SEVERUS: ok ok ok Severus is really good at giving gifts bc mind reader who can figure out exactly what i want and need but he knows that it bothers me bc like... think from your heart ho?? idk??? but he really likes to fill journals every birthday with diary entries, poems, doodles, date ideas, memories and give those to me as like a yearly tradition... he also likes to give things like books, CDs, vinyls, DVDs, and VHS tapes!

JOEL: joel is a WOOD CARVER!!! he LOVES making little things out of wood, so he will make little animal figures out of wood that he saws down and whittles. he also is into practical item gift giving as he and adrienne are survivors of the apocalypse so he is secretly hunting for things to give her whenever he's on patrol and stuff!!

FABIAN: fabian writes songs and poems all the time for andie!!! he makes recordings, too, of their shared favorite songs. since he's really bad about going out and shopping, he rarely buys her anything, but she doesn't really like being given material items anyway since it like makes her awkward and anxious and he knows this!

SEVERUS: severus is like a sweets anti... he prefers sour and savory things, 100%. like i will fuck up a bowl of ice cream while he's having raspberry or lemon sorbet. but! he knows that i like cheesecake and he spends a lot of time making them for me on holidays because he does enjoy cooking and baking as it's reminiscent of potioning.

JOEL: sweets are damn hard to come by in the apocalypse but if he can get his hands on them... he doesn't tell anyone so he doesn't have to share. one of the restaurant workers in Jackson teaches adrienne how to make ice cream one summer though because she wants to surprise joel by making him coffee ice cream and he becomes OBSESSED with it.

FABIAN: fabian LOVES chocolate. get this guy a chocolate bar rn... especially german chocolate since it reminds him of home! but he always complains that it's not good enough if it's not actually made in Germany like most of the places in Thailand sell.

SEVERUS: severus is winter's biggest fan. put him outdoors when the first snow of the season hits. he's a summer hater so he is frequently waiting for winter to come around. his only gripe with winter is that his birthday happens during it and he's a birthday anti. but. it is what it is. he loves a good stroll when its snowing! as for what he wears in the winter time, he's wearing big wool sweaters when he's not in his teaching robes. he doesn't like hats and he barely tolerates gloves so the wool sweaters have to be insulated for prime comfortability when he goes on walks!

JOEL: winter is really annoying in the apocalypse; nothing grows (weed), good carving wood is hard to come across, and there's always the threat of violence being less easy to track because of blizzards. however. christmas is a really close holiday to joel's heart, not for religious reasons, but because it's a fond memory to look back on with his daughter. now that adrienne's around, he's actually able to enjoy it again. he loves playing his guitar by the tree while the fire's going. during winter, he wears a big heavy coat, thick water resistant cargo pants, and boots!

FABIAN: since fabian lives in thailand, winter isn't really winter. but, when he visits home, he deliberately avoids going during the cooler months because he doesn't like the cold as it reminds him of his kinda bad childhood! his cooler weather outfits in thailand though typically consist of wool trousers and long sleeve button up shirts!

im actually so excited and hyped that Jennifer's Body ended up getting the most votes in my lil Which Movie Should I Make My Next Disney Princess Tv Photoset Post From cus i cant believe i've owned TWO (2) different physical media formats of that movie in my collection for at least like 2 years now and haven't made a tv post for it yet it's like. One Of The Ultimate Disney Princess Tv Aesthetic Movies Of All Time 💘 i already have specific shots from specific scenes in mind that im gonna try to get clear pics of while im watching it i think it'll end up looking super cool....i think im gonna see how the custom vhs tape version i have of it looks on the tv and see if that copy photographs well on my phone (the vhs tapes i own tend to look better in my photosets than my dvds cus if i dont use one of my computer-to-analog plug converters to crop and/or stretch the dvd movies to fill the screen they get those black widescreen bars on the top and bottom and it looks bad to me in photos lol)

and im excited to see that a lot of the other options i put in the poll got some votes too!! i'll def keep that in mind post-Jennifer's Body Rewatch for additional tv photoset material....Exorcist will for sure be the next one i photograph afterwards i know that one will look awesome with the pink princess screen frame

first of all tysm !!! i love daishou and writing him is just so much fun. here are ur answers! under the cut bc you asked me to infodump and i am simply providing.

8. tell me about your favorite band. go on infodump for me.

anyone who knows me knows that i uh kinda like fall out boy a little bit (read: a lot a bit). this blog started as a fall out boy bandom blog; if u go back far enough in the archive u get some wild love for music stuff. 

BUT it’s on my mind after talking about album art so i’m gonna talk about troye sivan (technically not a band but close enough). so i got into troye in middle school ish and boy did i LATCH on to him. like. certifiably insane abt his music and yt channel. i was @ his first and second tours!! had the absolutely time of my life; fun fact, his first tour was my first concert. 

but when wild was abt to come out, that boy did some crazy promo shit. he did one of those instagram countdowns but (a) wouldn’t tell us what it was for and (b) didn’t use numbers. he posted pictures of circles that gradually got either bigger or smaller idr which as his profile pic. he would drop pics of flower petals drifting across his insta page, which was completely whited out. there was no schedule or anything. he just did it. 

THEN for blue neighborhood, i lost my shit even MORE. he sent us (fans) on a literal WORLDWIDE scavenger hunt to get the first looks at the songs. like u do not understand how absolutely insane it was. we were on twitter trying to sus out the tracklist through a, and i cannot express this enough, worldwide scavenger hunt. and you know what we found. VHS TAPES. it looks like the website was taken down, but there was a tracking system and we worked together on twitter to meet up to play fucking VHS tapes and get the first looks. 

at the time it was fucking INSANE. i LOST my goddamn MIND over all of this !!!! i have genuinely never felt alive in the same way as i did when wild and blue neighborhood were first dropping, and i probably never will again. 

in comparison, the bloom drop was disappointing af. man. they just don’t make em like 2016 album drops anymore. 

i’m no longer as into troye as i was (i still adore blue neighborhood and wild, but his new music isn’t as much my thing), but this was so insane and i just remembered all of it, so i gotta talk abt it w someone. god. i was literally on twitter talking to ppl from australia about a vhs tape they found under a bridge or some shit. insane.
