to see you that stressed out again, you were gonna pass out and I would have done it too 'cus-" You interrupted him showing him the video

"What's this and who's that girl?" Your questions sounded defensive and catched Pedro out of guard.

I wasn't flirting with her and I definitely couldn't care any less if she had another intentions with me because I am that crazy in love with you, I am freaking greatful and satisfied for what I have at home that I don't need to see anything or anyone on the sidelines"

"Really? You have such a weird way to show that"

"I'm tired, Pedri. We can talk it later, I'm not in the mood to hear or see you anymore" You sighed shaking your head, you grabbed your phone and passed by him going to your shared bedroom "I definitely didn't think this could happen to us"

He heard it.

"Nothing has happen to us! You're overreacting!" He yelled pushing his head up so he can see you

"Would you think I'm overreacting if tables were turned around? Would you think it's okay if I go to some other man and flirt and link my arm through his and push myself onto him? Would you accept, me looking into your eyes and tell you: "I wasn't flirting with him"? Wouldn't you feel down knowing a millions of people have seen it and are letting you look like you were cheated on? Wouldn't you feel embarrassed? Are you sure you wouldn't? Because if you wouldn't then yes... I'm overreacting" You said looking into his eyes "Accept it, you fucked it up when you let her get that close to you"

"So this is it?"

"I don't even want to know if this is it or if it isn't. You can make your own assumptions and you can let me known them with another video if you like, I'll be in the guest room. I'm done. Night, Pedri"

And with that you were gone as he stood there looking up at where you were standing. He took his phone and got inside Twitter, the video was the first thing loading into his homepage.

He gulped watching it, it really could be misinterpreted but he wasn't doing anything with other intentions. He loves you with his whole life. It can be said that he loves you even more than he loves football, you came into his life unexpectedly and turned it around 360°.

He didn't see girls who weren't you with other eyes, he even stopped receiving fangirls numbers to prove you he is serious with you and to let you know how much he respects you.

"Why didn't I pushed her away?" He questioned himself

She was funny and he did liked her, as a friend, she lets herself be liked and gets into the group fast but in his mind and heart you were the only one.

You are the only one and he did the wrong move. His efforts that once were high now laid at 0 and he did understand your point of view now.

Frustrated with himself he got out of the app and his eyes connected with his home lockscreen. You and him kissing each other in a beach during you vacations in Canarias, the beauty of the photo is the love you two have for each other and the kiss that was interrupted by smiles on both of your faces.

He has to make it up to you.

He had to be careful with his words and explain himself as much as he could. Your eyes were closed but your cheeks had tear marks, you were awake just ignoring his presence. He sighed and crunched down to be in front of you.

In this AU, Pomni (as Alice) went through an exit door and ended up in wonderland. She thinks it’s another one of Caine’s creations so she wanders endlessly trying to find a way out; or at least back to the circus.

In this AU, Jax (as the Cheshire Cat) is a trickster, popping in from time to time to mess with Pomni or the others. He takes joy in screwing with the Gloink Queen and anyone affiliated with her.

In this AU, Caine and Bubble (as the Mad Hatter and the March Hare) are silly guys who like to sit around and have tea with the npc’s/the mannequins/Dr. Football. They think Pomni is crazy; kinda hypocritical.

In this AU, Zooble (as that blue caterpillar that smoked, idk the name) is laid back and mellow, not always socially aware. They do at least somewhat Pomni but is just generally dismissive/chill.

In this AU, Kinger (as the king of hearts) is jittery and panicky, he usually finds himself talking to the gloinks (which are the card guards/guys now). Kinger is married to the Gloink Queen (as the Queen of Hearts) due to their royalty status, neither of them are happy in their situationship.

In this AU, Gangle (as the white rabbit) is still the same little crybaby (poor thing) who’s frequently yelled at by the Gloink Queen. Her emotional escape is by drawing, which Jax teases her about.

thinking abt bllk (no surprise there) and how (at least until now) all (well, most of?) the characters backstories aka basically the reason for their most prominent issues are, instead of extremely tragic and complex events, simply children's logic applied to recurrent situations in their daily lives (and especially the sport they love):

bachira feels lonely: bachira was a weird and lonely kid who was also extremely passionate abt (and talented in) football, more than any other kid, making bachira feel isolated even when he was playing with others. this got even worse when the kids he played with started to resent him, calling him a "monster" and bullying him. while talking with his mom, she told him to keep believing in his inner voice and ignore those who dont understand him, resulting in bachira giving that voice the form of a "monster" that can play football with him to feel less lonely. which, obviously, made him even more lonely, even if it was an imaginary friend created to aliviate that feeling. because bachira still felt lonely, even after many years and even after playing with other people in school who werent any fun for him, he kept the monster by his side. believing no one could ever beat this monster (thank GODNESS he did 🎉!!! HE is the monster no one can beat!!!! his arc is one of my favs hes literally unstoppable now, i love him dude i love h)

isagi holds himself back too much: isagi (i read the light novel abt him hehe) was a timid and mild mannered kid until he discovered football, which he fell in love with. while playing the sport he could let go of his shyness and actually be selfish and go all out. uuuntil... he entered his high school's reputable football club, where the motto was to play as a team above everything else (a very anti-blue lock logic lol). isagi then, in an effort to accomodate to the social norms of the club (bc hes isagi, and off the field hes calmer and timider), had to simmer down in the field as well. supress himself. at times it seems like his on and off switch is kind of stuck.

barou has main character syndrome: barou was a very, on top of talented, meticulous kid and therefore the best in football out of every other kid he knew, who didnt take it as seriously and were more than happy to let him score all the goals. he didnt understand why they were satisfied with letting other people take all the glory, so he secluded himself, convinced that he was the only player that actually mattered on the field. the best. the Main Character. everyone else was completely worthless, their only use being to serve HIM. (until he got his ass kicked by isagi and became the villan instead of the main character, bc oh, shit, barou's not actually the main character???? then he'll hunt down & DESTROY the main character).

rin (god, rin) has a brother complex (i used to hate when ppl oversimplify whats wrong w him w this term but tbh it does boil down to this lol ToT): rin idolized his older brother like crazy and wanted to be just like him. bc he was also blessed with talent and also had a great relationship w sae, he had everything he needed to fulfill his dream of being the 2nd best striker, the 1st obviously being his older brother, who rin viewed as the best, most talented player in the world. when sae comes back from spain and tells him 'the world is big and im not actually the best, you go and be the best striker by yourself' (basically: our (your) dream is over), rin has a fucking breakdown. its not really a tragic, despair-inducing event, objectively speaking. but in the manga its framed as such bc for rin, in his childish logic, it is. bc his brother IS the BEST player, what the fuck do you mean hes not number 1 outside of japan?? ....then what about rin? if his brother cant be the best, rin cant be the 2nd best either, let alone the best. he feels like sae ruined everything, gave up, broke their (rin's) dream!!!! after sae humilliates him, rin directs all of his frustrations at him and bows to defeat him. as long as rin sees himself as sae's little brother, he's never gonna be able to surpass him, bc in rin's mind, sae is still the best, his talented big brother.

ness believes kaiser, not him, is the magician: ness's case is more serious bc his family was (is?) emotionally abusive towards him. basically, like every other kid, ness believed in magic. the concept of magic is exciting for children and gives them, in the form of play, the opportunity to express their creativity and exercise their imagination; work out a way to make the impossible come true. bc this is so important for their development, usually its the parents role to, at least to a certain degree, keep alive the belief that magic is real. ness's parents, on the contrary, shut down this belief bc it didnt match with their own views. they saw his interests as a waste of time, even letting his sibilings bully him and treat him badly to make him give up on them. ness, however, didnt, and instead found a more socially acceptable way to 'do magic' and express his creativity: football. he feared greatly, however, that football would be taken away from him, so in that faithful match in which he met kaiser he decided to put all of his trust and hard work on him, bc ness believed kaiser was the person who would be able to make the impossible, the magic that ness wanted to create, happen. i think the key to unlock his full potential is stop relying on kaiser so much and start believing in his own magic (kind of like what happened in hiori's arc). we have yet to know kaiser's backstory but i have a feeling those two enable each other's worst traits...

he was such a troublemaker at school. he was super active and needed to constantly move around, which he did, and would always get scolded for that. he also had no problem talking back at any teacher.

he didn’t really have many toys, and actually enjoyed playing outside with other kids way more, he was very social. he loved ball games, dodgeball & football especially!

an animal lover. his heart melts for dogs, big ones especially. he probably had one or two growing up in his village, to help with the hunt.

very muscled. he doesn’t work out, but his constant working on the garden, lifting heavy stuff and employing machineries all the time got him to build a lot of muscle mass. mostly on his upper body, his biceps are huge.

has freckles. his skin tone is pretty tanned, he stays out most of the day and therefore tans a lot, which tends to hide them, but during winter season they’re visible all over his body, especially on his face.

his teeth are crooked. since after his milk teeth fell, the new ones grew out crooked both on the upper and bottom part. he always had them that way and doesn’t really care much, although kou teases him often, calling him “shark teeth”.

he loves bonsai trees. he has a little collection of several pieces into his room and treats them like his children. whoever touches them is dead.

we all know he has a sweet tooth. he enjoys sugar in all of its forms, from sugar cubes to cakes, cookies, muffins and every sweet or candy existing. he can’t resist a dark chocolate bar, or a blueberry muffin.

likes tattoos. a very, mery lot. the big ones that cover completely one’s arm or leg, yeah, that’s his style. even more if they represent animals or tribals.

candles. he despises their smell, it makes him nauseous so quickly. he’s always bickering with ruki for that, since ruki enjoys them quite a lot.

reading. due to his dyslexia, he has problems reading correctly and therefore avoids it as much as he can, it’s one of his biggest insecurities.

it may sounds weird, but he doesn’t like music. he doesn’t really listen to it, never. any genre at all. it’s not like he hates it, but there’s no genre that appeals him.

he fancies chubby people. he finds them to be very pretty and loves the feeling of squishy skin, it’s so nice to bite and, honestly, it attracts him a lot.

drinks tea religiously. he prefers it over coffee, which has a bitter taste to him (yeah, even with 5 teaspoons of sugar) and often drinks all kinds of teas. camomiles, green tea. it helps him sleep better.

↳ username2: so basically one of the users that got a reply from the Bengals’ Twitter account posted how they got a notification from someone with the username @.yourTwitter that had responded to their tweet and then when they clicked the notification, the reply was deleted… but then a few seconds later, the same reply was posted by the Bengal’s Twitter team. (also the Bengals’ social media accounts and Joe Burrow follows Y/N on Twitter and Instagram).
