It was no secret that Sage was his fathers son. He loved music and he loved his toy piano. Gardenia was her mothers daughter. She loved makeup and all things girly. Josh had gone on tour and was very upset he couldn’t bring his whole family.

The 3 of you facetimed him every night. He always looked so sad whenever we had to hang up, either Sage and Gardenia were tired, or he had to go on stage. He often called to show you his rhinestones and his outfit. Every night before he went on stage, he called and told you three that he loved you and that he'd be home soon.

You were getting the kids to bed when your phone rang. Gardenia said, “I'll get it Mommy!” and ran to your phone. She answered it and Jake’s face appeared. You heard him gasp and say, “Hiii Sunshine! Can you hand the phone to your mom?” You heard the pitter patter of 3 year old feet and in came Gardenia. She handed the phone to you and you saw Jake. “Hey Y/N. We seriously need to talk about Josh.” 

He noticed the color drain from your face and assured you, nothing was bad. You told him, “I'm putting your niece and nephew to sleep right now, give me one second!” He told you to do what you need to do.

After you read them a book and got them to sleep, you picked up the phone and called Jake back. 

“Is he okay, what's wrong?” you asked.

He frowned and said, “He's really depressed. He misses you guys so much. I have to share a room with him, he thinks I don't hear him cry in the shower but I can. Is there a way you can come see him?” 

You nodded and said, “I can try to take time off work. I'll have to let the daycare know. I'll let you know when we are coming.” 

He smiled and said, “We all miss you, we miss our niece and nephew.” 

You told him, “When's the next show?” 

He said, “two days.”

“We’ll be there.” 

You said bye to Jake and called your boss. You explained everything to him and he said to take as long as you needed to. 

You went upstairs and showered, did skincare and went to bed. You had already talked to Josh and they would have been on stage already. You picked out Josh's favorite movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey. 

You had fallen asleep halfway through and you were woken up by your alarm. You turned your lamp on and checked your phone, no messages. 

You put your slippers on and made your way to their room. You walked in and saw them, both awake, playing with toys. Sage was playing with his piano, and Gardenia was on their shared iPad. Very much like his father, Sage disliked technology. 

You told them it was time to go downstairs and eat breakfast. You grabbed the iPad and put it on the charger while they went downstairs. You asked them what they wanted and they said pancakes.

You gathered all the ingredients to make them some pancakes. You had an incoming phone call from Josh. You handed your phone to Sage and he answered.

You finished making their pancakes and plated them with some cut up bananas and strawberries. 

You put their plates in front of them and handed them two glasses of milk. Josh noticed your hands come into frame and said. “Hey mama,” you smiled and grabbed the phone. “Hi hun, how'd you sleep?” 

“Terribly, I'm not next to you.”

You sighed and said, “Yeah, it's not easy taking care of two of Josh Kiszka’s children by yourself”

He laughed and said, “I miss you guys so much. Do you know if you're coming to a show or not?”

You shook your head and said, “I dont know”

He sighed and let you get back to your morning. “Alright, well I love you guys. Miss you! Kisses” and hung up.

You had gotten them dressed first and then got yourself dressed. You had packed their lunches the night before, so all you had to do was get their water bottles ready. Contrary to Josh, you were never late, so you grabbed their backpacks and lunches and put them in the car while they put their shoes on. 

They came out to the garage after saying goodbye to Lumpy, their fish, and got into the car. You buckled them in and got in the front seat. 

You drove them to daycare and got out to take them in. When you checked them in, you explained everything to the receptionist and she got them put in as absent for the next few days.

You went home and cleaned the house, packed bags, and made arrangements with your sister to come over and feed the fish. You decided to get your nails done and run to Target. Little did you know, Josh had you pulled up on Life360. He called you while you were pulling into the parking lot. 

“Why are you at Target?”

“Are you stalking me?”

“Yes. We don't need anything else from Target. Why aren't you at work?”

You felt your cheeks heat up and you had to come up with a lie, fast.

“Got the day off last minute, didn't feel good last night”

“What? What's wrong? What's happening? Are you pregnant?”

“Nothings wrong. Nothing's happening. No, I'm not pregnant.”

“Okay, what are you getting at Target? Can you get me a body wash?”

“What is this, 21 questions? Yes, I can get you body wash. I'm about to go in, so I'm gonna need to hang up Count Stalkula.”

He laughed and said, “Thank you for the body wash, Elisabeta.”

You smiled at his answer and told him you loved him. He said it back and left you to do your unnecessary Target shopping.

You stopped at the kids section first, getting Sage some shorts and Gardenia a few shirts. You saw a fluffy bear jacket and HAD to get them, you got two off the rack. You made your way to the stationary section, and got coloring books, colored pencils, markers, and crayons. 

You saw the dangerous section, home goods. You traveled down the mug aisle and grabbed 4 cute mugs that you think the boys would like. You got Jake a guitar mug, Sammy a piano mug, Danny a golf mug, and Josh a Dad mug. You looked at the home decor they had and got a few new pillows. You found some cute throw blankets and put two in the cart for the kids beds. 

You went to hygiene and got Josh his favorite patchouli body wash. You got yourself the new Native Gummy Bear body wash. You also got some kids curl shampoo and conditioner. You went over to the toy section and found some wooden toys. Sage had always thrown plastic ones and they didn't hold up as well as wood. You checked the time and saw it was nearly time for your nails.

You went to check out and paid for everything. You returned the cart and made your way out to the car.

You approached the nail salon and just went with simple pink. You finished up and paid and went to the daycare.

You picked up your little buggers and took them home. You planned on telling them tonight that they were going to visit their dad and uncles. By the time you got home, it was around 3:00pm. You unpacked their lunches and checked their folders for any homework. 

You asked them if they wanted to watch a movie and they ran to the couch and put on Moana. You made them some popcorn and got them juice boxes. 

When the movie finished, it was dinner time. You made chicken alfredo with roasted squash. You cut up their vegetables and got them some baby forks. Gardenia looked at you and said, “Mama, this is really good.” You smiled and thanked her. 

After dinner had finished, you told them to put their listening ears on. “Listen, tomorrow you guys aren't going to school, because we are going to see Daddy!” Sage shot up in his chair and said ‘Really Mama?! Were going to see him? And Uncle Jake and Uncle Sam, and Uncle Danny?” You nodded as they both came over to you and hugged you. You told them you had already packed their bags and that they would be leaving in the morning. You weren't very far from the show, so you were going to drive. 

You cleaned up from dinner while they did their homework at the kitchen table, telling them if they needed help, that they could ask you.

Sage came over and asked, “Mama, can you help me with this?” You shut off the sink and nodded. You went over to the kitchen table and sat down next to him. He looked at you and said, “I can't figure this problem out.” You held up ten fingers and told him, “Put down three fingers for me.” He pressed them down and you told him to count how many were left. He wrote down a seven on his paper. You asked them if they needed any more help and Gardenia asked you to check her paper. You checked it and told her they were all correct. 

Sage sighed and tapped you, “Mama, is this right?” You shook your head no and he put his head down. “How come I'm not as smart as Gardenia?” You gasped slightly and said, “It's alright, you're still learning.” He looked at you and said, “No, we are learning the same thing and she's better at it than I am.” You grabbed his hands and said, “Listen Sage, no one is perfect at everything. You will get there Sage, okay?” He nodded and you sat there and helped him.

Once he had finished, you checked it and told him they were all right. He smiled and hugged you. You got them two bowls of ice cream with cherries on top. 

You told them after ice cream that it was bathtime. When they finished, you put the bowls into the dishwasher and told them to go pick out their clothes. 

When you got upstairs, you heard them talking about how excited they were to see their dad. You went into their bathroom and got the water ready and pulled out the bath toys. 

When they had finished up, you got them in their pajamas and brushed out their hair and read them a book. Once they had fallen asleep, you walked into your room and packed your own bag. 

After you packed, you went to your vanity and took off your makeup. You changed into pajamas and went to bed.

Sadly, you had to wake up at 6:00am this morning to make sure you had everything you needed. You grabbed all the bags and packed the car. 

You went back inside and made a pot of coffee. You heard footsteps and down came Sage. “Hi mama,” he said and walked over to give you a morning hug. “Hi baby” You smiled and hugged him tight. He might be his fathers son, but he really is a mama's boy. 

Once Gardenia had gotten downstairs, you had started breakfast. You made eggs, toast, and bacon. 

You had finished cleaning up from breakfast as they both came down dressed and ready for the car ride. You packed the two blankets you got for them in the backseat of the car. You had already gotten dressed in the comfiest clothes. You packed snacks and water for the car ride. You told them it was time to get in the car. 

.You already packed their car bag. It had extra clothes, the iPad, and handheld toys.

You got them strapped in and put their blankets on them. You got in the car and put your belt on. You told Jake you were on the way. You put the directions into the GPS and pulled out. You made your way to the highway and took I-40 E all the way to Charlotte.

You made a few stops on the way, letting Jake know where you were and that you were closer.

You checked into a different hotel for 1 night, considering you were going to be seeing him tomorrow during the day. 

When you got to your hotel, you told Jake your room number and told him he could come to the room. 

You heard a knock and you opened the door. You welcomed him with open arms. He ran over to Sage and Gardenia and scooped each of them in his arms. “Uncle Jakey!” They said, simultaneously at the same time. He rubbed both their backs and gave hugs. He put them down and hugged you. 

“Thank you for coming. He misses you guys so much.” You smiled and said, “We miss him too. We cant wait to see him”

Jake had left to get ready for the show. 

You got ready for the show, dressing in white and gold, the same colors of the jumpsuit he was wearing tonight. You got them dressed in 70s groove, equipped with some sunglasses. 

When you got to the venue, you were in Jake's dressing room, waiting to surprise Josh on stage. Jake had told Josh that he wanted to hand out the roses tonight. Josh said yes, not knowing that it would be his children bringing them to him. 

Danny and Sam had come in to see you three. Danny hugged you first as Sam gravitated to the twins. 

Once everything was in order, it was time for them to go on stage. They hugged you and went off to stage.

“When do we get to see Daddy?” Gardenia had asked you.

You looked at her and told her, just a few more minutes.

Jake had a TV in his dressing room, so you put on Spongebob for them. You sat at his vanity as you asked Jenn for some rhinestones. She put rhinestones on your face, identical to his. Jenn got a call on her walkie, saying it was time. 

You picked up the roses and handed them to Gardenia and Sage. You put headphones on them to protect their ears from the sound.

The three of you made your way to the stage. As you approached the entrance, Jake came over and grabbed their hands. He walked up on stage as you followed. You could see Josh, and you saw him fall to his knees. They ran to him, forgetting about the roses. He scooped them into his arms and embraced them tightly. You saw him wipe his face off and he made his way over to you. He grabbed your waist and put his hand on your back. “Mama,” he said, quiet enough for you to hear.

The audience went wild when you came out, feeling all the love in the world.

Josh picked up the roses and put Sage in his left arm and Gardenia in his right. He had them help him hand them out. 

The show had ended and Josh grabbed your hand and led your mini family to his dressing room. Considering the show was late, by the time you guys got back to Josh's hotel room, your two beautiful babies were asleep on one of the beds. Jake offered to sleep in Sam and Danny’s room tonight, not wanting to disturb the Kiszka Family.

Josh had asked you to take off his rhinestones. 

He sat on the bed with his back against the headboard. You sat on his lap with makeup wipes and tweezers. You plucked off each little rhinestone and put them into a cup. You grabbed the makeup wipes and wiped his face off from the glue. 

He put his head on your chest and looked at his children. “God I missed you guys so much.” You smiled and kissed his head. You got off of him and put clothes in the bathroom for him. You made him tea while he showered. He got out and came into the room. You had taken off your rhinestones and got changed into your pajamas. 

He sat on the bed and did grabby hands towards you. You stood between his legs and threaded your fingers through his hair. He moaned into your stomach and wrapped his arms around your waist and grabbed your butt. Gardenia moved around and Josh immediately took his head away to make sure she was alright.

He put his head back onto you and mumbled, “I missed you Mama.” You kissed his head and told him you missed him too.

He rested his chin on your stomach and looked up at you. You kissed his lips, grabbed his hands, and held them.

He looked at his babies then back at you and said, “home sweet home.”

Cycle 307

The five times Kaizo forgets his birthday, and the one time he doesn’t.

i.

Kaizo is sixteen when he first forgets.

Granted, he forgets a lot of things these days, but none of which he actually means to. He's taking his time with the mask, and while the side-effects aren't disabling, they're not exactly productive, either. It's annoying, how the memories he wants buried stay vividly clear, but Imus forbid he remember his own naming day.

So when his grandfather walks in the training room, a whole shift early and wondering why he hasn't started cleaning up, his first response is a very eloquent, "What?"

The general stares at him. "We're going to the plaza."

"...why?"

"It's your naming day," the man says with a slight frown, watching as Kaizo blinks in realization.

"Oh. Right."

"You forgot." It's not a question.

Kaizo hums, looking back at the sentinel he's pinning on the wall. He releases his hold and ends the simulation with a quick command, idly watching the bot sink back to the floor. He can still feel his grandfather watching him, but he honestly doesn't know what to say.

It was his choice to keep the mask, and the consequences were something he just had to live with.

He settles with a simple, "It's a work in progress."

Kaizo meets his grandfather's eyes, lets the other search his face for a few moments, and waits. His mouth quirks upward when he gets a small nod, knowing that the general has seen his resolve. Out of habit, he does a quick salute, before heading off to his room for a quick shower.

Training can wait; for now, he has a celebration to attend.

ii.

There are... things outside his room.

Kaizo is barely back from his latest mission when he spots the colorful mess in the hallway. He was gone for a couple of lunar cycles to patrol the Latsyrk quadrants, having picked up a couple of frequencies that belonged to powerspheres.

He'd managed to collect five of them before deciding to head home, which is how he finds himself in this current situation.

Frowning at the storage blocks scattered at his doorway, Kaizo wonders if someone dropped them, before pushing the thought away. Everyone in the East Wing knows where his room is, if only to avoid it. He's not the... kindest of people, especially after long-term missions. He blames Bora Ra for that one.

Upon closer inspection, he notices one that looks like Maya's. Bronze has always been the mechanic's color, so he picks that one up, half convinced that it's safe. If anything ever happens to him, he can always drop by her shop for an unannounced visit.

He's turning the cube over when he notices the storage date, then everything clicks.

Oh, Kaizo thinks. It was my naming day.

He hadn't really been paying attention to the date recently, but he supposed those close to him still did. Pressing the release button, Kaizo steps back just in time to catch a metallic blue slab, sleek sides tapered off to a handle.

He shifts to hold it properly and watches as it morphs around his arm to form an ion blaster.

Maya really doesn't hold back, Kaizo thinks, smirking at the possibilities for his next mission. The sword may be his preferred medium, but even he wouldn't refuse something with twice the power. He shuts it down before grabbing the other blocks still at his feet, wondering what the others got him as he finally enters his room.

iii

He's still bleeding.

Kaizo pants as he stares at the wound on his side. With a grunt, he lets his head thunk back on the tree behind him and tries to catch his breath, fairly content with being idle for the first time in two cycles. He knows Lahap enough to assume that the lieutenant has kept the data chip safe, so for now, he has only one problem.

He counts to ten before trying again.

"Xek'trs," Kaizo hisses, voice sharp in his mother tongue as he presses his activated sword against his side. It's one of the messier ways to deal with his injuries, but the wound has been bleeding enough to make him worried. He'll have to clean up better once they get out of the system.

It's after the fourth try that he finally manages to cauterize the cut successfully.

Damn Iaku and their traps, he thinks darkly, remembering how their target had worked with bounty hunters. It's not every day that they went to a mission with half the specs they needed, but this one happened to be more of a surprise than the captain was expecting.

Absentmindedly, he thinks how bad of a surprise it was.

He doesn't exactly remember the day.

iv.

There's a missed call, and from a direct line.

Kaizo narrows his eyes at the yellow triangle blinking on the screen. There are three options: either he's been found out, his planet is under attack, or it's a really important tip that he's been waiting for from the few contacts he has.

Whichever it is, he's going to have to call back.

Pulling up a few lines of code, Kaizo sets a frequency. The holographic display lights up a few moments later, and on it is -

"Aeron?"

From the screen, a guy visibly lights up as he signs a greeting. Kaizo offers a quick smile, before asking, "What's with the call?" He watches as the other signs, brows raising with the speed and every cut-off sentence as the man on the other line turns more sheepish.

"A," Kaizo interrupts after the fifth attempt is waved off, "As funny as this is, can you at least tell me if there's a problem?"

Aeron freezes mid-motion, before slowly signing, 'no.'

"Okay." Kaizo blinks. "Why'd you call, then?"

"He wanted to greet you, idiot."

Kaizo can't help the smirk that makes its way on his face at the reply. "Still ratting people out, greaser?" he asks, waving off Aeron's panic at Maya's sudden comment, "Same as always, I see." There's a snort, and Kaizo can practically hear the eyeroll in her reply.

"So are you. You would've forgotten your naming day if A hadn't called."

"Fair enough."

v.

"Captain?"

"Yes?"

"Do you... think we could visit home?"

Kaizo looks up to see Fang staring at the ground, hands fiddling with his gloves. It's a little amusing how nervous his brother still gets around him, though it's not surprising, with all that he's done. He's not exactly the best sibling in the world.

Although -

"I don't see why not," he says, tilting his head at how the other seems to perk up at that. "Something important?"

Fang blinks at his question, before looking away and mumbling, "Sort of."

Interesting.

If he's going to be honest, the last thing Kaizo expected Fang to be worried about was his naming day celebration.

Their parents had been surprised, to say at least, but so was he when Fang pressed to have the trip in a cycle. Kaizo watches as his brother talks animatedly with their parents, telling them about adventures he had with his friends.

It's... nice, seeing them again.

Though it's not something I can always afford, Kaizo thinks.

He stares at his soup as he takes another sip.

So, the kids know when his naming day is.

But did they really have to do this? Kaizo thinks, three parts amused as he stares down at the pile of... presents outside his ship's control room. The other fourth of him is feeling an odd sense of déjà vu, but that's mostly ignored for the shocked look on his lieutenant's face.

"Lahap," he says, startling the other to attention, "You start the ship."

The lieutenant makes a face. "Captain?"

"I'll deal with it," he replies, crouching to pick up the a-little-too-bright bundle. Color-coded, he assumes, eyes automatically finding his brother's gift, as well as Boboiboy's. There are three green packages, though, so he assumes that the twins were in this, too.

Really, what is it with people and naming days.

a bunch of important notes (read: headcanons) for those who are confused:

- i have this headcanon that kaizo’s grandfather is a general??? idk, it sounded pretty cool, and kaizo had to get his military background from someone

- another headcanon: kaizo’s mask is an incomplete weapon, kind of like a prototype, so sometimes it messes with his brain and makes him forget things

- birthdays are called naming days in their planet (as features in another fic of mine).

- edit because i forgot ajjsjahs: Imus is one of their planet’s three major deities 

- when he’s not at home, kaizo stays in the garrison. his room is in the east wing.

- Latsyrk quadrants: a bunch of quadrants opposite from the one that has kaizo’s planet.

-  Xek'trs: made up curse word because i want kaizo and fang to speak alien languages!!! or something, just let them have a mother language, please.

- Iaku: another made up thing, but now an alien race. they’re known for hunting, hence the traps.

- maya and aeron are my ocs!!! read more about them here. 

- ps. i know very little about interstellar communication omg, im sorry sdjfhsdak

- the kids would totally give the captain gifts, if they found out about his birthday. they’d throw him a party, but they’re not close enough, and most of them can see that kaizo isn’t one for huge celebrations.

- gifts the kids probably gave: tea (from boboiboy, and yes, he asked fang to help), a cupcake (from yaya, bUT DON’T WORRY, THE OTHERS HELPED), a pin (from ying, and it definitely says ‘rebel’), a glass figurine (it’s kaizo’s sword, gopal didn’t know what to give but his friends kept bothering him, give him a break), new gloves (from fang, because kaizo actually goes through them pretty quickly), and alien tech (sai gave him the latest comm link in the market, and shielda gave him a holopad, also the latest in the market)

a/n: i feel very conflicted about this because i feel like i haven’t shown my view of kaizo as well as i wished??? but thats because too much of what i have are headcanons and i cant write well enough without making you guys confused??? anyway, this doesnt look like it fits the theme much either, but hear me out: the thing that makes it not-so-happy is that kaizo doesnt really care for his naming day. it - it would’ve made sense had i published my first entry for kaizo week, but then it would need more explaining and its 1 am and i need to sleep. bUT ANYWAY, i hope u guys at least enjoyed the fic skdjfhjksa

Simeon x Reader - Promises

(Y/N) pov:

ACHOO! Ugh. I grab another Kleenex and once more blow my nose. I'm all congested, my throat is past the point of no return, I feel like I can barely breathe, and the cold is seeping into my very bones. I'm going to have to tell Lucifer that I can't make it to RAD. I'm barely able to stay awake.

"(Y/N)? Come one! You'll be late for breakfast and there'll be nothing left." exclaims Mammon as he barges into my room.

I try to talk, but it ends up in a coughing fit. "Mammon. Get. Lucifer." I whisper.

Mammon's eyes widen and he jets out of the room as fast as possible. I can barely hear his feet hitting the ground. In a matter of seconds, I faintly hear several feet and voices heading this way. Quietly, the door swings open and uncharacteristically, there is no noise.

Gently, an un-gloved hand touches my forehead. "She's terribly sick," states Lucifer softly. "Asmo. Get Solomon, we need his human knowledge."

After that, I drifted off to sleep. I just couldn't keep my eyes open. Everything feels heavy and sluggish. I just can't seem to function at all.

Third-person pov:

Once (Y/N) had fallen asleep, the brothers quickly got to work. They layered her in blankets, warmed up her room temperature, and Lucifer anxiously called a doctor. Partway through all of this, they were joined by Solomon.

Solomon, very carefully, began to assess your sick state. Much to his displeasure, he was of little help. "She needs that doctor. Now."

Thankfully the doctor came soon after to also examine you. Which is what resulted in you being rushed to the hospital and put on immediate breathing assistance with medicine. You were so tired that you had no way to register any of the changes in your location or state of health.

Simeon pov:

I wonder where (Y/N) is? I haven't seen her all day. Come to think of it, I haven't seen the brothers either or Solomon. It's weird. The bell just rang for lunch, and I'm so used to her presence.

Quickly I chide myself. That's unholy and greedy. She is an independent woman and my girlfriend. She can handle herself just fine... but I'm still worried. Sliding in next to me, Luke starts to eat his lunch.

"Luke." I inquire. "Have you by any chance seen (Y/N) today?"

He shakes his little head, part of a cupcake shoved into his mouth. "No. She hasn't been in any of our classes this morning."

"Hmmm."

Noticing my hum, Luke quickly looks towards me. "I'm certain she's fine Simeon. It's (Y/N) after all and while I hate to admit it, the brothers do take great care of her. Maybe something came up in the human world."

"I don't think so," I respond fastly. "Something's wrong. I can just feel it."

In Private Chat with Lucifer

Simeon: Lucifer sorry to bother you, but (Y/N) hasn't been in school all day. Is everything alright?

Lucifer: No. She's in the hospital. When Mammon went to wake her up this morning she was... in bad condition. We aren't sure about anything at this moment in time.

Simeon: I NEED TO BE THERE WITH MY GIRLFRIEND! Can you PLEASE get me out of class? Lucifer! I'm begging you!

Lucifer: I just sent a text to Lord Diavolo informing him of the situation. He says that you are dismissed.

Simeon has gone offline

Standing up, I sprint as fast as I can out of the lunchroom. I don't care that I left behind my backpack, and Luke can take well enough care of himself as far as I'm concerned. Or should I say that Barbatos can take good enough care of Luke? After all, he swiftly sat down with little Luke at the lunch table. Regardless, they'll be fine. Right now, my little lamb needs me.

I pick up speed, not even really looking where I'm going. I'm running into people, and the picked-up wind of the incoming storm nips at my heels. My coat/cloak (not sure what to call it. If you guys have any ideas hit me in the chat) starts to have a mind of its own and whips around and into my face, but I don't stop. Why? Because I can't. (Y/N), my precious (Y/N), needs me right now.

Coming up to the hospital, I can see Lucifer waiting for me outside of the doors. I try to rush past him, but he quickly grabs my arm. I try to yank it away in desperation, but he won't let go.

"Simeon." And suddenly, he pulls me into a hug. "Listen, Brother, for that is what you once were. Calm down, and breathe through your nose. If you rush in looking like that, everybody will be worried about you. (Y/N) will be especially worried-"

"Is she awake?" I question out of breath, cutting him off.

Lucifer pulls away from the hug and grips me by the shoulders. "No, she's still asleep, but you can sit by her bedside. I'll help you get the room to yourself."

Shakily, Lucifer guides me inside and sits me down on a chair to calm me down for a couple of seconds. "What is she sick with?"

"A human disease," answers Lucifer shaking his head. The little crease in his brows giving way to his ancient age. "The doctors called in pneumonia. It makes it hard for humans to breathe and makes them terribly cold. If they don't get treated then they die. (Y/N)'s going to have some very serious physical therapy for her lungs after this."

"T-T-Therapy?" I stutter.

He nods his head. "Yes. She'll have to have breathing aids like air tanks, a machine to pump air while they're asleep, and so forth. That way they won't run out of oxygen partway through the night."

After a couple more minutes of panic attacks and short-term terror, Lucifer gently pulls me up by my hands and leads me to the elevator. Once we're inside, he presses the button for the fourth floor. From there the elevator ascends upwards. The doors are opening painstakingly slow, but after what feels like a lifetime we are finally met with the hallway. Lucifer walks slightly ahead of me so he can lead me there when he suddenly stops outside of a door.

Grabbing him by the shoulder, I stop him from entering the room. "I want (Y/N) transferred to Purgatory Hall. It doesn't have to be permanent, but I want to take care of her as her boyfriend. I have that right Lucifer."

"I know," he whispers sadly. "I knew you'd say that, so I already got Lord Diavolo's permission. The others and I will move over some of her clothes and comfort items while you're here with her. That way when she wakes up she has something familiar."

"Thank you Lucifer." my gratitude shining through the words.

Upon entering the room, seven heads turn to look at us. Lucifer gently shoos his brothers and Solomon out of the room much to their protests and refusals. Eventually, they leave, but not before Mammon leaves one of his rings on the nightstand, Beel his necklace, Belphie carefully positioning his pillow under your head, Asmo left a picture of the two of you together, Satan left his book with instructions to read it to her, Levi left a little anime keychain from his phone case, Solomon left his casual star cape for an extra blanket, and Lucifer left his cuff pins. Their little momentos left me in tears. They really do care for my girlfriend, my little lamb.

Sitting in the chair next to (Y/N), I gently grasp your hand. Letting out a little whimper as I hold your small cool hand. I can't help but think about how much you always liked it when I would rub circles into your hand, but I can't do that now. As long as that IV is in your hand, I can't rub it or disturb that area.

Against all of my wishes, tears quickly start to fill my eyes. Before I can grab a tissue or stop it, the tears start to spill over and out of my eyes. Except I don't want to stop. It feels good to finally be able to cry, to let it all out. Hiccups puncture through my cries as I sob.

"S-Simeon." hoarsely whispers a quiet voice.

My head snaps up to meet (Y/N)'s beautiful (eye color) eyes. "(Y/N)! Shhh. Shhh, my little lamb. Save your voice."

"Simeon. I. Love. You," she mumbles.

I lean down and gently kiss her forehead. "I love you too. Please sleep. Everything will be alright. I've gotten you transferred to Purgatory Hall, that way I can take care of you. Alright?"

She nods her head and gently leans into my touch. "Simeon. I. Promise. You-" she starts to slip into a coughing fit, and I quickly grab some water.

"Shhh. It's alright dearest. I promise too. I promise to spend the rest of your life and the afterlife with you. I promise to protect you mentally, physically, and emotionally. I promise so many things my love, and I can only hope that I'll be able to properly fulfill each and every one of them." I don't think. I just say what my heart tells me because it's the truth.

I slowly start to drift off to sleep once more during Simeon's love proposal. "I. Like. That."

With that, I start to fully relax further, and the darkness starts to close in around my eyes. On the last available wisps of my hearing, I hear one last thing. "Sleep well, my love." And that I did.

HER GROAN echoes in the empty doctors’ lounge and she rests her forehead on the cold tabletop. Liese had barely gotten any sleep in the previous night thinking about Henry, she might as well have let him come up to her apartment.

Sierra gets into the room and chuckles at the sight of her friend. “Someone had a rough night,” She comments, taking a seat across from Liese.

She grunts again. “I haven’t slept a wink,” She replies, raising her head slowly.

“Why?” Her friend asks. “What’s keeping you up?”

Liese ponders for a second, playing with her paper cup filled with steamy coffee. “I have to tell you something,” She starts. “But you can’t tell anyone else, at least for now.”

“Okay,” Sierra nods, taking a sip of her own coffee.

“I’ve slept with Henry Cavill,” The woman blurts out, unable to keep that from her friend anymore – actually, best friend. The reaction from her is unexpected as she spits her coffee out on Liese. “Sierra!” She complains, looking at her with wide eyes.

“Oh shit, I’m sorry,” She says, looking at her with an apologetic face. “You did what?” She furrows her brows.

Liese looks down at the coffee staining her scrubs and shakes her head, standing up. She throws her coffee away and walks out of the doctor’s lounge, towards the locker room. Sierra follows her, eager to know more about that.

“Hold on!” She rushes after the silver-haired doctor. “How and when did this happen? Is he as big as he looks like? Is he as good as I imagine him to be? Oh my God, is his ass that amazing without clothes?” Sierra fires away.

“Dear Lord, shut up,” Liese says with an alarmed expression, looking around to see if someone heard any of it. “Don’t make me regret telling you that,” She gives her friend a pointed look before continuing walking towards the locker room.

“Why are you so worked up about this?” Her friend asks, completely confused.

“Because he’s in the public eye!” She states the obvious. “And I don’t want anyone to spread rumors on the internet that might get to gossip pages when I don’t even know what’s going on.”

“Well, when you put it in that way,” Sierra shrugs and they get into the empty locker room. “Will you tell me more about it though?”

“Yes. I was about to do just that when you spat coffee on me!” The woman says, pulling clean scrubs from her locker.

“I’m so sorry,” Her friend whines with a face. “It’s not every day that your best friend sleeps with Superman. I was shocked!” She says. “Damn, I am shocked.”

Liese chuckles, walking away. “Cmon, I’ll take a quick shower and you can stand outside the stall so I can spill the beans.”

“There isn’t anyone in here, you can start,” Sierra rushes.

“Aren’t you eager to know about that, huh?” The woman teases, looking at her friend. “Can you try to clean this up so it doesn’t stain?” She asks, stripping off her shirt.

The oncologist takes it and turns to the sink. “Of course I’m eager,” She replies. “Remember that I was the one hyping you up yesterday about exactly that?” She points out and then it clicks. “Oh my god, did you have sex with him in your office yesterday?”

“No, I did not,” Liese chuckles again as she turns the shower on.

“Hmm, I’ll pretend to believe in you,” The woman says, rinsing the coffee from Liese’s scrubs. “So, how did this happen?”

“Well, he approached me at the gala,” She starts to tell the story and her friend grins. “We started flirting, I didn’t think too much of it but then he suggested we leave and get food.”

Sierra laughs loudly. “What? Actually, this is so you, Lis,” She says, shaking her head.

“I was hungry, okay? I didn’t eat anything before going to the gala,” She defends herself. “Anyway. We went to a drive-thru and then to his house,” She pauses. “Yes, he is big. Yes, he’s good, even better than that, I’d say. Yes, his ass is very much amazing,” She answers all the questions Sierra asked previously.

“Oh my Gooood,” Her friend squeals in excitement, and Liese simply chuckles.

“But then I was drunk enough to blacked out,” Liese confesses.

“What? I thought you had sex with him!” She says with a frown.

“I had, I blacked out after it. It doesn’t even matter, because the morning sex was even better,” She points out. “If that isn’t enough for you…”

“What?” Sierra asks, interrupting her.

The woman smiles at her excitement. “He made me breakfast, asked me on a date during said breakfast, and even dropped me off at home,” She says.

Suddenly, her friend pokes her head into the shower stall with the biggest grin on her face. “I’m loving this,” She says.

Liese chuckles and shakes her head, turning off the shower, not bothered by her friend seeing her naked. “When I came back home at the end of the day, he was at my doorstep,” She continues while drying off her body.

“Yesterday?” Sierra asks, leaning against the sink again.

“No, that was Tuesday. He dropped me off home in the morning after breakfast and was waiting for me when I came back home,” The doctor explains, dressing the clean scrubs quickly. “He slept over and he was dropping off my keys when he came to the foundation yesterday,” Liese says as she steps out of the shower stall.

Her friend’s jaw is on the floor. “Seriously?”

She nods, sitting on the bench to put her shoes back on. “I went on a date with him last night,” She confesses, hugging her legs after lacing her shoes.

By now Sierra is already sitting across from her on the bench and her reaction to the last piece of information is priceless. A mix between surprise and happiness washes over her face, making Liese smile.

“Lis…” She says, unable to form a proper sentence.

“Yeah, I know,” The woman sighs. “And he’s such a gentleman, Sie. Like, seriously! He’s that kind of gentleman that only exists in old films, how’s that even possible?” She asks rhetorically. “He’s funny, smart, he’s actually interested in what I have to say and I… I really like him,” She confesses.

Her friend stares at her in silence for a few seconds. “You don’t seem very happy about that,” She points out.

“I’m just scared,” Liese confesses, her shoulders dropping. “I’m scared of getting my hopes up for something that isn’t going to move forward. You know I have this habit.”

Sierra shakes her head. “I’m going to stop you right there,” The oncologist says. “That was very different. He made promises to you, promises he never intended to fulfill but you didn’t know that. And there’s no way you could know that,” She says.

“Still,” The woman shrugs. “As I’ve said before, he’s in the public eye, he’s famous. I’m don’t know if I should expect something more serious. I mean, he’s surrounded by gorgeous women all the time,” She says and her friend gives her a dirty look as to tell her that’s bullshit. “I don’t know. The only thing I know is that I like him.”

“Oh my God! Stop overthinking!” Sierra starts. “Let things flow as they should and don’t rush into assumptions,” Her friend makes a face. “You only know the guy for three days, it was one date. Chill the fuck out,” She advises, making Liese chuckle.

“That’s why I love you,” The woman says, reaching out to hug her friend.

“One more thing,” Sierra says, holding a hand out to stop her. “If you ever keep things like that from me ever again, I’ll murder you,” She threatens.

“Okay,” Liese nods, slapping the oncologist’s hand away and wrapping her arms around her. “I love you,” She says.

“I love you, too,” Sierra replies.

“Please, don’t mention anything about that to my brothers,” She asks.

“They don’t know either?” Her friend is truly shocked.

“Gustav knows I went on a date and he probably told everyone else by now but that’s it,” She says. “He doesn’t know it was with Henry and I want my family to know as little as possible until I figure out where this is going,” She explains, fixing her bun and standing up.

“Okay,” She nods. “I want to know more about this date, though,” She adds, following Liese.

The woman turns to her with the most radiant smile. “It was amazing!” She says, closing her locker. “But you’ll have to wait till lunch to know more about it because my break is over and I need to get back to the ED.”

Sierra’s face falls. “Are you kidding me?” She asks as the doctor leaves the room.

“Nope,” She shakes her head, walking away.

The ED is quite peaceful until lunchtime which Liese both appreciates and dreads at the same time. As promised, she tells Sierra everything about her date with Henry in reach details; how amazing it’s the restaurant he took her, the delicious wine, the impeccable meal, what they’ve talked about, and even the make-out session on his car before she got into her apartment building. Her friend can’t stop squealing at what makes her excited, which is about every little detail Liese tells her.

As she dreaded, the afternoon is hell in the ED. From a rush of incoming patients three different times within five hours to dealing with bureaucracy, annoying relatives, and difficult patients, the woman develops a headache and cravings for a relaxing shower and a steamy mug of hot cocoa with marshmallows.

Her phone rings as she walks towards the tube station and she answers without checking the caller’s ID. “Hello.”

“Ah, it’s nice hearing your voice,” Henry’s baritone voice fills her ears.

“Oh, hey you,” She smiles instantly. “It’s good to hear your voice, too,” She replies, climbing down the stairs.

“What are you up to?” He asks.

“Uh, I just got off work,” Liese replies, navigating the crowd. “I’m about to take the tube,” She says. “You?”

“I’m just thinking about you,” The man is completely honest. “Can I come over? I’ll cook you dinner,” He offers.

Her smile widens. “What’s the proposal exactly?” She asks.

“How do sesame chicken and chili lime slaw sounds like?” Henry suggests.

She closes her eyes for a second, imagining it and humming at the thought of him cooking it. “In your voice? Heavenly,” The woman says. “Imagining you making it? Porn,” She adds and his laugh makes her stomach twirl with butterflies.

“So, it’s a deal?” He asks to make sure.

“Yeah, I’d love that,” Liese replies and sighs. “I’m just very tired, I might start nodding off on you,” She warns, making a face he couldn’t see.

“I don’t mind,” The man replies quickly. “As long as I can have you in my arms, it’s fine,” He adds.

She nearly swoons at his words. “Dear Lord, yes. Get your fabulous ass in my flat,” She says, making him laugh again.

“I’ll be there in a few. Can I bring Kal?” He asks and Liese can picture him raising his eyebrow.

“Oh, please do. I need a snuggle buddy,” She agrees almost immediately.

“I thought I was the snuggle buddy,” Now she’s positive he’s pouting.

She chuckles at her imagination, biting down on her lip. “You are,” Liese reassures. “But with whom I’ll snuggle with while you’re cooking?”

“That’s a valid point,” He agrees.

“I know,” The woman chuckles again. “Okay, I’ll take the train now. See you in a few.”

“Be safe,” Henry says.

“You too,” She hangs up after getting into the train car.

Needless to say, it’s packed with people as it’s the rush hour, so Liese doesn’t have anywhere to sit. This only adds to her tiredness but nothing she couldn’t handle. Soon enough, she arrives at her building and Mr. Ferris is there to greet her, as usual. She gets her mail and rushes to her apartment to have that much-needed shower.

Just as she finishes dressing up, the doorbell rings. The sound is almost foreign to her ears as she rarely has visitors but the thought of the person behind the front door makes her heartbeat increase. The woman gets to the door with a smile on her face and she is greeted by a handsome man and an overly excited puppy.

“Oh fuck,” Henry gaps at her appearance.

Liese wears thigh high stockings, cheeky panties, and a sweatshirt that’s a tad small, leaving her lower stomach on display. “Are you going to keep gawking at me from my doorstep?” She raises an eyebrow at him in amusement.

Before he could reply, Kal barks at her, drawing her attention to himself. Then, the bear dog takes the liberty to get into her apartment and jumps at her, resting his big paws on her stomach as he demands scratches.

“Hey buddy,” The woman happily scratches behind his ears. “How are you? Have you been a good boy?” She slides to the floor with Kal and he shows her his belly. “I’m sure you have.”

She proceeds to talk to the dog in German and the man simply smiles at the scene in front of him. He steps into the apartment and shuts the door behind himself, watching as Liese allows Kal to lick her face without scolding him.

If Henry wasn’t crazy about her before, now he definitely is. A woman that doesn’t mind the crazy affection his dog has to give is a catch.

He takes the liberty to put the supermarket bags on the kitchen island along with a much adorable-looking shopping bag. “Alright, my turn,” Henry says, stopping in front of the woman.

She looks up at him with a genuine smile. Kal quickly wanders off to explore the unknown apartment and Henry offers a hand to help the woman up. She accepts it right away and he pulls her up to his arms, sealing their lips together. Apparently, the innocent peck doesn’t last as long as Liese desires as she shakes her head slightly when the man starts to move away, placing an arm around his shoulders and pulling him down again.

“Unh-unh,” She hums before deepening the kiss.

Henry’s thumbs press on her hips bones and then his arms fasten around her small body, pressing her against him. He almost sighs into the kiss as her free hand brushes his cheek fondly. She pulls away slowly and her tongue runs on her now slightly swollen lips.

“Hi,” She breathes out and drops a few inches.

Just now the man realizes she was on her tiptoes. “Hey love,” He can’t stop himself from pressing his lips against hers again. “How was your day?” He asks.

Liese groans, locking both arms around his neck as his hands rest in her hips. “Stressful,” She rolls her eyes. “But it’s a hundred times better now.”

“That’s good to know,” Henry smiles. “I got you something,” He says and she furrows her brows.

“What?” The woman asks, letting go of him as he moves towards the cute shopping bag and picks it up from the island. “Why?” She chuckles.

“Because I thought of you when I saw it,” He replies, giving her the shopping bag.

“Thanks,” She says, looking at him.

Henry leans against the island and watches as she smiles, looking at the single rose sticking out of the bag. The woman gently picks it up and brings it to her nose. She glances back at him and he simply smiles at her. Then, Liese looks back down at the bag, opening it as she holds the rose in her hand.

“Aww,” Liese says, taking the fluffy teddy bear out of the bag. “He’s so adorable,” She says, holding the small stuffed toy near her face while looking at Henry.

He just keeps staring at her with a huge grin on his face and she looks back at the teddy bear.

“I’ll call him Hank,” Liese decides, getting closer to him.

“Why not Henry?” He asks, frowning slightly.

“Because that’s my other teddy bear,” She replies, circling his neck with her arms again.

The man’s eyes instantly start to scan the apartment for another teddy bear but he’s sure there isn’t any. “And where’s it?”

“Right in front of me,” Liese says, biting her lip and he laughs in realization. She then presses her lips against his. “Thank you. I love it,” She says, looking into his eyes.

“Really?” He asks, smiling at her.

“Yes, very much,” She nods, walking towards her bed. “I think my niece will try to steal it from me the next time I babysit her,” The woman chuckles, looking down at the bear, and then she makes eye contact with Kal, who’s laying on her bed like it’s a habit of his. “Oh, you make yourself quite comfortable, don’t you?” She chuckles, petting the dog.

“Kal,” Henry calls, looking at the dog from across the room. “What are you doing? Get out of there.”

“No, it’s okay,” Liese reassures, petting the dog after carefully placing Hank in the middle of her bed, against the pillows.

She turns around to the man unpacking the groceries. “So, how old is your niece?” He asks curiously.

“She’s four,” The woman replies. “How can I help?” She asks, getting back to the kitchen space.

“Just get your temporary snuggle buddy and put that fine ass of yours on the sofa,” Henry advises, giving emphasis on the word and making her chuckle. “I’ll figure things out around here, don’t worry,” He adds with a smile.

“Okay,” She says with a nod, turning to her fridge. “Can I at least pour you a pint?” She asks, taking a bottle of Guinness out of the fridge along with a can of RedBull.

“Sure,” He replies, opening her cabinets in search of pans. “Will you drink with me?”

“I’ll take a sip of yours, for sure,” Liese says, filling the pint. “But I can’t, love. I have to work early tomorrow,” She explains, the pet name rolling out of her tongue easily, without her realizing it.

But Henry catches it and he can’t help the goofy smile on his face. He stares at her in silence as she takes a sip of the beer, only realizing his gaze on her while she settles the pint down.

“What?” She asks, licking her lips.

“Nothing,” Henry shakes his head and takes the pint she’s offering him. “Do you babysit her often?” He returns to the niece subject.

“Yeah. And her brother, too,” The woman replies, cracking open a RedBull and pouring it into a glass. “Especially now that my sister-in-law had another baby. I try to take them as much as possible to give her a break,” She explains, moving away.

“How many niece and nephews do you have?” He asks while skillfully working on the chicken breasts.

“Eight,” Liese says, flipping her flat screen to face the living room space. “Four of each. How about you?” She asks, taking a seat at the sofa with the remote in her hands.

“Ten; eight nephews and two nieces,” The man replies and she makes a face.

“There are way too many men in your family,” She points out, turning the TV on. “You have no sisters and only two nieces… That’s terrible.”

Henry chuckles. “It’s not that terrible,” He says.

“For you,” She says, taking a sip from her drink. “Kal,” The woman whistles, and the dog immediately jumps off her bed, looking over at her from the corner of the shelving. “Come here, buddy,” She calls, tapping on the sofa.

He accepts the invitation right away and climbs on the sofa, quickly snuggling next to Liese. She chuckles at the pet, who doesn’t waste time in giving her a few more licks on the face as she scratches his ears.

From the kitchen space, Henry smiles. “How come you don’t have any pets?” The man asks and she looks back at him, pushing Kal to sit beside her. “You’re so good with Kal.”

“I do, actually. I have two cats at my parents’,” She replies.

“Cats?” Henry makes a face, looking up at her. “I thought you were a dog person,” He says.

“Now, there’s no such thing, okay,” She chuckles. “Cats are great, too. Unless you have allergies… But people who say they are ‘dog person’ have never spent time with a cat to know better,” Liese makes air quotes. “Have you?” She raises her eyebrow.

He chuckles before replying. “Guilty as charged.”

“See?” She laughs.

“But why are your cats at your parents’?” He asks. “They don’t allow pets in here?”

“They do,” Liese nods. “I was working a lot a while ago and wasn’t giving them the attention they deserve. So, I took them to stay with my parents for a couple of weeks and they never let me have them back,” She explains, petting Kal’s head as he rests in on her lap.

They keep chatting about anything while Henry prepares their diner, after all, they’re still getting to know each other. At some point, the man even asks if that counts as a date, and Liese confirms with a chuckle.

“Here you go,” Henry says, bringing the food dish to her on the sofa.

“Oh, my God. Are you serious?” She laughs, looking up to meet his eyes.

“Yep. The full service,” He replies as she sits upright. “Down,” He says to Kal while Liese takes the plate.

“It looks amazing,” She says and he starts to move away. “Hey,” The woman grabs his t-shirt and pulls him down for a peck on the lips. “Thank you,” She says against his lips.

“You’re welcome,” Henry presses his lips against hers one more time before moving away.

Liese puts a piece of the sesame chicken into her mouth and she can’t help but moan at the taste. “Goddamn, why?” She asks herself.

“Is there a problem?” He asks, returning to the sofa with his plate and another RedBull for her.

“Yes!” She says with an incredulous look and Henry hesitates. “You’re too perfect.”

The man immediately laughs and shakes his head, taking a seat beside her and pouring the beverage into her empty glass. “I’m not perfect,” He says, handing her the now full glass.

“I beg to differ,” Liese points to her drink and the delicious food. “This is beyond delicious,” She says.

“I’m glad you like it,” He says with a smile. “But I’m still not perfect.”

“Oh, Henry. Please!” She deadpans. “You’re awfully handsome, even better in bed,” She says without shame and he laughs. “And can cook like a chef. Why aren’t you married anyway?”

“Haven’t found the one yet,” He replies truthfully, looking at her. “You?” He asks back.

“I work a lot,” The woman says. “It’s not easy to find someone who understands,” She stuffs her mouth with food to prevent herself from saying too much.

“I get that,” Henry says and looks back at him. “Way too well, actually,” He adds.

They share a look for a few seconds and Liese’s smile widens before she looks down at her plate shyly. She then offers him another pint which he kindly declines, saying that his trainer will have his head in a silver platter if he keeps indulging himself in anything he wants to. They eat in comfortable silence and the woman thanks Henry again for the meal.

She once again points out how perfect Henry is because he didn’t leave any dirty dishes behind. All the pans, bowls, knives, and even the cutting board he used to make their meal is perfectly washed. And he doesn’t let her wash the dishes they used by herself, instead, they agree on him washing and she drying and putting it away.

Despite all the RedBull consumed, Liese can’t stifle her yawns as they watch TV in the living room and the man suggests they go to bed. After flipping the flat screen to face her bedroom again, they get into bed. She rests her head comfortably on Henry’s chest and tucks her hand into his t-shirt, caressing his torso before leaving it on his stomach. He flinched at her warm touch at first, flexing his abs, then he focuses his attention on stopping the blood flow to his cock.

Kal sat at the edge of her bed and kept staring at them until the woman allowed him to climb onto the mattress. Now he’s lying at their feet.

Even though she could barely keep her eyes open, Liese still tries to fight her sleep and the man notices it. “You know you can sleep, right love?” He says. “I don’t mind.”

“Yeah,” She replies, unable to stifle another yawn and rubbing her tired eyes slightly.

“Then why are you resisting sleep so much?” Henry asks with furred browns, trying to get a look on her face.

“I want to spend more time with you,” The woman replies honestly, raising her head to look at him.

He smiles at her answer and she smiles back at him, reaching out her hand to caress his sharp jawline. While his blue orbs don’t leave her brown ones, the woman’s eyes try to memorize every inch of his flawless face. His high cheekbones, his adorable nose, his perfectly shaped mouth, and even his long and enviable eyelashes. Her fingertips brush gently on his jaw, the short stubble tickling it.

Liese bites her bottom lip slightly as she places her thumb into the cleft of his chin, her eyes shifting back to his. “I know we know each other for only three days,” She starts, fingers still caressing his chin and jaw. “But I really like you,” She confesses.

The corners of his lips curl up in a small smile. “I really like you, too,” He says.

Now it’s her time to smile before pulling herself up to press her lips against his. One kiss leads to another which leads to Liese straddling his body before being pinned down by it while he thrusts into her slowly.

The sex is not as urgent as the other times they had it, they’re not simply seeking the amazing sensations of the release. It feels much more like they’re enjoying each other’s company and trying to memorize each other’s sweet spots.

Henry is not offended nor bothered by the fact that she is fast asleep as soon as her head rests on his chest again. Her naked body – well, almost completely as he left the stockings on while undressing her – is pressed against his, one leg throw above his, and the warmth of her body is very soothing.

As his fingertips brush soothingly along her spine, the man wonders if a relationship with Liese will be possible and, if so, how is going to be like when he’s away because that has been the kryptonite of all his past relationships.

Kal, who got annoyed with all the fussing happening on the mattress half an hour ago and left, interrupts his thoughts as he jumps back onto the bed. The dog makes himself comfortable beside the woman and rests his head in the middle of her back, where Henry could reach to pet him.

“You like her, right bear?” He asks the dog who stares at him. “Me too, buddy. Me too.”

It doesn’t take too much time for the man to fall asleep too. In the middle of the night, Liese wakes up with the TV shining way too bright. The remote is nowhere to be found, probably on the sofa, so she’s forced to leave the comfort of Henry’s arms and turn it off.

She smiles at his adorable sleeping form and caresses the bear dog before standing up. She dresses her clothes again, turns off the TV, and then drinks two glasses of water to ease her thirst before going back to bed.

Immediately after laying down with her back turned to the man, he drapes his arm around her, pulling her against his chest and inhaling the scent of her hair. Liese smiles at that and even more when Kal decides to reposition himself into her arms.

In the morning, she wakes up before her alarm, feeling well-rested. Well, how could she not? So, the woman turns off the alarm to not wake up the sleeping actor laying beside her and turns around to admire his beauty until she couldn’t be in bed anymore.

Carefully to not disturb Henry, she gets up and pets Kal. Without making a sound, she gets into her bathroom and starts to get ready for work.

While she intended to let the man sleep as much as he wants to, his dog doesn’t share the same intentions. As she exits the bathroom, drying her hair with a towel, Kal is standing on the bed near Henry, nudging his face with his snout while whining.

“No, Kal,” She whispers, trying to shush the dog away. “Don’t…” She says but then she sees the man stirring awake. “You’re a bad boy after all, huh?” She gives him a look.

“Alright, bear. I’m awake,” Henry says to the dog, voice hoarse from sleeping, and Kal licks his face. “Were you planning on leaving me here sleeping again?” Henry asks her as he pushes his pet away.

“Yes, I was,” The woman replies.

“Then, good boy,” He says to Kal.

Liese shakes her head and crawls on the bed towards him, pressing her lips against his. “Good morning,” She says, looking down at him.

“Oh yes, it’s very good like this,” The man agrees and she chuckles as he pulls her face down again. “What time is it?” He asks as she moves away.

“Seven something,” She replies, getting into her closet.

“Where are you working today?” Henry yawns, rubbing the sleep off of his eyes.

“At St. Thomas’,” Her voice travels back to him as he gets up from the bed and starts to get dressed.

He checks the exact time on his phone before shoving it into his pocket. “Can I drop you off?” He asks, putting his shirt on.

Liese emerges from the closet dressed in jeans and a long sleeve shirt. “You don’t have to,” She says. “It’s the opposite way of your house,” Liese adds.

“But I want to,” He insists, getting into her bathroom. As he flushes the toilet, the woman gets into the bathroom with him. “And we can get breakfast on the way,” He suggests, hugging her from behind and kissing her neck as she plugs her hairdryer.

“Okay,” The woman smiles, turning around to peck his lips. “You don’t have to give me these puppy eyes. It’s your gas you’re wasting,” She points out, handing him a new toothbrush.

Henry smiles widely, opening the packaging and wetting the toothbrush. “And I’ll gladly drive you around,” He replies, watching her start to dry her hair as he brushes his teeth.

Liese only chuckles and shakes her head slightly.

Haley was shocked that she received a response from Scott. She left the message unread, seeing that he really only needed to send five words in response. She knew that this is an urgent matter to discuss. A part of her wondered if you would be upset that she could potentially be chatting with Scott about you and Chris. Haley really tried to keep to herself when it came to your love life, but this time she felt that she might need to intervene. She hated seeing you, her best friend, in this state.

She looked at her phone one more time before buzzing up to your place. Taking a deep breath, Haley started to type a response. Not wanting to get into too much detail in this message, she convinced herself to keep it short and sweet.

Hey Scott, I sure wasn’t expecting to hear back from you. Want to chat tomorrow tonight?

Message sent.

The sun was barely on the horizon line as Chris laid in bed, staring at the ceiling. He was unable to sleep any longer. He turned his head to find a sleeping Dodger, snuggled next to him. These were his favourite moments first thing in the morning. Chris turned to grab his phone to take yet another photo of his best friend. The movement caused Dodger to wake, showing Chris great dislike for the disruption.

“I’m sorry bud! Just know that Dad does this because he loves you very much. You will be thankful for all the photos when you are older.”

Chris laughed at his own joke as he snapped a few more photos of the disgruntled dog lying by his side.

“I know you are grumpy now Dodge, but I have a feeling today is going to be okay.”

With a coffee in hand, you strolled into the office, feeling a little groggy from the late night wine drinking with Haley. Even though your body felt exhausted, today seemed like a better day. The weight on your shoulders was lifted after spending a few hours with your best friend, talking things out.

As you walked through the office, you noticed the looks you were getting from  coworkers. They were greeting you with a smile, some even with a subtle nod. You felt confused by the attention you were receiving this morning. As you arrived to your desk there was a note with your name on it and bottle of sparkling white wine. Not sure who this was from, you eagerly opened the envelope.

Your talents are boundless. Who knew a viral video would finally get you the recognition you have deserved for so long. Congrats, Evelyn.

“Well, all those friendly looks and acknowledgments make sense now. Thanks a lot Chris…”

“It’s more than a thank you!”  You nearly went into flight mode as your boss interjected on the conversation your were having with yourself. “Our sales numbers for that book alone sky rocketed overnight. Evelyn has asked that I have a thank you note sent to Scott and Chris for filming and posting the video. Y/n, you wait! Because of your part in it, I predict that in the next week, you are going to be the most in demand illustrator for this company. I hope you are ready for it.”

“Oh hey, Louise! Thanks. I’m not really too sure how to handle this though.”

“You don’t have to handle anything, just be prepared to be more creative than you have ever been.”

“Huh…..I guess I never imagined it would all happen this way.”

In the back of your mind you could hear his voice. Was the universe trying to tell you something? It seemed as if it was trying to bring the two of you back together.

“Again Y/n, give yourself some credit. You deserve this. Celebrate this success and maybe take a bit of time to bask in the glory of it!”

“I’ll try my best, Louise. Thanks again.”

As Louise walked away, you shook your head as you grabbed the phone to send a message and a photo to Haley, wanting to share the surprise. Instead, you had a sudden urge to check out Instagram to see if Chris posted something. You weren’t one to follow celebrities, so you would have to go out of your way to see what Chris was up to. You were curious though. Your heart started to beat a little faster as your slowly typed out his name in the search bar. There might have been butterflies in the pit of your stomach too. As his name appeared in the results, you questioned why you were even doing this, but you felt that you needed to. You clicked his name and quickly closed your eyes, afraid of what might be on the other end. Taking a deep breath and slowly opening your right eye, to see a blurry image of what seemed to be a human and an animal. You closed your eye again, just to open them both up at the same time. The image was clear now. There was Chris, lying in bed with Dodger, both with sullen looks on their faces. The caption under the photo read “You and me both, Dodge.” Staring at this image for what felt like an hour, but was really only seconds, you drifted off into a daydream of what it would be like to wake up beside these two.

“What has gotten into you Y/n?”  You shook your head again, to get our of the daydream state. Confused by your own reaction to this photo, you texted Haley with a simple question to hopefully place blame for your odd behaviour on something else.

Hales, what was in that wine last night?

“No I did not add anything to your wine last night! You think I would do something like that to you, without first asking for your permission and secondly, not join in on the adventure?”

“Leave it up to you Hales to turn things around and make it funny.”

“So did you add on to the note sent to Chris saying that you love him?”

“Seriously Hales?” Y/n knew that Haley was trying hard to keep the conversation light hearted.

“You can’t tell me you don’t have feelings for him. The universe really seems to be cheering you on with this. Why don’t you just go along with it?”

“But…”

“There is no but. Just go along with it, okay?”

“Yah, okay.”

“Can you sound a little more enthusiastic?” Just as Haley asked you this, her phone started to vibrate with the incoming call. “Y/n, I gotta go, be more enthusiastic!….BYE!”

“Hales?..........Haley?”

You stood there, puzzled by Haley’s abrupt ending to the call. Staring at your phone screen, not quite sure what to make of what happened, you shrugged it off and texted her.

You didn’t seem in distress when you cut off our call, so I hope you are okay. Just let me know you are alive.

“Hey! It’s Scott. Did I catch you at a bad time?”

“Sure didn’t. I was actually just on a call with Y/n, trying to convince her to follow the universe’s guidance that is leading her back to your brother.”

“Excellent! So we are going to get along, aren’t we?”

“I have a feeling we will. Again, thanks for getting back to me. I truly wasn’t expecting to hear from you. I felt a little lost on how to help my best friend.”

“Everything happens for a reason. We are going to make this work. We just need to plan this out carefully. I have an idea, and I want to see if you are up for it.”

“I’m all ears.”

“What if Chris and I wrote a children’s book?”

“And Y/n was the illustrator for it?”

“Exactly! So do you know how we can go about this?”

“I know exactly how to…you got a pen and paper handy to write some notes?

“I sure do.”

Haley and Scott agreed that the plan needed to be set in motion pretty quick. After sleeping on the ideas that were created during their two hour long conversation, Scott was ready to tackle the first hurdle: convince Chris to write a book. Now was the moment as he stood outside Chris’ office door. He texted Haley first.

He wasn’t waiting any longer. He quietly knocked on the door and walked in before Chris could even respond.

“So, I’ve been thinking about some things and wondered how you would feel about maybe working on a fun project, you know…the two of us”

Looking up from his computer, settling his chin upon his hands clutched together, Chris is bracing for some elaborate idea. He doesn’t have a response, except to stare at Scott as he sat down.

“Okay, you haven’t disapproved yet, so I will continue telling you about it. After receiving that note from Evelyn, thanking us for reading the children’s book, I thought to myself that maybe we can write our own children’s book. Between the two of us, we could probably come up with some kind of story. Maybe we include a dog and two little boys going on a fun adventure. I don’t know. It’s just an idea that I can’t get out of my brain. Then we could donate the proceeds of the sales to charity.”

You could tell that Chris was pondering the idea as Scott sat across the desk from him, patiently waiting for some kind of response. Chris didn’t hate the idea. He also didn’t fully support it yet. His mind was filling with questions about how they would go about creating this so called book.

“So, I don’t hate the idea. I actually really like it. And you know we would have to dedicate the book to the kids. But I have so many questions. How do we even begin writing this? What is our timeline for completion? Who is even going to accept an idea like this?”

Scott stared back at him, happy that Chris somewhat approved of this idea. He wanted so bad to tell him that Y/n could be the illustrator, but he also wanted to tread lightly through this territory, as he sensed Chris might actually be up for creating something together.

“Whoa….slow down bro. I don’t even have the answers yet, but if this is something you might have the slightest interest in being a part of, how about I try and get a hold of Evelyn? I know you are busy today, so I will see if I can chat with her. I have a feeling their publishing firm would fully support us with this idea. It doesn’t hurt to ask. Can I at least do that?”

“Yes, you can.”

“I don’t think you will regret this!” Scott hurried from the room to grab the phone of his pocket. Feeling like he couldn’t text quick enough, he finally got the words onto the screen.

Haley, he liked the idea.

A couple of days had passed, and it felt like things were getting back to normal for you, especially at work. You still had your deadlines to meet, and clients to make happy. In general, you felt more inspired than usual. The work you were creating felt like some of the best you had done in a long time. In the midst of sending off proofs to your client, an email come through from Evelyn. For the most part you are an optimistic person, but then there were moments like this one. Anxiety was making an appearance. Without even reading the email yet, you expected the worst. Evelyn never emailed you, so what could it be. Maybe you were were looped into a conversation that you weren’t supposed to be included in. Once your client’s email was sent off, with hesitation you opened Evelyn’s message. It was titled: Important Meeting – Please Respond Immediately.

“I’m getting fired…I know it.”

You opened the email without much confidence in what you were about to read.

Sorry I can’t be there to give you this news and discuss it with you in person, but I will address everything you need to know in this email. Please read carefully.

Thanks to this weeks increased interest in the works we have been publishing, we have been approached to work on a children’s book with a high profile client. Though I cannot disclose who this client is right now, they have requested a meeting with our head publishing team at our NYC headquarters. As I am already in Manhattan for other meeting over the next week, I have scheduled a meeting with them. This meeting will be on Monday morning. The client has also requested that Y/n is involved in this project, as the illustrator.

Y/n, we have booked you on a red eye flight, having you arrive into the city on Sunday morning, giving you a chance to prepare for the meeting. A car will be at the airport to pick you up and take you to the hotel. It will also be there at the hotel to take you to the meeting at HQ. I have also reached out to your clients that have deadlines next week. We have pushed their deadlines to the following week, as we will have you based out of the NYC office for a bit. All the materials that you need to do any illustrating while you are here will be set up in an office for you.

I know this is late notice, but I hope that this opportunity is one what you are willing and able to tackle with our team. All your flight information is attached to this email. Please let me know as soon as possible that you will be in attendance for this meeting on Monday morning.

You sat there silent and in shock. Louise was right when she told you that things were going to change. This was an opportunity that you couldn’t pass up. This was a dream that was just days away from coming true. Without hesitation you responded to Evelyn’s email.

You really just wanted to scream in excitement. Instead you stood up from your desk, took a quick look around. The coast was clear to do a little happy dance.

Chris was happy that it was the weekend. There were plans in place for the family to spend time together. Though work never really was done for him, he was finally taking time for himself. Being able to spend time with his family for a couple of days is just what he needs. As he finished up reading through yet another script that came through from his agent, he closed his computer and exited his office, with no intention of returning to it until after the weekend.

“Thank god it is the weekend!” Chris was elated at the fact that it was time to relax.

“I couldn’t agree more, but before the weekend starts, can we have a quick chat about the book idea?” Scott had startled Chris as he turned the corner into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water and start cooking supper.

“Did you actually get somewhere with it?”

“Sure did! I know I should have checked with you first, but I hope you are free to take a trip into Manhattan on Sunday night, and meet with Evelyn and her team on Monday morning.”

Stopping dead in his tracks, Chris was surprised for a moment. 

“Wow…I’m impressed Scott. Lucky for you, I am free for the meeting. I guess we are doing this then, huh?”

“Well, we aren’t tied into the project just yet, but they are going to give us some clarity on what it would take to make this book.”

“Alright then, let’s do it. Can I say that I am actually kind of excited about this now?”

“I certainly was hoping that you were going to say it. I have a feeling this is going to be better than we expect.”

the main thing u need to know about ivy is that she is lying ! always !! her real name isn’t even actually ivy smh

she was born natalie rose serrano, to two working class parents in new york city. she knew from a young age that she was just supposed to be rich and famous, and that something had gotten mixed up somewhere and she was put in the wrong life.

in high school she got a scholarship to a fancy private catholic school, and that’s where she started to hone her craft of manipulating rich people. she would befriend all of the richest bitches at school and take advantage of everything that came along with it: vacations to far away places, stays in the family’s cabins and lake houses, even designer clothes that her friends no longer wanted and would gift to her, thinking it was their idea all along

as she grew up and got better at getting what she wanted out of people, her entitled attitude only got worse, driving a wedge between her and her parents, who kept waiting for her to develop a work ethic and kept being disappointed. a few months after she graduated high school, on her 18th birthday, her parents kicked her out of the house and cut her off, hoping that it would force her to grow up and take on any responsibility

but that plan backfired for them, her parents underestimating how truly stubborn natalie was. the day after her 18th, she wandered into a local strip club and got a job, figuring it’d be the easiest and quickest way to get some cash, and she took to it naturally and actually really enjoyed stripping

she started to embody an entirely new persona that she had created for herself, dancing under the name poison ivy and telling everyone she was a trust fund baby that had been cut off from her rich parents, needing to dance to supplement her income, and her lies just continued to spiral out of control until she almost started to believe it herself. she had never told anyone at the club her real name, not even the other strippers, just going by “ivy” for a while.

she had learned to weaponize the power she had over people by being pretty and charming, using her looks for absolute evil and doing whatever it took to get money—from straight up pickpocketing, to making men buy her expensive gifts, to blackmailing, to sugar babying, to getting patrons wasted and manipulating them into tipping her absurd amounts... she did it all, very quickly earning enough to live the life she had always dreamed of, that she felt she deserved for whatever twisted reason.

she started posting on instagram with the name poison ivy generally just flaunting her carefree, extravagant life, often exaggerating or down right lying just to really dazzle her quickly growing audience

as she started to go down the influencer route, she realized she needed to do something to hide the skeletons in her closet ( the fact that she didn’t actually come from money and was making far more than was normal for even the best of dancers, a couple of small possession / shoplifting charges, and just generally anything that could lead people to her real identity ) so she started to tell people her name was ives, fully taking on the new identity. she even went so far as to make some of the people that had been closest to her sign NDAs about her real identity, making sure that no one could sell info about her should her plan of being famous work out

and it did work out !! at first she was definitely buying followers/likes to boost her likelihood of brand sponsorships, but eventually she faked it until she made it and actually attained influencer status

she also started sleeping around with pretty much any famous person she could, having very public relationships and breakups and scandals to keep her name in the press, which ultimately lead to more exposure/people following her, if only to see what she did next, which lead to even more sponsorships

she’s probably been in kingsboro for a few years, living in a super fancy one bedroom apartment that she definitley doesn’t pay for ( she doesn’t even know how much her rent is tbh )

eventually she stopped dancing and just focused on her influencing or whatever, but she never stopped sugar babying and scamming rich stupid men, still very much using that as a means to keep up her lifestyle. she’s also done a few modeling things, but it’s mostly just like catalog work or being the face of a trendy campaign bc she’s way too short for the runway

she also recently made an only fans account bc she was bored one night and was mostly planning on posting once as a joke but then she made a bunch of money / got a bunch of subscribers and was like oh word ? i can do that ! so she will post on there from time to time but she’s not like... super serious about it ya know ?

so basically she’s jus here making money being pretty and pulling a long ass scam on... everyone

always looks perfectly put together— her nails are always meticulously manicured, usually w stiletto shaped acrylics, and you’ll literally never see her outside her house without makeup and a perfectly composed outfit. it’s also a rare occasion that she’s not wearing at least six inch heels, trying to make up for bein so mf short ( she’s 5’3 )

she talks A Lot but is really good at saying a lot of words without actually saying anything, like you can be best friends with her for months and then just be like “i don’t actually know a single thing about her”

always up to no good and sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong !! she’s always got some sort of scheme going or getting in to some kind of drama

(im striving so hard to figure this out right now!). then with this stream of income i can comfortably be a part time piano accompanist and work at part time jobs that are actually fun without feeling pressured to make more money from the corporate employers of the earth. then later i can use that money to go back to school to be some sort of therapist (part time though). (basically im trying to avoid the 9 - 5 slavery thing (my body cannot handle that) because my time is precious and id rather spend most of it taking care of my health, traveling, and spending time with friends and family because id rather make memories than make money).

a/n- hi, hello, how are ya?! here’s a sweet little thing ive been working on for while! it’s pharon reunited, where sharon doesn’t recognize phi phi at a party and follows her to the back yard to flirt with her only to see it’s her old enemy. (also thank y'all for all the sweet compliments on taxidermy butterfly ♡♡♡)

The bass of the speakers make the floor buzz with vibrations. The ‘Monster Mash’ was playing at way too loud of a volume. All around Sharon is just people yelling over the music to have conversations that none of the party goers will remember. The floor is covered in purple cups, orange and black confetti and beer bottle caps. It was a very atypical college Halloween party.

Sharon wasn’t invited to the party but there were too many people to even notice this scrawny black haired girl with dumb dollar store devil horns mounted on her head who had wiggled her way in for free beer. Part of her thought the alcohol wasn’t worth the hearing loss she’d experience but when you’re working paycheck to paycheck, a free booze are worth it.

Squeezing through the crowds to get to a near by couch, she accidentally bumps into a few blondes that were busy chatting with slurred speech. They were all dressed as so called sexy school girls. From what Sharon can make out, it’s about some boy they were all preying over. Typically drunk girl behaviour.

Sharon finally took a seat onto the empty couch. She sat there fiddling with her bottle, tapping her nails against the sweating glass as she looks through her phone. No new messages were to be seen, which she expected. It was Halloween afterall, most of her friends would be at their own parties across town or asleep at the home. Admittedly, Sharon was bored. It was one of her favorite holidays, she loved all the traditions and colors of the child centric holiday. Of course there was adult fun, as shown by the party. She had gone to this party alone in hopes to find a girl to flirt with while she was there or to drink so much beer she pukes into a pumpkin head. To which she struck no luck with girls in the large house, none had stuck out just yet.

Part of her said she should just go back to the apartment and watch Hocus Pocus for the millionth time. Lord knows she needed some sleep before working tomorrow. The other part of her said she shouldn’t go home and to keep partying til some straight girl decided to try out a girl for the night.

Leaning into the couch, Sharon looks at the TV that was playing a classic movie to watch on this seemingly anticlimactic hoilday; Halloween Town. It wasn’t the best movie but it sure is a 'feel good’ kind of film when your 4 beers into the night. She watches the screen for what seems like hours when it is mearly minutes, her ears ring from the loud music and voices surrounding her.

Her eyes drift across the room to see some more kids pile into the house. The costumes vary from vampires to sexy nuns. There was always something distasteful about costumes that are made sexy in Sharon’s taste. Perhaps it just wasn’t her cup of tea after all.

In the incoming crowd, there’s one girl that finally catches her eyes. Another blonde enters the room dressed in a sheer white top with borderline lingerie underneath. A ridiculously sparky halo hangs above her head paired with what makes out to be white wings strapped to her back. With Sharon’s interest peaked, she tries to lean over the couches arm to get a better look at the young girls face. She had disappeared from her sight.

“Well shit.” She mutters to herself as she stands to what she told herself, 'another beer’. In reality she was in a hunt for the piece of heaven she had gotten a glimps of. Pushing back through the crown was one task but to look through the giant house for a little angel was another. Making her way to the kitchen, Sharon scans the room for the blonde girl. She pushes towards the cooler of beers to grab another bottle and attempt to see the top of her halo. Her sparky little halo wasn’t staying in place by any means, she was on the move. With her beer in hand, Sharon tries to follow her calmly to where ever she was heading.

Bodies repeatly bumping into Sharon, she slowly becomes more and more annoyed. Each elbow jab to the side pushed her closer to pushing people out of her way completely. Squeezing between the last of the loud crowd she finds herself to the backdoor where the there was significantly less people. She scans the backyard as she pushes hair from her face, looking for the halo. Luckily the angel was sat near the pool with a cup in her hand. She talks to a girl in a cape. Sharon guessed from the behind view that she might be a vampire.

Sharon makes her way towards the pool to try and chat with the angel. The air was cool which was good for someone like her who was wearing all black, Halloweens always seemed to be hot but the night was looking to be in her favor. The caped girl turns around to see the approaching Sharon. The girl had wavey black hair much like her own and the brightest blue eyes anyone had ever seen, but Sharon had seen them before.

“Sharon?” The girl calls out, perking up with excitement.

“Wait- Katya!?” Sharon quickly runs towards the pool to be greeted with Katya standing up for a hug. Grabbing her quickly, Sharon spins the them around. Katya was a dear friend of hers who she never really sees. Since she lives across town, Sharon never has the time or money to visit her as often as usual. Their reunion is filled with laughs and smiles as they hug for a long moment. Sharon ends the hug to begin chatter with her old pal. She had completely forgotten about her initial game plan.

“So why are you in town?” She questions, smiling wide to the equally excited Katya. “Phi suggested this party so I decided to tag along.”

Sharon’s eyes widen as she looks down at the awkward woman that sat by the pool on her phone. Phi Phi was quietly on her phone to wait til the girls stopped their reunion. Nodding to Katya, Sharon pulls her towards the glass door silently. She had made a big mistake. “We’ll be back!” Katya yells to Phi Phi as she is forcefully moved.

Leaning against the house, Sharon quickly pulls out her box of cigarettes to hand one to Katya and placing one in her mouth. “Why did you drag me over here? Aren’t you two okay?”

“Yes! Yes yes yes- we are fine. Perfectly fine. But I just spent 10 mintutes to push through a crowd to figure out who she was because I thought she was hot. That’s an issue.” She lights her ciggerate and hands the lighter to Katya. Sharon nervously smokes, sipping her bottle between each puff of smoke. “So why not just ask her to fuck?”

That was not about to happen. “No! No no no! That’s a terrible idea. She would definitely tell me no. We just became okay with eachother so I doubt she’d say 'Ya know what Sharon, maybe we could fuck after we just patched up a year long dispute over your ex girfriend.’ That is NOT happening Katya! Not in a million years!” She huffs as she takes a long drag from her already almost burnt out cigarette. She had zero chances of fucking Phi Phi tonight. It was not even close to a possible goal. “You could at least ask! If she says no just say 'I’m sorry.’ Then it’ll be okay, right?”

“That’s so awkward! If she says no, I’ll just say sorry? That’s so fucking akward!”

“Then just don’t ask, okay?! I need to go sit with my friend so you can join if you’d like.” Katya turns to walk back to her friend who sat alone, but is quickly snatched back by Sharon. “But don’t tell her I said any of this. Got it?”

“I’m pretty sure she can hear us from here.” Katya detaches Sharon’s hand from her wrist and walks to the poolside. Sharon leans herself against the side of the house, lighting a new cigarette for herself.

She thought to herself that may have been the most awkward conversation she’s had in awhile. How was she supposed to respond? Her old friend suggesting she simply ask her ex-enemy to have sex for the night was a crazy stupid concept. She knew better than to ruin that new found comfortablilty with Phi Phi. All she thought was she look cute tonight. That could be an understatement, she looked more than just cute. Sharon admits to herself that she looks hot.

Her eyes lazily staring in her direction, she looks at her angel wings. They were poorly made, as if they just came in a pack with the halo. She twirls her finger around a lock of hair, finishing up her cigarette as she turns to go back into the house. Maybe she should just go back home period, snag a few beers on her way out and get a taxi. Before being able to plan out her way home, Sharon is stopped from re entering the noisey home by a hand on her shoulder.

Turning quickly to see who’s touching her, she’s faced with angel she had followed around. Phi Phi has a smile painted across her face as if Katya didn’t just tell her everything about the conversation she just had with Sharon. Nonetheless, she stands in front of Sharon who could feel herself heat up with nervousness. “Oh- Hey.” Is all Sharon can blurt out. She was at a loss for words.

“Don’t act so stiff like you don’t know me. How have you been?” Phi Phi bounces in her place with a smile still on her face. Her happiness was so vibrent, Sharon could feel herself start to smile like an idiot. She fiddles with her jacket before speaking with a timid voice “I’m good! I’m good. uh- how much did Katya tell you?”

Phi Phi raises a brow before responding to Sharons nervous question. She turns around to look at Katya, who had quickly taken a liking to a young woman dressed as a Barbie. “What do you mean?” As Phi Phi turns back around, she cocks her head to the side ever so slightly like a confused puppy. Katya had kept her mouth shut for once, and Sharon was suprised. With Phi Phi now standing there confused, all she could do was try and change the subject from her slight fuck up. “Uh, nevermind that. So where are you staying nowadays?”

“I actually just moved back in town, Guess I just missed the area too much.” Phi Phi smiles wide, shaking the confusion into the back of her mind. She fiddles with her sheer top, awaiting Sharon’s delayed response. Sharon had been too busy staring at her costume. “Oh thats great! I’m still living where I used to.”

“The apartments? I thought you hated it there!”

Sharon smiles sheepishly, running her hand on the back of her neck. “I hate the people in the building, but it’s nice. Just me, myself, and the ghost that likes to knock down my picture frames in my own little space.” If only the ghost was a joke. Sharon had questioned the random falling of picture frames to be a spirit for quite some time now, but often just ignores it. Phi Phis eyes lit up at the ghost joke, she smiles and chuckles over it.

“Well how’s dating been since you and Alaska broke up? Are you two still friends?” Phi Phi was hesistant to pop the question regarding her ex. It was a well known fact that she hadn’t always liked Alaska during their relationship.

“I havent jumped into another relationship but of course we’re friends. It was for the best ya know? We still hang out all the time.” Sharon reaches into her pocket for another ciggerate and holds it between her lips. “What about you? Seeing anyone?”

Phi Phi smiles sheepishly at the question. She wasn’t much of a relationship kind of person. Being on her own was kind of her thing. She would have flings here and there with men and women alike but nothing steady, nothing worth mentioning. “Nah, dating isn’t my speed. Prefer to come and go as I please.” Phi Phi takes a sip of her beer and leans against the brick wall, watching Katya scramble to flirt with the gorgeous, tall, blonde she had met. “I guess I really like being alone. I have friends to make sure I’m all good, I don’t need one person to emotionally depend on for help AND have to romantically be involved with them.”

“Keep your emotions and your romance separate I see. Same old same old.” Sharon chuckles and leans on the wall next to her. She blows smoke out and flicks ashes from her cigarette onto the patio. They both sat in silence as they looked around at all the people who had found their way into the backyard. People pushed into the pool, guys flirting with girls and getting rejected, blunts being shared to top it all off. It was like the perfect party scene you’d see in movies. Sharon turns to Phi Phi who is still focused on the surroundings, almost looking on awe. She takes another puff of her cigarette.

“Looks like Katyas getting laid tonight.” Phi Phi says, watching as the vampire and the Barbie sneak to the back of the house. She sighs a little and sips her beer. “I should probably should go interven so I’m not left here alone.” Phi Phi steps away from the wall and adjusts her outfit, along with her angel wings. She looks reluctant and seemingly saddened. Before she could say her goodbyes to Sharon, she’s yanked back towards the wall by her waist. Sharon pulls her close, holding her in place. “Please don’t leave just yet, or at least let me give you something before you go and cock block Katya.” She smoothes down the shear fabric that she had pulled Phi Phi closer by.

Phi Phi looks confused but stands there willingly. The tight grip on her waist to with the gentle, smoothing touch makes her turn to putty. She watches as Sharon’s mind scrambles to find a reason for her to stay longer. Her eyes bolt around for something to distract Phi Phi long enough to forget about Katya. Watching as her nervous facial expression grows and Sharon’s eyes scans the surrounds behind her, Phi Phi moves closer, pressing her into the wall.

She stands on her tippy toes and cups Sharon’s face. Gently pressing her lips against hers, Phi Phi keeps Sharon’s face in place to assure she doesn’t pull away. But she wouldn’t, Sharon didn’t plan on moving away. She stayed still, soaking in every second of the strange kiss. Her cigarette falls from between her fingers, every inch of Sharons body turns to mush. Phi Phi slowly smiles into the kiss before gentle pulling herself away before getting too wrapped up. She looks Sharon back in her eyes that now appear glazed over. Speechless, Phi Phi just wraps her arms around her torso in a long hug. Sharon smiles softly before wrapping her arms around the smaller girl.

“I’m really tipsy, I’m sorry I don’t know how to react.” Sharon says quietly. Phi Phi nods and rests her head onto her chest. “You looked anxious about me leaving so I distracted you. Did it work?”

“Of course it worked. I’ve wanted to kiss you all night. You look so cute as an angel.”

Phi Phi pulls away from the hug and looks up at Sharon with a big smile. “You wanted to kiss me all night?” She was genuinely shocked by it. Sharon was the last person she thought would want to kiss her, but Phi Phi knew she really wanted to kiss her. At least both of their wishes came true.

Sharon laughs and rubs the back of her neck nervously. She had completely forgotten that Katya didn’t infact tell Phi Phi about her chase after her through the party just to fuck her. Having Sharon, someone who used to hate Phi Phis guts, saying she had been dying to kiss her all night was a shocker. “Yeah… I actually didn’t recognize you when I saw you come in tonight and my first thought was I wanted to take you home with me. Is that too weird? Considering our history?”

Phi Phi laughs at the new found knowledge and smirks ever so slightly. Sharon sure did have a thing for blondes. “It’s only weird because everything about you is weird. But why don’t you just take me home, hm?” Phi Phi reaches her arm up and flicks the plastic horns that sat on Sharons head. She grins up at the now bashful Sharon. Her ghostly cheeks start bubbling up with blood at just the thought of this angel coming home with her. To her it didn’t feel like a real offer.

“Do you want to? Like actually?” Eyes widening, her nerves flood out in her speech, Sharon pulls a new cigarette from her pack in hopes to calm down.

“Only if you want to Shar-Bear. But considering I just held you against a wall to kiss you, proves that I would love to.” She bounces in her place, still smiling at the blushing Sharon. The offer starts to really sound good to Sharon as the nicotine floods her bloodstream. She takes a deep breathe before speaking. “I’d love to as well. This really is a full circle moment. From enemy’s, to friends, to fucking…”

“Oh shut up! I’m going to go tell Katya, okay? So she knows where I am.”

Phi Phi walks off to go search for her friend to make sure she was still alive and that she would need a ride in the morning. Sharon watched as she walks off to find Katya and she can do is smile. She was happy, but she wasn’t sure why. The random kiss from what was forbidden lips had really made her feel her heart thump a little harder. The harder heartbeats hadn’t been felt since she was with Alaska. Smiling as she takes in a long drag from her cigarette, she leans her head back onto the wall. A cloud of smoke is flooded in front of her as she exhales.

As the blonde angel comes running back, Sharon has finished her cigarette. Toss the butt down to the ground she holds her hands in her pocket. “Katya says she get me tomorrow morning if that’s alright?” Phi Phi abruptly stops in front of Sharon, attempting to catch her breath. Her halo had fallen crooked and some strains of hair in her face. Sharon smiles and moves the stray hair a behind her ear. “That’s fine with me. So, let’s blow this popsicle stand?”

Your phone vibrates and dings from your bedside table, you turn to look at it and question if you REALLY want to check it. Who in their right mind texts you during your special time of binge watching (insert fave show here). Another ding interrupts a punchline that you couldn’t catch because you were too distracted to pay attention. Grunting you roll towards the bedside table and check who was being a little devil tonight.

“Oh,” you say out loud and smile.

It was from the boys group chat without Taehyung, they were announcing that they changed the gc name to TaeY/n. Ever since you confessed the truth they wanted to nonstop try and “accidentally” make you and Tae to hang out together. Jungkook even suggested you to come over and help him “cook” but in reality you’d be hiding out together awaiting Tae’s arrival from work or class.

*You guys are so dumb. But I love you all.* you texted back.

*Incoming facetime call from.. Yoongi Oppa😎*

“Y/n!!!!!!!!!” you hear a smol bean, Jimin yell from the phone.

“Hi Chimmy!” a smile appears on your face.

“Hey babe,” Yoongi pops his head next to Jimin’s.

“Oh my min kitty... I knew you wouldn’t let Chimmy use your phone just to call me.”

“ACTUALLY, you won’t believe when I tell you this but-” Jimin says.

“Friday. our place. party. be here.” Yoongi says cutting off Jimin’s long response.

“Hyung, you said I could invite her,”

“Jimin you were taking years.”

“Fine hmph.”

“Is Taehyung invited?” you say nervously.

“Well, we were going to ask invite him next.”

“Oh.. I don’t know guys. I haven’t seen him in like days and we have some of the same classes.”

“He’s just being dumb, Y/n. You should come and confront him or just talk to him.”

“Jimin, I doubt he’ll even come close to me.”

“Please babe. I need you here. Last party I almost made a huge mistake.”

“Oh? And you never told me!?”

“I will if you come...”

“Alright, I might make an appearance.”

“Ew I hated that response, but yay because we get to spend time with you.”

And just like that the conversation died and you laid in your bed. Mind racing and a million thoughts running through your head you look up to your ceiling. Has all this even been worth it? He seems further from your reach than before; before you had him at an arm's length away at all times. If he wasn’t physically there he could be in a matter of minutes because he’d never hesitate to come over if you texted him “I need you.” At times it confused you, if you’re just best friends, why is he so willing to drop anyone or anything to come running straight to you? But then you think back at all the times you’ve asked him this very question and he just replies with a simple, “Because nothing’s more important than your happiness.” Thinking about him felt like running around on track, constantly going in circles, never having an end to your emotions. Loving him felt so right though, it felt like a perfect fit, the perfect man, the perfect feeling.

There were times when he’d just talk and talk and you would stare at his face memorizing every single feature and how his face moves when he speaks. How his mouth stretches into a boxy smile every time he thought he was being funny. How his eyes would wrinkle at the corners as the apples of his cheeks rose up to his eyes. How a nice light shade of pink was permanently on his cheeks and a cute little freckle on the tip of his nose. If you were both really upset, he’d sing. In those moments you’d embrace him in a nice long hug as you laid down on either your bed or his, and listen to his beautiful voice. You’d always tell him he could become famous with a voice like his but he’d just shake his head and say he doesn’t want that. If he becomes famous, he wants it to be because he was able to show others how he sees the world; all the beautiful but also all the ugly.

You felt so over dramatic thinking about these moments as if they weren’t just a couple months ago. You hadn’t properly talked in two weeks, yet it feels like years. You had gotten attached (something you always wished wouldn’t happen because you knew he was out of reach) romantically.

Turning on your side you remember a conversation you had last year at the beginning of the school year. Out of curiosity, you asked him what he’s planning to do about dating and girls - to see if you had a chance. He said he didn’t want a relationship, not now at least, he wanted to have fun and mess around. He said he tried the relationship thing and it didn’t work out well because he felt unhappy. You tried telling him it was only because he never cared for this girl and she didn’t care about him. But he disagreed, he said he rather mess around and not have any feelings for a girl in that way and not have anyone feel that way for him. You tried to understand what he was saying but you just couldn’t. A little hurt you try to make light of the situation and say that he’ll have a lot of girls feeling that way. He laughed and said “I hope not.”

Finally your mind has let you drift off into a deep sleep, allowing you to have a moment without Taehyung always on your mind.

*Fast forward*

The week has finally come to an end and the weekend has begun. Your first plan for the weekend is to attend Yoongi and Jimin���s party; which in all honesty doesn’t sound like fun. After skipping out on last week’s, the boys really tried to push you to come so you could stop moping about Taehyung but it didn’t make sense to you. He’d be there so your mind would very clearly wander to think of him and constantly watching him. However, here you are getting ready and texting the TaeY/n group chat what should you wear.

Jimin asked you to come earlier because he wanted help to set up because Yoongi refused to even help set up. His excuse was that he had to charge for at least 2 hours before being used. On your way to their place you notice a car just like Taehyung’s driving behind you, at a red light you look at the rearview mirror to see a better glimpse of the car. Instead you see a blank expression faced Tae sitting behind the wheel staring hard at the light above. You giggle for second until it hits you, you’re turning into Jimin and Yoongi’s neighborhood.

“Oh god no.” You shake your head and put your head down knowing this is all the guys meddling into your life.

Suddenly, a loud beep scares you and you look up, the light had turned green and Tae had honked for you to stop being a dumbass and go. You pull up to the place and park, right behind you is Taehyung and you see that not until now has he realized it’s you. He waits for you to shut off your car first and get out first so you don’t have an awkward encounter at the door or even just outside where you both had parked. You act as if you had no idea and make your way up the door steps and knock on the door. Not even a second later Jimin opens the door with a huge smile on his face, he pulls you into a hug and grabs a hold of your hand pulling you. You look around at what Jimin had done to get the place ready, and you notice their living room had the coffee table filled with blacklights and blacklight reactive paint.

He sees you scanning everywhere and he speaks up, “This is probably the one and only time hyung will agree to a party here, so why not go all out and have the best one of the year.”

“I like your thinking Jiminie.” You hear a deep raspy voice from behind you.

“That’s why I’m the greatest!” He walks up to the voice, “Welcome Taehyung.”

“So, you just need me to set up the lights or like make the jungle juice?” you awkwardly say as you look up to Jimin with wide eyes.

He smiles evilly, “Actually, if I’m not wrong, you and Tae make the best jungle juice so if this is going to be the best party of the year, we need to have the best of everything.”

“Alright,” Tae agrees.

Without another word the both of you make your way to the kitchen and you look back at Jimin, all he does and give you two thumbs up and mouths “I love you”. In the kitchen, you start to look around for the regular drinks you use to make the jungle juice Jimin speaks of.

“How strong do you think we should make it?” Tae speaks up.

“Uh.. I don’t know. How big of a mess is too big for them?”

you try to be as nonchalant as possible.

“So extra strong!”

“Mhm”  

You grab the big bottle of lemonade and a fruit punch bottle to pour in the bowl; Tae grabs a Vodka bottle and a tequila bottle. Deciding extra strong Tae grabs one more vodka bottle and asks you to pour another fruit punch into the mix to mask the alcohol taste.

“So how have you been? Haven’t seen much of you these last two weeks.” You say as you finish.

“I’ve been pretty busy honestly. But I’ve been good. And you?”

“Pretty boring. I’ve spent most of my time here or at our parents house, you know Namjin.”

“Oh. I figured you were having fun since I’ve seen you go out with Yoongi like every single day.”

“Nope. We’ve only gone out like 3 days in a row. I only spend so much time here because Jimin enjoys (show here) as much I do. I tried asking you to come but you kept saying you couldn’t.”

“Mm. Yeah actually, I was with someone most nights you asked...”

“Oh? Do I know this someone?”

“Doubt it. I met her at the party we had at my place. 2 weeks ago.”

“Mm that’s cool.”

“Well I’m going to try and disconnect Yoongi from the charger to see if he’s ready to pregame with me.”

“Uh oh o-okay”

You walk away and turn to go up to Yoongi’s room, Jimin sees you walking out without a smile on your face as he expected you to be. He decided against asking what happened to try and avoid Tae from listening in. As you reach the door to Yoongi’s room, there’s a quiet melody playing on the other side, he’s probably still asleep you think. You knock softly in order to not disturb him.

“Come in”

“Hi Kitty oppa. You should’ve warned me he’d be here so I could’ve come straight up here and charged with you.” You sit next to him at the edge of his bed.

“It was all Jimin’s and the other’s idea. I was too lazy to disagree or give warnings. Sorry babe.” He sits up and kisses your forehead.

“You know, he told me that he’s been with the same girl for two weeks. That’s a new record. His last record was 5 hours, and that’s only because he really wanted to try fucking her with different ties on to see if it changed how it felt.”

“This is the man you want to be your boyfriend? Geez babe. He’s a little cooky don’t you think?”

“Oh for sure! But it’s what makes me be into him even more.”

“Oh little one, how cute and innocent. I’m going to engulf you into cuddles and my love to cheer you up now.” And with that he hugs you tightly and pulls you into his chest.

His arms are tightly wrapped around your body and he’s pulling you up to lay correctly next to him on the bed. You’re facing each other and your faces are so close you can feel his breathing on your forehead.

Out of nowhere you feel his warm lips on the tip of your nose and he softly whispers, “I know he’s technically your bestest friend out of all of us, but I think I’m stealing his position. Also please don’t fall for me because I can’t hurt you like that. I’m letting you know right now, I have feelings for someone else.”

You pull away, “Ew gross Yoongi! Feelings?! But you don’t have to worry kitty. If I could I’d fall for you but I just don’t feel it in me.”

“Good. I love you, but very platonically. You’re like the other half of me, but like very very platonically.”

“Ugh I get it. I’M JUST A FRIEND!”

“The bestest though.” again his lips kiss your nose. “He’s so dumb you know. He really thinks he can lie like that and say he’s been with some girl when Jungkook clearly told us he’s been binge watching disney princess movies all week.”

“Are you serious?”

“Mhmm. He’s been blasting the soundtracks and referencing them as much as he can.”

“Kitty, I don’t want to drink too much today. So lets pregame and get buzzed.”

“Okay babe whatever my little y/n wants.”

You both get up out of bed and you make your way through the door letting him know you’ll be downstairs so he can change.

As soon as you reach the first floor the door swings open and your other four best friends walk right in and make their presence known. They all huddle around you and give you a warm hug. You giggle and greet each of them.

Now that they’re here the party is about to begin and in a matter of minutes the hundreds of college students that have become all too familiar will fill up their house. Yoongi makes his way down and the boys greet him with a smile and start to ask him to pregame before anyone arrives.

“Come on Y/n!” He says as he grabs your hand leading you to the kitchen.

From a distance you see Tae staring at you with yet another blank expression but all you do is turn to look at him with a smile. You take a couple shots of the leftover tequila and pour yourself a cup of jungle juice. Tae walks in and does the same but chugs the jungle juice in one go, the guys and you look at him in shock.

“What? Jimin said it had to be the best so I’m going to get really fucked up tonight.”

“Well if you are, you’re either staying here or I’m driving you home.” Hoseok said taking a sip of his water, “I’ve been made dd tonight so give me your car keys.”

You couldn’t help but look at him, he was so beautiful. His cocky attitude was so present though, you knew he wanted to get on your nerves and bother you tonight. For two weeks he had managed to avoid you as much as possible, ignore most of your texts and calls, miss classes you both shared, not come to group hangouts when you were there. After Yoongi told you he hadn’t really been busy, you couldn’t help but feel even more hurt. A piece of you though took it as a sign he was extremely jealous and mad at you for spending so much time with another guy that wasn’t him, but also a guy he’s seen you do non-friendly actions with.

On the other side we have Taehyung and his messy, messy, thoughts. From the moment he realized you were driving in front of him his body stiffened and he couldn’t help but feel a little scared. He knew he had been dumb and avoiding you, his best friend, for way too long but he couldn’t help it. Every time he’d look at you, or think about you, or see your name anywhere, memories of your lips against Yoongi’s would fill his mind. It confused the hell out of him because it wasn’t like it was just a flashback, it came with emotions he hadn’t had for another girl before. Feelings he didn’t want, not right now. Feelings he felt weren’t right. The first night he saw you guys kiss he walked away and felt a sharp pain against his chest and his head began to spin. From that night he couldn’t let it go, even when you’d say it meant nothing, he didn’t want you hooking up with someone he knew so well.

Every night he laid in bed watching your favorite movies, eating your favorite snacks, while wearing your favorite hoodie of his. He missed you so badly but refused to talk to you or see you. He tried everything to get over his little moping session but he couldn’t. He was lost and confused. He never imagined he could feel his heart beat for another person, and have that person be you. He knew he was jealous, he knew that he was falling for you, he knew you meant a lot to him but he didn’t want to accept it. It wasn’t new either. From the moment he had become your best friend he knew he fell for you; dropping whatever he was doing to come to you.

He didn’t lie when he said your happiness was more important than anything else. But it was a little too late to admit his feelings for you; he had become the biggest dick and fuckboy around campus. He didn’t want you to be with a guy like him, not ever; you deserved so much better he thought. Standing in that kitchen watching you laugh with Yoongi hurt him more than he liked to admit so he began to drink. As the party started up and most of the people arrived he kept drinking, and kept his eyes on you.

You had been watching him the entire night take shot after shot, drinking more than usual. Since you’re pretty sober you decide maybe you should go up and talk to him and try your best to act as if nothing has happened, once again. Before you make your way to Taehyung you feel someone tap your shoulder.

Turning to see who it could be you see a smiling Hobi and leans down to your ear, “I’ve been watching him too. Let’s go together so you don’t feel overwhelmed.”

You smile up at him and agree, “Thank you Hobi oppa.”

When you reach him he smiles at the both of you and loudly says, “Heyyy!”

“You’re so drunk Taehyung-ah” Hobi giggles.

“I feel great tho! Look at how everyone’s shirts are lighting up,” he points to the people.

“How much have you drank?” you ask.

“I don’t know I lost count after my fourth shot,” he shrugged and leaned against the wall behind him.

The other guys must have noticed the three of you talking because they all came to join you. They began to talk about school and how frustrating studying for midterms had become. Even though there was loud house music playing and hundreds of drunk college kids all around, you guys seemed to be in your element. Joking around and just talking like the usual hangout, only with paint all over your faces. You hadn’t noticed but Taehyung was staring at you for most of the conversation, he couldn’t keep his eyes off of you. He felt so happy being able to see your face again, all its beauty, feeling his heartbeat began to slow down despite all the alcohol in his system. You seemed to have that effect on him, being around you calmed him down, always.

It could’ve been the alcohol in his bloodstream affecting his reactions and judgement or the fact that he just wanted to hold you; but he walked up to you and lent down to whisper in your ear.

“I’m really in the mood to dance. Wanna join me?” he stands straight again awaiting your response.

You look up at him in shock, “Uh- uh s-sure.”

He smiles and reaches for your hand intertwining your fingers, leading you to the makeshift dance floor in the living room. You turn around to see the reactions of your best friends and they all have the same cute dumb smile planted on their faces. Yoongi is even cheering but you can’t hear it because of the music.

On the dance floor Tae awkwardly waits for you to move first to see how close he’s allowed to get. At first you’re both facing each other and just sort of moving to the music but it felt weird. You begin to laugh and he does too.

“This is so weird right? It’s like we don’t even know each other,” he screams over the music.

“I know, we’re being too awkward. You don’t mind if I take the lead?”

“No I was hoping you would. I don’t want to do anything you aren’t okay with.”

Such a gentleman you thought. You turn around and press your back into his chest, and he slowly wraps his arms around your waist speaking into your ear to see if that’s okay. You just nod and allow your body to feel the music. He begins to move along with you trying his best to not be how he usually is with girls and let you control anything that happens. Having him so close felt so great, it felt like maybe things would change now. Your mind finally calmed down and nothing really mattered in that moment. Sure what you were doing wasn’t that romantic but being in his arms was all you wanted in the last two weeks.

Having you on him moving along to the music he couldn’t help but to smile so big. He was happy, he had the girl he couldn’t stop thinking about around his arms. Maybe he was overreacting, maybe this could work. This could be something, he could change his dickhead ways to be with her. He wasn’t really that bad to begin with, always respectful to women; he just slept around and didn’t care about the consequences.

He felt your small hands come on top of his and you intertwine your fingers together, you get as close as possible to him having your ass press against his waist. Your head began to run wild with crazy ideas; you just wanted to turn around and kiss him. You fought yourself over it, he’s too drunk to remember it; he could also get mad because he’d think this is your new thing. Dance with any guy and kiss them as it started to get steamier.

The way you pressed on him drove him wild. His head leaned back and his grip on you slightly loosened as he wasn’t expecting you to be so close to his little friend. You kept grinding against him, the grinding becoming more intense than he ever imagined it getting. His hips began to move at same force and speed as you.

He pulls your hair to the side, “I really missed you, y/n.” he pulled back for a second until he realized you might take it the wrong way.

You turned around while his arms were still around you and you lifted your arms up to his neck, “I missed you too, Tae. Never ignore me like that again.” you pouted.

“Never again princess. I was being stupid. Forgive me?”

“Only on one condition.”

“Anything, for you.”

“Kiss me.” you say standing up on your tippy toes getting closer.

“Seriously?” he says shocked.

You just nod and close your eyes, preparing for his lips to connect with yours. The first second he didn’t kiss you, you thought he was rejecting you or he thought you were playing around. But as you were about to open your eyes his lips touch yours in the softest way possible.

He pulled away and looked at you, “I always imagined your lips to feel like pillows but now I know they’re even better than that. Can I kiss you again?”

“Please do.”

This time the kiss was a lot deeper, much more passionate. He didn’t want to stop kissing you. He wanted to hold you in this position, if it was possible, forever. You pull away and look up at him. Without thinking it through you step away from him and grab his hand. You lead him up the stairs into one of the guy’s room.

Once you’ve entered he sits down on the bed on Jimin’s room and looks at you a little confused.

“I didn’t bring you hear to, ya know, do it,” you smile and sit next to him, “I just want to talk.”

“I didn’t think you did.”

“Are you still pretty drunk?” you lean back and lay on the bed.

He follows your same actions, “No you grinding on me really sobered me up. I thought I was hallucinating for a second.”

You turn your head, “You’re so cute. Stop.”

“I’m being serious. Those kisses though…” he brought his hands up to his heart and acted as if he had be shot by cupid.

“I hate you,” you playfully push him off the bed.

“Out of, uh, you know, curiosity… Is that like a common thing you do? Kiss guys?”

“I had a feeling you would ask that… but no its not.”

“But you and hyung have-”

“That didn’t mean anything to either of us. It was all the drinking. I’m pretty much sober today, so our kiss wasn’t a mistake.”

Silence falls between the two of you, until he speaks up.

“Are you saying it meant something?”

Jim carried his tension in his shoulders and carried his guilt in his back. He carried his exhaustion in the dark bags under his eyes and carried his anxiousness in the tips of his fingers. He carried his sadness in the drooping corners of his lips, in the crevices of his stomach that flipped intermittently, in the deepest parts of his chest that ached far too often and carried the love that was ruining him everywhere else.

It was a red feeling and it burned in his every vein. It made it tough for him to eat, it made it difficult for him sleep, it made it impossible for him to do anything other than go through the motions he was required by job description to follow.

He would see you in the corridors every now and then and the red feeling would scorch deeper. He had to resist the urge to scream an apology each time and had to resist the even stronger urge to scream an “I love you” each time.

His eyes would follow you, though, and he did nothing else. He would look longingly after you with his lips forcefully shut, his hands forcefully clenched into fists, his heartbeat forcefully knocking against your ribcage— but he did nothing else.

Because he did love you— he loved you so goddamn much it was almost crippling.

Crippling because his love for you ran so deep and had run so deep for so long that he couldn’t stand the idea of not giving you what you wanted. Crippling because what you wanted was space. Crippling because what you wanted was space from him.

He kept himself far away from everywhere he knew you’d be— you did want space, after all. As such, he avoided the senior officers lounge, avoided the observation deck right above his ready room, avoided the far back right corner of the commissary, and avoided the medbay to the best of his abilities. He would only walk through the doors leading to stark white walls, rows of biobeds, and blue uniforms when Leonard practically forced him to have a drink.

He didn’t expected you to come searching for him, nor did he expect you to pass a message through Leonard or Uhura that would eventually find its way to him.

He just hoped for that.

He hoped you would show up outside the quarters you once shared with him, features as soft and mesmerizing as the last time he’d seen you, and would say with the most thin sheen of tears over your eyes, “Jim, I love you. Let’s talk about this.”

But he knew that wouldn’t happen.

So he hoped you would ask Leonard or Uhura to tell him that you loved him and wanted to speak to him.

But he knew that wouldn’t happen either.

He sat in Leonard’s office, in Leonard’s large chair with his feet atop the desk, legs crossed at the ankle. He held a glass filled a third of the way with whiskey at his eye level, narrowing his eyes as the auburn liquid. He then smiled, small and genuine, as he repeated something you said to him the last time he saw you drunk, “If alcohol was actually intoxicating, the bottles would sway, too.”

“What?”

He shook his head at Leonard who stood with a questioning gaze at the agape doorway. “You coaxed me into coming here only to have me drink alone. I could’ve done that in the comfort of my own quarters.”

“S’the first step towards alcoholism. Drinking in your home alone.”

Jim frowned in consideration. “I always thought the first step was genetic predisposition.”

Leonard snorted, shaking his head once. “Listen, I hate to do this to you but we just got a full swarm of red shirts in— some sorta jefferies tube collapse. You might be here by yourself for a while.”

“Do what you have to, Bones. No need to feel guilty on my account.”

“Don’t feel guilty at all, Jim. Just thought I should notify you before you scream abandonment.”

Jim mouthed Leonard’s words back to him imitatively and very childishly before waving his hand dismissively. He was a grown man. He didn’t need constant supervision and a real father of a best friend. He could be alone for a few moments, he would just need a distraction.

He began scrolling absentmindedly through his PADD, opening his messages to Spock to maybe irritate the Vulcan.

He shook his head to himself and decided against it, draining what remained in his glass only to fill it once again.

He then opened his thread with you, smiling immediately at the last incoming message dated nearly two weeks ago.

I know you’re drinking with Len tonight for some manly men sharing their feelings time but I love, want, and need you so please cancel on him.

He couldn’t believe how fast he’d canceled those plans— he hadn’t even given Leonard a chance to protest— and he knew he would do it just as quickly again.

He tossed the PADD back down after he typed out I miss you thirteen times only to delete it thirteen times, the tablet clattering against the desk’s surface.

With a sigh, his head fell back against the edge of the chair’s backrest. His eyes slipped shut.

There was a loud laugh just outside the door that prompted him to pick his head up, his heart leaping to his throat as he strained his hearing.

“I look amazing, Chapel. And not just for someone that hasn’t slept in forty-eight hours,” you quipped, your voice growing louder and closer until you raced to Leonard’s doorway— it was open so you assumed the doctor was in.

Taking hold of the doorframe so the momentum of your quick steps didn’t carry you too far, you sighed out with your eyes still on your PADD. “Len, I was reading so someone better be dying—”

You stopped speaking when you looked up, meeting a delicate blue gaze which was simultaneously too far and too close. You felt something lodge itself in your throat.

Though it’d only been three days since he’d caught even a fleeting glance, he could’ve sworn you’d gotten more beautiful, far more enchanting. He swallowed thickly. “Jefferies tube accident.”

You nodded, there was sandpaper where your larynx used to be. “Okay.”

“Bones is out there.”

You nodded again. “Aye, Captain.”

And you were gone— no smile, no matter how momentary, pulled at your lips like the foolishly hopeful part of him had wished and searched for.

“Fuck,” he groaned loudly, an ironic laugh falling from his lips as his head fell back once more.

As you snapped gloves onto your hands and picked up a handheld dermal regenerator, you made a face at Leonard. “You couldn’t have told me he would be in your office?”

“Who would be in my office?”

You smiled sarcastically, sitting before an ensign with a few minor cuts and bruises on her arms. “You-know-who is in your office, Len— drinking alone, which I think is the first sign of alcoholism.”

“It is,” the ensign replied, her voice soft and timid. She had a small smile over her pink lips when you glanced at her, mousy brown hair a mess from what you assumed was quite the usual engineering fiasco. “It is the first sign.”

You motioned towards her when you looked at Leonard once again. “See?”

He peered at you from the corner of his eye, pausing in his movements for a moment as he sat atop a stool before another red shirt. “Didn’t know you were suddenly concerned about him.”

“I’m concerned about everyone— I’m a doctor, I took an oath to be concerned about everyone’s health in general.”

“Yeah? Not about him in particular?”

You shook your head silently.

“Is he talking about the captain?” the ensign before you nearly whispered, leaning towards you as she spoke. Her eyebrows were raised and she wore another smile. “Is Dr. McCoy talking about Captain Kirk?”

You met Leonard’s gaze before meeting hers again. You shrugged.

“Are you two fighting?” she asked, eyes wide before gasping out, “Are you splitting up?”

You shook your head. “No one’s splitting up, we’re just fighting.”

“You are?” Leonard inquired loudly, smirking as he wrapped gauze around his patient’s ankle. “Might wanna tell Jim that, sugar— he’s awfully concerned this is permanent.”

When you were certain she was no longer looking, you made a face at Leonard with gritted teeth. “I’m gonna let him sweat it out.”

“He’ll be dehydrated soon with low long you’re lettin’ him sweat it out.”

“Then start him on an IV and stop pushing it,” you pressed, narrowing your eyes. “I’m done here. Anything else the nurses and other doctors could do for you that you need from me, Doctor? I did work alpha and beta so it’s not like I’m that tired.”

“Cut the attitude.”

“Cut the child-of-divorce act.”

“Divorce?” the ensign gasped, grey eyes wide when you looked her way. “You are splitting up!”

“It’s an expression,” you explained, scowling. “We aren’t getting a divorce, Doctor McCoy is just acting like we already have.”

“You’re actin’ like you already have.” Leonard twisted in his stool to face the ensign, his patient hobbling off. “Hasn’t even told him she loves him for days.”

Another gasp from the ensign and you rolled your eyes with a heavy sigh. “Len, I swear to God,” you nearly shouted in frustration, rising from your stool and handing off your dermal regenerator and PADD to the nurse behind you.

You stormed past every remaining red shirt, of which there weren’t many, and ignored the curious looks you received. Stepping into Leonard’s office, you slammed your hand down on the control panel beside the door and spun around to meet Jim’s wide eyes.

“Are you—”

“I thought you were going to give me time,” you said as you crossed your arms over your chest. Though it sent your heart into your stomach to even look at him, you kept your eyes on him and didn’t let your gaze waver— you needed to keep your resolve.

His eyebrows came together and you found yourself memorizing the crease on his forehead. “I have been.”

“Really?” you laughed without humor. “You think by not speaking to me but sending Len to do your bidding, you’re giving me time?” You nodded upwards, trying not to focus too long on the droop of his lips, the wetness of his eyes, the tension in his posture. “You think by having him talk about you, praise you, and make it seem like I’m in the wrong, you’re giving me time?”

“I didn’t tell him to do any of that,” he argued, setting his glass down and standing up so you could commit even his movements to memory. “I told him to leave you be.”

When you asked with a sarcastic snort, “You sure, Jim?” he found himself disliking the sound of his name in your voice for the first time. “Because I’ve never heard or seen propaganda quite like that.”

“Propagan—” he sighed out with a chuckle under his breath, he took a few steps towards you. “I wouldn’t ask him to say or do something to propagate myself, not when I feel like everything—” he sighed again. “Not when everything’s my fault.”

“You should know me better than that,” he added quietly, finally able to tear his eyes away from the horribly fallen look in yours.

“How can I know anything about you, Jim? For all I know, all of that giving me time, giving me space, giving me what I want could just be another way you manipulate me.” You looked away as well, wiping the skin under your eyes harshly. “Why should I believe anything you say to me anymore?”

“Because you know me, because it was a mistake, because I love you!”

“This isn’t how you love someone!” you shouted back, your voice cracking. “You should’ve told me— if not that morning, then any time after. You had so many opportunities.”

“Why would I have thought to do that? You would’ve—”

“I would’ve, what?” you asked, sniffling and wishing you hadn’t met his gaze again. “Said no? You could’ve just told me how you felt. I liked you a lot— it wouldn’t have taken much to convince me to go on a date.”

“You never gave me any indication of that.”

“That doesn’t give you the right to lie to get what you want.”

He nodded and took another step in your direction, continuing to do so as you both spoke. “You’re right, I’m sorry.”

“I know I’m right, I don’t need confirmation.” You almost smiled at his quiet snort. “You lied to me.”

“I know.”

“You don’t lie to people you love.”

“I know.”

“I’ve been heartbroken for two weeks,” you continued, shaking your head. “I haven’t been able to sleep, or eat, or breathe.”

He was right in front of you now, his warmth forcing the restlessness in your fingers to cease. “Neither have I.”

Your nostrils flared and you bit down on your bottom lip when another wave washed over you, your eyes welling up. Before you could help yourself, you fell into Jim and wrapped your arms around him. “Yeah, well, it was your fault.”

His arms wound around you instantly, holding you tight enough to knock the air from your lungs. He turned his face to bury it in the crook of your neck, the tension leaving his shoulders when your arms tightened. “I know.”

You sighed out and let your eyes shut when a soft tingle slid up your spine.

“I didn’t mean to manipulate you. I just couldn’t stand the idea of losing whatever chance I had with someone I’m so in love with.”

You nodded. “You still should have told me. Would’ve saved us from whatever this is.”

“I know.”

“I hate my new quarters.”

He laughed through his nose, this thumbs moving out of sync against the fabric of your uniform. “Move back.”

“I can’t.”

He pulled away and set his hands on either side of your face, his thumbs now gliding across your cheekbones. His blue eyes seemed to be pouring whatever he felt into you and you looked away before it became too much. “Why not?”

“Because I’m not doing this backwards nonsense anymore if I don’t have to.”

“Starlight, —”

You took a step back and away so his hands were by his side again. “I can’t be married to you anymore.”

‘I miss you babe. 😔’ You smiled at the message on your screen and quickly typed back. ‘I miss you more, Juan Carlos x’ Maybe it was attachment issues, maybe you were both ridiculously needy or maybe you were just two kids in love. Either way, neither of you were coping well with the sudden distance between you. Ever since you had met Juice seven months ago you had been practically inseperable. It had started with countless nights spent in each others arms and eventually grown into a solid relationship. He had been warned by his brothers not to rush into anything, especially asking you to be his old lady. But when the boys had seen you two together they knew they had nothing to worry about. You were perfect for each other. You were his old lady and he was crazy about you. So crazy, in fact, that the second you had gotten into the cab to head for your business trip he was already sending you messages. But it was only for two more days. Two down, two to go. And you would be home. Juice hadn't been very pleased when you had arrived home from the office and told him about your business trip. Four days in the city. That was all. You could do it. ‘Impossible. Come home baby x’ You slid into the hotel bed and pulled the covers up around your neck as you typed back a message. ‘I wish, Juicy. Not long to go tho babe. I love you’ You curled your body into a ball and pulled the covers over your head. The hotel was nice, the company had really gone all out. But it wasn't home, and seeing the pristine room with the decorative cushions and generic paintings on the walls, and the sounds of the bustling nightlife below was a constant reminder that you weren't in Charming. It had been a big day, your boss had managed to cram eight meetings in and you were drained. You came out of your blanket cocoon only to grab the remote and turn on the television mounted on the wall. But you didn't watch the images flickering on the tv, you buried your head back under the sheets. You fell asleep to the muffled sounds of traffic and a soap opera, oblivious to the text messages from Juice blowing up your phone.

The loud ringing of your phone woke you up and you groaned, your eyes squinting shut as the bright light of the screen in the dark room nearly blinded you. Incoming call from Juice. “You better have a good reason for waking me up, Ortiz.” “Baaaaabyyyyy!!!” You raised an eyebrow and stifled a yawn as you rolled over. The alarm clock on the bedside table read 3.47am. “Are you drunk Juicy?” You grumbled into the phone. “Nope!” “Really?” “I mean I might have had a couple of drinks. Two. Maybe three.” You rolled your eyes but a grin came on your face. You could never stay mad at Juice for long and drunk Juice was always adorable, “Is that why you calling me at 3.47 in the morning?” “I missed you.” He slurred. “I miss you too, Juice.” “Come home.” You laughed and rolled on to your back and stared at the ceiling and the patterns dancing across it from the tv you had failed to turn off. “I’ll be home tomorrow night babe.” “Okay.” Juice said loudly. “Okay?” “I’ll come to you baby I’ll be there soon.” “Juice.” “Please babygirl, I need you.” You sighed and chewed your lip. “I know baby.” You could practically hear him pouting through the phone and it took another half hour before you finally convinced him to get some rest. Eventually he said goodnight and you hung up the phone. It was 4.15am now and you knew you wouldn't be able to get back to sleep, so you threw the covers back and headed for the shower. One more sleep, and you could go back to Charming.

“And so, going off the data we gathered it seems that bringing more business back to Charming could benefit not only us, but the entire state of California.” Your boss nodded approvingly at your words before taking over and addressing the rest of the people in the meeting. You shuffled the papers in front of you when you felt your phone vibrating in your pocket. You ignored it, knowing without checking that it would be Juice. He had already called you twice this morning and you had been forced to put your phone on vibrate so that his calls wouldn't disturb any more meetings. The phone went through to voicemail and you cleared your throat, trying to focus on the words your boss was saying. The vibrating began again and you took a deep breath. Juan fucking Carlos. But a quick glance down to the screen proved you wrong. Chibs’ name appeared at the top of the screen and worry instantly filled your heart. Your boss had finished talking when you stood. “I’m sorry, Ive got to take this.” Your boss nodded and you excused yourself, shooting down your pencil skirt as you left the office. As soon as the door was closed behind you you lifted the phone to your ear. “Chibs? Whats wrong? Is Juice okay? Whats happened? Is he-“ “Calm down, lass.” You took a deep breath. “Is he okay?” “Aye, physically he's fine, love.” You could sense the ‘but’ in his tone of voice. “He needs you back here, (y/n). I’m sorry to call ye like this but you've gotta come home. We cant take anymore of this.” You leant against the wall, a sense of relief rushing through you. So he wasn't hurt. But you knew Juice suffered from severe anxiety attacks and by the way Chibs was speaking you knew things must be bad. “I cant come home yet, Chibby.” “Look, sweetheart. He’s rearranged everything in the clubhouse and I’m worried if he doesn't stop whistling soon Jackie boy might send him unprotected into Mayan territory.” You smirked into the phone. Whistling was a habit anxious Juice had picked up a while back and even though you loved him dearly, his whistling drove you mad. “Keep him safe a little while longer? I’ll leave soon.” “Aye. Hurry, love. I don't think Happys too impressed with his whistling either.” You laughed and thanked the Scot before hanging up the phone. You had just slid it into your pocket when your boss walked out of the office. “Everything okay?” “Not really.” You put your years of drama lessons in high school to work, and within seconds you had fake tears running down your cheeks. “Its my dog, umm..Tiggy. He's sick.”  It wasn't really a lie. Your boss wrapped an arm around your shoulders and squeezed you comfortingly. “I need to get her to the vet.” “Of course, (y/n). Take all the time you need.” “Thank you.” “I hope Tiggy gets better soon.” “Me too.” You wiped the tears away with the back of your hand and turned away, heading for your hotel room. “Me too.” You repeated, smirking to yourself.

The cab pulled up in front of your house and the driver turned to you. You could tell by the expression on his face that he was questioning why a woman dressed all in a business suit would be stopping at a house that was blasting 90’s rap music, but he accepted your payment and helped you get your bags out of the boot. It was mid afternoon and the sun was still beaming down on you as you hauled your bags to the front door. The music was so loud that Juice didn't hear the front door open and you ditched your bags in the living room before kicking off your high heels. You pulled your hair out of the slick bun you had been wearing all day and treaded across the carpet. Following the strong smell of bleach that was drifting through the house you made your way to the bathroom. Juice was shirtless, wearing sweatpants and yellow rubber gloves. The bathroom was spotless and sparkling, and you wondered how many times in the last three days had he cleaned this room. He was scrubbing the tiles in the shower, his back turned and you smiled to yourself as you studied his back muscles tensing as he worked. A bucket of water sat in the centre of the room and you crept inane dipped your hands in the hot water. “What the fuck?” Juice practically yelled as he felt drips of water being flicked onto his bare skin. He turned and when he saw you he nearly kicked the bucket across the room. “Babe!” He wrapped his arms tightly around you, pulling you tight against his body and burying your face in his chest. “Cant. Breathe!” “Sorry.” He smiled at you sheepishly and released his grip on you. “You missed a spot.” You said, pointing to a spot on the wall behind him. “Where?” There was panic in his voice and he turned to the wall with wide eyes. You instantly felt guilty but you tore your shirt from your body, exposing your bra. He turned back to you, his brows furrowed but when he saw your half naked body he licked his lips. “I missed you.” “I missed you, baby.” He whispered, his hands grabbing hold of your hips. “Why don't you show me how much, Juicy?” You reached on your tiptoes and pulled his lips to yours. Juice leant forward, reaching down and lifted you up, your legs wrapping around his waist. He growled and you squealed as he arrived you to the bedroom and threw you onto the bed.

“Please don't leave me again.” You looked up at him, from your spot in the nook of his arm while the two of you were curled up together, naked in the sheets. “i won’t, baby.” He kissed the top of your head and traced patterns on your shoulder with his fingers. “Im not.. good on my own.” You sat up and took hold of his face, forcing him to look at you. “Juan Carlos Ortiz, you ,listen to me. I am here. I will always be here.” “But what if your boss wants to take you on another trip? Or you get sick of me? Or-“ You pressed your lips against his, silencing him. You left them there till you felt him relax and you pulled away. “I’m not going anywhere. And if my boss wants to go away I’ll just tell him that our dog is sick and I cant leave him.” “We don't have a dog.” You smiled. “Not yet.”

On the morning of Sept 14, 2011 my sister woke me up at home asking me where my car was. I went outside to discover my vehicle was gone. So I call the police to come and take a report but of course there wasn't enough officers on duty to send one out so I wake up my brother to get a ride to the station. Keep in mind this is between 2:30-5:00am and the last time I actually saw my car was Sept 13, 2011 at approx 11pm. I arrive at the police station where I make a report, they take down all the info and send me home with the report. Approx 1 hour later they call me and say my vehicle was recovered in a nearby city and they gave me the number to that police station. So I hurry to call them but of course they were closed until 8am. At 8am I call them they said bring my ID and insurance info to recover the vehicle. I go down there and ask questions but they told me they weren't allowed to disclose any information about who, what, were, or when the incident occurred because of confidentiality. They told me I would have to pay the towing and storage fee to recover my car from the impound. So I left and went to the impound paid $218.00 to discover that my vehicle had been totaled. So I had it towed to my house where I called the insurance company to report this. After I reported this incident they took a recorded statement and gave me a claim number. I waited for 2days for my adjuster to call me back and he never did. about 2 weeks later my adjuster calls and leaves me a message saying he needed another recorded statement and to call him back. I call back and got his voice mail. I spoke to one of his colleagues and they said they would send him and his manager a memo to call me back..well that never happened. 1 week after that I get a packet in the mail asking for my cell phone records, keys to the vehicle, and a notarized affidavit. I sent these things back and then a detective from the insurance company calls me and said there were red flags and he needed to get a video recorded statement. I agreed and went to give the statement. A few days later a detective from the police department where my car was recovered from calls me and tells me that my youngest son's father was with some friends at a nightclub were a drive-by shooting occurred and my son's father wasn't shot but the young man he was with was and as a result of them trying to escape the scene my car was crashed. As they arrived to the scene and asked questions about what happened my son's father would not admit he was driving the vehicle, and because they didn't actually see him driving or pull him over they could not prosecute. The detective asked me did I know anything about this incident and I replied hell no! The night of the incident my son's father had came to my house around 3am but never mentioned anything of course because he knows I would have tried to kill him. He also knows I would have been pissed because I never let him drive my car for the 3 years that I have known him, he has never had a license. She ask me was it ok to list him as a suspect and I told her Yes! I let her know that he did not have permission to drive my car under any circumstances. The very next day the detective from the insurance company called me and ask me what was my son's father name and what where the numbers that where called on my cell phone records. He asked why did he call me at 2:54am, I explained he wanted to let me know he was on his way over which wasn't out of the ordinary for him to do. So then the detective tells me my story stinks and I need to withdraw my claim because on my interview I didn't disclose that my boyfriend had come to my house. I told him why did I need to disclose who was sleeping in my bed if it had nothing to do with my car. I mean we know now he had something to do with it but I didn't know then. He told me the police detective also had the keys to my car which was a lie. It clearly states on the impound record that they had no keys. Not to mention the car has broken locks and loose wires I guess he didn't read that part of the report. He also told me I was trying to cover for my son's dad to get the car covered. I told him he could arrest him for GTA for all I care. My car was stolen and no matter who stole it I'm the victim and of course I want my car covered. He then said he was denying the claim and sending the case to the Department of Insurance to see if fraud was committed. Im beyond frustrated because I have nothing to do with what my son's dad did. Should I sue?""
