10/14–2023 — ☀️ 🌙 Libra Eclipse

This is a fun synchronous thing to ponder and think about and maybe some of you might want to pay attention to it.

Warning: discussions of war and other triggering topics like politics.

The eclipse is happening at the end of the week. Saturday the 14th, peaking at 11:52 AM (CST)

But that’s the synchronous thing about it? Taking a gander at it, the eclipse occurs at the south node. The south node being about excrement, pushing out, letting go, the stuff that is not needed for us. A point where the butterfly comes out of its cocoon. But to add onto this,

The solar eclipse flies south much like the south node is directed.

The vice versa will occur with the north node total solar eclipse on April 8th of 2024 next year.

My predictions are murky with this, but I have been able to take note of the occurrences that happen before the major event.

Proceeding the Full Moon in Aries (whom was conjunct Chiron- wounds and healing and the north node — hunger, destiny) is the war declaration in Israel with Hamas. They haven’t stopped since and the war seemingly has its fate to go for a long and painful time.

I will also go forth to add on that they are in fact fighting over holy lands that they proclaim to protect. (More on this at the end of the post)

My bets is the stopping point or climax of all wars herein before they really pop off is the Saturn Neptune conjunction at 0 Aries in ‘25 or ‘26.

But on the topic of the annular, with the saturated south node eclipse happening in Libra, one must think of the quote “diplomacy dies in darkness”. What have we seen so far? The war with Hamas and the fight in Ukraine (I will add on them too, due to their almost exact implications but different starting time frame)

Another bet I have is that the wars will seemingly pop up everywhere on all fronts but all not in the same way. Next year begins the 2024 Elections for the United States and there are already signs of agitation and violence on both ends of the spectrum. The bipartisan system we’ve built in the 1770’s now crumbling at the seams. With the help of the Pluto return of the United States.

What does this mean for the north node though?

Bringing up the effects of a north node in Aries eclipse that also moves north as it trenches along; one must say that there will be striving for individuation, war, fighting for your country and peace thereof,….among others.

Wildfires, weather systems and patterns, as well as anything having to do with heat will begin to also become more severe or irrefutable.

For those going through their Nodal Return with these eclipses, and if you feel the pains of change and seeing the atrocities of the world happen on your screens/households/life…

I must be honest, these times look like they’re not gonna end soon. They’ll only ramp up and all we can do is bite down on the bullet that’s been shot. Triumph over this through perseverance, experience and knowledge so the next time that this nodal pattern occurs, we know how to handle it.

And to end it off, fighting over the holy lands that you wish to protect is very ironic because you end up destroying the sacred texts that have been there for centuries.

I’m not too entirely Christian (not devout and monkish in a way), but to fight on sacred lands of a religion and then to say your protecting it only just to be killing a bunch of people for it…

BONUS BIT: I’d like to also add on that if one thinks of it in a certain way, Terra (or mama Gaia, Mother Earth) is kind of going through contractions with this new world order. In a way the solar eclipses coming up are like the famous active labor pains that come through in childbirth. Will all the pain in change, there is forward movement in trying to make a new world order that will be better for us to inhabit this place together in the end.

put so much effort into marketing s2, to the point of putting spots on tv, hanging up gigantic billboards, and spreading teasers all across social media

-if they had no intention to see the show all the way through.

which was ✨validating✨ coming from an outside party, because it's something i've been thinking this whole time. now, granted, i don't trust streaming services, and stranger things have happened, buuuuut idk. it really seems like there's a part of them that realizes ofmd is a large, important property to them, but we shall seeeeeee,,,

Man I love this little fan community of weirdos. Everyone is at least familiar with each other and when it a new person it doesn't matter. Its actually really cool how chill everyone is.

Kinda sad cause I feel like every thing is gonna blow up when the full game hits, the change will obviously be good since the studio and game will get the recognition it deserves but the fandom probably won't be the same.

But to end on a positive light we'll have the whole game to geek about and the DLC side story to look forward to.

He slips in after midnight and it’s a dick move, yeah, ’cause he knows they’ll be asleep, Keeley’s got meetings in the morning, she’s always got meeting ‘cause she’s a proper super star, and Roy hasn’t got meetings, it’s an off day for the coaches too, but he’s an old grump and he needs his eight hours or he’s a worse fucking grump and Jamie doesn’t need him to be a grump tomorrow.

So, yeah. Should go back to his own place, probably. Kip there, head over in the morning. Only, he’s been gone for a week, and with Keeley’s meetings and Roy being the head coach, they’ve none of them had the chance to come the qualifiers, and it’s been brilliant, of course it has, he has, and there’s been texts and phone calls and video calls, but it’s not the same is it, and he’s missed them, and so.

He unlocks the door quietly and takes his shoes off quietly and pads up the stairs quietly, but when he pushes open the door to the master bedroom – quietly – the bed lights are on and there’s Keeley sat with an Ipad in her lap and her back against the padded headboard. On the other side of the bed Roy’s spread out and out like a light, snoring gently.

“Hey,” Jamie says, lingering in the doorway. “Sorry, I didn’t— I mean, thought you’d be asleep.”

“I was waiting for you,” Keeley says, as easily as if it’s nothing, as she puts the tablet away. “Roy was too, but he’s had Phoebe all day, didn’t last two minutes.” And she pauses, eyeing him like she expects him to crack a joke, Roy’s so fucking old something something no fucking wonder he’s tired, but when he doesn’t speak and he doesn’t move she cocks her head to the side. “Come here?”

And he doesn’t need asking twice, does he. He crosses the floor, shedding his clothes as he sheds everything that isn’t them and here and now, and he slips into the middle of the bed, into the space they’ve made for him, and Keeley settles around him and he around her, and at his back Roy is solid and warm, a constant, and Jamie closes his eyes, presses against him and pulls her closer, and the scent of them both is everywhere and her whispered welcome home is the warmth of her smile is the heat of Roy’s body and if this isn’t home he is homeless.

Ricciardo surprised by timing of Hamilton's Ferrari announcement

I really, really hope the rumors that Carlos might have only a short-term contract extension (i.e. until the end of 2025) are true. That may be a blow to his pride, and I feel for him deeply, but breaking away from Ferrari by 2026 would be the absolute best thing for him.

If you don’t know, Carlos and Charles are both currently contracted to Ferrari until the end of 2024, and both are now currently in talks for extensions. According to La Gazetta (grain of salt required), Charles is taking a five year extension to 2029 (whyyyy Charles? why do that to yourself?). Meanwhile, Carlos has asked for a 2-year extension, but Ferrari reportedly only want to offer him 1 year for now. Carlos potentially becoming a free agent for 2026 is very significant because that's the start of the next regulations era in F1; a new formula and new rules come into play, ushering in new engines and new cars and opening up the field for new contenders. It’s also when Audi will be stepping onto the grid as they take over at Sauber (currently Alfa Romeo). Importantly, Audi have been long-rumored to be interested in Carlos as the driver they want to sign and build their new team around.

I'm not going to delve into how much Ferrari has treated Carlos like shit, because we all know that story, and none of us are actually surprised to see the team undervalue the man who keeps them afloat when all else fails and gives them their only win in a season. I don't think Ferrari ever expected Carlos to be so competitive and push il Predestinado the way he has, and now it's bit awkward for them. But the fact is that Ferrari have now gone all in on Charles with this 5-year deal, and now they have no choice but to make every other decision around that. It makes sense that they would offer just a 1-year extension if Carlos is asking for 2 years because they know a 2-year contract would be no more meaningful than a 1-year if other teams are seriously interested in Carlos. If Audi (or McLaren, if Lando leaves) really want to get Carlos for 2026, they will have no qualms about swooping in during the 2025 silly season to buy Ferrari out of Carlos’s last contract year. They know what they have with Carlos even if they aren't going to publicly recognize it, so it's in Ferrari’s best interest to keep their options open for shopping if they don’t want to risk being caught out dry in 2026.

But let’s forget all that and talk about the most interesting part of all this to me: that Carlos asked for something as short as a 2-year extension. He knows Charles is getting 5 years, so why?

This tells me that Carlos has finally begun to lose faith that Ferrari is the best place for him. That’s a pretty damn big deal, because—although this gets overshadowed by Charles’s love story with the Scuderia—Carlos’s passion for Ferrari and the Tifosi is no small thing. I think he smiled bigger on the third step of the podium at Monza than he did at Silverstone for his maiden win. Winning a WDC with Ferrari is (or was) his life’s dream.

But maybe 2023–his best year ever—is what Carlos needed to stop ignoring the writings on the wall. Maybe he’s starting to admit to himself that he’s never going to get the support (or competence) he needs from Ferrari to achieve his dreams. Maybe he's understanding that he's found success not because of Ferrari, but in spite of them.

Carlos is too good to be a No. 2 driver. We know it, Ferrari definitely knows it (and that’s their problem), and—most importantly—Carlos knows it. Ferrari can go ahead and search for someone this talented who's also willing to roll over and be their next Rubens Barrichello. Because it sure as hell won’t be Carlos Sainz, Jr.

Does anyone have experience using Suprelorin on a bitch? I recently learned that it can be used to suppress heat cycles and is a possible alternative to traditional spaying. My issue with getting a bitch in the future is I don't want to spay (health, coat, and confo show reasons) but I also don't want to deal with heat cycles (fluids and also Kermit will claim it as His Woman and I don't want to deal with that nonsense if I can avoid it). But if I can do the implant and have an intact bitch without heat cycles, it would be easier to add a bitch to my current pack.

A friend of mine is trying it out on her bitch so I'll have a couple of years to observe how it works and if there are any longterm effects. I'm also reading what papers I can find, though in my 45 minutes of research so far, it looks like it's mostly used in prepubescent bitches to delay the first heat cycle, rather than control them in an adult dog.

@grison-in-space You seem to know everything, or have the ability to find it out. Do you have any thoughts?

Why suddenly everyone is pressuring for the rest of BTS to enlist?

Jokes were fine at first, but now I’m seeing this type of posts everyday not only on this site, and I’m kinda confused because why would you want them to enlist when they clearly still have things to do?

Namjoon teased new music, Jimin is in Budapest, Taehyung was in the studio, Jungkook is in the middle of Golden… idk what are they supposed to do? Leave everything and go enlist even though they still got some time to go and still come back in 2025?

They know what to do. What’s this sudden rush?

I think that at this point if you believe that they will go on tour in 2025 you’re kinda naïve.

Are we expecting a notification about Yoongi’s enlistment, soon? 

It feels like that’s coming, especially after his live today.  

I keep doing the math to try to figure out when they would hypthetically all be back out, but it’s not so good.  If HYBE would just release the dates for each member’s enlistment, it would be a little easer to navigate.  

This not knowing when they each go is HARD.  

What am I going to do when Jiminie and Jungkookie go....😭  Seriously.  

Thing is with all of this is that this somehow makes my own aging process just a bit more real.  That in itself is hard at times.  I’m not a young ARMY.  

I’ve been saying that I can’t wait for 2025... But in reality it may be 2026 before they are all out and together again.  Who really knows?

My hope is that we as a community here can help support each other, during the tough times.  It’s what will help us all get to the other side.  

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.  I’m grateful to have all of you here, as a part of this community of ARMYs.  I trust that we will all help one another, get through.

looking at this dlc and the content it has makes me re-think everything now LOL i think whats gonna happen soon (im not sure maybe summer-winter 2024 or sometime in 2025-26?) is that theres gonna be a full atreus game announced (or possibly released???) and im here for it!

I was thinking it might be a POV switch majority of the game like ragnarok but now im feeling like this dlc was released in regards to making that atreus only game 👀 Im ngl im a little nervous about it due to “those” ppl, plus idk how sms is gonna handle him, angrboda, etc but we wouldnt truly know until they tried right? This doesnt mean kratos wouldnt be in it or never playable again (i dont think thats smart anyways tbh) i just think atreus might actually have his own game mostly with him playable and i wouldnt mind at all. Im sure his gameplay will be more flexible since hes traveling and his experience is building up and will show as well
