this is a bit of a MESSY rant so it may not make sense but I just HAVE to try and get all of this annoyance out when it comes to my girl. because I have had a month to sit on it and I'm actually angry

see, as much as I adore gamora and should be happy for the variant because she's still technically my baby, it's hard to be happy for her or to like her, even.

and when it comes down to her new found family? ohoho I'm still just a bit miffed about that. I mean, it's with the ravagers of all people???

I mean I've always trusted James with these characters and I have adored her ever since 2014 the day vol.1 came out, but this was just so random and doesn't really make a lot of sense to me? I guess what would have been nice and would have made it less of a weird thing for me is if we were actually given a reason as to why she calls the ravagers her "people"... because come on, they're not and UGH

I mean at the end of the day, these are the ravagers who our gamora had no respect for

see, gamora is not perfect in any way and she knows this herself, but she does look down on people like ravagers and junkers etc etc. there's this sort of hierarchy in her head, with or without being beside Thanos.

it was there in vol.1, but not so much in vol.2. tbh she only had respect for yondu because of what he did for Peter. But still. her becoming a ravager??? idk??? it sort of doesn't fit??? and I have to agree with Quill on that one, especially when he told this variant something along the lines of "old you would have never become one of them" or whatever he said when they returned to the Bowie after escaping Orgocorp.

I know, I know. these Gamora variants are different, but they're surely the same at the core? when we saw this version of gamora in endgame, she was very close to our gamora and was nothing like this new one - exactly how you would have thought she would have been pre-vol.1

and I knew that gamora could be a bitch, but never this bad... during the first time I went to see vol.3, I was sat there and I just wanted to slap her quite honestly. I get the whole "ravager" attitude but it just completely took over her whole personality and I just didn't quite recognise the character I was watching.

I could understand when nebula made that comment about how people thought she was bad when Gamora was like this all along, but when you rewatch not even just endgame, but vol.1 and vol.2 it's very much like ?????

it's almost like the Gamora we got in vol.3 is completely different to what we got in endgame, really... even though they're supposed to literally be the same version of her. like what the fuck happened to her between endgame and vol.3? like girl who hurt you-

BUT IM NOT ABOUT TO SAY THIS BC STARMORA HAS BEEN ONE OF MY MAIN SHIPS BUT that ending with this Gamora and Peter? I knew she wasn't going to stay, her walking away when everyone was hugging made that obvious. But when she said to him "I'm still not the person you want me to be", and he replied with the "yeah, but who you are ain't so bad either." I'm kind of sat here now after thinking about it like Peter how do you know? you two have just spent basically all of your screen time together arguing and being upset. and with her not wanting to go back and help save the animals with the rest of them and then only doing it in the end pretty much because she felt she had to, this gamora hadn't really shown that she wasn't "that bad"? she was just so against everything, there wasn't really a lot of "good" to her for me to even really justify him saying that.

but yessssss I know this variant is supposed to be completely different to our Gamora, and in Zoe's words this new Gamora is "wild", "very independent", and has a "spunk to her that Gamora never really had". but man, I was just actually annoyed... I don't even know how to explain it...

MCU Timeline. Avengers: Infinity War

At the dawn of the universe - nothing.

The Big Bang - formation of the six Infinity Stones.

~500 or 964/965 AD - Thor is born.

Now we have this contradiction: the first Thor movie and all the MCU books tell us he was born in 964 or 965 AD, and this is the only time he says he's 1,500 years old. He could have rounded it up, or it could have been a mistake (like his mispronunciation of "Nidavellir") - pick your favorite explanation.

Early 1945 - during a fight with Steve Rogers, the Red Skull touches the Tesseract, and the Space Stone within it finds him unworthy and sends him to Vormir to serve as a guide for those seeking the Soul Stone.

Early 1990s - Gamora is born on the planet Zen-Whoberi.

~1999 - Thanos kills half of the population of Zen-Whoberi and kidnaps little Gamora, whose parents his army had just executed.

Between the fall of 2014 and May 2018:

Nebula sneaks onto Thanos's ship and attempts to kill him. She almost succeeds, but Thanos captures her.

He takes her to a cell, accesses her memory files, where Gamora mentions that she knows where the Soul Stone is, and then proceeds to torture her.

Between November 2013 and May 2018 - Thanos arrives on Nidavellir and orders Eitri to make him the Infinity Gauntlet. Once it is made, he shuts down the forge and kills all of Nidavellir's dwarves except Eitri, whom he deprives of his hands.

Beginning of June 2016 - with the help of Rogers and Romanoff, Maximoff and Wilson escape from the Raft. Scott Lang and Clint Barton make a deal with the US and German governments to remain under house arrest instead of going into hiding.

~June 2016 - Wanda and Vision start dating.

Okay, here’s the thing about the main event date: it depends on the city. Literally. If we’re in New York, it looks like mid-May, if we’re in Atlanta or Edinburgh, I’d say March. They don’t really go together, so we’ll have to pick one. Considering other movies like Ant-Man and the Wasp and Thor: Ragnarok, our pick should be mid-May 2018.

Can we narrow this down to days? Let's try:

If the calendar here is the same as ours, which is not always the case. But let's assume that it is.

There is also a contradiction in the film regarding the day of the week (Wednesday vs. Tuesday) for the first day. Now there is no hint as to which one we should choose. But as with the month, I assume that what happens in New York is closer to the truth, so I will choose Wednesday.

In mid-May we also have two options: the second week (May 9) and the third (May 16).

So, in What If? S1E5, there's a direct mention that it's been two weeks since Hank went into the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp (May 2), so it must be May 16. What If often makes mistakes, and later in the same episode, it makes an obvious one, but if it works in this case, let's go with that option.

~May 2, 2018 - Vision promises Tony that he will return, turns off his transponder, and leaves with Wanda for Scotland for a two-week vacation.

~May 9, 2018 - Thanos decimates Xandar and takes the Power Stone.

May 15 (Tuesday), 2018. Night - Tony dreams that he and Pepper are having a baby, Morgan.

May 16 (Wednesday), 2018

~11 am - 12 pm in NY:

Thanos attacks the Asgardian refugee ship Statesman and seizes the Space Stone.

Hulk fights Thanos but is easily defeated. Heimdall teleports him to Earth.

The death of half of Asgard's refugees, Heimdall and Loki.

Thanos sends his Black Order to search for the two Infinity Stones on Earth.

Thor is left unconscious in outer space among dead bodies.

Hulk crashes through the roof and stairs of the Sanctum Sanctorum and transforms back into Bruce. He informs Strange and Wong of the impending threat.

Tony and Pepper are running in New York's Central Park. Tony tells Pepper about his dream and asks her for a baby.

They are interrupted by the arrival of Strange and Banner, who take Tony away to save the world.

~1 pm in NY:

Wong gives Tony a lecture about the Infinity Stones. Strange reveals the Time Stone in his necklace. Bruce informs Tony of the situation and that behind the attack on New York in 2012 was also Thanos.

1:20 pm - Bruce tells Tony to call Steve Rogers. Tony tells Bruce that the Avengers have broken up.

Before he can make the call, a Black Order Q-ship arrives above them.

Peter Parker jumps off a school bus headed to MoMA and rushes to the ship's location.

Tony, Strange, Wong and Peter fight Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian. Hulk refuses to come out.

Wong saves Tony by sending Cull Obsidian onto a glacier. He also cuts off his hand. Tony invites him to Pepperony's wedding.

Maw captures Strange and takes him to the Q-Ship.

Peter follows outside. Tony saves him by putting the Iron Spider suit on him. He sends him home, but Peter manages to cling to the ship and get inside.

Tony gets on the ship and tells Pepper that he won't be back for a while.

Wong returns to Sanctum.

1:42 pm - Bruce calls Steve on the phone Tony dropped.

Having received a distress signal from the Statesman, the Guardians of the Galaxy pick up Thor.

~2 pm in NY:

Gamora tells him about Thanos' plan. Thor takes some of their food, Quill's backpack, a pod and goes to Nidavellir with Rocket and Groot.

The rest of the team heads to Knowhere, where the Collector keeps the Reality Stone.

~Unspecified time, afternoon in NY:

Strange wakes up on the Q-Ship, and Maw begins torturing him with needles to obtain the Time Stone.

A rescue team (Tony, Peter and Levi) gathers above them. Peter comes up with a plan from Aliens.

Minutes later - Tony kills Maw by blowing a hole in the ship.

Tony and Steven argue over a course of action and agree to bring the fight with Thanos to Titan.

Tony makes Peter an Avenger.

~6 pm in NY:

~6:30 pm (NY)/11:30 pm (Scotland) - Wanda and Vision are walking through the streets of Edinburgh when they are attacked by Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight of the Black Order. Vision is injured and his powers are suppressed.

6:45 pm (NY)/11:45 pm (Scotland) - they are saved by the arriving Rogues: Rogers, Romanoff and Wilson. Proxima and the injured Glaive retreat. The Rogues take Wanda and Vision back to the Compound.

~Night in NY:

In space, Gamora asks Quill to kill her if Thanos captures her, so that the Titan will not learn the location of the Soul Stone. He vows to do so. They kiss.

By this time, the "invisible" Drax has been standing "motionless" for an hour and eating snacks.

Thanos attacks Knowhere and obtains the Reality Stone from the Collector. He then sets a trap for Gamora using the stone.

May 17 (Thursday), 2018

~Before 7 am in NY:

Rocket gives Thor a cybernetic eye.

GotG arrives on Knowhere. Using the Reality Stone, Thanos easily deals with them and captures Gamora.

GotG return to Benatar, where Quill spends the next five hours sitting and listening to New York Groove.

Aboard his mothership, Thanos shows Gamora her captive sister and tortures Nebula to reveal the location of the Soul Stone.

Thanos takes Gamora with him to Vormir.

While a Chitauri is putting Nebula back together, she kills him and escapes. She sends 23 secret coded messages to GotG asking them to meet her on Titan.

Five hours after Thanos captured Gamora - GotG finally receive Nebula's secret coded messages and travel from Knowhere to Titan.

~7 am in NY/1 pm in Wakanda:

Rogues arrive at the Compound. Rhodey talks to Secretary Ross, who orders him to arrest them. Rhodes waves him off.

The Avengers discuss the situation. Vision tells them that Wanda must destroy the stone in his head. Bruce gets the idea that simply taking it out might work. They head to Wakanda to do it and call T'Challa.

Okoye gathers Wakandan warriors.

T'Challa comes for Bucky Barnes and brings him a new vibranium arm.

Thor, Groot, and Rocket reach Nidavellir and meet with Eitri.

~8 am in NY:

Q-ship carrying Tony, Peter and Strange lands on Titan.

They are immediately attacked by GotG. After a short fight due to a misunderstanding, they form an alliance against Thanos.

Strange uses the Time Stone to see 14,000,605 alternate futures and finds only one winning.

Thanos and Gamora arrive on Vormir, where they are met by the Red Skull. Thanos throws his "daughter" off a cliff for the Soul Stone.

He wakes up with the Stone in his hand.

~9-10 am in NY/3-4 pm in Wakanda:

~9:30 am/3:30 pm - the Quinjet carrying the Rogues, Rhodes, Vision, and Banner arrives in Wakanda, where they are met by T'Challa, his warriors, and Barnes.

Note: The main functional feature of quinjets is that they fly exactly as long as the plot requires, and not as long as they would fly in reality. This is not the first Avengers movie where yesterday it flew to the States all night, and today it took the jet a couple of hours to cover about twice that distance.

~10 am/4 pm - Shuri begins working on Vision and the Mind Stone. Thanos' army enters the planet's atmosphere above Wakanda.

On Nidavellir, Thor, Rocket, Groot, and Eitri restart the forge to create a new weapon, Stormbreaker.

The Battle of Titan.

With five Stones, Thanos teleports to Wakanda. Having not met any worthy resistance for himself, Thanos takes the last Stone from Vision.

10:24 am/4:24 pm - The Snap.

Thanos meets little Gamora in the Soul Stone and then teleports to his garden world to retire in peace.

10:25 am/4:25 pm - 50% of all living beings in the Universe disappear from reality.

Nick Fury manages to send an SOS signal to Captain Marvel's pager before turning to dust.

Note: Does Marvel want to explain why Edinburgh and Atlanta look more like it's winter, while in New York it's almost summer?

Tony and Nebula are left alone on Titan.

~Later that day:

At some point, they depart for Earth on the Benatar.

The remaining Avengers return to the Compound to monitor losses.

Over the next few days:

They visit Fury's last location and find his pager, which they bring to the Compound.

Days later - Carol Danvers arrives at the Compound and soon after heads back into space to search for Tony.

Infinity Wars Emma Frost

Infinity Wars was a 2018 event comic that pretty nakedly attempted to cash in on the success of its MCU counterpart. It really sucks, but there's some fun Emma Frost moments.

It gets better, trust me.

When we first see her she's melded with Logan, because Gamora remixed Thanos and instead of killing half the universe she combined two souls into one on a grand scale. 'Diamond Patch' is literally just Logan that says darling a lot. Emma would hate this.

Loki explains the gibberish that led to this situation and a dull bad guy shows up to get stabbed.

Diamond Patch leans on some phoenix time travel nonsense to summon Phoenix Logan. Ugh. Duggan reused this 'message your future self' trick much more effectively in Cable 2020.

Great, The Phoenix saying 'bub' - the concept is truly dead. I feel a bit bad for exposing people to this, but the two are split and Logan exits the story. That must have taken some restraint.

Emma takes Charge and insists she the motorcycle with Loki on the back. As it should be.

She somehow stands up to Gamora with all the Infinity Stones/Gems and takes the Power Stone for herself. As the stone operates from the wielder's mastery of mind, Emma is king shit. I'm kinda surprised they didn't use the much more recognisable (and Omega telepath) Jean Grey for this, but I'm glad Emma gets to flex.

That's a terrible BDSM joke, I'm not sure it makes sense. Then again I'm ace, so maybe someone more experienced can confirm or deny.

Unsurprisingly, they (yeah Kang, Ant-Man and Kamala showed up) are betrayed by Loki. However, his scheme sucks and they win anyway. Adam Warlock arrives to delete this silly universe and all is well. I'm just here for The White Queen tbh.

You know, I was pretty glad we got this small scene. Throughout the majority of the film, Groot was pretty much just in the background, playing no real part in the story or interacting much with each of the characters - he was just there. And when it came to Gamora, it would have been nice to see how he would have interacted with her and what he was thinking and feeling.

Just like everyone else in the group, he lost Gamora too. And just like Quill, Groot also had a special kind of relationship with her; she was his mother.

When you watch through their scenes together in Volume 2, it's very clear to see that Gamora was a mother figure to Baby Groot. She looks out for him, she holds him and is more than happy to comfort him. She's there whenever he needs her.

I know you can only put so much in a movie, but I feel like Groot was done so dirty here? To see someone who he considered to be his mum look at him and not know who he was nor care for him must have really hurt. Their interaction before the very end of Volume 3 was not pleasant at all. Sure, she couldn't understand him but all she really did was shout at him. So, him approaching her at the end was sort of nice. He was really nervous to approach her and once she finally was able to understand him, perhaps he'd finally got some sort of closure for his grief. I wanted wanted more of that, just something that would be enough to subtly call back to the relationship he had with his Gamora.

I think overall it would have been nice to see a couple of more scenes with the two of them or even just a small interaction between the two earlier in the film so we could have a proper build up to them having a nice moment at the end. It would have had more of an impact.

Infinity Countdown (2018) #1

So new Avengers cast list just got announce and I'm back in my marvel fixation so let's talk about a crack theory I got.

I think the revealed cast list are the gonna be the characters that will die in Doomsday, and might even stay dead (with a few exceptions)

Let me explain my reasonings for this take:

This takes into account another theory that I love which is that RDJ's Doom is just a Doombot and we'll get an original Doctor Doom casting later for Secret Wars. This gives us Marvel an out from paying an arm, a leg and your firstborn child to RDJ for every Doom appearance.

This lets Marvel give they're take on these characters while not ignoring the existence of the originals. They could just say that they existed but now they're gone so here's our tak. This point is why I think that the Fantastic 4 won't be among the permanently dead group.

Lets them remove characters who are to controversial (Sam, and Shuri), actors whose contracts are way past due and want out (Thor (4 solo films, 4-5 non-solo films) Bucky (9 movies, 1 show)), actors to old to continue to play their roles (Magneto and Professor X) or characters that frankly don't matter to their future projects (The Thunderbolts and Nemor). Not that I'm saying that I want this to be the case with these characters, frankly I love tall the characters I named as examples, but MCU is owned by Disney and Diseny wants money and for fans to stop hating on them for their bad film making choices.

Lets Doom win, since by killing Loki off he wins and takes over the multiverse which will cause Secret Wars and will parallel Infinity War with the heroes' losing only to take the win in Endgame but on a much bigger scale. And also shows Doom as far more powerful than gods (Thor & Loki), Extremely Overpowered Mutatans (Mystic, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Gambit, etc), Genius Minds (Reed and Hank), Reality Benders (Bob/Sentry) and Mystical Martial Artists (Shang-chi), showing how big of a threat Doom really is.

So here's my prediction for the plot:

Sam forms the new Avengers while working with the Thunderbolts, while dealing with a situation, the Fox X-men Earth appear in the sky and threaten an incursion.

MCU characters and Fox X-Men find out about incursions from Dr. Strange (or America Chavez), and Monica Rambeau, respectively.

Then come together by meeting the Four who tells them that Doom is the one after the god of stories who holds the multiverse together revealing it to be Loki.

RDJ's Doom appears to be the real Doom in charge and is coming to kill Loki with his massive army that the combined forces of the X-men and new Avengers take down with Thor learning his lesson from Thanos and taking off RDJ's Doom's head only to discover that he was a Doombot and the real Doom had already killed Loki and stolen his power.

This leads to the Real Doom changing reality and killing all the heroes with the help of either Dr. Strange or Wanda Maximoff. Leaning towards Wanda especially.

The only exceptions are Reverse-Time Hiest Steve Rogers who is protected by the fact he was Time traveling, Tom Holland Spiderman because he is MCU's anchor being and no one knows who he is, Natasha and 2018 Gamora who are out of the equation due to the soul stone claiming their lives, Clint (especially if it's Wanda helping Doom) due to his "insignificant", the Young Avengers (America, Kamala, Billy, Tommy, Hulking, Kate Bishop, etc.) because reasons (could be Agatha Protecting Billy and getting the rest involved, could be America being a universal constant, could be anything really), White Vision - again also because of Wanda but could also because Doom might see him useful and not really care that he was alive, and Quill who is protected by being part celestial.

This is just a prediciton but I think it's pretty good. Why don't you give your opinion in reblogs and comments.

How Groot got his speech back

The Guardians of the Galaxy and Nova confront Gardener the Elder of the Universe who is responsible for the Flora Colossi attack and Groot's shrunken state. Star-Lord throws Little Groot and Ant-Man as a tag team attack. Star-Lord, Gamora and Nova join in to attack the Gardener but the Elder shakes them off. When Gardener yells at them, he gets blasted by Rocket Raccoon. Little Groot jumps in and leaps atop of Gardener's chest when he’s down and speaks to him at length, finally transferring his own life energy into him to make him realize that Loki poisoned him. Now healed and back to normal, Gardener in turn revives Groot, making him full grown again and fully articulate. As the Guardians are impressed with this change, Groot turns to battle the other Flora Colossus.

Long story ahead....

The Gardener was approached by Loki to inquire him about the location of the Soul Stone. Even though the Gardener didn't know its location, Loki poisoned him and drove him mad, making him become paranoid for the desecration of his work by the hand of the advanced societies of the cosmos. Because of this, the Gardener attacked one of the last Flora colossi, the Guardian of the Galaxy Groot, and shattered him. He took all but one of the creature's splinters, and grew an army of violent and morbid Flora colossus. The Gardener first used his army to attack and overrun the planet Telferina. The army was intercepted by the Guardians of the Galaxy, among whom was Groot, who had managed to regrow his body from a splinter, but since his other remains had been grown into evil doppelgangers, he couldn't reach full size. When Groot managed to get close enough to the Gardener, he used his powers to cleanse his body of Loki's poison. With his sanity restored, the Gardener came to his senses, and his first action was to heal Groot's body, thus bringing him back to his original form in the process

The next day had passed uneventfully in total. You all hung out in a secluded part of the beach, playing the radio to loud. You and Elizabeth played old songs- old meaning between 2003 and 2018. Your soulmates had laughed as you two as sung along to 'Something just like This.'

Now, you were standing in Natasha and Bruce's room with Wanda, Shuri, Okoye, Carol, and Gamora as they all tried to fix you up in your wedding dress, get your makeup and hair done, and overall just prepare you for your wedding.

You hadn't seen any of your soulmates today. Maria, May, and Pepper were getting the boys sorted and organized, making last adjustments to their suits and everything in between.

"Stop fidgeting." Okoye demanded.

Damn the woman was scary. You froze in your seat while Shuri finished doing your makeup. After about an hour and a half, you were completely ready for this wedding.

You stood up, before Shuri handed you a bouquet of eleven roses. Each one matched the colour or colours of your soulmates- even though some of them had to be dyed.

Wong showed up to portal all of you down to the beach. You could hear everyone out on the actual beach, probably sitting under the constructed white pavilion that Tony had ordered should be put up so that they didn't have to sit in the sun, and fans would gently blow cool air down on all of you.

Your stomach twisted with nervous butterflies. Cassie and Morgan started wandering forward, your four bridesmaids quickly following as the music hit the right note.

You licked your lips, taking Wong's arm as he walked you down the aisle.

You could see your soulmates waiting, standing in a circle with one spot left open for you.

Loki was dressed in a green suit with a white shirt and a gold tie. His black hair had been pulled back into a man bun.

T'Challa was wearing traditional black robes with silver lining. He also had some white dots across his face, placed slightly strategically, though you didn't know what they meant. Probably something to do with marriage naturally.

Fury. . . wow it was the first time you'd seen him in something other than his black trench coat. He was wearing a light brown suit with a white shirt and a striped tie.

Rhodey was wearing a blue suit with a white shirt and a black tie. He looked slender and fit, smiling easily as you walked down the aisle.

Clint was wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a purple tie. His grin was stretched from ear to ear as he watched you walk towards him.

Steve was wearing his military uniform. A simple olive green colour with a few badges over his left pocket, only one over the right. His shirt matched the suit, the tie a light shade of yellow.

Bucky was also wearing his military uniform, looking absolutely delicious. There was a tight brown belt around his midriff. The uniform was a tan colour with a tie that matched Steve's. His cap was perched jauntily on his head and he was wearing a huge grin on his face.

Sam was wearing almost a minty green that was so minty green it almost looked grey suit, with white dress shirt and a silver tie. His lips were pursed, a small smile there as he kept his hands in his pants pockets.

Thor was wearing a deep, almost inky black suit, complete with a black dress shirt and tie. And he said Loki dressed like a witch when he wore all black. Actually, Thor really looked good in the outfit with his hair cropped short.

Tony was wearing a grey and black striped shirt, the cuffs of his sleeves outlined with delicately stitched lining of red and blue. His shirt was white and his tied was gold and silver striped. His hair was messy, like it always was, and his glasses were in the front breast pocket.

Stephen was the last one, standing between the empty space and Tony. He was wearing a blue suit, white dress shirt, and black tie, all of the colours bringing out both the white streaks in his hair, and his blue eyes which seemed even brighter. He winked at you, your nerves calming a little bit as you came to stand there.

You swallowed hard as the bond pastor- who stood in the middle of your circle- started to speak. He spoke first of the past of the first bonds between the Earth and the sky who then had twelve Titan children who were eventually overthrown by Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. (Loki rolled his eyes). And how the bonds grew more and more complicated until each was more unique than the stars in the sky. How the bonds started to change slowly from being simply one man and one woman to become more than one partner of either sex, usually both. How it was discovered that the bonds grew more in strength after a bonding ceremony after marriage and how bonds grew weaker if you consummated before the marriage ceremony. How the evils were discovered through the unbonded.

And then it grew more personal, explaining how each of our bonds represented who we were and how our bonds were more than our favorite colours, but also our unique identities. How T'Challa's meant he would be a protector at heart and how Steve's meant he would always do what was right for his country.

As he spoke, he had taken your bouquet of flowers, slowly handing out each one to the men so that they could put them in the buttonhole of their suits.

"The ritual will give each bonder to the bondee a trait of which they lack or do not possess, in a small element so as not to change their personality completely. This may be a physical trait, an emotional trait, or even a psychological trait." He moved back in front of you, giving you a rose to hold that was dyed with every colour of theirs. "And through the symbolic tribute, we bind."

The roses glowed, gold lines moving out to clasp around all of your wrists, strands of gold light attaching each of them to you. There was also silver lines (already bonded) between Bucky, Sam, and Steve as well as Tony and Stephen. A blue line (meaning family) was between Loki and Thor.

A circle of gold started to spin around your left hand, slowly shaping into an elegant ring. There were twelve small jewels imbedded into the ring, small and each one a singular solid colour to match their primary colour. Their names would be written under each one, magically carved in their, so small you'd need a microscope to see them.

"And now as we released the bond, though they stay forever in their souls, they will consummate the marriage by midnight. May they live happily forever." Then he produced the chalice that every couple had to drink from.

They started with the oldest first, so Thor, before it went all the way down to Sam. Then you were the last to drink it. It was clear, but it tasted like F/D.

Once you finished your one and only swallow, you felt the lines on your arm heat up spectacularly, though not to the point where they hurt. And then the ceremony was over.

Your friends immediately congregated around you as the bonding pastor left you guys to celebrate. His job was done.

You went through a couple hundred 'congratulations' before things finally went into party mode with food and drinks.

There were a ton of surprises as Pietro found his other two soulmates. And guess what? They just happened to be Jessie and Katherine from work.

Elizabeth also found her third soulmate, who happened to be Hogun from Asgard. I was glad. He had the man bun, which she had found adorable with Bucky and Loki. Not to mention he was Asian and she had a thing for Asian guys.

(So there's Hogun in Thor: Ragnarök, and then Thor where they go to Earth. I'm talking about that Hogun without the beard and he looks younger)

The ceremony seemed to both speed by and also go past as slow as possible depending on your thinking. Everyone was extremely happy and ecstatic. There was plenty of singing and dancing. Eating lovely cake.

Everyone was having a really good day when you guys finally decided that you should start back to the hotel. You had the deadline of midnight, after all.

Butterflies started to fly in your stomach. . . or maybe they were bees. It was very hard to tell. "Are you alright baby?" Sam asked quietly as the others laughed and talked to each other.

"Just nervous." You said.

"Nothing to be nervous about." Sam said, putting an arm around your shoulder. "Seriously, you'll see. We all love you so much and you love us. It'll be natural, I promise."

You flushed slightly.

Sam grinned down at you, "Look, it might be a little weird since there's eleven of us. But we're not all going to be in the room at the same time. It'll just be one on one, 'cept maybe Stevie, Buck and I might come in at the same time if you're okay with that?"

"Am I gonna watch you three have sex?" You questioned awkwardly. You weren't awkward because you didn't want to see it, you just asked it extremely bluntly.

He chuckled lowly. "Not tonight, but another night, I promise." He winked.

You grinned, already feeling a bit more comfortable.

"Hello pet." Loki purred in your other ear as Sam's attention was drawn away by Bucky telling him to look at a cute cat that had appeared out of the bushes. "You look absolutely ravishing in your dress."

If he was trying to make you wet, it was working. He had pranced around the wedding, not saying more than a few words to you, a sly smirk on his face, telling you that he had something up his sleeve.

"Thanks." You mumbled, cheeks burning.

"A little birdie told me that Clint was going to be your first." Loki smirked.

"You mean Sam?" You deadpanned.

His smirked got bigger, "I'll be your last my pet." He nipped your ear lobe. "All tuckered out and a complete mess and then I'll show you what it feels like to be with a real man."

He slipped away, back to Thor's side, pretending to take interest in a black cat as you nearly tripped over your own two feet at his words. Good lord.

Once you were in the hotel, you all looked at each other.

"So which room?" Bucky asked.

Tony smirked, pulling out a piece of paper and handing it over to Stephen, "We're not going to a room."

Stephen rolled his eyes, but opened up a portal nevertheless, showing you all one of those private villas that were basically a home as your hotel.

"Tony this is huge." You gasped as you stepped through the portal. The others followed behind.

"What did you expect? It's Tony." Rhodey said with a shrug.

Fair point.

You headed up the stairs, being very careful so that you didn't step on the train of your dress. Suddenly, Steve scooped you up into his arms so that he could carry you over the threshold of the villa.

"Very old-fashioned." You complimented.

He grinned down at you. "I like to stay in touch with my roots occasionally."

"Besides," Bucky added. "It's a nice sentiment. I'll carry you over the threshold of the Avengers tower when we get home."

Tony cleared his throat, "Pretty sure I own that building."

Bucky just rolled his eyes.

"Anyways," Tony continued. "You and Katniss can go upstairs and find the bedroom together I'm sure."

You blushed scarlet now as Clint just rolled his eyes, lifting you up in his arms to carry you up the stairs. You were really starting to like this carrying the bride thing. It meant you didn't have to climb any stairs in your dress or heels.

The bedroom was easy to find. It was obviously your room, fit with cream and lavender colours.

"Well?" Clint asked as he approached you. There was suddenly a wonderful tension in the air as he brushed his slight calloused hands over your shoulders. "Ready for the best part of the night, Birdie?"

You flushed a little at the slightly endearing nickname that you knew was a personal favorite of his, though he never liked using it with other people.

You flushed, looking up into his blue-grey eyes. "Yes."
