Surreal coming back to the series that started it all, where my love of mpreg began. Pretty sure if it weren't for Toriyama, I may not have even dabbled into mpreg at all. A wild thing to think about. But so glad I did and would do it over again in a heartbeat.

What if ELWE. Was the one. That gave birth. To Luthien?

The Ainur can’t give birth to elves/mortal/etc, they can only sire children. Something to do with an ainur having to keep 1 solid constant shape for months on end to carry a child to term, which they can’t really do as it’s against their nature, and that usually when they have to appear “elf-like” it’s more a disguise and not them actually altering their body to be more mortal(?) ig?

As a result Elwe was the one to get knocked up, and after Luthien he said “no more”.

And Luthien, as a result, calls Elwe mama, and Melian papa, but because most elves don’t know that Elwe was the mother, they always confused the two.

Luthien: Naneth(Elwe) is so kind and patient with me.

Elf: ah, Melian must be a gentle maia.

Luthien: Ada can be pretty cold at times.

Elf: Elwe should be kinder to his daughter.

It has created the biggest misunderstanding of all time, and only Elmo, Oropher, and a hand full of other elves knows that Elwe is the mother Luthien is always talking about.

Incredibly creative ideas behind the art as well, so know she’s truly a fountain of ideas when it comes to writing Mpreg lore (which is why I’m grateful for their creativity when I came to her and said HELP I MADE AN OC BUT IDK THE BACKSTORY YET).

Basically—out of gratitude/apology for How Things Went when Charlie and Vaggie visited Heaven, Emily sends them a lovely little miracle that’ll let sinners have a child (logic being that Vaggie’s a sinner so she and Charlie can’t have kids). Lucifer and Alastor, being Lucifer and Alastor, find a box marked “for CHARLIE and Vaggie” and get in a petty spat over delivering Charlie her mail. In accordance with Murphy’s Law, they bust open the box and detonate the miracle. They’re too busy arguing about the ordeal they don’t even really know *what they did* at first until Charlie finds the note from Emily explaining the contents of the box followed by “p.s. don’t tell Sera” and “p.p.s. Sir Pentious says hi” and, well, Alastor and Lucifer DO NOT take the news well.

They’re VERY not interested in each other in this au (Alastor’s not interested in ANYBODY and Lucifer’s interested in ANYBODY BUT ALASTOR), but they agree to coparent the kid together—Lucifer wants a second chance after Charlie, and Alastor wants his own Prince or Princess of Hell he can mold to be the exact breed of evil he wants. Enemies to coparents not enemies to lovers, y’know?

I find the "we are both boys and we need an heir that's why we can't be together." In the anowjanus fics a bit silly. Like, pls, we're talking about a dystopian world where they create mutants of animals, or like in the original trilogy the dogs they made looked like the dead tributes.

We have world-changing nature manipulating technology, and you're telling me it isn't possible to give a man a working uterus? Like let your imagination fly dear, they can have an heir bc they have the money to get something like that done.

Idk maybe it's just me, I'm not bashing on any fics that have that fact or anything. But we're talking dystopian, the rules that apply to us here don't always apply to them. Be free.
