A/N: I've been dealing with a lot of hand pain and migraines so I apologize for disappearing.

As you settle into Donnie's lap, he continues his work, the soft churrs from his chest creating a soothing backdrop. He occasionally nuzzles against your neck, a rare display of affection. Normally, he avoids close contact, but during brumation, he craves the comfort you provide. The heat radiating from you and the gentle weight of your presence seem to lull him into a peaceful state, keeping him warm and relaxed.

Despite his condition, he was determined to keep pushing through his work. His instincts drove him to finish his projects, regardless of how fatigued and sluggish he felt. However, it was clear that he couldn't maintain this pace indefinitely, so you made every effort to support Donnie as he labored on, until he eventually reached his limit and collapsed into bed.

A few hours into this, Donnie emits a weary groan. His eyes begin to droop, blinking slowly as he sinks back into his chair. Gradually, he stands up, cradling you in his arms, your legs having long since gone numb.

He scoops you up and brings you to bed, lying back with you nestled on him. His churring grows louder, and soon his eyes begin to close. "'So warm..." He pulls you in tight, emitting soft, comforting chuffs.

"Anything for you, Don." You plant gentle kisses on his plastron, feeling the delightful vibrations of his churrs resonate against your lips. He responds with even louder churrs, giving you in a tender squeeze.

With a gentle motion, Donnie shifts you onto your side, wrapping himself around you to capture the warmth. He presses his face into your neck, releasing a blissful sigh. "Should've done sooner..."

"I tried telling you..." You playfully tease, your fingers gliding gently along his arms, offering a soothing touch.

"Jus for that... You're stuck 'ere..." He emits a soft grunt, tightening his embrace around your waist. A playful, sleepy growl escapes him as he buries his beak into the side of your neck.

Internet hatched early in the morning when everyone else was still asleep so Donnie was the only one around when she actually hatched!

The whole family was really excited though! The lair had been pretty tense for the past few weeks as they got closer to Nettie's hatch date as they waited for her to actually hatch. They were all very excited but Splinter insisted that Donnie get a few days alone with his daughter before being introduced to the chaos that is their family so they did meet Nettie briefly after she first hatched but then Donnie and Nettie got to spend some time alone

Let's start with his brothers.

We already have a fantastic example of how he would dress Raphie, as it was already done in show.

Actually, it's almost 1 to 1 with the main cop in Miami Vice....

As for his other brothers, hmmm...

Mikey seems to have a propensity for 80's hip-hop jackets and tracksuits, so I feel like Don would put him in one as well.

Raphael

Pros:

Considering the sheer size of this magnificent creature, the hugs and cuddles you get are beyond comparison. There's nothing quite like starting/ending your day by being wrapped up in those glorious green muscles.

Is deliberately gentle due to his immense strength and has a great amount of self-restraint in his physicality when interacting with you, even when he gets wildly excited. Such as any time you visit him in the lair and he barrels towards you. It seems like it'll be a harsh impact and then he stops at the last second to avoid knocking you over. Adorable.

Never have to worry about being in danger with him around. This big lug will make sure you're in safe hands no matter the location, no matter the time of day.

Raph is unabashedly tender and kind. He'll be hesitant to say anything hurtful towards you and as such is careful with his words, especially when it comes to criticisms.

Cons:

May get slightly overbearing with how protective he is. He isn't being inherently controlling and his heart is in the right place but you wish he wouldn't worry so much, as sweet as it is.

Need to be careful leaving him alone for too long given his risk for going into savage mode. Can come across as rather clingy because of this.

Much like certain disagreements he has with his brothers, he sometimes has a hard time admitting when he's wrong. However, it's never usually about anything too serious but it can cause it's strains.

Leonardo

Pros:

Always knows how to make you laugh and tries his best to do such when you're feeling down. Some of his jokes are admittedly pretty terrible but you can't deny the fact that even the bad ones coax a smile out of you.

Enjoys spontaneity. Even if you're the type of person that struggles with getting out there or knowing what to do for the day, Leo always has something under his sleeve. Just call him the master of fun.

Whilst he's a jovial character, that doesn't mean he can't have his more serious moments, nor is he always completely blind-sighted to things if they seem too good to be true. Sure, he gets you two into shenanigans but he'll have your back if things seem awry.

Has also been shown to try to reconcile his mistakes and be sympathetic towards your plights, especially if he ends up being the cause of them. It may take him a moment or two to figure it out but he always finds a way to make right by you for his mistakes.

Cons:

Has an almost incessant need for attention and can come across as quite conceited. You find that he prioritises his own entertainment, so planning dates can often feel one-sided and uneven in mutual enjoyment.

Doesn't always know how to take things seriously, which can lead to your fair share of arguments.

Is known to be a compulsive liar and will engage in frequent fibbing when he worries about getting into trouble with you. With this, Leo can be disingenuous as it is not unusual for his charisma to take the form of false flattery just to get into someone’s good graces. Having become aware of this, it's sometimes difficult to take his compliments towards you as true.

Donatello

Pros:

Treats you like the absolute royalty you are. Being his loved one, he makes a point of giving the treatment he feels that you deserve. Whether that be programming S.H.E.L.D.O.N to give you special attention or hiding the last pizza box for you to share, he always makes you feel like number one.

Is always willing to help you out, no matter the issue. Donnie is a problem solver, at the end of the day, and will work on a solution to aid you. No job is too big or too small.

He is all about gestures of grandiose proportions, loving the dramatics as much as he himself is dramatic. His aptitude for being extravagant means that birthdays, Christmases, and anniversaries are often met with awe-inspiring displays of affection.

While he perceives himself as being emotionless, in reality, he is far from it. It isn't uncommon for him to become irritated, such as when he doesn't feel as though others listen to or appreciate his intelligence. That's why it means the world when he opens up to you about his transgressions.

Cons:

Unintentionally has a habit of being condescending or patronising towards you. You are aware that he is highly intelligent and that you won't always know the answer to something, but he needs to keep in mind that he isn't right about everything.

When he gets absorbed in his work, it's as though the entire world around him ceases to exist. This means that getting his attention can be difficult and often times you are left waiting until he's finished.

Despite his openness with you, your genuine adoration of his abilities isn't always met with gratitude. He longs for such praise but it carries more weight if it comes from respective elders. This unintentionally has you feeling irrelevant or that your opinion doesn't matter.

Michelangelo

Pros:

Makes killer meals for you. There doesn't have to be a special occasion for him to get passionately creative in the kitchen for you. He always goes all out to make sure your pallet is satisfied.

Best believe he encourages you to add some colour to your wardrobe and helps you pick out outfits. He's supportive of your choices and loves any excuse for a good fashion show.

He absolutely hates being dishonest to those he loves most and best believe that includes you. One might view it as a con but the fact that he dislikes lying means you never have to worry about him hiding something from you. It does make surprise birthday parties difficult to hide but you win some, you lose some.

Mikey is an intuitive family man and wants to keep you and everyone on good terms with one another. He acts as a brilliant mediator, keeping things fair and unbiased when assisting in such resolves.

Cons:

Sometimes he's a bit brash with conversations that involve telling you about particular problems. You appreciate the irony of 'Dr. Delicate Touch' but that persona is in dire need of a name change.

Being the youngest of his brothers, he may have certain complexes where doing tasks or upholding responsibilities are concerned. Even if it's obvious that something requires an extra pair of hands, he may refuse your help because of his need to prove himself.

Is easily frightened and often retreats into his shell instead of confronting the threat. This includes any challenges that may come from you, as well. You appreciate his fear of conflicts but he can't always hide away when something important needs to be discussed.

At the end of the day, no one is perfect. Far from it, in fact, but you take each other for what you are. As long as you're both happy and know how to have constructive conversations about glaring issues, there isn't anything to worry about <3

I could be wrong, but I feel like most of the rise fandom (not all of them) are sleeping on April and Splinter's father daughter relationship. I think their relationship is pretty cute.

April and Splinter have an awesome relationship. It's obvious that he sees her as a part of the family...that's his daughter!

There's a few parts of the series that really help portray their unique bond... Firstly, on Splinter's "secret" missions, April is usually right there to the point that Splinter asks her to let his sons know that he loves them.

"Please, give my love to my sons." "Hey guys, your pops loves you. Do not reply all."

Even in the movie, Splinter and April were together fighting side-by-side for the majority of the B plot.

During the episode, "Fists of Furry," I love how April was just as eligible as the turtles to spend the day with Splinter at the Lou Jitsu dojos.

She won fair and square, thus he took her, his daughter!

Also, She was the ONLY one that he taught his "Seven Deadly Vipers" move to.

Meanwhile, I also wonder about April's home life.

We know of her mother, Carol, but we never hear about her father...

I can only assume that he's absent or no longer living.

Likewise, we also know that April met the boys when she was pretty young.

So I can only conclude, that April's main father figure growing up WAS Splinter, which explains why they're so close now.

I don't know. I just think that the whole "found family" aspect of TMNT is beautiful, and I love how Rise of the TMNT was able to push that aspect to include April! ❤️ 🧡 💛 💙 💜

Just…talking this out.

I'd love to see a situation where Leo hangs out with a best friend of his and starts developing big feelings. He wouldn't know what these feelings were, testing simple things like hugs and hand holding with his other friend, April, to see if it's just an internal 'glitch' or something common.

Obviously, the reaction wouldn't work with April. Thus, he'd get to a point where he realizes he, of all people, is absolutely smitten with his best friend and begins unintentionally pursuing them (perhaps letting his hugs last a little longer than normal, kissing their knuckles occasionally in passing, leaning a tad bit closer to their face during each conversation…eventually to encase them against a wall on a rooftop, shielding them from the ongoing evening rain, finally and confidently uttering his confession).

Y'know…just…brain worms.

A/N: mmmm just brain worms? Let me eat them /silly.... Actually, can I use them to make a brain worm farm?

Something was off. He couldn't stop thinking about you. Your smile, your laugh, your touch. He often zoned out, thinking about you.

This is getting out of hand....

Sitting next to you, watching Jupiter Jim since you've never seen it. Feeling your arm brush his as you get comfortable, sparks flying over his skin. Leo glances at you, his heart pounding in his chest. He finds himself looking at your lips, wondering what they feel like against his.

He blinks, quickly looking away. People don't normally feel that way with friends, right?

He didn't understand what he was feeling. He decided to test it out. April. The perfect friend, always willing to help.

He definitely didn't explain or ask, but he knew if April knew it might skew results. Leo was getting scientific, something he didn't really understand. But it has to be done.

During a movie night you couldn't attend, he sat next to April, leaning against her and snuggling as he normally did with anyone he sat next to. Throughout the movie, his glances to her were seldom, mostly when she'd shift to get more comfortable or made a comment. Her arm bumped his and he felt nothing, he had no desire to get closer, no desire to touch her more.

That night he went to bed more confused, deciding to tell April about it later. Maybe she'd have some insight on what's going on with him. And of course she did.

Crush.

That was the simple word that echoed in his head as he went home.

Crush.

He shakes his head, trying to knock that one word out of his head.

As time went on, he couldn't help himself. Leo would touch you, holding your hand, kissing your knuckles, cuddling with you during movie nights. He wanted to be close, he wanted to get closer.

He'd noticed your blush, the way you'd cover your face at times. It made him need it more. He had to see more.

When you two were alone in his room, he'd let you rest against him. Sitting between his legs, your back against his plastron. It became a norm. So did his fingers tracing over your skin.

You're so soft...

He nuzzles your jaw, making you tilt your head to the side. His heart pounds in his chest as he presses his beak to your neck.

You smell so good...

Eventually he decides he has to tell you. He can't do it anymore, he can't stand it. It itches, it's hard to not just spill it. Not blurt it out the moment he sees you.

He had his jacket around you, your back pressed against his plastron. The pitter patter of rain, the feeling of the rain against his skin, the feeling of you in his embrace. Everything felt perfect.

Leo nuzzles your temple as you look over the city skyline. He sways slightly, his hands in the pockets of his jacket, his arms wrapped around you. He takes a deep breath, basking in the moment.

"You're so warm." You hum, pressing back against him more. He churrs softly, burying his beak in your hair. You tilt your head back, laying it on the top edge of his plastron. "This is quite the view..."

"Kinda romantic, huh?" He teases, chuffing into your hair. Leo hugs you a bit tighter, feeling nervousness seep in.

"Perfect for a little date." You muse back, reaching up to rub his arm comfortingly. You watch the cars on the street, basking in Leo's warmth.

"I... Really like being with you." He murmurs, moving his arms as you turn around to face him.

"Don't tell me you're getting all mushy." The teasing words have him blushing, playfully pushing you away.

"Me? Mushy?" Leo laughs, trying to hide the big grin on his face with an eyeroll. You laugh back, letting him pull you back against him. His laughter dies a little, but still smiling widely. "I'm serious though... I love being with you... I.... I've realized some things recently..."

You listen intently, seeing the nervousness written all of his face. His grip on our waist tightened a little, taking a deep breath.

"I... Have a massive fucking crush on you..." He whispers finally, closing his eyes as if he was scared of your reaction.

"Really?" You gasp, making him open his eyes. The look on your face, you weren't repulsed like he'd thought you would be. He couldn't help himself any longer, leaning down as he cupped your cheek.

"Really..." He chuffs, pressing his lips to yours, sealing the confession with a sweet kiss.

1. Lee doesn’t really have a favourite food per se. He just eats whats provided by the chefs and his nutritionists. They have to keep him healthy and strong after all! Especially with the draining Nexus Battles and training. But, when it’s a special occasion like his birthday, Frida will ask the chefs to make tiramisu as dessert.

2. Lee doesnt need to be jealous of other people’s hair. His hair is beautiful as it is when he uses the brooch!

3. Big Mama did introduced him as her daughter for a couple banquets at first, so a few people knew him as “Big Mama’s daughter”. But his name didn’t really become well known until he’s grown up and started participating in her deals, and finally boomed when he fought his first battle. By then he already transitioned.

Not a lot of people misgendered him, since he transitioned early. Those who did are strictly corrected. Although there are a few… unsavoury folks who tried to demean him. These kind of people are quickly dealt with. They won’t cause problems anymore. Those who are smart enough won’t try to piss off Big Mama.
