ever since wednesday addams made an appearance to the school, xavier acted strange. you for sure noticed that he has been hanging out more at the shed rather than with you, was it because of her? you were never the type to be jealous but ever since that girl enrolled this semester you couldn't shake off the feeling of how she unconsciously has a choke hold on your boyfriend.

it's been a couple days since you've visited the shed, there he was working away on a piece of art, hair tied up in a bun, eyebrows knitted together in a frown. he usually enjoys art, this was the first time you've seen him troubled. there was a unique pattern in the shed, supposedly. it appears that he has painted, sketched and created the same creature in different angles. you were beginning to think there's more to the story than wednesday herself. xavier wasn't the type to communicate unless asked to, so you did.

"what are you doing here?" his frown deepened, you hum, folding your arms. "you tell me, mr. thorpe. you haven't answered my calls, texted or even waited for me at the quad so i can walk you here." you told him, the tension rising as he puts his brush down. once he fully turns toward you, the cheep light bulb of the shed illuminates 3 small scars on his neck. you frowned, taking a step forward as you grab his chin to face another way to make the scar more exposed and visible to you. your hand falls to the side, "care to explain?" you ask him, raising an eyebrow. "look y/n, it's no big deal-"

you didn't listen to him at this point, no big deal? he wasn't even spending so much time with you, he was always chasing that interesting new student and now when you try and make things a little more clearer you find scratches on his neck. what part of a no big deal was that.

"xavier. you have been following that pigtailed magnet for trouble, i went here to talk to you about it, and see you've painted the same monster in about 13 artworks, and a scar on your fucking neck. please be honest with me and do not say that it's not a big deal. it is when you ignore your partner and run off in your tiny little shed rather than express your feelings towards me lately- hell you didn't even bother to let me walk you here." you ramble, silencing him in a heartbeat. frustration was evident in your face and xavier looks like he won't back down so fast.

"y/n, i already told you it's not serious. i'm fine. really. just-"

you scoff, the shed shivering and the groand grumbling, a sign of your anger. but you decided that there was a better time to destroy his shed, just not now. you took a deep breath and the rumbling stopped, "you wanna play this game xav? i'll beat you fucking to it." you mutter leaving the shed, slamming the wooden gate behind you, the temptation to let the earth swallow him for you was insane.

for the past few days not only you were avoiding him but also ignoring xavier's texts and calls, like what he was doing to you in the past days before. xavier huffs in frustration as he redialed your phone number for about 30 times now, he wanted to make things right, he misses you. he for sure didn't want to break your relationship just because of a stupid monster haunting his dreams. at the 34th time, you answered. he got up from his bed, "y/n? please let's talk." he mutters to the phone, knowing just how to make you surrender.

"where baby?" you answer, xavier would like to thank the heavens for your voice, he was so glad to hear you, with a sigh of relief he told you to meet him at his dorm.

once you arrived at his dorm, you knocked once and he already opens it. "y/n, i'm so so so so sorry about everything. lots of shit has been happening ever since wednesday arrived and i-i dont want that to ruin what we have." he tells you, his tone so desperate you'd think that your relationship was on thin ice and he was coming to rescue it. you wrap your arms around his shoulder and embraced him, inhaling his scent and hearing him breathe. you wouldn't admit it but you missed him too.

you pull away and you both sat down on his bed, he talks about everything. how wednesday shows up everywhere and how she was suspicious that he might be the creature rather, the- hyde. you listened to him, as the way he talks just makes you feel relieved. his eyes were darting every single corner in the room out of anxiety, so you placed a hand on his, rubbing the back of his palm with your thumb. once he finished, you smile at him. "see? it wasn't that hard was it?" you told him, caressing his cheek with your other hand. you lay down on his bed and he falls next to you, head burying into your shoulder and chest, his arms sneaking their way around your waist, "i missed you so much, i love you." xavier mumbled, you sigh in content, placing a peck on his head, "i love you too." you whisper as he cranes his neck backward to take a look at you, then your lips finally meet his, a warmth made its way in your body, feeling the most satisfactory relieg in human history.

imagine he decides to try to sleep, or try to the closest he can get to it.. and just, hes so unused to it that it stresses him out. now sure, this isnt a "hes had a bad dream" buuuuut... okay i just wanted to write for caine... or imagine he does manage to fall 'asleep', in order to have something else to relate to you with, but his first 'dream' is something... not good

i think, while he would be a little unnerved he wouldnt be TERRIFIED... though i do think he would play up how distressed he actually is in order to get some extra special attention from you. i dont think he would try sleeping again, though... might still lay down next to you and pretend, though! oh please please rub his back and pepper him in kisses! thats the only way to console him! (winks)

JAX:

i think he would try to brush it off and deny any comfort you try sending his way. i commonly write jax to reject comfort and affection, and generally try to deny any perceived weakness in hopes that hes not... well seen as weak... you know? thats his whole coping mechanism in the circus, asides of course being a menace to everyone else. though... i dont think he would push you away if you tried to smooth out his fur, maybe even kiss his head... just dont say a word about this to anyone else..! i dont think he would go back to sleep, unless he felt truly exhausted

KINGER:

oh hes going to freak out, especially if the dream is about you abstracting or about his late wife... (does she count as late if shes abstracted...?), actually him suddenly yelping out and shooting to scramble around for you is going to wake you up. definitely not going to be going back to sleep anytime soon. please help him get his breathing under control, and reassure him that you're still here. i would say hold him, but i dont think that would be the best thing to do, at least not until hes composed himself enough to gives you the go ahead. good thing is, in the digital world you guys dont NEED to sleep... i say this because i can easily see kinger not going to sleep for a while after this (he just like me frfr). recommend taking him out to the grounds and having a nightly stroll so he can have 'fresh air'

i dont think she would wake you up, actually i dont think she would cling or cuddle onto you out of fear that she would wake you up... i mean she knows she shouldnt feel bad, but she would rather abstract than risk bothering you. probably cries, and that might be what wakes you up. turn on the light and sit up with her. it might take some coaxing, but let her know youre not mad about being woken up (and perhaps even state that she has permission to wake you up whenever and that shes not going to bother you and youre not going to be angry with her). you guys probably talk until morning, starting with the contents of the dream before spiraling into something totally unrelated

Yes, another random too late at night on our boy sammy! - he just wont leave me alone!... :)

Thing that strikes me about spn and the dynamics bw sam n dean is the power imbalance - and theres multiple kinds at play and im sure ill screw it up in laying out all the layers i see in my head out here but here goes:

Theres initially the little bro v big bro power imbalance - in favour of dean - but theres also the perceived (by dean) power imbalance in favour of sam as he thinks dad only cares about sams safety and + his own love for sam makes him think sams got him wrapped around his finger - thing is, the fact that deans willing to do anything for sam is not necessarily sams doing but it scares dean that sam has that effect on him.....never understanding that he has the same hold on sam.

Then, as they get older, deans faster,stronger,better at hunting,fighting and gets all the parise from dad as a result while sam is the "runt" - scrawny & reluctant (and probably part of his reluctance to join hunting family business is that teenage-attitude of "ah well, im never gonna be better than dean or dad, why bother?") So he doesnt try harder than he has to, to get by ....so the physical power balance for a long time is also with dean growing up...and it suits dean just fine - after all, who doesnt like being "adored big brother" ?...but also given deans fear of sams emotional power over him, & sams intellectual prowess that dean already starts to see in him, dean revels in his physical skills and it makes him feel indulgent and sorta ok with caring for and about his sammy and in his mind balances the scales that sams adoration of him for his skills n physical powers somehow negates the emotional hold of sam on him...& so the scales remain balanced sorta...

A bit older again and sam starts to physically shoot up and he seems to pick things up quicker, is braver than dean at standing up for himself (&im sure on behalf of dean too, sometimes) more n more with dad and theres that damn intellect and that emotional hold on dean already...the scales far as dean can see is tipping slowly away from him....and then sam is (whether due to weecest/wincest feelings developing or just normal teenage angst doesnt matter here) pulling away in teenage fashion: more n more away from dean too so now dean feels like hes left feeling the brunt of that emotional pull more n more (again because theres wincest elements on deans part or not is irrelevant here - its just the emotional gap created when the person you're so closely attached to since childhood pulls away - but this is probably felt even more intensely by dean coz of the hunting lifestyle n lack of other human connections) - leaving dean feeling vulnerable af - which hed hate....and resent sam for .... & would see it as sam holding all the power - even if it may not objectively be true or even something sam is aware of....remember, he's just a kid - drawing boundaries n learning about himself as he grows....

Stanford being the 1st big decision sam makes on his own, asserting his independence - is a blow to dean -to him, thats sam exercising that power of his and being selfish and uncaring of impact on dean - after all, dean had to give up his life,his dreams for sam n his dad - why isnt sam doing the same?... and all the resentments at not just him being the only one to make sacrifices in the family but also of this growing power imbalance towards sam kicks in....and he hates it - he hates that sam doesnt need him anymore, is off making his own decisions, hes likely to be off creating and living his own life pretty soon - & wheres dean then?

As s1,s2 progresses, we see more n more sam being pushed into giving up his power, his independence more n more in favour of dean - not just by circumstances and hell/heaven conspiracy but also emotionally/mentally by people he loves the most - dad, bobby, dean...because the choice for him is "its either our love and acceptance or your own power" & ofc he chooses "family" & " love & acceptance" - cloaked in shame,guilt and humiliation.... theres no thought given by his "loved ones" to " how could we help understand sam's powers and help him manage it", train it or anything remotely positive - its instantly :sam has powers = sam is bad - why? - because he's now 6'4, strong physically,mentally and his only vulnerability is his love for his family: dean mostly at that stage... & they even mention munchausens syndrome by proxy in one of the episode - coz thats basically whats being done to him - hes being made to believe that his powers are inherently evil and therefore he's sick and he "needs" dean to deal with it...and terrified & in absence of any support,ofc he does, he does need dean to deal with it/with himself - slowly eroding his trust in himself... not blaming dean here - as to him its his own "life or death" + identity crisis situation - if hes not looking after sammy, who is he, what does he do with his life? (that "african root-induced dream walker in bobbys/deans head" episode makes it pretty explicit)...

S3/4 - hes had a bit of time on his own & hes found a "teacher" - ruby....thing is, he wouldnt have been that vulnerable to ruby to begin with, if hed received even a tiny bit of guidance n care n understanding of how to manage/control his powers ... so ofc, at his lowest he succumbs to anyone offerring him any kind of guidance or control over himself, coz hes already been conditioned to not trust himself - and why shouldnt he take it from a demon - isnt he already been called evil freak by his own? ...he might as well ...

To dean on his return this is worst case: sammy having his own power and his powers....again wincesty lens might add other layers but for this essay(sorry)!: 1xof the factors influencing deans reactions have to be also the power imbalance tipping towards sam again( he even says in one episide all huffy "well you dont need me, you & ruby can hunt demons on your own" whil packing his duffel) - yes theres jealousy n care that his bro is being manipulated by a demon and his own hell trauma etc,etc....but - lets not forget that hes also feeling that sense of loss of control n power over sam specifically...and so ruby is not the only one manipulating sam in this season...and love is not an excuse for manipulation....and dean is not immune to using it to get what he wants - ie sam (wincest or not doesnt matter here either - outcome is still the same that dean wants).

From s4 to almost upto s10 its a steady degradation of sam and loss of him owning his own power,his body,his self,his personhood.... and each time he tries to reclaim it, hes emotiinally beaten up into giving it up again - so that he can be loved - he is pretty much a "batterred wife" at that point, having given up his power to dean (&lucifer&gadreel via dean &...) - until he starts to fully reclaim again s11 onwards - but in a way thats much more "acceptable" to dean.... hearing words he says to charlie or to mary or to sully about how hes accepted that this is his life now and he loves it - this is somehow supposed to show sams "maturity" in acceptance of his respinsibilities in hunting n saving people etc ... but to me, its not really if you've been watching - its him being a "batterred wife", trading his power for love n acceptance... because he knows that dean will never fully accept sam in his full power....he cant as hes too scared of what he doesnt understand (incl himself). Again wincest lens would amp all of this to intensityx10...

It is these experiences that he then uses to help guide and care for young kids that cross his path showing abilities - incl jack.

If theres ever a reboot i hope its this - i hope its with a sam that starts to see visions n telekinesis etc and he gets support n kindness and understanding & faith in him - while he figures out his training himself - itd be amazing if its dean who "comes around" - hell id even settle for a dean that "comes around" in midst of "when levee breaks" and they run off and hole up somewhere n get sam his rest n care from dean and then training for him.....n they stop the apocalypse together but with sam having his full powers n dean proudly supporting him and himself being powerful in his own right... so that i can believe that its possible to be powerful n strong in your own right and still be loving and kind and caring and loved n accepted in return...

Random story idea i had a dream about and might write as a small project

I cant fully remember all that happens in my dreams so i generally dont write this stuff down cause they are too cut up for me ro remember why it was so interesting. This time tho it just seems like a great writing prompt that i might have fun with.

I remember a betelgeuse esc character as the "antagonist". More just a demon having fun doing his job. I also remember the first setting he starts the characters off in as this old pub in looking place kinda. Very brown and about 3 longish tables some cupboards and this big *seaches a pic*

This sort of thing but it also looks like it vould be some sort of window if it were outside. It had doors instead of the clock aswell and he would come out from within it. There was also a clock within the doors i think or something of the sort. From there things get super distorted as they go through sometimes dangerous and generally time bending trials till they finally get back to the same room. When they get back there is food on the tables, but one strict rule he placed at the beginning was to not eat unless it was explicitly given. He never tells what the consequences would be for this. After a second he comes back gives each a specific food that personifies each of them and how they went through the trials and one stands out for some reason i dont remember. He possesses this character and makes them go through a few more little things to get her back and eventually they leave. This happens annually for the next 3 years. The third year things go beyond his control. Before there had generally been a safety net. He never wanted to truly hurt this family and grew to like them. A bit too much for his bosses liking. His boss basically sets a ton of dangerous eel like huge flying creatures on them and he has to try his best to keep them from dying without making it too obvious. His boss gets mad when he succeeds and he gives a last farwell to the family as he lets them leave. The family doesnt realize hes gone for good and when the same time next year comes around they are confused to where their demon antagonist is. They had always seen him as an annoying villain not realizing the safety net that he had put up for them and were only slightly bothered to not have their yearly ritual as they couldn't help but admit it was quite fun family bonding. All exept for the one girl who had gotten that different dish. She had grown to be just as fond of the demon as he had of them and was very concerned that he didnt show. She always knew about his saftey nets and even sometimes had some fun playing around with his games. She manages to get her family to at least try and figure out why he was missing but in the end her and her father only get far enough to finding the place he generally takes them empty and abandoned. All but one lone peice of food (probably an apple). Her dad leaves but she stays and eventually seems to almost get pulled in by this apple. She goes to take a bite but the demon restraints her and gets pretty pissed off. His boss then shows up and decideds since he decided not to do his job this year that she would do it for him. They get thrown into an extremely dangerous game where they are both basically just yelling at eachother the entire time for being stupid. In the end they both almost die while trying to save eachother till the boss just gets fed up with them both. The boss seemingly manages to kill the girl but in reality just separated her from the demon and he no happy. She continues to put the girl through trials as he is basically acting like a toddler in a rage room. She begins to realize that he took a liking to this girl because of how she is able to see through his tricks and eventually trick him. The boss then gives her the apple and says that if she'd like her family tradition to continue she could eat the apple, but if she does then she becomes a demon aswell and must take part in the demons trickery and illusions on the same day every year and any other times they are scheduled. She then gets the info that the reason he was in trouble was because he kept grabbing the same family over and over without killing or tricking a single one into eating an ungifted food and becoming a demon. She eats the apple the boss reveals to her demom that she is still alive and he is pretty livid about all of this. In the end shes allowed to go back home to her old life, well at least her family since she opts to stay with the demon cause no rent or taxes, as long as she never tells her family about any of this. Wouldnt be fun if she did 😈

Idk why this kinda turned into a love story but yeah everything after the first 3 years was come up with after the dream and while typing this so thats kinda on me and im a bit mad at myself for it. Rn tho you can interpret their relationship however youd like. Thats all i have for now and i dont actually know if imma do anything with it just thought id share it here for organizational purposes

hello, sorry if this is hard to read i am having some trouble at the moment but i had a question and your blog has been very helpful to me in the past so i figured i would try?

im almost definitely schizophrenic (as in my doctor's have said this and just want to do some extra clarifying testing this week before providing the diagnosis. either way it is guaranteed i have a psychotic condition) and have been experiencing a ramp up in symptoms laately, many of which i am only barely able to convince myself are not real, because of my treatment and previous severe episode. the issue is that ive just woken up and i had a dream that was terribly related to what i have been experiencing in the day, and its throwing me off, because i dont know if thats possible in schizophrenia which makes it hard to rationalize that it isnt real.

i wont go into it extensively because it could cause issues for people (content warning for some mentions of unreality here to clarify what happened, its only this paragraph!) but i have been experiencing voices belonging to tvs in my head, and a lot of existential worry on if anything is real, if im awake, etc. last night i had a dream with the same tv voices as a major theme, and at the end of my dream a character acknowledged i was dreaming, and i had a false awakening too. this has all thrown me for a loop because since i dont know if the disorder can impact dreams, it makes everything hold so much more weight, and it is very distressing???

i am mostly just wondering if its possible for the disorder to impact dreams or cause you to have dreams related to hallucinations and delusions. i think i had some stuff similar to this last year in my last active episode, but its incredibly hard to remember.

im sorry for bothering and i hope this ask doesnt cause you any issues, i would just really like to know if it is possible for the disorder to show up in dreams like this. thank you for your blog and i hope youre having a very good day, your work is so appreciated and has brought me immense comfort while im being diagnosed

I think a psychotic episode can definitely impact your dreams. For most people (nonpsychotics included) dreams can feel weird, can be separate from reality, and can have you questioning things when you're finally awake. So it makes sense to me that someone who is already struggling with reality in their waking life would be even more impacted by these types of dreams.

Also for me when I was deep in my psychosis before treatment, everything in reality, and in my psychosis was always connected in strange ways. I'd find meaning in every little thing and connect it to a bigger picture that only existed inside my mind. And dreams played into this as well. Only after years of medication and therapy, I can see that things just sort of happen, and coincidences happen, and not everything is part of this bigger picture that revolves around me. I don't expect everyone to come to this conclusion on their own or even ever, but for me some very helpful mantras have been "shit happens", "it's not that deep" and "this is just the chemicals in my brain firing off, it means nothing".

Also if a dream, or the aftermath of a dream is distressing, it's totally valid to care for yourself after as if something distressing in your waking life happened. Practice your coping skills, do things that bring you comfort, rest and take care of yourself. Dreams being distressing is no joke.

I saw @fereldanwench do this and wanted to fill it out for fun! 1. Are you named after anyone?  My mom named me after a baby she used to babysit; my name is not Cas of course, its a pseudonym I use for social media.

2. When was the last time you cried? Like full-blown unhappy tears? Uh, last week. My one family dog passed.

3. Do you have kids? No, and I don’t want any, but as I’m getting older, I’m considering it.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?  So much. I use text tone notes though if I’m writing, or say I’m being sarcastic to people like my mom who doesnt get it lol.

5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?  Usually physical traits, like colored hair, eyes, and brows. I’m very hyperaware so I’ll notice the way they sit or if they feel left out in a conversation. I feel like I’m very aware of people’s moods as I can usually spot if people are less happy than usual or something is bothering them.

6. What’s your eye colour?  Green.

7. Scary movies or happy endings?  I really enjoy happy endings! I like scary movies but not gore fests. Psychological thrillers screw with me too much anxiety wise. But slashers are fun and so are paranormal films. My favorite horror film is the 2006 Silent Hill or They/Them. 

8. Any special talents? I can do that one yoga pose where you throw your legs over your shoulders and balance on your hands and have been able to do it since I was 5. I’m also double jointed in most of my body, most notably my hands.

10. What are your hobbies?  Projecting onto fictional characters, liking morally gray or bad fictional men, being a raging bisexual. I write fanfic and play the same twenty games.

I was never much of a sports person. I like watching hockey occasionally during the play offs mostly but other than that, never played anything outside of gym. I did do color guard and dance for several years though.

dreams are something your subconscious tries to tell you

it was basically a time loop where i try to figure out how this guy kept getting murdered at a massive house party but it’s not the girlfriend, best friend (who i was playing as), or even the loner trying to get with the gf. he’s just dead every single time. probably getting murked by several people; i’m pretty sure i killed him once on accident and didnt even bother hiding the body, since it was a party and people would think he was just black out drunk. tried to hide his body on the roof later on though, which just made him get spotted quicker lol.

the party was in the mountains but we were apparently right next to both the ocean and farmland, because at one point the girlfriend sprouted a wing sephiroth style and flew away out to sea. i got the impression she gave up on trying to find out how her bf died in several timelines and didn’t want to get fingered as the culprit in lieu of even any circumstantial evidence, so she sacrificed her ability to swim or land in exchange for flight and left.

i think loner guy got abducted by cannibals in the last one, because it became like texas chainsaw massacre AND the hills have eyes in that there’s a massive inbred family network out there in them there hills that just take people if they want more kids, food, or hunting for sport. There was also a cameo of michael myers because he was apparently just slaughtering them en masse and them trying to put him down but he just did not notice it at all. purely coincidental on his part that he was taking down whole cells.

had a dream i was a dude and i got dressed in pumps and a playboy bunny outfit except the bottom wasn’t a leotard it was a microskirt, so technically i’m flashing cheek with each step.

apparently i did this as a reward or something for my dream state boyfriend, like, straight up in public i am wearing this for him. because of the whole flashing thing being, you know, a thing with this outfit, i decide to squat instead of take a seat, which is something else i feel dream bf would appreciate.

he does not lol.

rather than have sex in ‘real life’ he wants to have sex in minecraft, something i do not have, with mods i also do not have. the force of my disappointment turns me into a lady again.

seeing as i’m lucid dreaming and it isn’t going anywhere fun, i decide to launch off the cliff that’s usually at the back of buildings in my dreams and just start hang gliding or w/e only to get waylaid by the fucking party going on out on the courts. i’m still in the bunnygirl outfit.

i woke up mildly aggravated that i read my dream bf so wrong, which is funny because in actual real life i had never and will never actually date this guy. this is what happens when you see a sick af cosplay and find an anime character with the same specific name the same day lmao

Dream was keeping a close eye on you playing out in the fields while he sharpened his axe in the cool shadow of a blooming willow tree.

He barely catches a glimpse of you stumbling over your own feet, but as he'd learned, you rarely cried over things like that. But what he heard next, wasnt something he expected.

His head snaps up in full attention when he hears the word leave your mouth, "Fuck!" you had schreeched as you scraped your knees on the muddy ground.

He immediately discarded his axe on the ground, and walked over to you, still in pure and utter shock.

"Little flower, where did you learn that word?" he kneeled beside you, trying his best to contain his inner disappointment and anger torwards whoever taught his child swear words.

You had looked up at him, slightly confused at his sudden interest before you answered his still waiting question "Uncle Bad said it when he hurt his hand on the stove, last weekend when he was watching me"

Dream had blinked at you for a few seconds in utter disbelief, he was about to call you out on lying. Before he remembered that you didnt know any better than to always tell the truth.

After a small discussion where he explained why you couldnt use that word, he left you to Sapnap and George, and headed torwards Bad's house where they would soon have a long talk.

Sapnap

You would be with him, while he is trading in the nether. You usually tend to stick close to him as to not anger the piglins, or get lost.

However, this time while he was trading with you behind him, clinging to his pant leg. A piglin approached you, and as you did not like the intimidating look it was giving you, you hissed at the piglin "Fuck off!"

Sapnap choked on nothing, and immediately slapped a hand over your tiny mouth "hey buddy, don't say that word!.." he chuckled nervously as the piglins eyed him disapprovingly.

After you two got back into the overworld, he lifted you onto his shoulders "where did you learn that word" he had asked you, and you answered with a simple shrug "i heard grandpa say it while i was over at his and skeppy's house"

Sapnap had bursted into laughter the moment he heard this, "thats pretty funny, but don't say that word anymore. People are gonna think i taught you that" he gave an over exaggerated sob for dramatic effect, as you giggled.

He had been working at the prison nonstop for weeks on end, and as much as he hated to not be able to spend time with you, there was not much he could do.

The biggest suprise was when he was sitting at the front desk, when he heard familiar yelling and pounding on the prison gates. At first he was cautious, but once the next words left your mouth "open the motherfucking door, Awesamdad!" his gaze darkened as he opened the gates, pondering who taught his young child such foul language.

Awesamdude wasnt usually one to care about swearing, but when the case was about his own child thats a no no.

He let you into the prison arms crossed, staring you down as you had no idea how much trouble you were in. "why do you come into my work screaming those bad words at the gates?" he stared you down.

"bad words?" you expressed your confusion "it cant be a bad word, cause uncle Bad said it, and he doesnt use bad language" you crossed your arms proudly over your chest, mimicking your father.

He chuckled quietly "i see.. Well uncle Bad is gonna get a long talk after im done with work"

He had not planned on adopting anymore children after Tommy (and technically Tubbo), but here he was, in the middle of the tundra, a wanted war criminal, with a child.

He was confident that no bad influences would come to you after the fall of l'manburg, since the only people you two lived with were Techno and Ranboo. And occasionally Niki would show up as well.

So he was in utter and pure shock and disbelief when he heard you shout "fuck!" at the top of your lungs, after falling over while Techno was teaching you how to spar.

Techno immediately dismissed Phil's suspicion torwards him, saying he wouldn't swear in the presence of the child in question. Phil had questioned you in a serious matter, asking who taught you that word, he had his suspicions but he was definitely caught off guard as you mentioned Bad's name.

He had already tried to keep you away from the demon, because of all the mans weird connections with the egg cult and other weird shit. And he didn't even know you had met Bad. He just dismissed it and told you to not talk to that man again, which you happily obliged.

Schlat wasn't necessarily like other parents, he wasnt the best parent either. So it wouldn't be surprising if you had learned most of your bad influences from him. But besides all those odds, your first curse word wasnt from him.

He already had alot of issues, he wasnt at all fit to lead a country, and his alcohol problems had a vice-like grip on his life. So when he heard you cursing under your breath as you scribbled on paper in his office one day, he simply lifted his brow.

"where'd you learn that, Pumpkin?" he hummed, dismissing his more important paperwork aside.

As stated before, he wasnt necessarily a good parent, he was just simply intrigued on how you knew that language at your age. And more interested in who taught you that, since you weren't allowed to leave the white house without him or Quackity.

And if it turned out to be Quackity who taught you that (which wouldn't be that surprising), he swears he'd had that fuckers head.

He may not have paid alot of attention to you growing up, but he did care about you. Even if he didn't show it. So it wasn't a joke when he said he'd have the person's head who taught his kid swear words.

You had simply turned to him "that scary guy with the horns and white eyes said it while i was on a walk with Mr. Quackity" you hummed, then immediately turning back into your drawings.

Schlatt blinked at you in disbelief, before bursting into laughter "oh that demon fucker?! He bothers everyone else on their language and then swears infront of a child?" he took a deep inhale to calm his laughter, before his eyes turned dark "the nerve.."

The head of the house Ragnvindr, the Darkside of Dawn, the owner of the renowned Dawn Winery- Many names,.. But for you? He was only your precious father.

He wasnt really good with children to start with, so he started researching all the little details he can possibly discover. If he’s not  satisfied with that, he’d actually ask someone. 

He wants to be the best father for his child, he also doesnt want you to grow with terrible stuff. With every little or big way,he’ll make sure you’ll live your life the fullest while he guides you.

Diluc is described as “aloof, bitter, and distant.”. However, his demeanor changes in front of his child. He’s still indifferent but the thing is- he is wholeheartedly attentive. 

Diluc is also a bit too overprotective. Well, how can he not? He lost his father in a brutal way. The redhead man is basically terrifed of losing another family, let alone his own child. Danger also lurks around uninvited, with your small build- It’s natural for him to put extra caution.

Overprotectiveness aside, he’s not very good in affection. He’s not like the type of father who showers his little one with constant praises and peppers their faces with soft kisses. 

The redhead man is more on the discreet way of showing his adoration. He spoils you a lot too. He has the money, so why not? (But not too much to the point you end up growing bad attitudes.) All your necessities are always laid out and he buys stuff he knows you’ll definitely adore. You want something like that adorable plushie displayed in the shelf of that store? Two seconds later you’re already holding it. Oh, you like that beverage? Consider it your everyday drink. You want to see the stars at night? He’s already making arrangements to have your own planetarium constructed! 

Well, if he’s not spoiling you with inanimate things. He’ll sneak in a few headpats, maybe some careful pecks in the forehead. He’ll also let you sit on his lap and play with your toy as he works on his papers. Diluc wont admit it but, he definitely enjoys having you accompany him while he's working. It makes him feel less tired.

About his work, ever since you came- He made sure he still has time to hang out with you. After all, children grow so fast, why would he want to miss our most adorable days? And if it does come to a point where he really needs to pay extra attention to work- He’ll leave you to Elzer and Adelinde, maybe even Kaeya too. The Chivalry captain is still, after all- One of the few people he trusts you with.

Diluc is also most likely the type who’ll surely carry his child around when he goes on long travels with them. Kaeya will probably make fun of him, but is he ashamed? No, he’ll even feel secretly proud he carries them around.

When it comes to overall raising you to be good, he’s got his ways. One of it is being very strict. Bedtime is bedtime. No more dilly dallying around, off to bed. If you cant sleep, he’ll prepare some warm milk and stroke your heads until you are off to the paradise of dreams. (Oh, maybe he’ll even hum a soft lullaby, who knows-)

He's also a very supportive one, if you want to be an artist- That's fine! Diluc will start buying you paints, papers, pencils and all. Oh, maybe you want to learn how to fight? He'll be a bit hesitant since he doesnt want you to get hurt, but nonetheless, he'll personally teach you how.

 “Uncle Kaeya is here! Daddy! Daddy lookie! It’s uncle Kaeya!” You cheer happily as you start swaying around in the man’s arms. “Uncle! Uncle!”

“Stop moving around, you might fall” Diluc sighs as he watched the chivalry captain wave and walk over. 

“My little niece/nephew sure has sharp eyes” The cryo user softly smiles as he watches the child sling onto their father happily “How have you been lately? You’re getting a lot of sleep right?”

“Mhm! Daddy lets me sleep on his bed when bad dreams come and bother me! He makes them go bye-bye!” You giggle lightly as you snuggled on the crevice of Diluc’s neck “Daddy is the best!”

“Mn” He lightly hummed, stroking your small back with his warm gloved hand.

“Oh? But did you that there is also someone called the ‘Darknight Hero’who beats bad guys in the dead of night? If you call for him, he might just help you get rid of those bad dreams completely” Kaeya chuckled as he watched his sworn brother throw him a small glare

“You’re talking too much” Diluc scoffed at him.

“Darknight Hero? That name sounds cool!” Your eyes twinkled. “But I dont need the darknight hero! No, no, nope!”

“Why not?” Kaeya asked, leaning his head towards you a bit “Dont you want to see a real hero?”

“Heroes are cool and all but... I have Daddy!” Diluc slightly flinched at your reply. “Daddy doesnt need to wait until moon appears to be a hero! Daddy is always here and makes the baddies go bye-bye effortlessly! And daddy is really-really handsome too and-and really strong! I dont need another hero cuz I have daddy! And daddy is all i would ever want!”

Your voice was so full of innocence and admiration one could almost feel like they were walking in a field of flowers. Diluc felt embarassed since Kaeya wasnt the only one who heard- The people passing were in awe by your innocence. He sure is lucky to have such a cute child like you. Being the clueless little angel you are, you rubbed your cheeks together with a proud grin.

“That’s adorable and all... But what about Uncle?” Kaeya cooes.

“Mn... Erm... “ You thought for a bit. “Daddy is still cooler!”

“As cold as your father, you really do take after him” He shakes his head.

“Alright, that’s enough” Diluc finally says. “It’ll be dark soon, it’s best we go home now”

“And I was just beginning to have fun with the little one” He shrugs “You take care now. Be sure to listen to your daddy and sleep a lot so you’ll grow”

“I will!”

With that, Diluc started to head towards the gates of Monstadt.

“Daddy?” You yawned softly.

“Is there something you want?” He asked softly, stroking your back. 

“When I grow big... I want to be just like you... I wanna be strong and make all the baddies... Go bye bye” Your words faltered as you drifted off to sleep in his chest. 

“Not just yet, dont grow up too fast” Diluc whispered in your small ear, nosing your little head and giving it a small peck. he doesnt want that yet, let him  cherish you with all his heart. Let him handle the villains, let him protect you with everything he can. He knows he wont be able to protect you always, he knows there’s always going to be a day where you’ll have to face the dark reality of this world,... But just this once, just a little while longer... Let him cherish your inoccence. Continue to be cluless about the cruel world. Just smile brightly, so bright that even the sun cannot match it.

If you were the loud obnoxious meme type, hed still try to watch out of curiosity, and as much as he appreciates that you were getting comfortable here in Devildom with how you laugh and joke around, he still can't approve of it. Warnings: Mentions of gender dysphoria, internalized transphobia, insecurity gang rise up. I’ll try and keep it more general since this is meant to be a comfort/fluff piece.

The Brothers With an Insecure (AFAB) Nonbinary MC

As a whole, the Devildom doesn’t really do traditional gender. The variety in demons’ and fallen angels’ appearances makes for such a diversity of body types that markers of femininity and masculinity are easier to disregard. It’s commonplace to provide one’s pronouns along with their name when meeting someone new, and any changes in a demon’s presentation are noted with little more fanfare than a new haircut.

Even angels don’t really get preoccupied with gender: in fact, as MC discovered one day while talking with Luke and Simeon, most barely grasp the concept of what a gender is. Simeon had mentioned that this occasionally resulted in him forgetting the genders of his characters, resulting in TSL being extremely popular among transgender and nonbinary fandom communities.

But MC is not from the Devildom, nor are they from the Celestial Realm. They’re from the human world, with its reductive views on bodies, presentation, and identity. A year in the Devildom can’t erase a lifetime of cissexism.

Some days, it wears on them more than others.

Lucifer

Lucifer is always aware when MC’s self image starts wavering

As someone who has fought tooth and nail to remain true to himself, he understands the struggle of facing resistance to this

But the idea of it coming from within is somewhat foreign to him

Nonetheless, he’ll do anything within his power to make MC feel better

Will calmly, but firmly assert that MC is the only one who can determine their identity

It’s not about how they were born or raised, but who they know themself to be deep down

If it’s their gender dysphoria making them feel invalid, he’ll try and minimize it however he can

Need a different RAD uniform? No problem. Worried about being perceived a certain way? Anyone who stares at MC for too long or even dares to make a comment about their presentation is getting the Lucifer Death Glare.

Physical/body dysphoria? The Devildom has tons of temporary and permanent solutions for that, they can try whatever they’d like

It is vital for the success of the exchange program that all the students feel comfortable and well-accommodated

Also MC is very dear to him and he hates to see them suffering

Levi knows, without fault, every single TSL characters’ pronouns and identities, if and how they change through the series, and between different media adaptations

He can (and will) list all the nonbinary characters like a gender Pokemon Rap, with special attention on those who match MC’s presentation and/or AGAB

(Not that AGAB is essential or even always available information, but dysphoria is not a rational creature, and Levi is very familiar with irrational emotions)

Would MC say that any of these characters aren’t really nonbinary because of how they look or how they started out? Then why are they any different?

But if something about their appearance is really bothering them, he might have a solution

Well, sort of

Crossplayers use all sorts of techniques to masculinize or feminize their appearance when necessary, and Levi’s pretty familiar with most of them

So if MC wants to try some out to see if it makes them feel more comfortable, he wouldn’t mind showing them! You know… if they’re… interested…

Also double-checks to make sure it’s okay that he calls them his “Henry” and assures them that it’s about the character’s role and personality, and not some sort of gender-based comparison

i chose winter coats as a symbol of coverage - he doesn’t show much of himself unless he’s close to you (like when you wear winter coats to keep warm, he’s a burrito because he doesn’t bother too much about sharing his feelings), but when he does, it feels like he has the ability to keep you warm and comfortable, even on the coldest days, even if his inner savage comes out

i see him as the kind to get regular coffee and like, a tart or something, at a cafe. it adds on to the warmth, when he remembers what you like. the details. maybe you like your coffee with cinnamon or less sugar or something, but then he tops it up with a muffin and he knows you like it heated up so he specifically asks for them to do so

ok but he’s defo the kind of guy that catches people’s attention at public spaces so every now and then when he’s laughing or smiling, some girl would gawk at him and he would be embarrassed about it, but lucky for you, you’re already wearing matching coats so they know the man’s taken uwu

HYUNJAE - CONCERTS AND CONVENIENCE STORE DATES

classy but calm. dream-like but realistic. 

i say concerts as in the instrumental, ballad kinds. he loves it and he knows you probably need the sleep where you have that kind of background white noise/music that provides you the best quality of sleep there is. but when you’re not dosing off, he’s admiring how much time you’re willing to invest into being at something he loves

of course, in turn, he doesn’t complain much when you’re hungry and you meet him down the street at the nearest convenience store for some instant noodles and potato chips with a coke and he lets you ramble about your day 

he would probably buy you an ice cream just so you’d feel better, then regret it when you get a stomachache later cause it was like 2am in the morning

you probably have like 5 of his hoodies at home that you refuse to wash cause his scent is tainted all over it and the only time he gets to take them home is when he stays over or visits and he sneaks one into his bag when you’re in the kitchen making tea or a bowl of noodles

then you’ll get it back without even knowing it was gone

the kind that would probably surprise you after a day of work with a casual date idea to the movies, and i mean showing up at your place, impromptu, after he knows you’re home with two tickets

JUYEON - STARGAZING AND VR GAMES

as dumb and sometimes bimbotic as he seems he is, he’s gotten most of the visible constellations memorised and he would not hesitate from telling you all about his childhood with his family when they would travel and try to spot every single constellation they can remember

which brings me to the point where he remembers what you like, but... backhandedly. he doesn’t remember what you like but he remembers what you hate instead, so you don’t ever have to worry about getting that licorice flavoured jelly bean

he would offer a midnight walk to help you relieve your stress, cause he knows you just like seeing the nightsky amidst the peace and quiet while he rambles on for his own satisfaction. not everything has to be so emotionally attached and shared. you can share blissful moments without being the reason for each other’s and that’s totally fine.

juyeon is kind of a scaredy cat in the sense that he isn’t really into horror movies or games but he’s always had that dream to become a pilot and so for his birthday, you brought him to a vr game arcade where he played some plane simulator and ever since, you’ve been taking turns to surprise each other with a new vr arcade spot or adding on to the vr game console set you have at home

KEVIN - KARAOKE SESSIONS AND NEON LIGHTS

the best-friend kind of partner you would come across once in a lifetime

a billion film shots of you after he drags you to the karaoke and he beats you at super intense songs like the bohemian rhapsody just cause he can hit those high notes and solely because he was screaming on the floor when he did it

almost left his film camera behind 

absolutely LOVES those walks along streets where there are a million neon lights

would come across that one sus neon light signs that indicate a sex toy store and he would give you that sly smile and probably joke for you to go in 

kevin has a moon neon light in his room and you have a star or something (whatever you want)

corrects your grammar and pronunciation, only for you two to bicker about it even more when you use google translation and there are different pronunciations depending on where/what accent you’re using

he really is your light in the dark, even if he’s known to be introverted. once he’s comfortable enough with you, he makes you feel like the most important person in the world

has one of those portable speaker microphones at home and he drones on and on and on with some billie eilish song until you hurl a pillow at him

his entire wardrobe fits you - the only problem is that he’ll never let you wear it in fear that you’d stain or tear something

shared playlists because that’s how similar your taste in music is, and so sometimes when you have your earpiece in and you’re humming the melody of that song, chanhee picks it up immediately despite not hearing that song, and ends up harmonising with you

got kicked out of the library once or twice because it was exam period and the two of you won’t shut up

ironically doesn’t sing that much if you’re not around

chanhee is a true blue introvert - which is a miracle that you’ve managed to tear through that barrier of his and find out that he giggles at every stupid thing you do: he’s having a bad day? trip over the pavement. he’ll laugh. it works

dragging him out to go strawberry picking was so difficult - but of course chanhee isn’t safe from how beautiful and enticing the fresh fruits were.

didn’t touch anything strawberry flavoured OR any strawberries for the next month or so

his straightforwardness comes with the breakdown of his barrier - but that’s what brings you comfort. he will never lie, he will only be sarcastic and even then, you’d know it’s true

i used duets as a symbol of harmony and being in-sync, though never really exactly the same, and that’s how it is with chanhee. your thoughts are very similar even though he’s much more introverted than you, but that’s what binds you

city tours - the kind that you already know inside out and yet you STILL travel the area as if you were a tourist

you’re used to him biting your hand out of nowhere and yet it startles you all the time. that stupid chucky doll in his living room? old, but it never fails to scare you

he doesn’t ever talk about it that much, but he loves it when you co-ordinate outfits

no, it doesn’t mean you wear couple tees, but it’s aesthetically pleasing to changmin that if he wears cool tones, you would too

he’d be reserved about his thoughts and feelings sometimes but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t think or feel them

there’s a strange sense of familiarity with changmin, because you kind of know what to expect but then you’re never disappointed, you know?

HAKNYEON - STAND UP COMEDY SHOWS AND RUNNING ALONG THE BEACH

there’s something about ju that makes it very casual and easy-going

he hates horror genred themes so fuck that, he would queue online just for the latest ali wong comedy show, even if it’s an online show, and he would laugh until he cried

sometimes he’s a drama queen but that makes it alot easier for you to know what he’s thinking or feeling - it makes communication alot easier

that means a lack of arguments

he’s also very empathetic but straightforward, exactly like how comedy shows are - because they are relatable, they are funny because they bring out the irony and sarcasm and all the dumb things in life that people are sometimes afraid of talking about and hak just says whatever he wants to say, even if he knows it might be hurtful or upsetting

he prioritises truth and honesty over anything else

it makes you a better person, honestly

beach walks - very calming, very liberating. he lets you yell and scream and kick sand back into the water because you can, and he does it with you

tries to teach you how to skip rocks but you suck and you can’t so he just pulls you away from the pile of rocks you amassed

SUNWOO - SOCCER FRIENDLIES AND STUDIO SESSIONS

he will NOT go easy on you in a friendly match: you might be one of the fastest players of the female team but he’s ruthless in his ball-stealing, so even if you were fast enough to keep the ball out of his reach, he’d still be able to snatch it right out between your feet

very, very competitive and does not like to lose

you would always play the ‘ladies first’ card but then he’d throw the ‘feminism’ card back at you 

sometimes you act more like siblings than anything else 

the only time when he isn’t fuming with competition is if you’re injured because he accidentally tackled you - he’ll gracefully give himself a yellow card before absolutely trashing you in the next match

has one foot into the production game recently - likes to play with the beat board and mixing tunes, and since you’ve had your hand in doing music remixes for a deejay job before, you’re there to identify which songs have the same bass line or beat counts for easier mixing

would make you a playlist of remixes but wouldn’t admit that he spent a whole day in the studio without you just so it would be a surprise

full of impromptu, casual ideas to hang out 

baking is a fucking mess - why did he suggest it when he doesn’t even have the right ingredients?

wanted to replace eggs with water - like ok thats supposedly healthier, but why????????????

he likes cleaning so that was the only fucking bonus in baking - had to call his mom for help halfway through because the cookies looked more like goop than playdough

gave up in the end and he repaid his debt by helping clean your kitchen

tried to teach you how to skateboard, but he ended up falling off his own in the process and now he’s got a grazed knee 

the kind of person you’d have so much chaotic fun with, he’s that friend your mom told you to NOT hang out with that much if not you’d get run down by a car
