Help us get groceries!

It's the day before I get paid, but we have too many expenses to be able to really make room for a lot of food so we need help!!!

We just need enough to be able to fill in the gaps and get some groceries so we can stop relying on takeout, it's unsustainable to have to keep ordering out so we really need this!!!

keep seeing the FoHoU take that verna didn't give leo and vic a proper warning or chance to escape their horrible deaths and maybe I'm interpreting it wrong but like. yes? she did?

with leo, she posed as the cat lady and offered multiple times to let him adopt one of the cats that was going to be put down otherwise — a choice that would've saved said cat from certain death but would have also forced him to face consequences for what he did to pluto. instead he brushes this off in favor of the black cat who's already guaranteed a safe home, because it means he can continue to avoid taking any responsibility.

with vic she poses as a potential human test subject who blindly trusts whatever vic tells her about the heart device; she has the chance to admit to verna/pamela that the device isn't safe or ready, but instead she decides to go forward with the human trials and continue to cut corners despite fully knowing that it was dangerous.

all the kids were going to die no matter what. verna's warnings weren't about actually warning the kids that they were about to die, the warnings were there to provide them with a clear-cut way out of making a morally reprehensible decision (that they were already going to make) and proving to verna that they didn't deserve to die horribly. none of them took their respective ways out though, which is why only lenore got to die peacefully.

Okay but linc is such a good character??? His development this season has been amazingly consistent and COMPELLING... PLUS, hes not only a good character on his own, but the way he adds to the other teens' arcs is. so good. i think thats why hes shipped with literally almost every other teen... its because his relationships with each of them is just so unique and interesting.

oh also at the berlinale the berlin film festival a documentary called "no other land" won which is an israeli-palestinian co-production about a man named basel adra in the occupied west bank and his life under apartheid. i'm very surprised they even let this one win in the first place tbh. anyway the israeli filmmaker and journalist yuval abraham who in his accepting speech criticized the apartheid and that even tho he and basel only live 30 minutes apart they both lead extremely different lives is now getting death threats. the berlin mayor, who is not jewish by the way, said what he said in his speech was "anti-semitic." a german non jewish politician called a jewish israeli man anti-semitic for calling for equal rights. yuval abraham sadly is part of a minority though and he is going back to israel tomorrow i think, i very much hope he will be safe after his return. israeli jews who have been outspoken about the oppression have fallen victims of their own society themselves way too many times. i dont know how many times i've said i cannot believe it but i simply really just cannot believe the absolute shit show this world is.
