36 - Deeper Into Darkness

I don't care what happens anymore. Call forth your demons, let me see them with my own eyes. Such sweet ruin we shall wreak together, here in the darkest depths of our mutual despair!

I'll take the knife if you'll take the lead, and together we shall stab the earth as she draws her final breath. Destiny or demon, it matters not - we both lost control some time ago, didn't we? The world can fall to rack and ruin, if you'll just hold me as we descend.

Monstrous claws grasp and grope, wrack my world and watch me roar. Titanic footfalls shake the foundations as we collapse to the beat of a calamitous drum. Let the light look on, bear witness to the crimes of our palpitating hearts. They can't hurt us here, my dear, swathed in the darkness's primal embrace.

Nothing is as it should be, but this is how we should be. Break my chains and I shall break your cage. Watch with me as our fragile reality splinters like frosted glass, hold my hand as we crack like porcelain and merge at the fault lines; unmaking ourselves to make us whole once more.

What will they say, when they see the monster we've become? Condemned them for forbidden connection, they'll surely hold us in contempt... but oh, tell me! If this be so wrong, then why... why is it all I want? Why would fate forsake us for something so sickly-sweet? And what of you, my sweet - don't you wish to see what horrors we could wreak?

No judgments, no justice, down here in the dark - just us.

Theoretically if I bring back the strings from his old design it could just be the implication of Nines, puppetmastering or some such
