Whether you're in search of a 3 tog duvet or looking for the best bedding options for your baby's cot duvet, read on to discover why cotton should be at the top of your list!
The many benefits of cotton bedding
Cotton bedding is a popular choice for many reasons. Firstly, cotton is incredibly soft and comfortable to sleep on. It's also very breathable, which means that it helps regulate your body temperature while you sleep, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Another benefit of 15 tog duvet cotton bedding is that it's hypoallergenic. This means that it won't cause skin irritation or allergic reactions like some synthetic fabrics do. Cotton bedding is perfect for those with sensitive skin or allergies. Cotton bedding is also very durable and long-lasting. With proper care, cotton sheets can last for years without showing signs of wear and tear. This makes them a smart investment for anyone looking to furnish their bedroom with high-quality bedding. In addition to being comfortable and long-lasting, cotton bedding is also easy to care for. Most cotton sheets can be machine washed and dried without any special instructions or precautions needed. Choosing cotton bedding over synthetic options can help reduce our environmental impact by supporting sustainable farming practices and reducing chemical use in textile production. There are many benefits to choosing cotton bedding that make it a smart choice for anyone looking to upgrade their sleeping experience.
Cotton bedding is a sustainable choice
As people become more conscious of their environmental impact, many are looking for ways to reduce their carbon footprint. One simple way to do this is by choosing sustainable bedding options, and cotton bedding is a great choice. Cotton is a natural fiber that comes from the seedpod of the cotton plant. Unlike synthetic materials like polyester, cotton is biodegradable and can be composted at the end of its life cycle. This means that when you choose cotton bedding, you're making a choice that's better for the environment. Not only is it biodegradable, but growing babys cot duvet cotton also has less impact on the environment compared to other crops. Cotton plants require less water than some other crops like alfalfa or corn and can even help prevent soil erosion in certain areas. Additionally, when you choose organic cotton bedding, you're supporting sustainable farming practices that don't rely on harmful pesticides or chemicals. Organic farms prioritize biodiversity and work with nature rather than against it. Choosing cotton bedding over synthetic options not only provides comfort but also helps reduce your environmental impact. By supporting sustainable farming practices through your purchasing choices, you have an opportunity to make a positive difference in our world.
How to choose the right cotton bedding for you
Choosing the right firm pillow for you can be overwhelming with so many options available in the market. Here are some tips to help you make an informed decision. Firstly, consider the thread count of your bedding. A higher thread count means a softer and more durable fabric, but it may also trap heat during warmer months. If you tend to get hot at night, go for a lower thread count option. Next, think about the weave of your cotton bedding. Percale is lightweight and breathable while sateen has a smoother feel but may retain more heat. Jersey knit is stretchy and soft while flannel provides warmth in colder climates. You should also consider the type of cotton used in your bedding as different types have unique properties. Egyptian cotton is known for its luxurious feel while Pima cotton is strong and durable. Don't forget about sustainability when choosing your cotton bedding. Look for organic or fair trade certified options that prioritize environmental and social responsibility throughout their production process. By considering these factors, you can choose comfortable and sustainable cotton bedding that meets all your needs without compromising on quality or style!
Conclusion
After considering the many benefits of cotton bedding, it's clear that choosing this material for your bed is a smart choice. Not only does cotton provide comfort and breathability for a good night's sleep, but it's also a sustainable option that can help reduce waste and promote environmental stewardship. When shopping for cotton bedding, be sure to look for high-quality options made from organic or fair trade materials. These products are often more durable and long-lasting than synthetic alternatives, making them an investment in both your health and the planet. Ultimately, whether you choose a 3 tog duvet or a 15 tog duvet, or opt for baby's cot duvet instead - there's no denying that cotton bedding is the way to go. So why not make the switch today? How to Keep Your Duvet Fluffy and Warm All Winter Long
Tumblr media
Winter is the time to snuggle up under a warm and fluffy duvet, enjoying cozy nights of restful sleep. However, over time, duvets can lose their loft and become less effective at providing insulation. To ensure that your duvet stays fluffy and warm throughout the winter season, we've gathered some top tips for maintaining its cozy qualities. Read on to discover how to keep your duvet in top shape all winter long.
Shake and Fluff Daily
Start your day by giving your 15 tog duvet  a good shake and fluff. This simple act helps redistribute the filling and restores its loft. Holding opposite corners of the duvet, give it a vigorous shake to loosen up the fibers. Then, gently fluff it up by patting and shaking it from the sides. This routine will prevent the filling from becoming flat and compressed, ensuring maximum warmth and coziness.
Air Out Your Duvet
Regularly airing out your cot bed duvet helps maintain freshness and keeps it fluffy. On a sunny day, take your duvet outside and hang it on a clothesline or lay it flat on a clean surface in a well-ventilated area. Allow it to bask in the sunlight and fresh air for a few hours. This process helps remove any trapped moisture, eliminates odors, and revitalizes the filling, resulting in a refreshed and lofty duvet.
Use a Duvet Cover
Invest in a high-quality duvet covers and use it consistently. A duvet cover not only protects your duvet from stains and dirt but also helps retain its fluffiness. Opt for a cover made of natural, breathable materials like cotton, as they promote airflow and prevent excess moisture buildup. Regularly wash the duvet cover to maintain cleanliness and prevent the accumulation of allergens.
Avoid Heavy Objects on Top
Avoid placing heavy objects, such as books or other items, on top of your duvet with firm pillow. The weight can compress the filling, causing it to flatten and lose its loft. Instead, lightly fold or roll your duvet when not in use. By protecting it from unnecessary weight and pressure, you'll ensure that it maintains its fluffy and warm qualities.
Follow Washing Instructions
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for washing your duvet. Most 3 tog duvet can be machine washed, but it's important to use a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, as they can damage the filling. Be sure to thoroughly dry your duvet before using it, as dampness can lead to clumping and a loss of fluffiness.
Add Tennis Balls or Dryer Balls
When drying your duvet, add a few clean tennis balls or dryer balls to the dryer. As the duvet tumbles, these balls help fluff up the filling and prevent it from clumping together. The bouncing motion created by the balls restores the duvet's loft, resulting in a fluffy and cozy finish.
Avoid Overfilling the Bed
Avoid overfilling your bed with too many additional blankets or pillows. The weight and pressure can compress the duvet and diminish its fluffiness. Keep the layers on your bed to a comfortable minimum, allowing your duvet to maintain its fullness and insulation.
Rotate and Reverse
To ensure even wear and distribution of the filling, rotate and reverse your duvet periodically. This simple step prevents specific areas from becoming flattened or worn out faster than others. Switching the orientation of your babys cot duvet also helps maintain its shape and loft over time.
Professional Cleaning
For duvets with delicate fillings or those that require professional care, consider taking them to a reputable dry cleaner or laundry service. Professional cleaning can help maintain the quality and longevity of your winter tog duvet, ensuring it remains fluffy and warm for many winters to come.
Conclusion
By following these tips, you can keep your duvet fluffy and warm all winter long. With regular care and attention, your duvet will provide the cozy comfort you crave during those chilly nights. Embrace the warmth, snuggle up, and enjoy the winter season with your perfectly fluffed duvet! Just Visit and get the perfect bedding products at www.wowbedding.co.uk.

Tumblr media
Do you struggle to get a good night's sleep during hot summer nights? Are you tired of constantly waking up in the middle of the night, drenched in sweat? Well, we have some good news for you! The solution to your problem is as simple as switching to cotton bedding. Not only is it comfortable and easy to care for, but it also provides numerous benefits that make it ideal for hot sleepers. In this article, we will explore why cotton bedding should be your go-to choice if you want to stay cool and comfortable all night long. So grab a cup of tea and keep reading!
What is cotton bedding duvet?
Cotton bedding is made from the natural fibers of the cotton plant and is a popular choice for many people due to its softness, breathability, and durability. The fabric is known for its ability to wick away moisture from your body, keeping you cool and dry throughout the night. One of the reasons why cotton bedding with duvet covers is so comfortable is because it has an open weave that allows air to circulate freely. This means that even on hot summer nights, you won't feel trapped under heavy layers of fabric. Additionally, cotton bedding comes in a variety of thread counts which can affect its overall texture and softness. Another benefit of using cotton bedding is that it's hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin. Unlike synthetic materials or other types of bedding like wool or down feathers, there are no harsh chemicals used in production which can cause irritation or allergic reactions. In addition to being comfortable and gentle on skin, cotton bedding also provides excellent value for money as it lasts longer than other fabrics such as microfiber or polyester. With proper care and maintenance, your cotton sheets will stand up well against years of use without losing their shape or color. If you're looking for a breathable yet durable option when shopping around for new bed linen - look no further than 100% pure Cotton Bedding!
Why is cotton bedding duvet ideal for hot sleepers?
Cotton bedding is a popular choice for hot sleepers because of its natural breathability. Unlike synthetic materials, cotton allows air to circulate freely, helping to regulate body temperature and prevent overheating during the night. This makes cotton bedding ideal for those who tend to sweat or feel too warm while sleeping. Another reason why cotton bedding is great for hot sleepers cot bed duvet is that it absorbs moisture well. Cotton can absorb up to 27 times its own weight in water, which means it can help wick away sweat from your skin as you sleep. This not only helps keep you cool but also prevents bacteria and odors from building up on your sheets. Cotton bedding also has a soft and lightweight texture that adds comfort without adding bulk or weight. Its smooth surface doesn't trap heat like other materials such as wool or flannel would do, making it an excellent option all year round. Furthermore, cotton is easy to care for and maintain compared to other fabrics used in beddings such as silk or linen. It's machine washable at high temperatures without losing its quality, which ensures that allergens are kept at bay. Choosing cotton bedding will provide you with maximum comfort regardless of the season by allowing proper airflow between your body and sheets while keeping you dry throughout the night – perfect conditions for any hot sleeper!
Cotton bedding benefits for hot sleepers
Cotton bedding is an excellent choice for hot sleepers as it offers various benefits that can help you have a sound and comfortable night's sleep. First, cotton is highly breathable, which means it allows air to circulate freely through the fabric. This helps regulate your body temperature by keeping you cool when it’s warm and warm when it’s cold. Moreover, cotton bedding with babys cot duvet is lightweight, soft and gentle on the skin. It doesn't trap heat like synthetic fabrics or wool do, making them perfect for those who tend to overheat during the night. Plus, cotton beddings are hypoallergenic and free from irritating chemicals making them safe for sensitive skin types. Choosing high-quality cotton sheets also translates into durability since they can withstand frequent washes without losing their softness or shape. Cotton bedding comes in various thread counts that affect its quality; however, a higher thread count doesn’t necessarily mean better quality if the type of cotton used isn’t good enough. In summary, choosing cotton bedding has numerous advantages for hot sleepers such as breathability to keep your temperature regulated throughout the night while providing comfort through its soft texture and durable nature even after multiple washes.
Cotton bedding vs. other beddings
When it comes to choosing beddings, cotton is the way to go for hot sleepers. But how does cotton bedding with 15 tog duvet compare to other types of beddings? Let's take a closer look. Firstly, let's consider silk bedding. Silk is often associated with luxury and its soft texture can be tempting for some sleepers. However, silk is not as breathable as cotton and can trap heat under the covers which can make sleeping uncomfortable for hot sleepers. Next up is bamboo bedding. Bamboo fabric has gained popularity as an eco-friendly alternative to cotton. While it is also breathable, bamboo fabric tends to hold onto moisture which makes it less desirable for hot sleepers who may sweat throughout the night. We have synthetic materials such as polyester or microfiber. These fabrics are cheaper than natural fibers like cotton but come at a cost in terms of breathability and comfort during warmer months. In summary, while there are many options available when it comes to choosing beddings, cotton remains the best choice for hot sleepers due to its breathability and ability to wick away moisture from the body keeping you cool all night long.
Conclusion
In summary, cotton bedding is the ideal choice for hot sleepers due to its ability to regulate temperature and promote breathability. It provides a comfortable and cozy sleeping environment that encourages uninterrupted sleep throughout the night.
Moreover, unlike other materials such as polyester or silk, cotton bedding offers numerous benefits that cater to hot sleepers' specific needs. From its moisture-wicking capabilities to its durability and hypoallergenic properties, it's clear why cotton remains the most popular choice for bedding worldwide.

7. What’s your ideal number of blankets to sleep with?
honestly ideally i would just sleep under a sheet or a suuuper low tog duvet. every time i stay over at someone's house the first thing i do is take the duvet out of its cover and just sleep under the cover aha. at home i have a sheet and then a duvet to pull over it in case i get cold in the night!
17. Want any piercings? Where?
i guess similar to the tattoo question i answered earlier, i wouldn't mind having piercings but i don't think i'd ever actually go out and get any? i had my ears pierced as a child but i've let those close up now. it's like how i own jewellery but i never wear it!
27. What’s your favorite book? Or just one you’ve read a few times?
okay this is an impossible question!! such a fan of Frances Hodgson Burnett and Alexander McCall Smith. also everything by Jane Austen. rereadability-wise every single Christmas i reread Twelve Days of Christmas by Trisha Ashley which is such trash and i love it so much. the front cover is glittery and it's just awful. one of my favourites <3

Discover Your Dream Bedroom Ensemble Through Online Bedding Shopping
Are you tired of restless nights and waking up feeling unrested? Your bedding could be the culprit! A comfortable and cozy bedroom ensemble is essential for a good night's sleep. Online shopping for bedding has made it easier than ever to find your dream bedroom ensemble, tailored to your unique preferences and needs. In this article, we'll explore the world of bedding and guide you on how to choose the perfect bedding set that will not only improve your sleep quality but also complement your bedroom's style.
Understanding Thread Count: Is Higher Always Better?
When shopping for bed sheets online, you'll often come across the term "thread count." It refers to the number of horizontal and vertical threads per square inch of fabric. Many believe that a higher thread count automatically means better quality. While it's true that a higher thread count can indicate softer and more durable sheets, it's not the sole factor to consider. A thread count between 200-400 is generally considered suitable for most people, as it provides a good balance between comfort and breathability.
Embrace Luxury with Egyptian Cotton Sheets
If luxury and ultimate comfort are what you seek, Egyptian cotton sheets are a fantastic choice. Renowned for their superior quality, these sheets are made from the finest cotton fibers, providing a soft and silky feel. Their long fibers make them durable and less prone to pilling, ensuring that your bedding stays pristine for years to come. Look for the words "100% Egyptian Cotton" and indulge in the opulence that these sheets can bring to your bedroom.
Unraveling the Mystery of Bedding Materials
The material of your bedding plays a significant role in determining your sleep experience. Besides Egyptian cotton, other popular materials include:
1. Microfiber
Microfiber bedding has gained popularity due to its affordability and easy maintenance. It is a synthetic material known for its hypoallergenic properties, making it an excellent choice for allergy sufferers. Additionally, microfiber sheets are wrinkle-resistant and can withstand frequent washing.
2. Linen
Luxury bedding linen online exudes a rustic and natural charm. It is highly breathable and wicks away moisture, keeping you cool during hot summer nights. Linen softens with each wash, making it even more comfortable over time. However, keep in mind that linen sheets tend to wrinkle more than other materials.
3. Bamboo
Bamboo bedding is an eco-friendly option that boasts natural antimicrobial and moisture-wicking properties. It is an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin. Furthermore, bamboo sheets are incredibly soft and breathable, providing a luxurious sleep experience.
Choosing the Perfect Duvet or Comforter
Selecting the right duvet or comforter is crucial in achieving the ideal bedroom ensemble. Consider the following factors while making your choice:
1. Fill Power
For down comforters, fill power measures the loft and insulation capability. A higher fill power indicates a fluffier and more insulating comforter. Look for a fill power between 600-800 for a cozy and warm sleep.
2. Tog Rating
Tog rating measures the duvet's warmth, especially popular in Europe. A lower tog rating is suitable for warmer climates, while a higher tog rating is perfect for colder regions.
3. Hypoallergenic Fill
If you suffer from allergies, opt for a duvet or comforter with hypoallergenic fill to ensure a sneeze-free slumber.
Pillows: The Key to Neck Support and Comfort
The importance of choosing the right pillow online for your sleep style cannot be emphasized enough. Whether you sleep on your back, side, or stomach, the right pillow can alleviate neck pain and contribute to a good night's sleep.
1. Memory Foam
Memory foam pillows conform to the shape of your head and neck, providing personalized support. They are excellent at reducing pressure points and ensuring spinal alignment.
2. Down Pillows
Down pillows are known for their luxurious softness and comfort. They are incredibly soft, yet provide adequate support. If you prefer a cloud-like sleeping experience, down pillows are the way to go.
3. Latex Pillows
Latex pillows are naturally hypoallergenic and antimicrobial. They offer a resilient and supportive feel, making them ideal for those who need firmer neck support.
The Finishing Touch: Bedding Accessories
To complete your dream bedroom ensemble, consider adding some thoughtful bedding accessories:
1. Bed Skirt
A bed skirt not only adds a touch of elegance to your bed but also hides the space underneath, providing a clean and polished look.
2. Decorative Pillows
Decorative pillows can add personality and style to your bedding. Mix and match different patterns and textures to create a visually appealing and inviting bed.
3. Throws and Blankets
Throws and blankets serve both decorative and practical purposes. They add extra warmth during chilly nights and can be layered for a cozy, inviting appearance.
Investing in high-quality bedding is investing in the quality of your sleep and overall well-being. When shopping for bedding online, consider factors like thread count, material, fill power, and pillow support to find your dream bedroom ensemble. Whether you opt for the opulence of Egyptian cotton, the eco-friendliness of bamboo, or the rustic charm of linen, your perfect bedding set awaits. So, dive into the world of online shopping for bedding, and transform your bedroom into a haven of comfort and style. Happy sleeping!

The Military Dog Tag Dilemma
Relationship: Stucky x Reader Warnings: N/A, just fluff Summary: You just want to wear the military tags of both your men but Steve seems to run into some issues. A/N: I am also always a sucker for Stucky writing ok and this was my first personal attempt at it and i thought it came out well <3
masterlist
Bucky gave you his dog togs within weeks of establishing your relationship with him and Steve.
You loved to mindlessly play with them as the three of you cuddled up in bed, enjoying some pillow talk after, particularly long days. Steve spooning you from behind as you laid on Bucky’s chest, his arm thrown around you, running his fingers through Steve’s hair. Your fingers would fumble with the shiny tags, turning them over in your hand, watching the minimal moonlight hit them every now and then.
You didn’t know what it was about the tags that had you so captivated nearly every night. It felt so simple yet so intimate as you stared at your lover’s name and information engraved in them. While you weren’t exactly an expert on wartime, you knew the tags could serve as gifts to partners, assuring your heart to one another. The concept definitely drifted through your mind from time to time, but you never brought it up.
Bucky, however, seemed to be thinking the same thing. Wordlessly, one night, he slipped off the silver chain, tags clinking together musically, and slid them over your head. The coolness of them tickled your neck as the tags fell to the valley between your breasts.
You didn’t know what to say. Your heart was pounding as you ran your fingers around the necklace. Even Steve seemed a little shocked by the actions. But Bucky was fully pleased as evident by the cocky grin he wore watching you ogle at the gift. He had to admit — knowing you were walking around with his name dangling from your neck did something for him.
"Where are your tags, Steve?" You had asked after placing a loving, appreciative kiss on Bucky’s lips. Now that you obtained Bucky’s tags, it only seemed fitting you wore Steve’s as well.
Steve shifted. You looked up at him only to find him watching the wall across from the bed, seemingly lost in thought. "I-I’m not really sure, honey."
You let out a sad hum at the response. "Well, if you find them, let me know," you yawned, shuffling down in the bed to get comfier. "I’d like both of my men close to me all the time."
Since then, Steve had been on a mission to find dog tags. Going through archives, chain of custody notes, discarded boxes… Everything. There was just something about the entire thing that was driving Steve mad. He was honored you wanted to show off the claim your two lovers had on you but he was also deeply concerned about the fact that currently you only had Bucky’s to wear.
While Steve wouldn’t exactly call himself jealous in this situation, knowing you didn’t love him any less, the relationship was established the way it was and he felt you should still have something of his to truly show for it.
This led Steve on what felt like a manhunt for the "damn dog tags," as he kept referring to them when Bucky would check-in asking if all was okay. Nothing was really okay. He had looked high and low for them, going through every potential record in the database trying to at least confirm there was something to even look for.
He pounded his fist against the desk late one night. Steve had pushed you and Bucky to get some sleep, claiming he had some reports to look over before bed. You two had looked at him suspiciously but eventually agreed, planting loving kisses on his cheeks, and telling him not to stay up too late.
"I get cold without both of you there," you had mumbled with a sleepy yawn following. Your words almost made Steve give up for the night but then he caught a glimpse of the silver chain on your neck. Seeing you like that, using your tired, loving voice, he remembered what he was doing this for. It was you. It was all about you and your love for sentimental things.
He grudgingly agreed to be there in an hour and that seemed to please his two lovers. Except — it was way past an hour. The sky was close to daybreak when he hit the desk in frustration.
Pushing the folders away, Steve leaned back in the chair, sighing. Within seconds, footsteps came from the hall and Bucky appeared in the doorway, watching a frustrated Steve.
"Everything okay in here?" Bucky asked, leaning against the door frame.
"Yeah, yeah, everything’s fine," Steve nodded. "Go back to bed, I’ll be there in a bit."
But Bucky didn’t look the slightest bit convinced. He had a knowing look in his eyes which Steve tried to avoid by looking down at the now splintered desk.
"How are those reports going?"
Steve rolled his eyes, letting out an annoyed groan. Deep down he knew he couldn’t hide anything from Bucky but still, worth a shot.
He pushed all the folders away this time, leaving them at the very edge of the desk. "I did have dog tags, right?"
"That’s still bothering you, huh?" Bucky crossed the threshold into the office and made his way to one of the chairs in front of Steve’s desk. He took one of the folders and sat directly across from Steve. Casually, he thumbed through it, waiting for his partner to start talking.
Steve didn’t really want to get into it again as he had probably hounded Bucky about it all last week but acting like it wasn’t bothering him was getting him nowhere — obviously.
"Yes," Steve sighed. "I just want her to have something from each of us. It’s- It’s hard watching our girl…"
Bucky frowned, "I’m sorry, Steve. I should’ve waited to give them to her."
"No, Buck," Steve leaned forward, reaching his hand out. Bucky took the signal and leaned, placing his own hand in Steve’s. "You wanted her to have them. That’s your call. I just feel disappointed I have nothing to give."
"Well…" Bucky hummed, tilting his head in thought. Steve’s eyes furrowed, trying to get his partner to spit out whatever he was thinking. "What if we ordered you new ones?"
"Can you do that?"
"I honestly don’t know," Bucky chuckled. "But I don’t understand half of what you can do these days, so, I’d imagine there’s a way to get dog tags made."
Steve sighed, leaning back in his chair, disconnecting their touch. It seemed reasonable and would do the job except for the fact— "But they wouldn’t be in combat or- or from the actual military."
Bucky just shook his head. With an annoyed scoff, he said, "Do you think that really matters to her?"
"I guess not…"
"Steve, honey, I promise. It’s about the presentation, the show of it. Our girl is just looking for something personal from you to keep close to her," Bucky assured him. "Plus, I think we can get it updated and personalized. Maybe even write something nice just for her on the back."
Steve had to admit, his heart was jumping happily at the idea. He really couldn’t argue with anything and agreed to the plan. The only issue was — they were a bit out of touch with ordering anything online. You had always been the one to assure online packages and food deliveries arrived but now they had to take you out of the equation. While excited to surprise you, they were slightly unsure about ordering and had to enlist the help of the team who all turned out to be more than happy to assist once they explained their idea.
A few weeks later, you were laying in your shared bed, back against the headboard, body cozied up under the duvet. You were engrossed in a cheesy romance novel, waiting for Steve and Bucky to join you for the night. Eventually, the two came in, but they were still in their work attire.
You frowned at their appearance. "Aren’t you guys coming to bed?"
As you asked your question, you couldn’t help but note their unusual stance. The two men were side-by-side, standing at the foot of the bed, looking down at you. Bucky had his hands in his pockets while Steve appeared to be hiding something behind his back. You eyed them suspiciously.
"We will in a bit, doll," Bucky said. You watched him as he came around to the side of the bed. He sat down and leaned against the headboard, shifting right next to you, sneakily taking the book out of your grip. "But first, Steve has something for you."
"For- For me?" You asked, whipping your head around to face Steve. He had a bit of nervousness to him as he nodded, making his way over to the bed and sitting on the edge.
Silently, he handed you a small box. You eagerly accepted the item, turning it over and over in your hands. Giving it a light shake, the box made a jangling noise. "What is it?" You asked, wide-eyed looking between the two men.
Steve and Bucky both let out soft chuckles at your excitement. "You have to open it to find out," Steve said. He still had an air of anxiousness, running his hands up and down his jean-covered thighs, fidgeting.
To put your poor boyfriend out of his misery, you opened the box. At first, all you noticed was something slim and shiny. Eyes furrowed in confusion, you pulled out what appeared to be a chain. You could feel a slight heaviness to it — and then you saw it. Your jaw dropped as you tossed the box next to you. In your hands was another set of dog tags nearly identical to the ones you already had adorned on your neck — only this pair were inscribed with the name Steven Grant Rogers.
"Steve-," you gasped, staring at the tags laying in the palm of your hands. You were at a loss for words as you read the tag.
"Are- Are they okay?" Steve asked, his nervous hand came up to rest on your thigh, pulling your attention back to him.
"Are you kidding me?" You let out a breathy laugh. "They’re wonderful, honey, thank you so much."
"You’re sure?" He asked again. Bucky gave him a pointed look for his ridiculousness but that didn’t stop Steve from rambling. "I-I couldn’t find mine so, I got a new pair made. I know they’re maybe not as authentic or something but I still wanted-,"
"You had these made?" You cut in. "For me?"
Steve nodded, "You had Bucky’s, so, it was only fair you had something of mine, too."
You couldn’t hold your emotions back at his word. Tears began forming as you looked at your soft, loving partner. You let out little sniffles as you turned back to the tags, still soaking in their meaning. Bucky placed a light touch on your arm as Steve scooted closer, probably suddenly scared by your tears.
"They’re perfect, honey," you whispered as you looked back at him and leaned forward, placing a sweet kiss on Steve’s lips. He eagerly accepted, practically sighing from relief under your touch. "They’re going to go perfect with the tags from my other man." You mumbled and turned to now give Bucky a kiss, who felt very pleased to get a turn to lock lips with you.
Facing Steve again, you handed him the chain. He looked down at it, confused.
"Well, soldier, are you going to put them on me?"
Both of the men chuckled at your actions but Steve happily slid the silver chain over your neck, watching as the tags fell to your chest. Once they landed, they clang nicely with Bucky’s. It sounded like music to your ears.
"I love you both so much," you said, your hand mindlessly running over the pair of tags. "Thank you."
"We love you too, doll," Bucky said. Steve nodded in agreement.
Smiling, you gave them both quick pecks and said, "Now, are you guys coming to bed?"
Bucky scoffed, "How could we ever deny you?"
You giggled. "I don’t think you can seeing as last time I checked I was a special girl."
At your words, both their gazes dropped once again to the tags hanging between your breasts, seeming so at place there.
"You sure are, honey," Steve mumbled, placing a kiss on your cheek.

Rules: List the first lines of your last 20 stories (if you have less than 20, just list them all!). See if there are any patterns. Choose your favourite opening line. Then tag 10 of your favourite authors!
Okay. Let's do this. Starting with my most recent, working backwards:
1. if (touched by love's own secret) [TOG] - Joe would be the first to admit he's been a little distracted all week.
2. it fills my head up and gets louder [TOG] - Joe's first day back in post goes about as well as could be expected.
3. where the church bells chime [TOG] - Nicky knows that Joe doesn’t remember their first meeting.
4. it couldn't wash the echoes out [TOG] - Contrary to popular opinion, Joe does actually know how to keep himself out of trouble.
5. and it starts when you're around [TOG] - As terrible as he is, Joe can't deny that Nicky scrubs up well.
6. love is a gradual series of revelations [TOG] - Nicky actually likes driving, is the thing.
7. love is stored in the lasagne [TOG] - Joe’s got this.
8. hello (fresh), I love you [TOG] - Joe gets the text on an otherwise innocuous Thursday, and forwards a screenshot of it to Nicky with a laugh and no further thought about it. (this one is slightly cheating, but the text was a real text and not something I wrote)
9. fresh as hell-o [TOG] - Joe's not too proud to admit that he's showing off a little.
10. dancing's not a crime (unless you do it without me) [TOG] - Nile liked to think she was getting to grips with reading the others.
11. shitebag if ye dinnae [TOG] - ‘You didn’t even make it a year, habibi,’ says Joe against Nicky’s collarbone as he crouches over him, opening himself up with one hand while holding himself up with the other.
12. it's such a gorgeous sight [TOG] - It’s the cold that wakes him, slipping in under the duvet to nip at his feet where they’re no longer twisted together with Nicky’s perennially warm toes.
13. hey, you (don't you think it's kind of cute?) [TOG] - Even as he ducks through the door of the car Joe thinks it’s a little weird that Andy is listening to 80s Italian pop, but he’s so busy being performatively pissed off that it doesn’t occur to him to ask about it.
14. a little, oh a little bit [YOI] - There are a great many benefits to long hair.
15. could have less to worry about (I won't lie to you) [YOI] - Viktor sighed when he heard the ‘wow!’ from the other room, but he finished brushing his teeth before he did anything about it. (sorry sir Terry)
16. (that hopeful feeling) when eden was lost [YOI] - Viktor saw his face at night in the dark, when he closed his eyes and tried to sleep.
17. sit in and watch the sunlight fade [YOI] - ‘Sit nicely, Vitya. Your posture is slipping.’
18. above all things, love [YOI] - Viktor Nikiforov was in Paris all of three days before he found his way to the Moulin Rouge. (I swear to fuck I'll finish this)
19. couldn't fall for someone I thought couldn't misbehave [YOI] - There were so many lovely ways for soulmate connections to manifest.
20. be still, my foolish heart [YOI] - It started, as these things so often do, with an act of kindness.
Right. Well. Clearly I love a strong topic sentence and telling you who's POV we're in, because apparently I never left AH English. fuck sake rae get a new idea once in a while I think my personal favourite is number 12, but I'm feeling a bit red in the face by how blatant my pattern is haha, I was more creative with my opening lines when I was writing YOI fic.
I think almost everyone in TOG fandom has been tagged by now, so it's my poor usual suspects who're getting the bulk of it this time (20 tags seems so excessive??? do i even have 20 pals????)
@thewalrus-said @deripmaver @linisen @kazul9 @rikichie @nihidea-art @boudoirwriter @boutiquetraveltravelboutique @stammiviktor @incandescentantelope @and-then-yoi-happened
I do have twenty pals, thank you for making me count, but most of them have already been tagged hahaha
EDIT: Hi, I'm Rae, I'm 27, and I NEVER FUCKING LEARNED HOW TO READ. it only asked for ten tags. God in fuckin Govan.

Private Time - Chapter 3
Klaine, M, A03
What can I say, you inspired me to keep going - clearly we all wanted to know what happened next, including Sam :)  Hope you enjoy.
Summary:  One thing about being in quarantine with your grad school roommates... you hardly get any private time...
Chapter 3
Sam is at his desk, surfing the web for something to spice up his own private time session, when he hears Blaine and Kurt coming up the stairs.
“Shhh…” Blaine says, laughing too hard to actually be quiet.  “They’ll know we aren’t in our rooms.”
“Aren’t they supposed to have headphones on?”  Kurt asks.
There’s a thump, and a shuffle, and Sam suddenly clues in, a thrill running through his body. It finally happened.  He knew those two were crushing on each other.
“Oh my god, that’s so good,” Blaine moans, and it sounds like he’s right outside Sam’s bedroom door. “Do it again.”
Are they just kissing? Or… more?
“I will,” Kurt says, his voice throatier than Sam has ever heard it.  “But let’s at least go inside.  My room or yours?”
“Don’t care,” Blaine responds.  “Come on.”
Holy shit, his flatmates are definitely making out – snogging – right there in the hallway. Sam is tempted to go see, but then he hears a door open and close.
He’s disappointed for a minute, but then clearly hears another thump and accompanying moan.  Of course, the walls in this apartment are so ridiculously thin, there’s really no privacy at all.  This has never bothered Sam, and now it seems to have an extra perk.
He strains his ears and grins at what he hears.
 “God, Blaine, you’re so gorgeous.”
“No, you’re gorgeous, Kurt, you are.  You’re amazing.”
“Mmm, tell me more. If you’re so sure, give me details.”
Wow, Kurt is demanding. No surprise.  It’s really hot.
Sam practically holds his breath to see how Blaine will react, but he shouldn’t have worried. Blaine is completely on board.  “Your eyes are stunning, and the way you hold yourself, god, just every time you walk into a room, I can’t take my eyes off of you. And… your hair is so… so…”
“Come on, if we’re talking about hair, you clearly win.”
There’s an audible sigh. “My hair is a rat’s nest, and I’ve been out of gel for weeks.”
“Your hair is fantastic. It’s so soft.”
A low moan.  “Oh my god, Kurt, that feels great.”
Sam imagines Kurt running his fingers through Blaine’s hair.  Whatever is going on, Kurt and Blaine are both clearly enjoying it, although Sam thinks they’re getting a little off topic.
“I can lend you some product, you know.  It’ll help the curls keep their shape, but tame it all a little bit.  I can even give you a trim.”
 “You’d do that?”
“Of course.  I’ve got a nice sharp scissors in my crafting kit. I’ve cut hair dozens of times.”
There’s a pause, and Sam wonders what happened.
 “Kurt?”
 “Yeah?”
“Maybe we can talk about my hair some other time?”
Kurt barks out a laugh that Sam has never heard before, and then there’s silence again.
Sam’s curiosity gets the best of him after a few minutes, and he carefully peeks out into the hallway. It’s empty, of course – Rachel is probably dutifully wearing her headphones, even if the rest of them aren’t – and so he leaves his room, crosses the hall, and slides down to the floor, his head resting against the door to Kurt’s bedroom.
Now he can hear them even better.  Sounds like more kissing.  A little nipping, maybe.  Tugging at each other’s lips.  Nice.
“God, I love kissing you,” Blaine says.  Sam can just imagine the look on his face.  Blaine gets so enthusiastic when he’s excited.
“Me too, me too,” Kurt says. “You taste so good.”
“That’s Sam’s cherry chapstick,” Blaine says, and Sam snorts, quickly slapping a hand over his mouth. Careful, he thinks to himself.
“Nah, I don’t think so,” Kurt replies.  “That’s all you.”  Whatever Kurt does next must be particularly good, because he hears Blaine take a sharp intake of breath, and sigh out Kurt’s name.
 Are they still just kissing?
“Oh god, Kurt,” Sam hears, and then the soft sound of something sliding to the floor.  A shirt?  Blaine was wearing one of his black polos, that could be it.  Or that tight button-up Kurt had on.
Sam squirms a little, pressing his hand to his dick, over his shorts.  It’s definitely is starting to take a serious interest in the proceedings. He’s always thought he was at least a little bit bi.  This is pretty good confirmation.
“Blaine, look at you. God, your shoulders…”
There’s another one of those little sharp breaths from Blaine, and Sam slides his hand under the elastic waistband of his shorts, reaching down.
“Your neck is sensitive, isn’t it,” Kurt murmurs.  “Don’t worry, I won’t leave a mark.”
“Feel free,” Blaine breathes out.  “I want you to.”
 “Yeah?  Okay.”
Sam can’t take it anymore, and wraps his hand around himself, just holding on at first.  He looks around the still empty hallway. He’s not really going to have a wank right here, is he?  Just toss one off where anyone could see?
 “That’s good, your mouth, wow…”
“Love the way you taste here, just in this spot…”
“That’s my, uh, collarbone, not really very interesting… ooh – wow, teeth, uh…”
“Sorry, did I nibble too hard?”
“No, it’s… good...  I like it.”
“How about here?  I won’t bite this time.”
“Ohh…”  Blaine is practically whining, and Sam starts to stroke himself.  This is better than any online porn, ever.
“You like that?  Not every guy has sensitive nipples.”
“Holy crap, Kurt, yeah, yeah, I like it.”
“Want me to go harder? Mmmm, perking right up for me… you do like that… now, let me pay some attention to the other one… such pretty little nubs…”
Blaine whines again, a high, needy sound, and Sam grabs himself tight around the base of his dick. He doesn’t want to come too soon, this is too much fun.
 “Fuck, Kurt, I need…”
 “What?”
Blaine just moans, and Sam throbs in response.
“How about we get these off? Gotta be getting a little tight.” He can hear the smile in Kurt’s voice. “Even tighter than normal.”
Damn it, Kurt’s talking about those red pants Blaine likes to wear, the ones that cup his ass so well. Sam’s never understood how Blaine can wear them so snug, it’s like they’re painted on.
“You’re one to talk,” Blaine pants out.  “I’m not the only one with tight pants.  The way your legs look in those skinny jeans, Kurt.  It should be illegal.”
“Wanna arrest me, officer?” Kurt says, and then they both break out into breathy laughter.
 “Too much?”  Kurt asks.
“God, I don’t know, my head is spinning so hard right now, I can’t even-” Blaine’s voice is cut off, and from the slurping sounds Sam thinks they’re probably kissing again. Seriously kissing.
“Blaine, I don’t think it’s just your head that’s hard,” Kurt whispers.
“That doesn’t even make sense.  But, yeah, I mean… god, I am.  So hard. You are too, right?”
There’s some fumbling noises, and the slick sound of a belt being pulled out through its loops.  Then what could be a zipper…
Sam’s shorts and underwear are getting in the way, so he gives it up and shoves them both down to his ankles and then shakes them off altogether.  Much better.
“Blaine, my god, <i>look</i> at you.”
Suddenly Sam desperately wants to look, too, and he can’t resist anymore.  He reaches up to the doorknob and ever so slowly, begging the door not to creak, he eases it open until he can just see inside.
Blaine and Kurt are completely naked, their clothes tossed to the ground beside them.  They’re standing by the foot of the bed, facing each other.  Blaine is mostly turned towards the door, and Sam can see everything… Blaine’s dark hair is sticking up every which way, and there’s a pink flush on his chest, with red splotches around his nipples.  Oh god, Sam thinks, that’s from Kurt’s mouth, sucking and pulling on each one.  His own chest tingles, and Sam slides a hand across his pecs.  He rolls a nipple between his thumb and forefinger, and bites his lip to stay quiet as he thinks about Kurt doing this to Blaine.
Of course Sam can’t help but notice Blaine’s cock, rock hard and standing at attention.  Pretty impressive, buddy, he thinks, swallowing hard. Don’t know how you survive keeping it in those tight pants.  It’s obviously having much more fun out here in the open.
Kurt is standing with one hip cocked, like a dancer, long and lean.  His firm butt is practically in Sam’s face.  Sam wills himself not to make a noise.  He can’t believe they haven’t noticed him opening the door, but it’s clear that Blaine and Kurt only have eyes for each other.
“Kurt…” Blaine is practically speechless, his eyes wide, and his hands reach out towards Kurt.
“Come here,” Kurt says, and then they’re pressing together, chest to groin.  Kurt slides his hands down Blaine’s back and Sam can tell the minute he gets his hands on Blaine’s ass and squeezes, because Blaine nearly shouts in response.
Blaine’s got his forehead pressed against the side of Kurt’s face, apparently too worked up to continue snogging, and Kurt is breathing hard into Blaine’s ear while rhythmically grasping at Blaine’s ass.
 “Oh, oh, Kurt, I’m, Kurt-”
Apparently not wanting it all to be over too fast, Kurt slides his hands back up Blaine’s back, easing up until there’s a little space between them.  “Hey, what do you say we take this to the bed?”
Blaine pulls back and stares at Kurt for a long moment, until apparently he regains the ability to speak.  “Yeah, yes, good idea.”
The two of them scramble on to the bed, Blaine shoving the duvet on to the floor (good call, their washer and dryer really can’t handle blankets, Sam has discovered this the hard way) and settle on their sides, facing each other.  Blaine is smiling so hard it looks like his face is going to split open with happiness, and Kurt has blushed a pretty pink.
“Hi there,” Kurt says, running a single finger from Blaine’s cheek, to his shoulder, and down his arm.
“Hi,” Blaine responds, ducking his head and then looking back up at Kurt through his long lashes. “Wanna fool around?”
Kurt laughs, his head leaning back and exposing his slender neck.  “I thought we were.”
Blaine giggles and leans in to Kurt, one hand going to the back of his head to bring their lips together for a long, sultry kiss.  Kurt whimpers and grabs Blaine’s shoulder, sliding closer, arms and legs wrapping around each other until it is hard to tell where one stops and the other begins.
The kiss slows, mellowing, with more finesse than the first round.  Sam wonders what it would be like to be kissed like that, like the person kissing you wanted to discover everything about you, right down to your bones.
“Oh god, Blaine, this is good,” Kurt says, threading his fingers through Blaine’s hair.  Blaine’s hands are moving over Kurt’s bare back, one hand slowly moving down to Kurt’s ass.
“Mmm, yeah,” Kurt encourages, and Blaine’s hand drops lower, exploring.  When his fingers press into Kurt’s crack Kurt lets out a high pitched noise and Blaine freezes, but then Kurt shakes his head against Blaine’s face and pants into his ear.  “No, don’t stop.  Keep going, please.”
Blaine plays with Kurt’s ass a little more, pressing and sliding a finger in, and Sam wonders if it would be too forward to find them some lube.  He’s wishing he had a little himself, although there’s enough moisture now from his own pre-come that things are going along just fine.
Kurt is rutting hard against Blaine’s thigh now, and Blaine seems to decide that it’s time to take matters in hand, so to speak.  They shuffle around, Blaine reaching between them, and they both start to moan.  Sam barely restrains himself from joining in, his hand now moving furiously up and down his cock.
Sam can’t see exactly what’s going on between Blaine and Kurt’s sweaty bodies, but he thinks Blaine is jerking them both, and doing a mighty fine job.  Sam puts a finger in his mouth and sucks hard, then reaches down to cup his balls, rolling them softly in his palm.
“Kurt, come here, just like-”  Blaine slides a leg in between Kurt’s, getting Kurt’s leg up and over his hip. Kurt is lying halfway on top of him now, one knee a little bent, giving them some room between them to maneuver. One of Blaine’s hands is back to gripping Kurt’s ass, and the other is lost between them, where Kurt seems to be helping him out.
Oh god, they’re jerking each other off, maybe both holding on to their cocks together, pressing them against each other, silk pulling over the hardness of their erections, fuck, fuck, fuck-
Sam moves his hand faster on his cock, adding a twist near the tip, down and up and twist and over and over again.  He shifts until he’s almost flat on the floor, his head angled so he can see still through the tiny opening into the room.  Luckily Blaine and Kurt are providing a steady narration, and are clearly getting close to the finale.
“Blaine, that’s good, oh, fuck, yeah-”
“Kurt, yeah, that’s it, keep going-”
 “Oh, Blaine, please, yes-”
“Oh fuck, come on, come on-”
 “Blaine, oh god, yeah, Blaine-”
Their words turn into long, low moans, and then Sam feels himself coming hot and wet over his hand.
“Oh my god, Kurt, that was amazing.”
“Blaine… wow.  Come here.  Wow.”  Kurt hums softly, and Blaine responds in kind, both of them breathing hard as they catch their breath.
Sam  watches as Blaine curls up against Kurt, his head on Kurt’s chest, and a dazed and happy smile on his face.  Sam can’t help smiling too.
Sam’s cock pulses out another spurt.  His legs are numb.  He feels fantastic.
Private time is the best idea Rachel Berry has ever had.

Are there any eco-friendly options for duvets that align with sustainable living?
Tumblr media
In today's world, where sustainable living is becoming increasingly important, many individuals seek eco-friendly alternatives, including bedding, in every aspect of their lives. Thankfully, several eco-friendly options for duvets align perfectly with sustainable living principles. Let's delve into these alternatives and understand how they contribute to a greener planet.
Eco-Friendly Duvet Options: Natural Fiber Duvets: Opting for duvets made from natural fibers such as organic cotton, bamboo, or hemp can significantly reduce your carbon footprint. These materials are biodegradable, require fewer pesticides and chemicals during production, and are more sustainable in the long run.
Recycled Materials: Some duvet manufacturers use recycled materials to create warm and comfortable bedding options. Recycled polyester or down alternatives from plastic bottles help divert plastic waste from landfills and oceans.
Responsibly Sourced Down: If you prefer traditional down duvets, look for those that are certified by organizations like the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). This certification ensures that the down used in the duvets comes from ethically treated and responsibly managed ducks or geese.
Tencel or Eucalyptus Fiber: Duvets made from Tencel or Eucalyptus fiber are environmentally friendly and known for their breathability and moisture-wicking properties. These options are particularly suitable for individuals who prioritize comfort and sustainability.
Seasonal Considerations:
15 Tog Duvets: A 15 tog duvet provides maximum warmth and comfort for colder months. Consider opting for an eco-friendly version made from natural or recycled materials to keep cozy while still being mindful of the environment.
3 Tog Duvets: A lightweight 3 tog duvet prevents overheating in warmer seasons. An eco-friendly option ensures you can sleep comfortably while reducing your ecological impact.
Winter Tog Duvets: When winter arrives, investing in a higher-top duvet, such as a winter tog duvet, can help you stay warm without relying heavily on heating systems. Look for eco-friendly alternatives to maintain a sustainable lifestyle.
Eco-Friendly Option for Baby's Cot: Extending eco-conscious choices to every family member, including the little ones, is important. When selecting a babys cot duvet, choose one made from organic cotton or other natural fibers. These materials are gentle on sensitive skin and safe for your baby, promoting sustainable practices from an early age.
If you're seeking high-quality, eco-friendly duvets in the UK, consider exploring Wowbedding. Wowbedding offers many bedding options that align with sustainable living principles. Tumblr media
Are you tired of your cotton bedding feeling rough and scratchy? Do you want to know how to keep it soft and fresh for longer? Look no further! In this blog post, we'll give you all the tips and tricks on how to care for your cotton bedding. From cleaning to storing, we've got everything covered so that you can get the most out of your duvet covers, cot bed duvets, 3 tog duvets, baby's cot duvets, 15 tog duvets and even complete duvet sets. So sit back, relax and learn how to make your bed a haven of comfort with our simple yet effective advice.
What is a cotton bedding?
Cotton bedding 15 tog duvet is a type of bed linen made from cotton fibers. It's commonly used because it's breathable, comfortable and durable. Cotton sheets come in different colors, patterns and thread counts which are indicators of their quality. Thread count refers to the number of threads woven into one square inch of fabric. The higher the thread count, the denser and softer the sheets will be. Egyptian cotton is considered to be one of the most luxurious types due to its long fibers that produce strong and soft fabrics. Cotton bedding comes in various styles like duvet covers, fitted sheets, flat sheets or pillowcases that can all be mixed and matched for a personalized look. Cotton bedding also has hypoallergenic properties making it an ideal choice for people with allergies or sensitive skin. Cotton bedding offers both style and comfort while being easy to care for compared to other materials such as silk or polyester blends. With proper maintenance and cleaning techniques, your cotton bedding can last you years without losing its softness or color vibrancy!
How to Clean Cotton Bedding
Taking care of your cot bed duvet is important to keep it soft and fresh. One of the most crucial steps in maintaining its quality is cleaning it regularly. Here are some tips on how to clean your cotton bedding properly. First, always read the care label instructions before washing your beddings. Some cotton materials may require specific washing conditions or temperatures that you need to follow. Wash your cotton bedding separately from colored items to prevent color bleeding. Use a mild detergent, as strong chemicals tend to break down fibers and damage the fabric's structure. When washing duvet covers, unzip them entirely and remove any inserts beforehand. This way, you'll ensure that every part of the cover gets cleaned thoroughly without damaging zippers or buttons. Use cold water when washing cotton sheets because hot water can shrink or damage fibers over time. Additionally, avoid using bleach as it can weaken the material and cause yellowing over time. Dry your cotton bedding on low heat settings or hang them out to air-dry naturally under shade away from direct sunlight exposure. Doing so will protect their delicate fibers while keeping them fresh-smelling!
How to Store Cotton Bedding
Properly storing your cotton bedding is just as important as cleaning it. Here are some tips for keeping your cotton bedding in top condition when not in use. First, make sure that your babys cot duvet is completely dry before storing it away. Any moisture left on the fabric can lead to mildew or mold growth, which will ruin the material and cause unpleasant odors. Next, fold your cotton bedding neatly and place it inside a breathable storage bag or container. Avoid using plastic bags or containers as they trap moisture and promote bacterial growth. It's also a good idea to store your cotton bedding in a cool, dry place that's out of direct sunlight. Heat and humidity can damage the fibers of the material over time, causing them to break down more quickly than normal wear and tear would do. Try to avoid stacking heavy items on top of stored cotton bedding as this can cause wrinkles and creases that are difficult to remove later on. By following these simple steps you'll be able to keep your cotton bedding fresh, clean, and ready for use whenever you need it!
Tips for Making Cotton Bedding More Comfortable
One of the best things about duvet covers is how comfortable it can be. However, sometimes even the softest cotton sheets and duvet covers need a little extra help to make them feel truly luxurious. Here are some tips for making your cotton bedding more comfortable: 1. Use natural fiber fabrics: Cotton blends might be cheaper, but they don't have the same softness and breathability as pure cotton or linen fabrics. 2. Wash before using: New bedding can have sizing or other chemicals that make them stiff and uncomfortable. So always wash your new sheets before using them to soften their fibers. 3. Use fabric conditioner: Fabric conditioners can help keep your cotton bedding soft over time by reducing friction between fibers during washing and drying cycles. 4. Avoid high heat settings when washing or drying: High heat settings may damage the delicate fibers in your bedding, leading to roughness or pilling over time. 5. Rotate your bedding frequently: Even with proper care, all materials wear out eventually so rotate different sets of sheets regularly so you won't get too attached to just one set! By following these simple tips, you'll enjoy a better night's sleep on softer and comfier cotton beddings!
How cotton bedding benefits us?
Cotton bedding 3 tog duvet has numerous benefits that go beyond just providing a comfortable sleeping experience. For starters, cotton is a natural and breathable fabric that allows for proper air circulation, which helps to regulate body temperature during sleep. Additionally, cotton bedding is hypoallergenic and does not irritate the skin, making it an ideal choice for those with sensitive skin or allergies. It also absorbs moisture well, which can help prevent bacteria growth and keep your bed fresh. Another benefit of cotton bedding is its durability and longevity. Good quality cotton sheets can withstand frequent washing without losing their softness or color vibrancy. This makes them a cost-effective investment in the long run. Moreover, buying cotton bedding supports sustainable agriculture as it encourages farmers to grow more organic crops instead of using harmful chemicals and pesticides on their farms. There are many reasons why choosing cotton bedding is beneficial for our health, comfort and environment.
Conclusion
Cotton bedding is a fantastic investment for a comfortable and healthy night's sleep. It is easy to care for if you follow these simple tips. Remember to clean your bedding regularly, store it correctly, and make it more comfortable by using fabric softeners or dryer balls. Cotton bedding has numerous benefits such as being hypoallergenic, durable, breathable and eco-friendly. Additionally, when looking for duvet covers or duvet sets online, consider searching with relevant keywords such as cot bed duvet, 3 tog duvet for summer use, baby's cot duvet or even a 15 tog winter-weighted blanket depending on your needs.
