I posted my first ever Rise fic to AO3.

And I had absolutely NO IDEA that I'd have such an amazing year ahead of me. This series, this fandom, this love – they sweeped me right off my feet and I'm still floating in the cotton candy clouds of all the warmth I've gotten to give and received in turn. I've even made new friends, oh my goodness. I love y'all so much. And I'm infinitely grateful to all of you here, thank you so much for being so kind and loving.

I don't know what the next twelve months will look like but NQK is still ongoing (and it will have its own first anniversary in December!), my love for Rise and all of you guys is still ongoing, and I do hope to get to spend many more lovely moments here, with you. 💜

I thought about doing a redraw to celebrate the occasion but I'm too attached to this original piece and all the feelings I associate with it, so it'll stay as is. <3

I just went with who was nominated! I answered an ask about Moon Knight a little while back but for some reason no one nominated them during the nomination period, but Hulk got at least one nomination!

That post DOES get /srs and /gen correct. The rest are jokes/wrong/not what people mean when using those tone indicators. It DOES however of course highlight one of the biggest issues with tone indicators like that

monty thank you for that I’ve started to become very hateful towards my writing and I’ve started to feel like I’m not good enough. the ask wasn’t meant to come across as mean and I’m actually kinda sad at all the people commenting on it trying to tell you that it was :( I think people could learn to be a little more kind instead of automatically assuming people are trying to spread hate telling me to eat shit just makes me feel worse lol oh well thank you for giving me your time at least <3

I’m so sorry to hear you’ve started to hate your own writing. that often comes with comparing yourself to others, which isn’t helpful or healthy. there is only one you!!! you have your own mind and imagination and there are some stories that only you can tell. it’s ok if you need more practice — even I still do. there is no ceiling when it comes to writing, imo. I believe you can always get better! there are sooo many different things out there to expand and create. I hope you’ll ease up on yourself soon, and let yourself have fun writing.

I’m even more sorry for having misunderstood! I am bad at reading tone, so I do rely on the people around me sometimes to make that distinction, and as such I presumed the same. Hi. Uhh I assume this is the universal general “you” and this isn’t directed at me? Idk. I think there’s a few options with that.

One, some friend groups tend to be in and out of drama a lot and it’s worth it to surround yourself with people who are focused on uplifting others instead of getting into shit. If someone drags you into things you have nothing to do with, if someone makes you choose sides on things you have nothing to do with, then consider your relationship with them. Are they using you as a pawn in petty fights? Do they cause you more stress than happiness? Friendship is a give and take. And if someone is only taking, then talk to them about it. Don’t just cut them off. Try to fix it and take it from there.

Two, there’s a possibility that something you did is attracting it. We all have bad habits and bad traits, and nobody is a saint. But if you can identify which habit is the one that causes issues, you can try to work on it and better yourself. If you keep getting into fights, it’s worth it to learn which hills to die on. Chances are, most hills you come across are not that hill. Block. Scroll. Ignore. Move on. This goes for offline too.
