As announced previously, this post will be focused on Yixuan’s past.

First of all, who is she?

Yixuan is a fox spirit, as well as the nemesis of the rabbit spirit. They often quarrel, but most of the time, Yixuan is the one looking for trouble.

She holds a grudge on the rabbit spirit for a precise reason: years ago, Yixuan's sister Qiuru admired the rabbit spirit a lot, to the point of falling in love.

Unfortunately for her, her feelings were unrequited. Soon after, she disappeared.

Even though, in Yixuan’s mind, it looked like the rabbit spirit was responsible for this, she later learns the truth about her sister’s disappearance. It appears that the persons responsible are the gods… and Jiamin.

During this time, Jiamin was not yet ‘co-existing’ with the rabbit spirit. After Tianyang’s betrayal, she was expected to marry Yuling. But Qiuru intervened. This is the help mentioned in the second post!

When Yixuan learns the truth, her vengeance includes Jiamin, too. Since the latter went back to a pretty normal life after the sealing of the rabbit spirit, Yixuan takes advantage of the situation and uses a snake (a lesser spirit) to control Jiamin as she wishes and turns her against Ning Ke.

Yixuan doesn’t have any good reason to also hold a grudge on Ning Ke. She just wants to ruin her relation with Jiamin. In Yixuan’s mind, Qiuru sacrificed herself for their happiness, but neither Jiamin nor Ning Ke is aware of it.

However, Ning Ke won’t let Yixuan continue 👀

World Building

Biology

Within this world there are 4 types of inhabitants: Animatronics, Humanoids, The Immortal And the Spirits.

Examples of these are: Freddy Fazbear an Animatronic, Balloon Boy a Humanoid, Shadow Bonnie an Immortal & Phantom Foxy a spirit.

Shadow Freddy & Shadow Bonnie are both immortal entities, being around since the beginning, they age like normal people but it takes them 100x longer. By the time one animatronic will have its life cycle (of about an average 100 yrs or less) They would have only aged one year.

White rabbit is the product of their world experiencing abnormalities, a “glitch” in the system it may seem. He was born after a refresh¹.

Animatronics & Humanoids

The animatronics here do not have human possessors, they are their own person. Furry-robotic cyborgs who cannot live properly without their mechanical parts. A large majority of them only have mechanical internals such as organs, they extend their lives tenfold & keep them strong. However, some of the population may suffer damage or make personal body customizations, where their mechanical parts may be anywhere outside the body & visible. In situations where the animatronic is gravely injured, their body may be reconstructed with almost entirely mechanical parts. All animatronics are different and follow different biological rules, especially ones with elements attached to their biology ex. Jack o’ Bonnie. Some can live without beating hearts, others cant. But all animatronics have natural brains. Without them they cannot live.

As mentioned before biology ranges, but they tend to have reinforced skeletons.

Animatronics can “have” kids, but 99% of the time the kids are built mechanically. The downside to this is that they don't live as long as their parents do & are extremely fragile. Because the animatronics are half biological, having a child that's blood related to them is possible… but the chance of both the child & host living is extremely slim. Which is why adoption & Artificial creation is the most common form of family building.

In the slim chance that a child born naturally survives they will have to have immediate operation done to them. As the parents biology prevents them from providing all that's needed for it to survive naturally. And in this case, when done with careful precision, the child can live with robotic alterations just as long as their parents.

Immortal

The Immortals are divine entities, they are god-like in power and have the ability to traverse dimensions and dictate the past or present. They keep things in check, and work from behind the scenes. These abilities can be abused, and with this abuse it slowly kills the host the more they exert their power.

Their biology is very similar to normal animatronics, except they lack organs and have the inability to eat or sleep. To get rest, they often enter a state of mental and physical dormancy for up to weeks at a time, to get them awake is extremely difficult. They can be hurt by any species but it heals very quickly, they simply cannot be killed unless another immortal does it.

But with that comes a sacrifice, to kill an immortal is to erase the very foundation in which their world is built. Either way it never ends up well.

Immortals can interact with spirits just as spirits interact with each other.

Spirits

Spirits are the undead, animatronics who are in limbo, their past lives lay restless and they are stuck in the overworld unable to be erased.

They can pass through objects as they please, but also avoid them. They struggle to interact with natural objects, only able to touch other spirits. The living can see them just fine, yet talking is harder. Usually they use other electronics to communicate efficiently. Some don't speak at all, they have the unique ability to possess others however rare and energy draining it may be.

Contrary to popular belief, they cannot fly although gravity does not seem to affect them.

They don't look very ghostly and have translucent skin, if they wish to be unbothered they can hide themselves away in plain sight. The spirits as one would guess cannot eat or drink, they can however rest.

All spirits look different, depending on how they died.

White rabbit is a spirit by technicality, except he is also living. His limbo is different, he can eat and drink and cannot pass through objects, however he can interact with other spirits. And has the unique ability to read minds; he can be hurt and die over and over again but eventually he comes back.

Map & landmarks

Their world is quite small, and at some point there's simply an edge at which all living things cease to exist, and anything to be pushed past that point gets lost.

Built around “Lilygear Lake” there are 9 seperate areas, and 3 different city like areas.

Forests border the east and west side.

Lilygear lake is technically 5 smaller lakes,

The largest being known as Lilygear, and the 4 others having separate names.

Paw Lake, Claw Lake, Sharp lake, Jaw lake.

They each harbor their own individual ecosystem.

In the north it snows, and there lies the entrance/exit to an underground tunnel. This tunnel is maze like in style, often leading to dead ends.

AITA for trying to force my realm into basically a full on lockdown while faking my boss’s grandson’s illness? I, (100+ M) was told by my old boss (600+ M deceased) that all humans are evil and will cause chaos to our society if we interact with them. If the evil among us interact with them, it’ll turn the humans evil, and when they die and become one of us then they will be evil spirits and inspirit humans making them evil and so on and so forth. My old boss died years ago, but his grandson (70m) wants to keep interacting with humans. I’m older than him so I obviously know what’s right, right? And HIS GRANDFATHER told me this was the right thing! So I locked him in a magical prison and lied to the press saying he got Influenza type A, and that to stop other spirits from getting it I ordered a complete travel ban for all spirits into the human world. A few stupid spirits are trying to tell me I’m in the wrong here, but I’m just fulfilling my old boss’s dying wish! AITA?

UPDATE: Oh my god the weird ice cream ghost that was trapped in a Gacha capsule for decades is here with a cat, a rabbit(?) and two dogs. Also they brought 2 human CHILDREN with them?? what the fuck I thought they weren’t supposed to be able to communicate anymore???

anyway, have more...idk, niche?? obscure?? idk, these Rewrite headcanons are just random things that range from projection to things i think would be cool for them:

alright...ripping the band-aid off: Toxic Old Man Yaoi (it gets one-sided on William's end after...Y'know) is canon to the Rewrite. alright moving on-

(listen. i wasn't expecting to get into it. I Really Wasn't. and then it grew on me. and then i saw That One Line from the novels where someone stumbled on William's journals and read the parts about Henry and i just kinda went ??? oh so that's an actual line?? holy shit?? because i had seen someone post the line before but i didn't know if it was like. an actual line from the books. oh my lord.)

William wasn't exactly subtle, but unfortunately for him, Henry had the Autism Obliviousness (same here, bestie).

Claire, William's (now dead) wife, was actually aro, and viewed her and William's relationship as some sort of Lavender Marriage, because to her, she gets to raise the kids she wanted, and William gets to be gay for his business partner-

Anna also didn't mind too much, mostly because (unbeknownst to her at the time) she was a lesbian and already didn't really feel that way about Henry to begin with. she was more upset about the fact that Henry was so damn Oblivious.

Henry always struggled with his balance (i'm projecting), but before he got his cane, he'd lean on things for support or hold onto someone. Will would also help him get around by holding his arms or even hands. did i mention Will was not subtle.

William and Henry did Not have good childhoods. it's part of the reason why they're Like That with their own families (Henry being a good dad but a pushover, and William not being physically or verbally abusive, but being emotionally abusive instead because he's That paranoid about screwing up, and then ends up screwing up in another way).

William's obsession with rabbits and hares isn't purely a Special Interest thing (although that is a huge part of it), it's...also kinda partially something that came from some Childhood Trauma stuff, as well as kinda being a therian thing.

speaking of! 4/6 members of the Afton Household have some therian/otherkin shit going on. William is ockin (i don't think this one needs much explanation. like. i think the guy pretty much kins his own oc) and is a hare/rabbit therian. Michael is a dog/fox therian. Elizabeth is also a rabbit/hare therian. Cassidy is plushkin (look. do i even need to explain this one), and it's part of the reason he uses a lot of toy/broken toy metaphors for himself after he dies.

for William, being O'Hare was kind of this...escapism thing. he can be his true, genuine self and he isn't viewed as annoying for it. if anything, people find him lovable. he can be a playful silly hare and he's looked up to for it. but...after he becomes Springtrap, after years of being locked in a back room, stuck in building filled with spirits who either hate or fear him...at some point, William stops pretending he isn't a sadistic monster. it's hard to deny it. and so he doesn't. Springtrap is effectively William fully embracing being O'Hare....but becoming twisted at the same time, if that makes sense.

it's like...imagine you see this rotting green-yellow bunny that CLEARLY has a rotting corpse inside, but it's acting eerily cheerful and treating (checks notes) Chasing You Down With The Intent To Maim And/Or Murder You as a fun game you're both enjoying. yeah, by this point, William kinda Lost It (and by "kinda" i mean He 100% Did)

Michael struggles to figure out if he's dealing with Actual paranormal shit or if it's just hallucinations and stuff that he's having out of guilt and grief (USUALLY, it is the former)

Mike once dislocated one of his knees on the school playground back in elementary school (me projecting), and William practically spoiled him rotten during that time. Michael hated it, hated asking his father for help, hated being treated any different. but...with Charlie and his friends, it's like he was perfectly fine asking for help, welcoming of any assistance. oh well! i'm sure there's no deeper meaning to any of that- (something something "Fearing Dependency Yet Also Craving It")

Distinguishing Marks or Characteristics: A black “mask” type tattoo around his eyes, three straight lines between his bottom lip and chin, both eyes have a vertical line from his hairline to his eyelids, both hands are pitch black (blighted) and dark bruise-like marks fade up to his shoulders. Usually wears leather gloves to cover his hands. His throat, shoulders and the joints in his arms and legs all have dark scars (think where jointed dolls have their joints), three ring clacker in his septum, plus various other facial piercings

Personality —

Greatest Strength: His empathy. He loves animals and goes out of his way to make others feel accepted.

Greatest Weakness: His empathy. Often times he absorbs too much of everyone else’s moods and energy and will fall into a depression.

Soft Spot: Onyx

Mannerisms: horrible about making ill-timed, corny jokes whenever there’s tension around. One of those people who greatly overshares and trauma dumps without realizing. Because he’s a reaper and sees death constantly, he’s completely desensitized towards it, often resulting in comments/work stories that make others uncomfortable.

Miscellaneous Trivia —

Always has what appears to be the spirit of a Raven that flies around him or sits on his head/shoulder. She can dematerialize to be invisible, although she can be heard through the veil. actually a spirit who’s wandered earth, lost for so long their soul had deteriorated substantially and they are only able to materialize a small portion of their original form, unable to pass through the realms to reach thier afterlife. They choose to take the form of a semi translucent raven and has been with Zeroh for as long as he’s been a reaper.

He died at the age of 27 by drowning, and even as an immortal he still tends to get anxiety around bodies of water.

Because it’s crafted by shadoweavers*, his scythe can be transferred through the veil whenever it’s not in use, making it disappear, and can be retrieved again from anywhere whenever it’s needed.

* Kriia’s clan crafted his scythe, where he met and became close friends with her, Blythe and Freya.

Sneeze Content —

ALLERGIES

Dogs

Almost anything small and fuzzy like Rabbits, Mice, Ferrets, etc.

Photic (traveling thru the veil as means of transportation/teleportation triggers a few photic sneezes as he rematerializes from the light it generates)

How severe are they?

Extreme. Even though he’s allergic, whenever called to a soul in need of escort and it happens to be an animal he’s allergic to, he still will treat it as he does the rest, often times holding the animal to his chest as he walks to their destination.

Do they get sick often?

Doesn’t typically get sick because of his lack of a beating heart, therefore a nonexistent immune system, although it’s not impossible.

How bad is it usually?

Although it only ever lasts a day at most, it’s almost always severe, and when it’s at its worst, his skin can leak black ooze, and passing through the veil isn’t possible until his health is restored.

Do they stifle?

Sometimes, but it isn’t a regular occurrence.

How loud are their sneezes?

Usually they’re more harsh sounding than loud sneezes if they’re from his allergies, but sneezes from an illness can become extremely loud, often causing Amara to hide in the veil to protect herself.

What do they sneeze into?

Often his hands. If he’s wearing his cloak, he sometimes uses fabric of the sleeves and/or collar.

How often do they sneeze?

Often. With the number of reapers dwindling and Alistar’s laziness quickly increasing, his case load is extremely full. There’s only 3 reapers in a 100 mile radius, meaning he often came in contact with animals he’s allergic to, as well as teleporting home which also causes him to sneeze.

How many times do they sneeze in a fit?

2-3 in a fit is pretty typical, although sometimes he’ll get stuck in a drawn out fit of 6-10 over a 10 minute span.

Do they have build-ups or are they sudden?

Drawn out fits can have build ups, otherwise they’re pretty sudden.

Do they sneeze in public?

He doesn’t like a ton of attention, but he’s very unskilled at holding back so he just accepts it. Gotta do what’cha gotta do, right?

Often he’s even sneezing every few sentences throughout the entire walk to heaven with animals that trigger his allergies.

Backstory —

‪In life, he was a seasoned thief/con artist that scammed and cheated his way through life, selfishly screwing over anyone he could for a quick buck. After a few years, he’d ruined more lives than he could keep track of, although he didn’t care to. After a freak accident that prematurely ended his life, his soul was condemned to the underworld for his actions on earth. There, he begged Lucifer for his forgiveness and to be spared from eternal torture, to which the devil had two conditions: 1. His hands were blighted, and anyone to touch his bare hands would die instantly, and 2., Because of the Anti-Christ’s laziness, more Reapers were needed to be sent out to retrieve souls for him. Zeroh agreed, and he became a reaper, an entity that is permitted between all three realms, in charge of collecting the souls of any living creature on earth and escorting them to their designated afterlife. He wears leather gloves to avoid touching anyone accidentally After his rebirth as a Reaper, Zeroh fell in love with a human man and was in a 15 year relationship with him. One night, he fell asleep without his gloves, and when he rolled over to spoon with him in his sleep, his blighted hands touched his skin and he was killed instantly. It greatly effects him still, making it second nature to keep other people at an arms length, especially romantically. His lover’s soul was stranded for a few hours until he finally woke up, and when Zeroh discovered what had happened, he sobbed for a few minutes before having to walk hand in hand for the very last time with his boyfriend up to heaven, somewhere Zeroh would probably never get to go. It made him swear off relationships as to avoid prematurely ending a life, and saving himself the heartbreak of losing another person. He used to be someone selfish and apathetic towards the world around him but becoming a reaper and being the last conversation many souls ever had was sobering and reformed him. ‬

He is always accompanied by a raven spirit that he dubbed Amara, meaning “Blessed without end or demise.” While they appear as a crow, they are actually a spirit who’s wandered earth, lost for so long their soul had deteriorated substantially and they are only able to materialize a small portion of their original form, unable to pass through the realms to reach thier afterlife. They choose to take the form of a semi translucent raven and has been with Zeroh for as long as he’s been a reaper.

I don’t really use the label of “shaman” as much as I used to but it’s still an integral part of my craft. In short Shamanism is a sacred practice that involves a practitioner interacting with the spirit world, most typically through altered states of consciousness or divinations. It can be a cultural based practice but it doesn’t have to be, that means each shaman is going to have their own unique way to connect with the otherworld and their own unique techniques and magickal correspondences.

For me, as a chaos practitioner and cosmic occultist, I have my own beliefs and spiritual enlightenment that has given rise to some more “unique“ practices amongst new age shamanism but it’s still shamanism at its core. Even still, there are a couple common themes that I do work with as a whole, one of those is the use of the shamans bag.

Now it should be understood that the bag can have many names depending not just on the individual but also the culture should the shaman have a cultural based practice. With these many names also comes many varying understandings and items incorporated into widely unique belief systems. Two examples of such things would be the Native American Medicine bag and the Celtic Crane bag. While different they both share a common ground within some form of shamanism or at the very least practices that mirror it (as not all peoples refer to their practice by the same term). As for me I like to simply refer to my bag as the “Magick Bag.”

My Bag

My bag is actually very old. I got it years ago when I was around 20 or so and unfortunately I don’t remember where. It’s black velvet and as try as I might, it’s terribly hard to keep completely clean. I have 3 cats in my home as well as a dog and an angora rabbit so I feel like I’m almost constantly taking the lint rollers to this thing. Regardless it still remains a very important item for me. As for the colors, Black is my most sacred of colors. It’s the symbol of the void, a prominent source of energy for me. Red as well is also one of my sacred colors. It represents the blood of both life and death. Lastly, the dragon embroidered on the front, is an important symbol for me as dragons have always been a part of my life in and outside of my craft. They symbolize magick as a whole for me so having it on my bag of magick is very meaningful.

This bag originally housed my first ever set of rune stones and miraculously reappeared in my life when I lost nearly everything I had. By some miracle the bag wasn’t in my box of my magick stuff when it got stolen even though I know 100% that it was. For about 5 years or so I was without it and when we moved this bag and runes suddenly reappeared in my things. I can’t explain it but it happened. Now that bag has a new home as my shamans magick bag.

What’s Inside

Inside this bag I have a multitude of items that I use. All of which help me utilize my shamanism in various ways. This u Is indeed a working bag, and is usually kept in my purse when I go places. However occasionally when I despise not to take my purse, as my wallet is actually on a lanyard around my back, I will leave it behind. So like, going to the movies, or the zoo. But for the most part it pretty much goes everywhere with me.

⚜️ Pendulums ⚜️

I keep my pendulums inside a smaller bag within my magick bag. As you can see they are each very different. One is purchased and the other is homemade but each is loved and powerful in their own way.

• Silver Chained Pendulum - This bab is named Astrion and is the first pendulum I ever had. He is made of steal and a dark Amythest, and symbolizes the connection to the metaphysical world. It is used for connecting with my spirit court, guides, guardians, etc.

• Black Chained Pendulum - This pendulum is unnamed and made with an old necklace chain, plastic blood drop beads, and a piece of a deer jaw with the teeth still in it. The jaw itself symbolizes communication with the dead and the blood shaped beads add to this energy. This pendulum is souly for nevromancy work. I actually have s as board drawn for it inside my grimoire.

⚜️ My Spirit Court ⚜️

These are vessels for my spirit court. Spirit guides that aid me in my walk. They are all very precious to me and as such I like to keep them with me. Now, as I describe each one below I will avoid using their names out of respect.

• White Wolf - This represents my Shaman guide. In some beliefs, the shaman achieves their shaman abilities by working with a personal guide. Some practices have these spirits as temporary while others make them a permanent part of the individuals craft. This latter view is how I work. This wolf guide has been with me since childhood and has aided me on many endeavors.

• Obsidian Skull - This is my personal familiar. I created him as a thoughtform to assist me and he’s been by my side for years now.

• Rose Quartz Dragon - This is the vessel for my dragon guardian. Within draconic witchcraft Dragon spirits are born connected to one particular person. They are their partner in magick. This represents mine.

• Black Raven - This guide is my void guide. He assists me by bringing void energy to my magick. I met him only a couple days after I met my wolf guide. So he’s also been by my side for many years.

⚜️ Other Items ⚜️

These are the last pieces that make up my bag. They are the other tools that I can use when I am doing my work. Each one is cleansed and blessed every new moon.

• Howlite Skull - A vessel for spirits of the dead to attach to.

• Three Stones - These are my most sacred stones. The Obsidian calls void energy, the amythest calls various energies of the metaphysical, and the jasper calls energies of life and death magick depending on what I require.

• Mirror - This is used as a portal to call spirits as well as a baneful tool should I need.

• Pocket Watch - the battery in this watch is dead, and along with the rib cage motif reflects death. Therefore it is a vessel for a personal death god I work with.

• Protection Rune - This was given to me by a friend. I carry it to protect myself and my space in all that I do.

• Key - The key is used as a tool to open doorways and portals for spirits.

Conclusion

In closing I want to reiterate that what’s in my bag is what works for me! What you decide to use in your own should reflect what you find powerful. Don’t just put something in it because some witch online told you to. And remember, a shamans bag is a very special piece of them. It shouldn’t be taken too lightly. So if you decide making a bag is right for you, please be respectful of the items and the bc Ah itself, as it represents an extraordinary connection.

I have some 200+ questions about the story so far lol; I am on Retrace XXIII and I need some time to let everything sink in before I move on to the next arc; let me try to frame all my thoughts in a coherent and chronological manner (lol)

1] starting from Alice, because everything in this story seems to revolve around her: she was a human who lived 100 years ago and was murdered during the so-called Tragedy of Sablier with a pair of scissors. the current Chain Alice is only assuming her form and has no memories of her past (which she is trying to collect but I fear the picture they piece together won't be a good one)

after all (re: Rt. 16)--

because her memories were that painful.

I feel like the ‘twisted’ Alice is the actual, remnant spirit of human Alice that created both the dimension inside the musical watch and the one Cheshire is guarding, is also the one Oz met in Retrace I from the graveyard. tho, idk how human Alice became the Chain Alice. or, rather, in Break's words, which is the true version of the chain--is it the Rabbit or is it the girl?

2] Vincent and Gil belong to the same era as Alice. there is some time leap shenanigans going on with them, that's how they landed in the present (or, well, 15 years ago from the present). Gil got adopted in the Vessalius household (as a nine-year-old so 15+9=24) whereas Vincent in the Nightray one.

a minor point: how is Gil growing older with his contract with Raven whereas Break and Sharon stopped aging?

3] Vincent.....this man knows everything. literally everything. Please someone squeeze out the details from him, please. and he is involved (heavily) in the Tragedy, going by these two panels (Rt. 19)

(poor baby ;-; if I have to make a wild guess, either he was lured or brainwashed into this....and he immediately goes into defensive mode, claiming everything is 'that person' 's fault. who is that person? Glen? Alice? although he carried a pair of scissors with him and Oz follows after him, I doubt this pair and the one found near her dead body is the same. def a blind. but I won't leave it out of the options that Vincent did kill Alice)

something else I noticed during that mindscape of Sablier Tragedy is that Oz knows how to get to Alice. he knows the place that was destroyed 100 years ago. idk what to make of this but interesting. this means he must have been alive at that time (Jack Vessalius reincarnation route or something else?)

4] I thought Gil's fear of cats was played for the sake of gags but if it makes him freeze up in a fight against a humanoid looking cat--Cheshire, then it's a serious matter.

5] Cheshire might try to kill everyone in his territory but I am still gonna love him bc he is the cutest cat with the cutest bell that goes ring ring (even if it's for a little while, he made Alice smile while she was alive, look at him snuggled up in her arms)

plus I don't believe Break's words that the Cat is a ‘fanatical follower of the Will’ (Rt:15) and since the Will hates Alice, Cheshire must hate Alice too. I doubt Cheshire would want to kill Alice in any form. he is very loyal to her that even 100 years after her death, he is still here trying to protect the fragment of memory in his bell. he is still trying, in his own little catlike ways, to protect Alice from getting hurt from her painful memories and I just </3 </3

5] Sometime in the past, the Will of the Abyss plucked out Break's left eye and gave it to Cheshire. Why? plus again to my question: what exactly is the Will of the Abyss? What is its connection to Cheshire, Alice and Break? Why does the Will hate Alice? What does the Will want with Oz? and so on

6] Also interesting that here, it’s the Mad Hatter that takes Alice to the mad tea-party conducted by Cheshire Cat

whereas in the original story, it was Cheshire Cat that sent Alice the Mad Hatter’s way. Mad Hatter was not at all gracious to Alice during the mad tea-party lol

Talking of that, Break’s chain seems like some sort of nullification ability (Rt. 20)

aaannd.... Break wonders if the power of the B-Rabbit and that of the Mad Hatter is the same? Break vs Alice soon? But Break's body can't take much of his Chain's power so he will be the first to lose anw

7] Oz feels so strongly for Alice that he singlehandedly started to pull down Cheshire's dimension. In a way, both Oz and Cheshire are the same. they want to protect Alice by destroying everything that hurts her. Cheshire was even ready to go up against the Mad Hatter, against which he stood no chance, just to protect her.

8] Jack Vessalius..... is an enigma. He is hailed as a hero of Sablier, and he, along with the Four Dukedoms, put a stop to the reign of terror under the Baskervilles and saved the country from sinking completely into the Abyss and so on.,..

what I am more curious about is that he appears a lot in Alice's memories and her (the human one, not the chain) reactions to him vary from being highly pleased to be in presence to eagerly waiting for him to downright wanting to kill him. Is she mistaking Oz for Jack? Even Gil mistook Jack for Oz for the same shining golden hair, emerald green eyes. (Rt.17) But Jack was quite affectionate to her in those memories, patting her head and lightly scolding her (Rt.8), then why would she want to kill him? What is their relationship? do I want to know

9] after his speech via Oz's lips, the Pandora officials now believe that Oz is Jack's reincarnation after completing his 100 year cycle. means more burden for Oz to not only maintain the Vessalius House but also the image of Jack.

10] anddd I dunno how to feel about Jack's constant possession of Oz's body. It’s already happened three times now (Rt. 11, Rt.18, Rt. 21) Oz being a hundred year reincarnation of the hero is a bit iffy and cliche but ok, but to be able to ‘possess’ (for the lack of a better word) him every time something arises... if Oz is gonna be under the shadow of the celebrated Jack Vessalius all the time, he won’t have any character development for himself. Oz might try to rely more on Jack than becoming stronger by himself. (two souls possessing one body is only interesting and chaotic when they have opposing interests like Sukuna/Yuuji or Greed/Ling etc.)

11] Baskervilles are even more mysterious. What's their deal? Why do they want the Will of the Abyss? Why did they sink the capital city into the Abyss? Were they trying to make Chains out of the humans by forcing them into the Abyss? and why to massacre everyone? to make crests of blood, FMA-style? After the Tragedy, the remnants of the Baskervilles went into hiding and only came out now with Oz coming of age. According to Jack, they are preparing for a comeback by their master Glen who isn't actually dead apparently. ofc everything starts when our protagonist hits 15

12] The organization of Pandora is... sketchy to say the least. Among many other reasons, but primarily this (Rt. 9)

The members of Pandora too can make a contract with the otherworldly Chains, but apparently, legal. No Seal, no ticking needle, nothing. They get all the benefits from the Chains without risking their lives, which automatically creates a hierarchy of sorts, a kind of divide between the ‘upper class’ and the commoners who blindly walk into these contracts. 

since I am guessing only the people from the four Dukedoms (Rainsworth and Nightray being two) get to make ‘legal’ contracts

the common people get lured into making contracts with the Chains at the promise of ‘ability to change the past’ and eventually, inevitably, failing (bc let’s be real, there’s no way you can do that by killing a bunch of people and even if you do get to change the past, only a hundred new problems will arise and so I never understand the prospects of doing that re: all of those time traveling movies) 

and sinking into the Abyss or dying at the hands of the Pandora

—and watch over the other households (Rt. 13)

(I think Vincent is easily the most perceptive characters we have met so far. He could understand all the underlying politics among the noble families at the age of what? six? seven?

he agrees that part of their status was because of the four families' role in the Tragedy of Sablier but more because they got their hands on the Door to the Abyss. which is really interesting. because it means that the war (massacre?) from 100 years ago also benefited the 'heroes' in many ways. hmmm. was it simply coincidentally spoils of the war? or... was something else going on?)

well, anw my point is that’s for Chains that have already devoured people. But what about Oz and Alice? Oz hasn’t killed anyone nor has Alice eaten anyone bc (Rt.15)

Oz had no choice. He didn’t have any kind of greedy ambition to change the past, to save his business, save someone etc. etc., he just wanted to get out of the Abyss where he had been cast by the Baskervilles in the first place (which they are at again even after ten years)... and the only choice he had, to escape and escape from the mouths of the other Chains dwelling in the Abyss was to make a contract with the strongest Chain there– B. Rabbit. He is not at fault, he had no idea of Chains or Contracts prior to meeting Chain Alice, he did it in the spur of the moment to save his own life and no ulterior motives. 

My question is: If Pandora does have a means to make legal contracts, why don’t they legalize the one between Alice and Oz? The needle’s already moved by two degrees (Rt. 20) and it won’t be long before he is pulled back into the Abyss, this time into the very depths. 

Unless that’s what Pandora wants. 

I literally don’t trust any of the adults around Oz and Alice (except for Gil. I don’t consider Gil as an adult) because Vincent, one of the top echelons of Pandora, is working with the Baskervilles. I don’t know if it’s just him or there are more working with the Baskervilles. (oh but it isn't like he is actually working with them. He is probably planning to backstab them when the time comes and capture the fifth door from them to get hold of the Will.)

Been working on a new OC and i am finally posting about her hear.

Note - I was in the middle of creative block when i started working on this oc, so I ended up using one of my personal bases for her, also I wanted to spend more time on the outfits as well.

Anyway this is Manahimeko or Himeko for short (not her true name witch is a secret), she is few 100 year old water Fae who through circumstances out of her control ended up in Japan in 1700s (the mid Edo Period).

I'll post more info about her and her backstory another time, so lets get on to her design.

American kids are now taught that before Christopher Columbus wrecked things, peaceful Native Americans protected the environment.

Hollywood movies feed the narrative. Disney's "Pocahontas" sings, "I know every rock and tree and creature has a life, has a spirit, has a name."

Political Science professor Wilfred Reilly says that's ridiculous. "Native American hunters gave names to every rabbit in the woods around them? That's not a real thing that happened."

Reilly's new book, "Lies My Liberal Teacher Told Me," and my new video, debunk such myths.

"We've gone into almost this cult-like romanticization of the Natives," says Reilly. "They were great warriors and poets, but they hunted buffalo by driving herds of them off 100-foot-tall cliffs!"

A U.S. government guide for teachers says, "Native Americans lived in harmony with nature ... There was a love of every form of life. (They) did not kill anything they could not use."

"Objectively untrue," says Reilly, "That would mean no young male warrior ... ever killed for sport. We just know that's false."

Reilly's book is a response to the hugely popular left-leaning book, "Lies My Teacher Told Me." It corrected many things history textbooks got wrong about America.

When I grew up, Columbus was portrayed as simply a hero. His brutality and enslavement of Natives was ignored.

But Columbus himself wrote about his slaves, saying, "Indians ... make all our food ... extract gold from the mines ... perform all other ... labors."

"The book was valid, right?" I say to Reilly.

"I don't necessarily think your focus should be white and Native atrocities against one another in a sixth-grade class. The morality of today didn't exist anywhere in the world until about 60 years ago."

I push back: "What's the harm in sending a counter message?"

"You don't need a counter message," Reilly replies. "No one denies that whites and Native Americans killed each other. In 1970, in some Southern schools, people might have been taught a jingoistic view of American history, but the reverse has been true for 40 years."

He says the old myths don't justify new ones.

Like the myth that Natives lived in harmony with nature.

In reality, Natives manipulated their environment. To make farming easier, they set big forest fires to clear land.

"Burning alive hundreds of thousands of small animals and slower-running deer," Reilly says. "Probably killing members of other tribes ... modifying the environment more bluntly."

U.S. government curriculum guides claim Native Americans had "no prejudice" and "no major wars."

"Nonsensical," says Reilly. "In the Aztec capital, there were 90-foot towers of human skulls brought back from their defeated enemies."

Natives also took slaves and considered them "objects of wealth."

Yet the myth of peaceful Natives lives on.

"When myths persist, despite obvious objective reality," Reilly explains, "that's an indicator of a brain virus among people who want the myth to be real. You're looking at people saying the absolute opposite of reality."

Why would today's teachers teach "the opposite of reality"?

"To me it's just downstream from Marxism," says Reilly.

Yes! In colleges today, Karl Marx is the most assigned economist!

Despite the murderous failure of his philosophy, American college students are taught that capitalism and Western values are bad.

"Westerners and white people being so evil. Why is it so popular?" I ask.

"I think that a lot of rich people don't like their father," Reilly quips. "There is a lot of dislike for our society among people who are pretty near the leadership class."

I assume the people who teach these myths mean well. They want minorities to feel included.

But they should at least also teach that America's sins were not unique -- that just about every society had slavery, cruel wars and environmental destruction.

The seldom-taught good news is that now, the West leads the world in trying to make things better.

And the much-maligned capitalist countries lead the world in both lifting people out of poverty and protecting the environment.

Schools ought to teach that.

The 100-year-old rabbit sprit 6/?

I finally found some time to continue my series about The 100-year-old rabbit spirit!

Let’s continue the exploration of The 100-year-old rabbit spirit universe (the French version should get a proper title soon!)

To begin with, I need to do some adjustments, regarding the character of Xiaoai. In fact, I made some changes since I wrote the fourth part!

Remember, Xiaoai is the hyacinth spirit which was granted a human form by Jiamin.

Xiaoai is also the name of Tianyang's reincarnation.

However, this is not the same Xiaoai! (Although I said the contrary until now)

To make it clearer, let’s imagine two parallel worlds where doppelgängers can exist. It is case for Xiaoai, hyacinth spirit, and Xiaoai, Tianyang’s reincarnation.

It could be considered as a mere coincidence, since Jiamin is the one who chose Xiaoai’s name. She might not have known that there was another Xiaoai in another world.

Anyway, I hope this explanation was clear enough 🤞

Since we’re talking about Xiaoai (Tianyang’s reincarnation), let me introduce to you a new character: Tuzi!

This character is special for several reasons. First of all, Tuzi is the short version of the full name of the rabbit spirit. If you remember well, the rabbit spirit is using Jiamin to have a human appearance. But later, Tuzi has to ‘share’ it with another person: Xiaoai, Tianyang’s reincarnation.

In fact, Xiaoai’s mind escaped from her body after a particular event that I’ll explain later.

Of course, this sudden arrival is not without any consequences. Given that Xiaoai is Tianyang’s reincarnation, their memories mixed up with Jiamin’s, as well as memories from the rabbit spirit.

And now, forget everything I just said! No, I’m just joking 🤭

It’s just that an adjustment needs to be done (yes, another!)

Actually, the rabbit spirit is no longer ‘coexisting’ with Jiamin, because it has been sealed by the gods (why? You’ll find out someday, maybe…)

But Yixuan makes everyone believe that Tuzi is still there. Even Jiamin herself is convinced, because she is under Yixuan’s influence.

Now, you might wonder what are Yixuan’s motives. To answer this question, we should take a look at her past. This will be for the next post 😉

Last night I saw a young girl no more than 4 years old in a white and pink dress 👗 being pulled away in Israel. She has a little stuffed animal that looked like a teddy bear 🧸 or a white rabbit and she was terrified 😔 I heard the Holy Spirit say she is missing from her family. My son woke up early this morning and he said he had an apparition of Jesus Christ with a bright red glowing heart ♥️ in his chest. He told my son to tell everyone he is coming. I told my son the heart in Jesus’ chest is referred as the Sacred Heart. Amazing! We both didn’t know that the sacred heart indeed was true. Other Saints have witnessed this. I am in awe.

Wild, Sky, and the Master Sword

Character Analysis, Theory, and Ramblings

Going back through the comic I couldn't help but notice the chains varying views towards the Master Sword (and this led me down a rabbit hole of thoughts and theories).

Ranging from favorable

to fairly positive/neutral

to pretty negative

However, out of the last three I find it interesting that Wild is still willing to use the Master Sword. I think Time and Four recognize the Swords power and importance, but they do not wish to ever wield it. Understandable, as Time personally views the Sword as a curse/burden [X] and Four is worried that it could potentially 'change' him [X].

But Wild...

Despite his views he's still willing to use the sword. I believe he's trying to prove to himself that he's worthy. We know that Wild feels like he's to blame for what befell his world (even though no one in the chain blames him). [X]

From his point of view, the one who drew the Sword 100 years prior was a completely different person to who he is now— one he doesn't know how to be again [X]. It seems as though in the past the Sword easily accepted the 12 year old Wild as it's master. But it's not like that anymore.

All he knows now is this Sword hurt him when he tried to draw it again. And even after he proved himself, the Sword breaks but only when he uses it. He probably feels like a disappointment to the Sword, Zelda, and even the Chain.

(Now, a quick side note in defense of the Master Sword: in Skyward Sword we learn that the Hero needs an unbreakable spirit, "But spirit alone wasn’t enough. You had to overcome many trials andawaken the hero within yourself so that you could wield that supreme power." Every hero must go through trials so that they are strong enough for the battle ahead. Fi probably didn't want to see Wild die again.)

But that's likely not how Wild sees it.

Now to get to the point of all this rambling.

All that anger he's been bottling up has been mostly directed at himself, but I can see his bitterness towards the Master Sword lead to spiteful feelings towards a particular someone in the chain.

I wish this old ask got more attention because it's so intriguing! [X]

Who could it possibly be referring to? Is it a chain member? Who in the chain has the potential to rial Wild up to the point where he could say something so cruel?

When I first stumbled across it, I was perplexed because Wild doesn't seem the type. But the more I thought about it and with the recent updates, we've seen Wild is very capable of intense anger.

His self hatred, his bitterness towards the Master Sword, the stress of this new journey, his mentor and friend being injured (and possibly being infected by dark magic 👀) is all culminating to Wild reaching his breaking point.

And I believe that anger is going to be directed towards a chain member that has an opposing view of the Master Sword: Sky (and maaaybe even Sun?)

I don't think it'll be entirely warranted, but it'll be understandable.

It's been hinted at in the comic that Sky is coming to grasp the full extent of Demise's curse

If Sky comes to this realization he's likely to blame himself, maybe even explain and apologize to the chain. He'd minimize his role in stoping the Demon King and claim he could have done more. Or maybe he'll share his worries with Sun (we recently got a Sun design so she could appear in the comic soon) and Wild could overhear their conversation.

And if Sky feels that he is to blame— that all the tragedy that has befallen the rest of the chain and the future was his fault, what's to stop Wild from disagreeing? It'll be like he's been given an out to direct his anger away from himself and towards someone else.

Without having the complete picture, I can totally see Wild snapping due to his bottled stress and anger and exclaiming that he hates Sky.

(Plus let's be honest, we're all suckers for drama and forgiveness arcs)

Choctaw Indian Pony -

“Researching the history of the Choctaw horse (pronounced CHOCK-taw)—also known as the Choctaw Indian Pony—is like tracing the delicate lines of a once colorful thread woven throughout a time-worn and fading tapestry. I was transfixed, awed, enchanted and, at times, deeply saddened as the fabric of this endangered breed’s story unraveled before me, most of it left out of our school history curriculums…The Choctaw horse is a Colonial Spanish horse, though you will rarely hear them referred to by this name. Easily confused with the wild horses the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) oversees, they are often called “mustangs,” a term frequently and indiscriminately conferred on any feral horse of any genetic background. Today, only a very small number of feral horses (mustangs) bear the true Spanish type and breeding. Overall, Colonial Spanish horses of all bloodlines number about 3,000, while the total number of pure Choctaw horses is only about 250 animals.  The surviving Colonial Spanish Choctaw horses, however, are proven to be direct descendants of horses brought to the New World in the 1500s by the Spanish Conquistadors. Dr. Phillip Sponenberg, Professor of Pathology and Genetics at Virginia Tech University has devoted much of the last thirty years to ensuring the genetic integrity of the breed’s survival. “Colonial Spanish Horses are of great historic importance and are one of only a very few genetically unique horse breeds worldwide. Choctaw horses are one of a handful of distinct Native American tribal strains of Colonial Spanish Horse that are surviving by a thin thread,” he explains. The mythology of the Choctaw horse is complex, romantic and heart-rending.

While it may seem strange to envision Native Americans without horses, it wasn’t until the 1600s that indigenous Americans living in the deep South first encountered the animals. Hernando de soto and his invading Spaniards, searching for the mythical Seven Cities of Cibola (rumored to be overflowing with gold and riches) were the first to ride horses into Mississippi. The local Choctaw people dubbed the mysterious animals “spirit dogs.”  The seemingly friendly Spaniards soon proved otherwise. In the ensuing struggles, the brave and noble Choctaw managed to retain their rightful land and avoid enslavement—and they acquired a few of the Spaniards “spirit dogs,” as well.

In addition to horses, the Spanish also introduced cattle, goats, sheep and hogs to the native population. The Choctaw soon became adept at raising livestock, and the “spirit dogs” quickly became an integral part of the Choctaw culture. The characteristics and traits of the small and sturdy horses facilitated their deep integration into tribal life. They were athletic and possessed great endurance, with sound legs and tough hooves. Despite their smaller stature of 13.2-14.3 hands, the horses were able to carry a 200 plus pound man in 50 and 100 mile races. The equines quiet, people-oriented dispositions endeared them to the Choctaw and the animals soon became indispensable in hunting and farming.

Interestingly, the Choctaw women were considered “keepers of the horse,” according to screenwriter John Fusco whose movie Hidalgo was the story of Frank Hopkins and his Indian pinto pony.

‘The men did the hunting and it was their wives’ task to track and locate the kill on horseback, with little more than a broken twig here and there to mark the trail. On her sunset-and cornsilk-colored pony the Choctaw Woman would ride into a tangled maze of indigo bush and brambles, follow the trail without breaking gait, and locate the gift deer. Even five moons pregnant it didn’t matter; her Choctaw pony was born gaited, like riding a cloud. With her knife she’d dress the deer and sling the heavy meat up across the packsaddle. Laying some tobacco in gratitude, she’d remount and start for home.’

For three hundred years the Choctaw lived peaceably as accomplished agriculturalists and by the 1800s had developed a lucrative trade network with the areas that would later become Texas and Oklahoma, a feat which traveling on horseback had made possible. The high quality of their livestock, horses in particular, had become legendary, written about in travels journals of the era, including those of Lewis and Clark.

The Choctaw continued to prosper as a nation until Andrew Jackson signed the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek in September of 1830, proclaimed in February 1831, designating Oklahoma ‘Indian Territory.’ Thousands of Choctaw were forced at gunpoint to leave their beloved homeland in what was termed the ‘Relocation.’

Leaving their ancestral farms and forests to make way for Anglo plantation owners, they marched on foot (often barefoot) along what would come to be known as the Trail of Tears. Their loyal horses, with small bells tinkling like wind chimes fastened to their manes, carried children, the old and infirm through extremely cold weather and blizzards.

It is thought that as many as 4,000-5,000 of the 16,000 native people forced to relocate perished along the route. The tribe would prove resilient in the new territory until the Civil War and then, finally, Oklahoma’s statehood in 1907, when their nation would cease to exist as a separate entity. Tragically, their beloved horses did not fare as well.

The US Government sanctioned the extermination of the Indian horses in an effort to more easily force the Indians onto reservations. Because the Native American’s horses were of spiritual significance in the tribal culture (as was the land), confiscating them was a strategy to break the tribe’s spirit. But the fleet-footed ponies proved hard to catch. And unbeknownst to the cavalry, a handful of families in isolated pockets on the reservations sought to preserve the ancestral bloodlines, guarding and breeding their prized horses.

By the turn of the century, the handful of Choctaw  horses remaining sported long Spanish manes and came in a variety of colors: line-backed dun, varnish roan, blacks and bays and leopards among them. They were intelligent and possessed uncanny cow sense, a constitution that could survive on scrub grass, and a “butter smooth” ride. But by 1950 most of the Choctaw elders had passed on—and along with them the esoteric wisdom and zeal for preserving the rare pedigreed ponies that had accompanied them through times both good and bad.

Then another challenge arose: the US. Government imposed the Tick Eradication Program, ordering every wild pony in Oklahoma to be shot. A twist of fate in the form of a young cowboy named Gilbert H. Jones would turn the tables in the breed’s favor. G. H. Jones had a life-long passion for pure Spanish mustangs (now called Spanish Colonial Horses). He left New Mexico because his horses were being slaughtered by neighbors for their meat, and he had only one remaining stallion.    

Moving into the Kiamichi Mountains in southeastern Oklahoma, he obtained grazing permits from a local timber company and with the help of a friend, Robert Brislawn, began the process of rebuilding a pure Colonial Spanish Horse herd.

Jones happened upon some Choctaw elders who respected the young white man’s dedication and helped him acquire several Choctaw mares and an additional stallion—an impressive buckskin and white pinto named “Rooster.” Rooster’s ancestry could be traced directly back to the Trail of Tears. Jones’ restoration of a small herd of Choctaw horses had begun.

Savvy and industrious, Jones had become aware of Frank T. Hopkins. Hopkins and his Indian pony Hidalgo (the inspiration for the 2004 motion picture) had demonstrated the breed’s merits through long endurance races, and Jones aimed to do the same. Between long trail rides and brutal endurance events, Rooster’s bloodlines eventually became legendary.

By the 1980’s, Jones’s herd numbered close to one hundred pure horses. Jones continued to work tirelessly to preserve the Choctaw Indian Pony well into his elderly years. He died in 2000 at the age of 93, passing down his research and conservation work to Bryant and Darlene Rickman, who still breed and preserve Jones’ horses on his original land.

Dr. Phillip Sponenberg works closely with the Rickmans, contributing his advanced genetic research, as well as serving as Technical Advisor for the ALBC (American Livestock Breeds Conservancy). Dr. Sponenberg also serves as an Advisor to Red Road Farm and the Choctaw Indian Conservation Program, founded by the writer and filmmaker who made the Disney movie Hidalgo: John Fusco.” - Cowgirl Magazine

(I would die for this fic. I know the summary sounds doom and gloom but IT'S NOT. This fic made me fucking cry, I don't think I've ever read a fic that characterized Naruto so right. He's so full of hope and love and develops into the best version of himself and I'm so HERE FOR IT. And it's not just Naruto, Shikamaru is absolutely amazing here along with Kakashi and surprise surprise Ino, I can't BELIEVE it took me this long to stumble across this fic. (Same author as the one above, they are the gift that keeps on giving. Seriously, HOW did I NEVER FIND THESE FICS before now??? One of life's greatest mysteries. The author's sense of humor is so on point here along with the atmospheric writing that's so vivid in the mind. Their writing style is so recognizable to me now and makes me fall into the world they're creating, it's stunning. Aka: Future Sasuke goes to Past Sasuke and gives him a reality check with Specific Intentions, but as with most Uchiha, his methods leave much to be desired. (Featuring: Childhood trauma FTW, Konoha's shitty care of orphans, and absolutely no one having a fun time.)

(Sasuke wanting to change the future out of complete and utter spite has me LIVING. Sasuke is such a Mess here and the twist on the time travel premise is so good and the kid is so Traumatized and Desperate and Not Having A Good Time. Naruto and Sakura developing as better ninjas and Kakashi trying his best makes me want to scream. Also, how Sasuke thinks about Itachi makes me want to cackle. I am 100% down for this. I am rooting for this kid, go get them! XD)

(This is the greatest hp fic I've ever read. I LOVE RON WEASLEY and by the time you read this fic SO WILL YOU!! This is the fic I WISH I have the ability to write. I read this entire fic aloud to my brother and we spent literal hours howling and talking about how utterly insane and incredible this fic is, it's amazing. Takenaka Hideo is a thirty-two year old, in mild desperation for money, who has just been hired as a new janitor for UA's support staff. He has a quirk that lets him find lost objects, a liaison with the police because of it, and desperate desire for competent co-workers.

Oh, and he's already lived a previous life, in a world where quirks and heroes didn't even exist.

Not a big deal, though. It's not like you ever see the janitor playing a big part in action movies. He's here to get paid, and that's it.

On the opposite side of the equation, class 1-A has to wonder at the new UA cryptid that always seems to show up when things are on fire, and who keeps trying to convince them to let the adults handle the fire extinguisher.

(A great deal of fun packed into one fic. That is how I title this fic and nothing will change my mind! Hideo just wants to quietly do his job and not get in the way. I Relate. Please read!)

And the OC character and all the hijinks they get up to cracks me up! At the same time, it's pretty heartwarming and it's practically a friendships galore fic! Definitely recommend it!)

That he’d been passed along a line to get his blessings – genius, willpower, fearless ambition – and dropped off on earth.

Then, of course, there is the question of Deku. The spitfire runt. Deku, no matter what the world does to him, never stops hoping.

Until, of course, he eventually does.

(Katsuki broke him. Snapped him in half like a twig and now has to scramble to put Deku back together. “We can do this, Deku," he says slowly. "There are so many mysteries that never got put to bed. Criminals roaming around looking to hurt people and you and me, we can fix that.”

There’s a long pause. The comforter slips a little off Deku’s skinny shoulders and drowns him. “You mean like a team?”

In that split second, Katsuki makes a decision he’s never even considered. He swallows his pride. “Yeah, Deku. We’d be a team.”)

(If there was any other way canon could've gone, this is the story I would've wanted. It's perfect.)

(This fic is so soft and Steve is just collecting people and winning them over with his magical food (literally). I am always a sucker for heartwarming, good for the soul fics so if you want to make yourself hungry and feel all warm and gooey inside, read this!)

Billy laughs then, loud and long and unhinged. It's the only sound in the whole house, and it bounces off the walls like a fucked up echo, like the world is laughing with him.

“Jesus christ you’re insane…” It’s Max’s voice and it’s shaking. It only makes Billy laugh harder, because Max has it all wrong. Billy isn’t crazy, it’s the rest of the world that’s insane.

Billy dies a hero of sorts. He wakes up back in his bed on Saturday morning, the third of November, 1984...nearly nine months earlier.

(Billy is stuck in a time loop and it's slowly driving him crazy. And the fic shows just how much influence Billy did have in the plot and how doomed the world is without him in it. Great character exploration with Billy's character and all the ways he's so messy and human. Definitely recommend it!)

A Natsu-centric story featuring: Shiratorizawa VBC shenanigans, too many soccer OCs, mild teenage drama, a little bit of plot, and Semi Eita not knowing what a period is.

(It's just!! So cute and wholesome!!! The Shiratorizawa volleyball team is so fleshed out along with the OC characters for the girl's soccer team and I swear, it's been a long while since I've laughed this much at the sheer shenanigans that happen in a fic. It's surprisingly hard to find good gen fics in this fandom so finding this gem made me so happy! If you want a fic that brings a smile to your face, read this!!)

(The fact this fic is canon-compliant and covers post-canon too makes me want to shout to the heavens. Fucking incredible! One of the best Oikakage fics ever and it's a crime how it's not at the top of the ship tag. Please please read!!)

And the fic does that thing, you know, the Thing where when two worlds collide, the characters struggle to acclimate and adapt to a completely another world with different rules and mindsets against their own. This fic is seriously one of the best when it comes to that aspect, it's incredible. I am going absolutely feral over here for this fic to update, I'm waiting in the wings, ready to pounce like a tiger, all the metaphors man. For the love of god, read this fic.)

(Before this fic, I only had a very vague idea of what Natsume's Book of Friends was, and honestly, I still don't know much about it. But I didn't really need to know to get into this fic. I love the worldbuilding and the relationships Kakashi forms, both supernatural and mortal. I love how Kakashi's inhumane ways affect others around him, whether to stress them out or become used to the strange. You can go straight into this fic without knowing anything and absolutely still have a fantastic time. I definitely recommend this so please read!)
