Hello JJBA fans! Welcome to this blog's first (and most certainly not only-) favorite character tournament! Before the polls start I'll answer a few questions about this tournament beforehand! Note that this post will be pinned, updated with questions if they are continuously asked, and will be the master post for the poll links and results!

"Why are there non-protag jojos? Why these characters specifically?" It's all for funsies! All of the characters chosen are related to the Joestars, whether directly by blood or by sheer technicality, and were picked based on what I (the artist and creator of the JoJo tournament idea) thought would be the most interesting!

"What is the 'Loser's Second Wind'?" To prevent TOTALLY clogging the brackets with non-protags I took out contestant spots and instead replaced them with a "Revival Round." Hello! How are you ? I wanted to ask you what is your interpretation of Tommy and Lizzie's relationship, in S5 and S6? I never saw love, from Tommy, but Lizzie's fans did, so what are your thoughts?

Firstly, I apologize for my late response. I'd hoped to reply sooner, but my phone almost died last week and I had to reset it to factory settings. I'm glad I had had the forethought to create my own cloud storage for photos, but unfortunately I hadn't done it for my text notes, so I lost them all. I found it out the next day and coped with it very badly tbh (crying was included). I have to re-write my latest notes now.

Back to your question. I'm surprised this is still relevant. 'Tommy and Lizzie' isn't my favourite paring of the show, as far as you know if you read my blog. So analysing them is my own sort of torture. S3 itself and Tommy's interactions with Lizzie are my pet peeve. I don't even know where I should begin. For a start, let me tell you about my favourite description of Lizzie which I read a long time ago but I still find it very accurate "the old girlfriend Tommy drunk dials when he's feeling lonely late at night" (x).

Tommy bends her over a desk sleeps with Lizzie because sex is his coping mechanism. This guy cries through his dick into Tatiana or Lizzie. He even declares she was saving his heart from breaking. Honestly, these words are like nails on a chalkboard. It's so disrespectful on so many levels. Firstly, to Grace. Oi, you moron, the love of your life died (because of you btw) few months ago, it usually causes heartbreak! Secondly, to Lizzie. You say you still pay her for sex and make it known in front of the entire family and therefore humiliate her.

There were no reasons for them to reunite in s4. It's been said, I see no logic in the narrative. Especially in Lizzie's actions.

They get married for two reasons: 1) Lizzie is pregnant, 2) it can be useful and very handy for Tommy's political career. He uses her, again. As benefit, he can shift the responsibility for raising Charlie to Lizzie, because he's fully aware of what a terrible father he really is. She's a useful decoration as a mother and wife. Lizzie knows his condition and wants to help him, but he doesn't let her in. There's a huge gap between them. In 5th season I didn't see any hints of love. It was mostly about his possessiveness ('he lays a fucking hand on you, he will be meat for Johnny Dogs') or his ego ('he spoke badly to my wife').

In s6 we see that they've become a more ordinary family. He works, she is being a mother. He keeps cheating on her. She accepts it. But here's more understanding between them and Ruby's disease brings them closer for a short time, but when she dies, Tommy has sex with Diana, Lizzie is humiliated in front of people (again), they become even more distant and Lizzie hits the bottom and leaves him.

Lizzie is in love with Tommy since s2. Tommy uses Lizzie since s1. I don't think he will ever be in love with her. But he grew to love her as a person, as a friend and this is a VERY big part of his development as a character. Because he never cared about any woman anyone who isn't related to him or who isn't Grace. He loves Lizzie, but not in a romantic way. Tommy always only used her for his own purposes and he never was kind or compassionate towards her, but in s6 he cares about her so that's why he says she doesn't deserve him and doesn't deserve to share his fate. That's why he tells Diana he isn't upset that Lizzie left him. Because he loves her and she is dear to him. He is deeply grateful for everything she's done for him and he defends her from Mosley's offensive comments even when Lizzie can't hear it. Don't get me wrong, anon, I don't justify his actions and his speech doesn't make him a saint. What he's done is beyond to be fixed and he should've thought of the consequences earlier.

I know this is a very sketchy analysis because I simply didn't want to go into depth. But I hope I managed to answer your questions.

Veronica “Randy” Crawford (born February 18, 1952) is a jazz and R&B singer. She has appeared on the Hot 100 singles chart twice. The first time was in 1979 as a guest vocalist on The Crusaders’ top-40 hit “Street Life”. She dueted with Rick Springfield on the song “Taxi Dancing”, which hit #59 as the B-side of Springfield’s hit “Bop Til You Drop”. She has had five top-20 hits in the UK, including her 1980 #2 hit, “One Day I’ll Fly Away”, as well as six UK top-10 albums. She won Best British Female Solo Artist in recognition of her popularity in the UK at the 1982 Brit Awards. She received her first two Grammy Award nominations.

She first performed at club gigs from Cincinnati to Saint-Tropez but made her name in the mid-1970s in New York, where she sang with jazzmen George Benson and Cannonball Adderley. She signed with Columbia Records and released her first single, “Knock On Wood” / “If You Say the Word” in 1972. Adderley invited her to sing on his album, Big Man: The Legend Of John Henry (1975). She recorded “Don’t Get Caught in Love’s Triangle”. She is one of the vocalists on Fred Wesley & The Horny Horns’ A Blow For Me, A Toot To You.

She sang vocals on “Hoping Love Will Last”, the opening song on side two of Please Don’t Touch! She was named the ‘Most Outstanding Performer’ at the 1980 Tokyo Music Festival. She recorded the love theme (“People Alone”) for the film soundtrack of The Competition.

Her follow-up solo efforts included “You Might Need Somebody”, which became soul standards. The album, Secret Combination stayed on the UK Albums Chart for sixty weeks, despite a return to the UK Top Ten with “Almaz”. She released another hit, “One Hello”, from the album Windsong. Naked And True brought her back to her roots: it included “Give Me the Night”.

She recorded a live session with Joe Sample. She has sung with Bootsy Collins, Johnny Bristol, Quincy Jones, Al Jarreau, Rick Springfield, Katri Helena, Michael Kamen, Zucchero, David Sanborn, Steve Hackett, the Spanish band Presuntos Implicados, the Norwegian jazz-rock band Lava and Joe Sample amongst others. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

hello once again i am here to share a Stilwaterian oddity. The Saints Rulebook is a small booklet that came with the Australian collector’s edition of Saints Row 2 (called The Initiation Pack). very similar to the sr1 manual which was written from Troy’s perspective, the Rulebook is an interesting little piece of out-of-game Saints Lore if not for the actual content then at least in execution:  it was mainly written by (probably) Boss, Johnny and the lieutenants for newly canonized members of their gang.

Pairing: jyunichi x ronin! female reader (M/F)

Warnings: PG13 makeout, graphic violence, language

Description: See ask. I transition from scene to scene to limit my word count to important parts. You are Jyunichi's right hand, he is informally training you and has been since the Ronin first came to Stilwater. You're coming to terms with your feelings with each other.

Your jaw clenches, a bead of sweat dripping into your brow as you plunge your blade into his sternum. He barely has a chance to scream before you tear it out, kicking him aside as you impale the Samedi to your left. You have to get closer for this one. You can smell his bargain brand cologne mixed with his sweat, and a mixture of cannabis and chocolate on his breath. At least he had a good last meal. Not that this was something you'd want to experience while on an edible.

His body falls, leaving you panting and your katana dripping. No matter how many times you see it, it always amazes you how much liquid is in a body. Will you ooze like that when you're gone? Destroy the floor you die on? Will someone fight as desperately as these guys did to avenge you when you fall?

"Very good. Your technique is improving." Jyunichi states, you can feel your eyes widening. How close is he standing to you?? You blink, trying to keep your face as blank as possible as you slowly turn to face him and the rest of the bodies.

"Thank you, sir." You breathe with a small smile, bowing your head. He offers a node back. You let out an exhale, trying to keep your breath from shaking. There are a few other Ronin members, chuckling and chattering about how "easy" their fights were, but while you've all won it was not without casualties. No victories came without sacrifice. You knew that, it was one of the first lessons Jyunichi taught you.

He's been your instructor for a few years now. You joined up with the Ronin as soon as you got word they were coming. Your mother was a member in Japan before she moved to the States to raise you. There have been rumors floating around that the elder Akuji, the OG if you will, was on his way. Which wouldn't surprise you in the slightest, considering how poorly Shogo was handling the return of the Saints.

Jyunichi repeats your name. You blink wildly, turning away from the passenger window.

"Yes? I apologize, my mind has been elsewhere." You state. He mutters something in Japanese.

"What do you think about going to Kanto? We haven't been there in some time." He asks huskily. Your face tightens.

"Maybe another time."

"You haven't drunk with us in weeks. Why? " He says in a low tone. You purse your lips. Why? Because you've been avoiding him after you watched him snap a table in half shirtless and with his bare fucking hands when he heard that the casino had been robbed by Johnny fucking Gat. Because if the stress of fixing Shogo's fuck-ups wasn't enough, you also had to avoid being alone and drunk with your mentor because you know what you're fucking like when you're drunk.

"Not since the casino. I don't need to reward myself for Ronin's mistakes." You grimace, stone-faced and staring out the windshield.

"Then let me reward you for your progress." Jyunichi breathes. Your eyes widen as you turn to him just as takes a turn. Both catch you by surprise and the next thing you know your face is mere inches away from his neck. Jyunichi sighs, effortlessly holding you by your collar bone with one arm. Your cheeks start to flush as you inhale his cologne. You could kiss him right now. You could just grab his hand from your chest and kiss him in his own fucking car. He did say he wanted to reward you...

"Put on your seatbelt." He says, his eyes softening. You swallow and let him hold you there for another moment before you follow his orders. You know that if you had let your inhibitions go for that moment, it would be the last time you kissed him too. It was better to wait. Or at least that's what you tell yourself.

"And for you?" The server asks, looking expectantly at you. You let out a small huff.

"The same, but with a chicken katsu." She nods, leaving the two of you.

"You said we were going with others." You comment, taking a sip of your lager.

"I said nothing of the sort."

"You implied it." You surmise, raising a brow. Jyunichi purses his lips, taking a drink.

"Maybe so, but you needed a break."

"A break? From what? Watching you lie to and decapitate a woman?" You sneer.

"You killed more than I today."

"Yeah, and it was much more impressive because they weren't tied up in their own living rooms."

"What are you getting at?" Jyunichi's leans in closer, his eyes narrowing.

"Nothing." You chuckle, shaking your head. You just wanted to see if you could get a rise out of him. You take another sip, leaning towards him as you turn. Jyunichi's much closer than you were expecting, you can see the faint wrinkles around his eyes, the bags and stress lines that working for Shogo has rewarded him with. But he hasn't faltered, not once. You wonder how many people have seen those big brown eyes this close and lived to tell the tale.

"Nothing? Are you sure about that?" He asks, chewing on each syllable. Your heartbeat quickens.

"Maybe I'm just jealous." You chide, leaning in closer as your cheeks start to flush again. He slowly smirks, leaning into your ear and resting his right arm on the back of your chair as he sits to your left. You can feel his warm breath on your lobe and smell the sake on his lips. His thumb gently caresses your back.

"Of?" He breathes. You chuckle, strands of hair falling into your face. He simpers.

"Ask me again after dinner." You utter, turning into him and grinning. Jyunichi chortles, his hand migrating to your back. His lips brush up against your neck as his grip tightens and he pulls you closer.

"I don't think I will." Jyunichi breathes as he kisses your collarbone. Your eyes flutter shut for a moment as your heart pounds in your chest.

"Why? You think I'm just going to eat your cock instead?" You surmise with a sneer, raising a brow. Jyunichi's eyes go wide as he stifles a laugh.

"If that's what you're offering-" Jyunichi starts before letting out a groan as you jab him in the sternum. He sticks his fingers into your waist in retort causing you to yelp as he presses his lips onto yours. Your hand wraps around his upper thigh, squeezing him. Jyunichi's reaches his other arm to your neck, knocking your drink over. Jyunichi presses is tongue further into you, stifling a laugh as he consumes you.

With each passing second you fall further away from consciousness, slipping into his arms. The bar was almost empty, but it didn't matter anyway. His fingers press into your waist, his other hand gently holding you neck. Do you want to end up in his lap? Yes, but not now. You press your fingers into his thigh, holding his face with your left arm.

🖊- she's not originally from Stilwater/Steelport, she was born and raised in LA then moved to Seattle for her first group/gang. She came to Stilwater bc the Brotherhood was harassing her uncle and his autoshop bc of protection money so flew to keep him and his business safe

🖊- she's a musician and knows how to play different instruments like guitar, bass and piano, singing plus DJing. she produces her of music and has a whole set up in her apartment

🖊- she owns a second club her original gang owns but it's located in Steelport called Heavenly Bodies, Chris also co-owns it and helps financial stuff. She hires local artist and musicians to play there so to spotlight new and underground talent, but she performs on occasion too!

🖊- he originally would've went to Chicago w his childhood best friend and start a new life there but he stayed in Stilwater after having a falling out w everyone and he ended up joining the saints after

🖊- Johnny, Aisha and close family are really the only ones who actually calls him Chris in private instead of Boss

🖊- after the deaths in 1 and 2 he got really bad ptsd and surviors guilt, by the time 3 rolled around he had to go and get help finally bc he was really struggling bad abt the past, he eventually gets clean/sober while going thru therapy as well

🖊- he has three dogs, Queenie a bull terrier, Prince and pit bull and Goober a german shepard, he also has a cat named Machete and a rabbit named ping pong lmfao he just really loves animals and giving them the dumbest names ever
