Some concept art and a cover for my likely not upcoming "hard" sci-fi superhero story called "Whispers in the Stars." The story stars our Superman stand-in "The Juggerknight," aka, Delroy Mathews Jenkins Jr., or just Del for short, and his voyage across space and time as what can best be described as the incarnation of Mars. Unfortunately for him, when he first got his powers, he accidentally fell through the first two stories of his house and killed most of his immediate family on a warm Christmas Eve except for his brother in Nebraska and his remaining granddaughter who was at a sleepover, in essence, he's a living neutron star as while he's only 3ish meters tall, he weighs almost as much as Phobos, when conscious, he's always levitating.
He has all the typical "superman" powers such as super strength, super speed, controlled levitation, complete invincibility, and gamma ray vision (he can practically shoot quasars from his eye and fingers if he wants). There's also some unique abilities such as just not needing to eat or rest (not that he could eat as he no longer has any orifices), the ability to make "shields" of space where the speed of light is zero, the ability to instantly understand alien languages (not their thought processes tho, most of their sentences sound/look like gibberish to him) and that he's rather "slow" compared to most other supermen, as in he can only go upwards of seven times the speed of light (he doesn't move much faster than Mach 10 on inhabited planets and 89 m/s in cities) He can also move through wormholes in this setting, which only light and gravitons should be able to move through (idk about reality, I just want semi-instant communication but no ftl)
Still, it isn't really the powers that make him superman, but his heart, which is very much needed in his dark forest universe (civilizations less than 20 light years apart are generally friends till star pop or heat death). As in, he'd stay with and attempt to comfort somebody attempting suicide, patch up and stay connected with a styrofoamer, rescue some old lady's stupid cat from a tree, swat those sperm-looking military drones from the sky, rescue any and everyone from a building bombed by aforementioned drones, regardless of their affiliations, and then frame and hang a child's shitty artwork of him/themselves as a supe around his house. Heck, the only (cannon) reason his armor is purple and blue is that his granddaughter and one of his remaining army buddies suggested it as opposed to the creepy "natural" white-grey of his suit that gives more "I'm here to sterilize your planet" than "I'm a weirdo given the powers of a god and will use it to make the world a better place bit by bit... then spray graffiti on varying national monuments cause what are you gonna do about it?"
Alright, finally onto the next supe, their name is "Pyninby," and he's essentially some magical girl who's essentially a heavily enhanced Akira or highly nerfed Dr. Manhattan. Much like Del, her powers just suddenly activated, specifically while playing with friends and, well you can imagine what happened to his friends, family, and entire home city. Hell, she was more or less an area of ruined, ever-changing space till he reached twelve in both human and brunniee years. Pyn never goes by it/that pronouns specifically as the varying word and space governments of their people referred to their first "form" as such, they could hear and see everything they were saying yet had no means of communication. Their Madoka-esc outfit specifically comes from the joy and comfort given to them by her girlfriends, his space navy uncle with whom she lives most of the time, and their mentor/adoptive father Delroy. His second form looked closer to the depressive blue glowing demi-god Dr. Manhattan. His favorite foods include basically any type of brunniee cake and sorbert, small vertebrates and bugs she notices when grazing, improvised explosives, and city sweepers such as hydrogen/antimatter bombs.
As for their powers, they pretty can do pretty much anything they can imagine but generally attack using barrages of manifested magic guns, missiles, and particle beams in a similar manner to Mami from Maodka. The ability to reach three times the speed of light and also the capability to move through wormholes.
The Elsen-looking mfs are how background/unnamed humans will be portrayed in the series, important humans look like people.
The regular brunniee is an early concept for Pyn's uncle and is not the final design. He survived her "ascension" to "godhood" by being on tour fighting a war over territorial disputes for the largest of the three brunniee gas giants... He really hates any type of alarm because that generally meant a fusion-propelled missile was speeding toward the space submarine and he'd die at 26. despite their mammalian appearance, they're closer analogs to archosaurs such as birds and non-avian dinosaurs.
I call this hard sci-fi because everything aside from the superheroes would be rather "realistic" such as space crafts not being to exceed the speed of light, their battles being closer to submarine warfare, semi-alien psychology/biology, and the aliens using para terraforming tactics /space mega-structures to colonize their solar systems (they could turn their shitty Venuses and Mars analogs into a silicon copy of their home world, but that'd likely take thousands of years and they live in they tend to live immediate now).
@ki-2-your-heart @toxetta @piko-chan @galaxyalphawolf @laven-dere @eysunemu @awawanyan
... Rather upset Tearykitten deactivated as I didn't have any other means of contact and can't check in anymore
Forearm Shiver, Fake Orchestra, Faithless Purification(megalovania remix), and NEOtech:Online (GenericAntagonist and Underformer remixes respectively) would fit the series like a glass slipper

ID: The sunne transfem flag. It has five stripes: orange, peach, white, blue, indigo. The white stripe is thinner. The outline of a deep orange sun is in the center. The second image is the same, but without the sun. End ID sunne transfem - describes being transfeminine and feeling alienated from the common experience or notion of what it is to be transfem sunne - from old english & old germanic "sun", sunne is feminine. in the west the sun is associated with masculinity, so using an often masculine figure in its feminine form helps to illustrate the conflicting experience i have in being transfem orange - community peach - aligned with being a girl/woman white - unique relationship to transfemininity blue - masculinity/neutrality indigo - non-conformity i made this term to describe my experience, but anyone is welcome to use this or anything else on this post! for me, ive felt a sense of alienation from still enjoying masculinity and masculine presentation, and having a difficult time relating to whats expected to give you euphoria/how youre "meant" to enjoy being a girl. i cant detach this from my experience of transfemininity, and what being a girl feels like for me this encompasses ALL AND ANY reasons one may feel alienated! so its okay if your reason isnt the same as mine. i decided to make a few more flags too :)
ID: The mōna transmasc flag. It has five stripes: grayish blue, light blue, white, pink, magenta. The white stripe is thinner. A deep blue crescent moon is in the center. The second image is the same, but without the moon. End ID mōna transmasc - describes being transmasculine and feeling alienated from the common experience or notion of what it is to be transmasc mōna - old english "moon", mōna is masculine. in the west, the moon is associated with femininity. the contradiction is meant to match with sunne grayish blue - community blue - aligned with being a boy/man white - unique relationship to transmasculinity pink - femininity/neutrality magenta - non-conformity
ID: The eclīpsis nonbinary flag. It has five stripes: Dark brown, gray, white, lavender, indigo. The white stripe is thinner. The outline of a deep orange sun, eclipsed by a blue moon, is in the center. The second image is the same, but without the eclipse. End ID eclīpsis nonbinary - describes being nonbinary and feeling alienated from the common experience or notion of what it is to be nonbinary eclīpsis - latin "eclipse". i picked eclīpsis to match with sunne and mōna, but i also think an eclipse being a combination of two gendered figures is fitting for the idea of going against expectation brown - community gray - aligned with being enby/nonbinary white - unique relationship to being nonbinary lavender - femininity/masculinity indigo - non-conformity

bi lance headcanons
Aladdin and Han Solo were Lance's first male crushes before he realized that's what they were
figures out he's bi when he's around fifteen at the garrison. Hunk was the first person he told, at like 2am when a certain someone with a mullet was intruding on his thoughts
likes to wear a lot of hair ties and homemade bracelets on his wrists so after he comes out, his niece makes him a bi pride one. he never takes it off
has dated a few women but Keith is the first guy he's ever been in a relationship with. it's also Keith's first genuine relationship so they're figuring out a lot of things together
has fun talking about girls with Allura (hc lesbian) and boys with Shiro
probably more into masc enby people but if someone's willing to show him the time of day, he'd be interested regardless
realizes the fun thing about dating guys (Keith) is being manhandled. he really likes being manhandled (tossed onto the bed, being picked up, etc) and it definitely makes sparring (with Keith) interesting. fortunately or unfortunately for him, Keith is very aware of this.
would take it slow in the sexual side of the dating department and Keith (hc demisexual) is very fine with that
at first, he thought Keith wasn't interested in him (which is fine) but then Lance realizes that Keith just didn't know he was bi. so to drive the point home, Lance starts increasing his flirtation with male presenting aliens in front of Keith. it takes a couple days for Keith to figure out why that irks him so much.

While a swarm of bees Cheth would be a grammatically correct they/them and fucking hilarious if you wanna have one around for us enbies you could have Cheth possessing a dead queer person at some point? Non-humans being the only rep of a thing (nonbinary/aro/ace/etc) can be alienating. Doesn’t need to be permanent or anything either, maybe they’re just a former priest that was hanging out near where they’re going or whatever. Cheth being multiple ghosts at once can also serve you for someone to use them but then it’s less clear and more plural so mmm. On that note. Within the comic itself the characters don’t really acknowledge Cheth’s not a he all the time since that’s his default as a god but as he interacts with others more it could easily come up more casually. “Hey Pavel. Where’s Cheth?” “I saw her in the kitchen” “THE COOKIE JAR!” bam you got the genderqueers cackling in delight, we’re not difficult
The last bit is actually a really good point, one that I think I realized at some point, and was like 'oh, I'll be able to remedy this easily later.' Cheth hasn't really had 'she' used in the comic yet simply because FCheth hasn't interacted with any of the other Mantaluna crew (and I don't think she would've actually shown up during the others' individual post-death chats), and Pavel hasn't chatted about the Ch 5 aftermath with Phaedra yet, so there's been no opportunity for others to go 'oh, so Cheth is a pretty lady quite often' and adjust accordingly. So that'll be helpful, probably as early as the next chapter.
Extremely noted on all the rest. I am always here for the 'I am not a girl or a boy, I am a swarm of bees/crabs/stardust' statements but I know they don't apply to everyone. I would want to offer both options.
And with Cheth... that is absolutely possible in every way.

UMMM if this is not an intrusive question, could you pls explain the process of you transitioning? Like whatever made you feel you were with the wrong body? And how did it bother you sm? This is plain curiosity. If u wish pls help me understand.
ahhhh hi hi it's not intrusive at all!
so for me it was really something that took time for me to understand because i didn't know that people were allowed to feel different yk
when i was a child i wore boys clothes because it made me feel happy, during playtime i called dibs on the boy characters, my avatars in video games were exclusively male.
i felt really uncomfortable wearing certain things like skirts and certain shirts and even different types of shoes. my mom said i was really picky and difficult about it lol.
for a while i sort of started wearing skirts and stuff, around 11 to 13 yrs old but, idk it was an odd period for me. i just wanted to be someone my mother liked yk. anyway, for most of my schooling id been in an all girls school up until gr7 when i moved cross country and schools. this new school was co-ed and it was really weird because i felt excluded a lot of the time because i wasn't...yk i didn't act like most of the girls and the people i thought id fit in with didn't like the way i did things LOL. i just felt alienated and like an imposter because i wasn't doing....girl right? iykwim
then i went to highschool a year later and i was shoved back into an all girls class for two years where i realised i properly like girls, except i thought i was homophobic because i didn't like the lesbian label or the bisexual label even though id tried out both at some point. it was like, i know i like girls and i haven't liked a guy properly but that doesn't make me lesbian because...but what if it does because im a girl, right? (spoiler alert, i do like guys and i realised that i could use the label queer without it being a slur also cue asexuality)
anyway, i was introduced to non-binary and it was a reaaaal relief. im telling you, once i was seen as something that wasn't an uncomfortable little girl it was good. but it still didn't feel right so i toyed around with androgyny except i didn't like how uncertain it made me feel yk?
im not saying that people who are enby or androgynous are wholly uncertain but i didn't want to feel like a poseur because i KNEW what i wanted but i didn't know if it was real.
i dont remember when this happened but somebody introduced me to he/they and they/he pronouns and i grasped onto that and it was okay for a while. still didn't feel like i was going it right because i had long hair and wore skirts and was still called a girl or non-binary and i hated my name and everything about the uncertainty yk? like it just came back out of nowhere
then one day this little boy comes up to me, i kid you not it's a CORE MEMORY for me, but this kid approaches me and he's like "are you a boy or a girl" and i start panicking because im not a girl and i hate being a girl and im not a boy because...i mean i don't even look like one right? so i ask him "what do you think i am?" and he says, without even thinking about "you look like a boy. i think you're a boy." and
yk, ive never smiled so wide in my life. i told him "yeah you're right" and he FISTBUMPS ME and im all giddy and excited and i text my best friend @d-rxse and im like OMGOMG YOULL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED DUDE anyway that was three years ago
then i got moved to a co-ed class
it kind of went to shit after that because as soon as i came out as trans i got a new boyfriend and he had never dated a trans person before so for a while he used he/they pronouns for me and we called each other boyfriends up until maybe april of last year where he told me he was uncomfortable with it
so i was an idiot and threw away all my progress and said "you can call me your gf and use they/them pronouns and she/her in front of your friends" and yeah 👍🏼 progress gone. down the drain.
i fixed it tho, by the end of last year i was so done with his bullshit, i broke up with him a week after school started this year, cut my hair short, changed my name, pronouns and got a new phone. cut him out of my life completely. ive never been happier

Carousel Waltz: A Primer
Since I talk incessantly about them and that frequency is only going to increase it's probably for the best that I give a bit of a rundown for my little OC verse!
Carousel Waltz is a psychological thriller young adult magical girl comic in the making. Its primary influences are Revolutionary Girl Utena, Twin Peaks, and Over The Garden Wall.
It's 1993. The town of Potter's Fields, Washington is the last bastion of civilization and has been for the past 25 years, for around the town and as far as anyone can walk in any direction grows a magical apocalyptic wilderness called the Garden of Sorrow, which threatens evermore to encroach upon the town in a war of attrition. With the population of the town dwindling and time standing still in the Garden's embrace, de facto town leader Midas Schiller, with the help of the town's only psychiatrist Thomas Hythloday, have reverse-engineered some of the Garden's very own magic to use against it. Somewhere within the Garden of Sorrow lies the source of its power, the Primordial Heart-- and if mortals can find it and destroy it, they can free the town from its clutches and find out if truthfully there is anyone out there.
Midas cannot use the Garden's magic himself, due to its vendetta against him, so he has scoured the town for proxy agents-- people who can rise to the occasion and fight back against the Garden of Sorrow and the monsters it spawns from its coiling depths. Magic requires harmony and accord to be employed most effectively, and so these magic wielders must fight in pairs. So they have come to be known as Dancers, armed with magical weapons and conditional immortality.
note: When referring to the genre/role as a whole, I use magical girl as conjecture-- referring to these characters as magical boy/enby/man/woman is for on an individual basis. it's just easier than saying "magical mixed gender group of varying ages" and remains true to the genre conventions i'm working under.
Sicely Tecuani - (they/them) The Protagonist. A jaded and socially awkward cowboy, they hide their shyness behind a wall of prickly fatigue. Sicely easily notices the strange and unusual, as well as the faults and foolishness of others. They’re of a practical mindset and enjoy things that work the first time without the bells and whistles. They're dependable and protective, savvy and eloquent, but they're desperate for guidance, yet habitually pushes others away. They're easily impassioned! ... But also easily impassioned into fits of self-loathing. Sicely is transmasculine agender and a closeted lesbian. Their weapon is a pair of bear-paw gauntlets, and their flower is the red spider lily.
Anthea Patel - (she/her) The Other Protagonist. A prodigious young girl, Anthea seems to excel at just about everything she tries her hand at. She's pleasant and romantically-inclined, and sees the world through rosy eyes. She carries a deep well of love and strength within her to meet problems, and she's always trying to cheer others up, but she tends to assume she knows what's best for others while avoiding communicating her own needs-- a girl who thinks she can do everything except admitting she's wrong. And like her namesake, she carries a deep wrath. Anthea is a trans girl and a lesbian. Her weapon is a pair of flintlock dueling pistols, and her flower is the calla lily.
Ariadne "Ari" Astra - (she/her) Ari is a mover and a shaker, and a top-class seer. She wants to know it all, uncover the secrets of the universe, and wield magic to the best of her discretion. She adores unexplained phenomena like cryptids and UFOs. Chipper, observant, and witty, Ari doesn't suffer fools willingly. She is, however, willing to suffer most anything for a mystery. Her infatuation with mathematically proving the afterlife, to reconnect with her dead sister, borders on obsession. She’s deeply lonely, and feels like she lost the only person who could possibly understand her, which has alienated her best friend, Lucerne. Ari is bisexual and would probably ID with the term gendervoid if she knew it. Her weapon is an armillary sphere, and her flower is sunflower.
Lucerne Lowe - (they/he) Lucerne is seemingly difficult to rattle and nonchalant, offering advice where possible and deflecting with a blunt affect away from themself. He enjoys a running commentary, as long as he's not in the middle of things. Lucerne dislikes being the center of attention, and keeps things to themself more often than not. He'd be a great friend to tell your secrets to if you need a listening ear or infodump about that niche interest of yours that no one else has the patience for, but you'd be hard-pressed to get him to tell you something back. Not after what they saw. While the advice they give is usually good, Lucerne is more likely to meddle in your own business than walk the walk. They are unlabeled. His weapon is a polearm, and his flower is rhododendron.
Opal Schiller - (he/him) Rare holographic dipshit. Next.
...
OKAY FINE. Opal is the morally ambiguous pale-haired tragic anime boy archetype. He believes he is being charming and friendly, but in fact his social skills leave something to be desired, often acting on strange impulses or operating on assumptions and rules beyond typical understanding. This makes him presumptuous, pushy, and ill-equipped for when things don't align with expectations. He's very flamboyant and self assured, as long as he feels in control. As soon as his power over a situation is questioned, or he behaves like a dorkass teenager, he immediately begins to flounder, and goes to extreme lengths to regain that sense of security. He’s really, really bad at not getting his way, a problem exacerbated by his father. He is bisexual but enjoys the rewards of heterosexuality too much to consider guys an option. His weapon is a scythe, and his flower is larkspur.
Jiro Kohaku - (he/him) If you asked what Jiro wants in life, he'd shrug his shoulders and say things are pretty good right now. He likes video games and tv and comic books and especially likes hanging out with Opal, because Opal gets to do whatever he wants. Despite his seemingly flippant attitude, he's easily excited and enjoys the spectacle of things, getting caught up in adrenaline rushes. He seems cosmically cursed to be forever in second place, which drives a deep frustration to his core that manifests as him wanting to impress and impose on his peers. Look at him, not Opal, not his older sister, just this once, look at him. Jiro is probably gay but covets girls anyways because of his problems and issues. His flower is nasturtium, and his weapon is a wakizashi.
Who else is there? Oh right, the grownups.
Araceli Levin - (she/her) is a Dancer that has betrayed Midas, gone rogue, and aligned herself with the Garden of Sorrow. She should be considered armed and dangerous. She killed her last dance partner to steal his power, and should not be engaged alone.
...So Midas says.
Araceli is a renegade Dancer. She is dangerous-- she’s had her powers for thirty years longer than anyone in the cast. But she didn’t kill her partner, she isn't aligned with the Garden of Sorrow, and she's not the betrayer here. She's a miserable old wretch of a woman whose social skills have deteriorated from the insanity of grief and the self-exile she's placed on herself. Before she was a Dancer, before the Garden of Sorrow closed off her entire world and Midas ruined what was left of it, she was a marine biologist and a cetacean specialist. Now she has no ocean, no husband, and no way out. Her only friend is a talking Canada Jay named Whiskey. Her weapon is a spear, and her flower is hellebore.
Jorges Beaufoy - (he/him) Araceli's late husband and fellow biologist, and Midas' best friend in life. He died a few years back. The immortality afforded to Dancers does not extend to adults. His hair used to be light blonde before magic turned it pink. His weapon was a sword, and his flower was star of bethlehem.
Thomas Hythloday - (he/him) An anodyne, denial-ridden scientist who works as mission control for the Dancers and is also their only psychological health monitor, which is great except for the part where I mentioned denial up there. He's a bit morally bankrupt, and willing to go too far sometimes, but he very rarely holds any true malice. He's polite in an off-putting way that holds little, if any, kindness to it. Politeness is easier because it's a social script that makes the other person more pliable and agreeable. It's pragmatism. After his twin sister Leda died, he threw his life into his work studying magic full-time to avoid the pain of existing. He was Midas' brother in law, but now they're lovers behind closed doors. Thomas is gay and gnc. He has no weapon, but his flower is hydrangea.
Midas Schiller - (he/him) The de facto leader of Potter's Fields due to a power vacuum and a dwindling population. Opal's father. Midas Schiller is fastidious and charismatic. He’s one of very few adult role models in Potter's Field, and thus a lot of children look to him for guidance. He genuinely believes he is a force for good in the town and is the only thing keeping it from falling to ruin. He’s terrified of what might happen if he’s no longer there to keep things going, and the safety of his flock. Naturally, this means he feels justified to do whatever it takes to his flock, even endangering them, if he thinks it will keep himself in power and therefore ascertain the safety of the whole. Midas believes that he's entitled to the Golden Life that (cis, white) men are supposed to be given and feels cheated that he has not been guaranteed it and thus is taking it into his own hands to build that illusion of comforting paradise. everything in its place. whatever he includes in his sphere must make him happy, must comfort him, must entertain him. anything that does not contribute 2 his identity of Nuclear Family Man Patriarch With A Good Satisfied Life And The Years Ahead Of Him must be trimmed away. He’s obsessed with Thomas Hythloday, due to looking extremely similar to his late wife Leda, and despite being in denial of being attracted to men Midas exploits Thomas’ crush on him and solicits him for sex to keep himself in Thomas’ life. While it wasn't the only reason the relationship deteriorated, Midas attempted to pressure Araceli into having an affair with him. He tried to get her to change careers and stay on dry land. After it was made evident that she could not be controlled, and that he could not guarantee her compliance as a Dancer, he attempted to have her and Jorges killed. Unfortunately, he only got the one, and made a lifelong enemy out of the other. His weapon is fire, and his flower is poppy.

Hoooo boy. I don't think enough people pay attention to this blog to make this work, but @stupid-elf tagged me, so.
Summarize your WIPs badly and let people vote on which sound the most interesting. (Some are originals. Most are not. Secondary game: figure out which are which. Some are obvious. Some are not.)
(PS. Guys this is surprisingly hard.)
Um. Um. Who hasn't done this yet. I only know like five people on this site. Um. @everlicious-enby! I know you haven't! If I have to do it so do you! Have fun!
(Edit: I'm adding @almondboy and @corvidcore-portent.)

the silence in the DW fandom on the question of alien fucking in DW is deafening. I wish to know peoples stances on Real alien fuckers in DW (and how that pertains to the doctor being alien). sure the human girls and boys (and once we finally get them: the enbies) want to fuck X iteration of the doctor, but do they genuinely want to fuck the doctor?
#i think the more trans and intersex the more you'd be like *shrug* statistically#body's a body's a body#doctor who#dw#the master is right to question all the humans -- what do they understand about the inherent sexiness of immortals switching bodies?

So im graduating high school next year, and idk if this is a tradition in other countries as well, but in Hungary in the 12th year the students graduating have this banquett where they perform for the parents and stuff a traditional waltz. Now i go to a very conservative christian school, and one of our teachers clearly stated that "no girls can dance woth other girls, no boys with other boys, no boy can wear a girls dress, and no girl can wear a boys clothes." And if I, an enby who feels disphoric in too fem clothes doesnt want to wear a big wedding dress, i have to just. Not dance. So i said i won't be taking part in the waltz, and that teacher later asked in private why (he was right in thinking that it would have been awkward in front of the whole class) and i just said those big white dresses arent my style. And so he was like sure, but what about like a black dress maybe, something that suits my taste (he knows im kinda emo lmao) and i told him my parents wouldnt let me dance in a non-traditional dress (true, but not my main reason obv). He told me its okay if i change my mind, and he accepted it.
I came home thinking about this whole stuff bc i have days when i dont feel disphoric. I have days when i accept being 'one of the girls' in everyone's eyes. Sometimes i worry that im not actually nonbinary, and im just a girl who wants to feel special... what if im faking this whole trans stuff??
I have a white wedding dress that i thrifted (it was cheap, its pretty, and when i had a boyfriend i hoped i would marry him one day.... i was stupid lol)
I tried on the dress today. I looked in the mirror, and felt like i was a boy being forced to wear a dress. It felt alien on me. Thats just. Not who i am. It kinda make me feel like shit.
I guess i just kinda wanted to vent about this. I might not even be able to say no to the waltz, bc my parents might make me do it anyway. Well whatever.

@the-real-loser-otaku-girl @ki-2-your-heart @a0rt-a @menhera-jellyfish @tearykitten
Sketched us as a magical(?) group... I'd say girls, but three of us aren't chicks. Y'all can probably figure out which one's you. was gonna finish... but what's the point eh. Anyways, I guess the theme is us being a type of horror.
Ki is some type of doll not too dissimilar to Annabel or Chucky, much like the corrupted toys, you'd have some sort of knife of sharped stick hidden away to keep your innocent, cutesy look
Bunny's a more classical slasher, but I gave you a buzzsaw cause everyone "psycho" and their mommy uses a chainsaw. you're minty green cause I like mint green and no reason deeper
I'm a starfish alien like the Mi-go or Singer who'd simply stare indifferently as I put someone in the freezer for my superiors to dissect and study later. nothing to truly note, there's more of my kind coming
Keeping with the Scifi theme, Kurage is a space parasite/parasitoid like The Thing, Xenomorphs, or Bodysnatchers, penetrating the brainstem (and if god's merciful everything else), piloting the host like some fleshy mech. ( I like nihilego and the thing, so I had a bit too much... not "fun" but "enjoyment(?)" when making this)
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the "bride" of Aventurine is some corporeal form of a summoned demon of Abrahamic faith. I'd go on and on about how much of Christianity sounds like String Theory- er- hypothesis, with some angels getting their horrific appearance as they're essentially like a human moving through Flatland... nobody cares, not even me. Body's made of shadows as people expected to see some weird goat-human hybrid thing, but that's too cliché.
Finally, rounding it out with paranormal horror, TearyKitten is a yurei (just a Japanese ghost), like the bitch from The Ring or Teke-teke. Looks like a murder monster at first, just a bit weird and wants a friend.
(After using a minimum of three weeb words, I can feel the whiskers sprouting from my neck as a fedora manifests in my closet, I "know" at least 3 of my neighboring houses have Doritos, I know the flavors, spicy nacho and the horrid cool ranch, unsure of which houses)
Despite the edgy horror shit, we aren't murder hobo anti-heroes, let alone anti/straight-up villains. don't know what powers y'all have aside from not being moved, let alone hurt by most means of airplane bombardment. give yourselves whatever the hell you want, it's not real and we're on tumblr, so by default, "cringe" to some extent.

Well lads it’s “Be Sad About My Gender” time again
#being nonbinary? 0/10 do not recommend#I promise you#everything is unnecessarily gendered in your disfavor#people will try to be like 'so are you Boy Lite or Girl Lite?'#or they act like it's just some Spicy Third Gender#not to mention the fact that it IS so nebulous and unique is super isolating in itself#you'd think I'd get along with most other nonbinary people right?#well actually no#what do girls have in common with girls? apparently much!#but what do *I* have in common with a demigirl or a bigender or genderqueer person? nil#when I say 'get along' I don't mean I fight them lmao sorry that was phrased weird#I mean that their experiences do not match up with mine#they can't recount their lives and have me be like 'oh wow same!' it almost never happens#like 90% of Relatable Enby Posts don't apply to me and it's so frustrating and isolating#THAT AND all our media representation? is trash#okay not really but I have yet to see anyone who I feel like 'wow that's me!'#like yes I stan any nonbinary character I can find but I don't mesh with them just due to that#like 90% of them are AFAB and woman-passing and use she/her pronouns and MAYBE they/them on occasion#like it's bad when we finally get human characters so in theory I could stop relating to robots and aliens#but the human characters aren't... all that good so I continue to relate solely to robots and aliens#alas#anyway thanks for coming to my Tag Rant!#it's been a while since I've had a good one of these

y’know being trans/nonbinary specifically is a much bigger part of me then my attraction is
#like if I were to visualize how important my identities are it'd be like. nonbinary ======> quoiroace ===> bi#and I very much hold All of those at high importance#like I'm always happy to see wlw/mlm stuff in media (most of the time they're monosexual because people get mad at mspecs for existing but)#but whenever a character is confirmed or shown to be trans in anyways I get WAY over excited#especially with nonbinary rep#someone offhandedly refers to someone with they/them pronouns and I start flapping my hand and kicking a ton that iT SCARES PEOPLE#like reading hs^2 and seeing calliope being referred to with they/them I was!!!!!!!!!!! so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!#but anyways it just. was a big thing for me realizing I was nonbinary#and it was also one of the first ways I was introduced into lgbtqia+ content too because of seeing crona be canon nonbinary#and I was just 'wait that's a thing'#realizing I didn't have to be a boy or girl probably saved me in the long run#and I'm Really Tired of enby genders just being pushed to the backseat constantly#I'm tired of All my identities being pushed to the backseat constantly because They Are A Lot but nonbinary especially#lgbtqa+ things#alien yells
