K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

-> you know i gotta say wiwi. i have to. that character was Made For Me i swear to GOD . genuinely i cannot think about prime defenders season 2 episode 39 without feeling physically sick bc i love it so much. its the only one i havent relistened to since i heard it the first time. i KNOW its gonna make me cry again so i genuienly have not touched it even though theres things in there i need to hear again for character research. his arc is so like. narratively satisfying in a way that hits me so fucking deep to my core in an extremely personal way. and like. there were definitely some Decisions that i was REALLY ANNOYING about hating when they were brought up because im used to media with bad storytelling/creators that do not care about their characters but. looking back on it i would not change a single thing about it. i love you wiwi so much.

No it's not. The rules to being a man and passing as a men as strict as lots of rules for women. Have you ever seen a cis guys who fails to pass? They're called names, theyre physically beat, and theyre often ostracized from their cis peers just as fast as any trans person. Cis boys cant even pass half the time by the rules they made. Quit fucking lying about men just magically having it so easy.

Your experiences as passing as a man aren't universal and if you've never passed as one what makes you think it's fucking easy?

Also god forbid you're a black man, or a black man who is into something deemed feminine. Shit I've seen guys call black men women for wearing a damn hair bonnet.

Oh not to mention I'm only a man to transphobes when they can call me a "dangerous black man" only to switch back to tryibg to detransition me by saying "you can just be a masc girl!"

2.Adams apple

While you have to hide yours, I have to wear shit that distracts people that I *don't* have one. Cause, and I know this is wild, if they expect you not to have one for being a women, what do they expect me to have for being a man? Hmm? And if you're a man who's adams apple never came in? I've seen them called girls to. Shit I've heard a guy called not manly for missing his, and he was still in puberty!!

3.Shoulders

While you have to hide you shoulders, I have to do whatever I can to have the.. small shoulders on men? maybe if youre in a "non manly" field like music or art, but I do gym work. I better look likeit regardless of the disability that effacts my muscles growth and development or I am called maam by every guy there. Which sucks btw.

4. Makeup and voice acting:

Trans men also are regularly advised to wear makeup that masculinizes them and do voice training. thats some of our oldest passing tips. thats litterally never been unique to trans women. what the FUCK kinda of implications are you trying to put out here?

5. Murder:

Hey did you know cis guys will murder trans men bc they were attracted to them and then found out they werent "real men" and then kill them. shit cis women also kill us if they find out they were attracted to us and we aren't their ideal man anymore. do u know how men who hear im butch and into women behave?

Fuck right the fuck off trying to tokenize the murder lf trans women while throwing trans men murders in the "that doesn't happen" bin.

6. How many times have we said short hair and no boobs dont fucking automatically gets us gendered correcly!! We have voices that have to be trained, we have muscles were expected to build,and some men even watch the way you walk to guess if you have a dick or not.

Untrue! just Untrue. we also have to preform the rules of manhood really well. ive seen beareded transmen clocked for like so many different other reasons and you wouldn't listen to those men if it would save all trans people lives forever. cis men constantly dig at other men presentation to keep each other in line. Also: not all of want to pass with those features. I deserve to have long hair and not bind and still pass as a man and you suck for defining everything around passing.

8. I don't know why you insist on this idea that trans women never really pass without obscene work (when ive met trans women that admit they have it easy by throwing on a dress and wearing her hair down) and that all trans men who have ascess to transition magically do pass (When multiple of us transitioning have said we dont)

If we can't talk about the ones who don't pass then you kinda can just sweep away the idea we don't face discrimination or danger and that's getting us killed actually.

None of us have said we can all never really pass any who say they can't are usually speaking on their own experiences. Because you want us all to pass so bad you don't care that we don't, and that it gets us backlash and hurt.

Hi pat!!!! yes you got the name right, the name is Dead Boy Detectives!

The premise is that the dead boy detectives (Edwin Payne/Paine and Charles Rowland) run a detective agency solving supernatural mysteries/problems that are supernatural in origin. One day in 2023/4 they get a case to exorcise a demon from a living psychic named Crystal Palace.

However, something went wrong and now Crystal is missing her memories. Crystal then drags them to the US of A to save a little girl from a witch! They then get stuck in Port Townsend bc of Edwin and the trickster Cat King.

They meet many more beloved characters such as Niko, Crystals rent buddy, Jenny the Butch(er), and Monty! There are other characters in the show that are just as fun but these are some of them! More under the cut.

What I really like about this show is that it's fun but also has some serious scenes as well, both physically and emotionally. The show grows the characters organically, from the main characters and even to the side characters as well.

It is also explicitly queer. Not even in a subtle, teasing way-no. Part of Edwin's arc is accepting himself as a qay man, Jenny goes on a lesbian date, the Cat King is himself. Not to mention the undertones of the other characters, such as Charles, Crystal and Niko which are often read as queer/have very queer undertones that will (hopefully, if netflix renews the show) get explored in season 2.

Also the themes of the are wonderful, of how the good you put into the world will come around to help you being the main one, along with accepting yourself, the good and the bad, can only make you more complete.

I should also mention that the women in the show are written with the same thought and care as the men are. The women are allowed to be mean and rude and wrong and they are not more punished/condemned for it more than the men are. They are allowed to have meaningful character arcs and grow and have characters that are just as wonderful as they are bright.

You can find it on Netflix and its a wonderful show that I think that you will like when you are able to pick it up!

Okay so on a scale of 0 (cuddle hater) to 10 (cuddle expert), here is the cast of Pride & Justice

Pride: 7/10 on a good day and 2/10 on a bad day. His emotional issues make it so he either wants attention all the time from everyone or or has an "if you touch me I'll bite your fingers off" level of touch-aversion. When he's in the mood, he will plop himself into your lap for cuddles whether you like it or not, and it's only like 60% of the time because he wants to have sex. On a bad day, he'll avoid touch even if he really wants it (which is why the score is 2 and not 0). Sometimes he'll be able to crawl out of his shell to lay his head on your shoulder, but only rarely.

Justice: 10/10 on any day of the week, Justice loves cuddles and cuddles love him back. He's a very physically affectionate person (if you're okay with it, of course), and can span the range from gentle headpats to ultimate bear hug. He's very warm and large, and he'll definitely fall asleep.

Honesty: 0/10 but also why would you want to cuddle her. She's a strict authoritarian who's only goal is to bring down Enemies of The Lord. She doesn't have time for cuddles.

Lust: 5/10 because Lust is only going to cuddle if it turns into sex and after that you're getting kicked out of bed immediately. It also chose the form of a lifelike sex doll, so if you're into that, I guess it would be a good time.

Kindness: Another 10/10 cuddle master. Kindness' cuddles have the vibes of... mom hugs, your favorite aunt hugs, big sister hugs, "best friend from middle school you lost touch with but still think about sometimes" hugs. You're gonna feel like crying for a loss you never knew you needed to grieve. She'll pet your hair the whole time.

Ollie: 8/10 butch cuddles are chicken soup for the soul. Ollie likes cuddling while laying down and doing other stuff (watching TV, playing a game, etc.) so it might take a few minutes to find an optimally comfortable position. The best way I can describe her body type is a bit fatter than this woman here, so very soft, very comfortable. However, your limbs will risk falling asleep, because she's not moving.

Sofía: 6/10 because she's going to insist on snuggling with her cat, Marbles, and will jump up and run away to go get him if he leaves. Other than that, Sofía is a cuddly little catgirl herself, if fidgety.

Dante: 4/10 on a good day. Dante is cool with long--ish hugs, arm-around-shoulders, head-on-shoulders, but that's the extent of their touch tolerance. They don't want to do a full-body cuddle, sorry not sorry!
