was reading Sherlock holmes and this popped into my head

#I’m fine with writers doing something different with a character but they keep making them weirdly mean for no reason #please stop mischaracterizing the blorbos #Sherlock is not a heartless machine of a man. he has allot of compassion he just has trouble properly expressing it.#Why do they keep making him emotionless and broody #well the broody is accurate #stop making him mean to Watson that’s his hypeman bestie soulmate he would kill and die for #And he has a sense of humor. he’s described laughing giggling or chuckling in the books allot. Especially at his own jokes #Batman is a genuinely good person who cares about the people around him and also the entirety of Gotham #He cares about his mentally unwell villains and wants them to get the help they need #And he also doesn’t kill. Under any circumstance. That’s a big part of his character idk how anyone could miss that #the mischaracterization of Batman is so bad it’s effecting the comics #It’s spreading like a infection #Superman is sweet and kind and full of love for humanity #he’s ridiculously powerful and uses that power to selflessly help others #most importantly he’s just a farmboy from Kansas #Not that deep into Superman lore sorry #There’s hope for the future of Superman and Batman movies #which is nice #Sherlock holmes #acd sherlock #Superman #batman #Dc

In light of the recent FanFiction.net scare, for anyone looking to do bulk downloads of their favorites/bookmarks/fics in general, two excellent resources:

ao3downloader: works with Python. Does what it says on the tin.

FanFicFare: works with Calibre. Can download from many sites, including AO3 and FF. My bad, FF is NOT supported. Lots of other sites are, though. Anyone got one that DOES work on FF?

Edit: I am again emphasizing the BULK in bulk downloads. AO3 obviously has an excellent single-fic download option. This is for if you want to automate that. For all your fics. ...Bulk download.

It's very important to me that Kabru's party thinks that he's being a freak when he's talking about his special interest, just like Laios' party thinks he's a freak about monsters

Because that makes it very obvious that his love for humans is not the average kind its weird and a little bit disturbing and he talks about it way too much and get's way too excited and noticed things other's don't about it and will go on whole speeches about it. In conclusion, autism.

I imagine him happy stimming without noticing when talking about it and all his friends seeing it as a sign that he's getting way too excited, or he bringing up in the most random situations sometimes when only he can see the connection between the subject at hand and his special interest. Maybe sometimes he'll share some "silly little fun fact" that sounds like he's trying to teach people how to commit murder and get away with it but he really just thinks it's interesting

I don't know where I'm going with this. Autism

[A look at other happenings... The Princess Mourns.]

She sets down her notebook, puts away her diary, and sighs. The mirror she was provided shows her the sad face she wears. There is a moment of silence before Twilight turns from her reflection and moves her mane in an attempt to cover the bite on her neck. It is healing nicely at least, the bleeding ceasing long ago, all that is left are scabs. She hopes the wound does not scar.

?: Princess? A voice calls her, and she answers. Twilight: Yes, Doctor Tea?

Dr. Herbal Tea: The Subject's body is being brought in to begin the Autopsy. Twilight: Oh, I see. I'll watch from the window as discussed. Please talk aloud as you work, so that I know what is happening. Dr. Herbal Tea: Of Course, Your Majesty. Her nose wrinkles as she walks to the window, watching with sad eyes as one of the best and brightest of Ponyville's medical staff is rolled in on a slab. She hates when they speak in such formalities. Right now... Right now Twilight doesn't feel very much like a Princess. She doesn't feel like a Good Element of Harmony either. But she shouldn't dwell, she needs to focus. Nurse Redheart's body is placed gently on the operating table, her body looking wrong as ever. Twilight cringed at the sight of loose skin, torn at the mouth, and mangled legs.

Twilight: If it weren't for the bones and sagging skin, I'd have trouble telling she was infected at all. Dr. Herbal Tea: I suspect under cover of darkness, it would be nigh impossible until far too late. Twilight: Please begin the Autopsy, and gather infected samples. Dr. Herbal Tea: Yes, Princess. The Doctor turns to the dead Nurse, using his magic to pick up a scalpel.

Dr.: First incision... Note: Sagging Skin is thicker around chest and stomach. Opening subject RH-T3-01. Can confirm the presence of many large pustules.

Dr.: Very thin membrane.

Dr.: Odd. Organs appear mutated... Enlarged lungs, the heart seems swollen. Taking notes.

Dr.: Looking inside the mouth... Hm. The four Fang-Teeth at the back resemble snake fangs. Pulling Fangs for later examination.
