I know I've said Courtney Cox was Chrysta's irl face claim [for those who'd like to imagine her with an actual 'live action' face considering I haven't shown mine] but in all honesty I feel like I've found a lot better face claims for her as I've been searching and exploring- especially finding some that actually fit her crazy curly hair and big eyes. Darlin pulling Sam behind them at any sign of confrontation or threat. Darlin pulling literally anyone, including David, behind them in a percieved dangerous situation. They've always been the protector type, a defense between anyone they care about or needs help regardless of how dangerous the situation is. When Darlin did it for the first time around Sam, he thought it was because they were self-sacrificial or thought he couldn't protect himself. Later on Sam realized that it was instinct to Darlin, a way to assure anyone with them that they were cared for and protected no matter what the issue was. Darlin knew Sam could protect himself, but that didn't mean that they wouldn't do everything in their power to protect him before it was necessary for him to step in. It was their way of showing love, respect, or even that they cared in ways they couldn't say aloud.
