I've been cooking up a 60s band au on discord with Thun and Beez and I'll just copy paste what I've been putting there to keep track of it

OK I tried to keep in mind their canon outfits (like giving Julian colored lenses like his plague doctor mask), their animal associations (giving Nadia a feather like pattern on her dress), and their development notes (like leaving Asra's heart exposed) also things like giving Nadia a very trendy look for the time since she's always on top of trends in the game

more drawings to come, under the read more were my initial thoughts for the au

I think based off the game it would make sense for

>Asra to be the singer (is said to be both a good singer and dancer)

>Nadia would be the keyboardist (she plays the piano)

>Julian would be the bassist (he plays a stringed instrument the player asks about and I don't remember the name of it) (I was torn on guitarist or bassist but I think bassist works for that "why are the singer and bassist always dating" meme I keep seeing in band spaces)

>Portia and Muriel would be roadies (they both enjoy physical labor and Muriel is shy as hell there's no way he's going on stage)

>Lucio would be the bodyguard bc he likes to fight people. he really wants to be the singer though (which ties into him being jealous of Asras magic skills) he fucking LOVES the energy of the atmosphere

that means they don't have a drummer or guitarist but that's okay the actual band aspect isn't that important anyway. it's mostly heehee silly outfits

AND THEN when Thunderlina asked about the courtiers I said

maybe "something something Lucio wants to be the singer so he makes a deal with the devil for his own band members and is provided with Those Fuckers"

Amulet of Planes:

While wearing this Amulet, you can use an action to name a location that you are familiar with on another plane of existence. Then make a DC 15 Intelligence check. On a successful check, you cast the Plane Shift spell. On a failure, you and each creature and object within 15 feet of you Travel to a random destination. Roll a d100. I really enjoy your Spideytorch fic recs, so if you can, could you please recommend any for the trope where Johnny is friends with Peter, but doesn't know he's Spiderman and falls in love with one identity over the other. So then Peter is in a dilemma of whether or not he should say anything about his identity to Johnny.

I have some recs! These should all more or less fit your request -- they’re all Spideytorch dealing, in one way or another, with Peter’s hidden identity, although there’s some variety -- the Star Wars AU, for example, has him pretending to be Bobby Drake, and Built To Fall Apart (And Fall Back Together) has multiple Peters and Johnnys, where one of the Peters doesn’t even know himself that he’s Spider-Man. They’re all really excellent fics that I highly recommend!

Strength: You can guess what this is, how good you hit with both your basic attack and physical skills.

Magic: Same as strength but for magic skills.

Endurance: Ability to tank physical and resist magic.

Agility: How soon you go in the turn order.

Luck: Criticals and hit and evasion ratio.

Also, for the sake of this, I’m simplifying this to my ideal Persona skill list, that being three types of Physical skill, Slash, strike, and pierce, and eight types of magic. I’ll put down the names of what they’re referred to here as two types of magic skills have completely separate lines of skills, one for regular attacking, one for instant kills.

June:

June is, of course, Miss Main Character meaning she has the special privilege of having more than one Persona, which in turn means her starting Persona is trash and will not be leaving dungeon two, if lucky. It would probably have basic skills such as Garu and Bash, nothing too advanced.

Rose:

Rose would very much be a magic based attacker, specializing in the Eiha and Mudo line with a weakness to Bless. She would also probably have a variety of debuffs and buffs. Her basic attack with her needles is Pierce, btw.

Dave:

Dave is very much likely the physical attacker of the team for the early game until you get Dirk. Not to say they’re the same, I’ll elaborate more when we get to Dirk. Dave would be slow and focus more on big hitting single target moves as opposed to hitting multiple enemies. He also would use fire spells, but like, would top out with a heavy single target fire spell at the mid 60’s or so.

Jade:

It was hard figuring out Jade, but I’m pretty sure she’d be an all arounder. Good with magic, physical spells, healing and debuffs. She wouldn’t excel in any of these, but she’d be all around pretty good with most of these and would probably serve as the healer early game until you get *him* later. Btw, her spell line is Bufu.

Dirk:

As mentioned back with Dave, Dirk is less big number than Dave and is more do combo, if you get what I’m trying to say. Basically, Dave is good with crushing a boss with hard hitting physical attacks, while Dirk is great with using a Power Charge, a skill that powers up your next physical attack by 2.5, and then slicing through enemies with a multi hitting skill that hits 1-2 times. He also has better agility then Dave and is faster. Also, he uses the Zio line of spells.

Jane:

Jane is the navigational support in every modern Persona game. That doesn’t mean she’s just an excuse for why the map fills in, no. She can support the party by giving them buffs, healing their life or mana, giving them a shield from enemy attacks, etc. etc.

Roxy:

This is the him I was talking about back in Jade’s section. Roxy is an incredibly good character for magical attacks and support having access to the best healing moves available. Psi line, btw. He has very good agility, very good magic, and good everything else.

Jake:

Jake is a magic monster in terms of skill due to being in the late game, having incredibly good stats in Magic and Agility. His main line is the Frei line, but he also has great skills from the other lines of magic, as well as the Almighty line’s Megidola.

Calliope:

She’s really late in the game so just give her the most overpowered shit imaginable. She’s got the Kouha and Hama lines, she has the Megido line, she’s basically only there for the last two dungeons. Extremely good stats across the board, just the most overpowered party member you can possibly imagine.

And that’s the party! Now, I could go into a full, true Persona AU for Homestuck, but our lovely Wak hasn’t played any of the games, so I can’t go into full detail about Social Links and Arcana and stuff like that. I spent an hour writing this, it’s two in the morning, I’m going to listen to some tunes.

REANNE’S PERSONA —P5 AU ALTERNATIVE: PERSONA USER

**NOTICE: I will be changing skills and element affinities due to how I perceive the lore of her persona and how I would think these things would work with Reanne’s character (IE. I will be taking some creative liberty to implement both my ideas and what ‘canon’ I have read in terms of skill allocation). Not to mention, the wiki only shows end-game level (?) skills with multiple elements across skills (which would be unfair on non-player character personas). With that, I feel like I can skew the rules a little bit if I simply narrow this down to one elemental focus with a few weak, off-hand skills of different elements.

I will also go over the lore I’ve read pertaining to the persona of choice and how it connects/has parallels to Reanne’s background. [Source: one]

SECTION 1: THE PERSONA

Inanna; Inanna is an ancient Mesopotamian goddess associated with love, beauty, sex, war, justice and political power. Many of her myths involve her taking over the domains of other deities. She was believed to have stolen the mes, which represented all positive and negative aspects of civilization. Inanna is typically the name associated with the feminine aspects of her domain, being that of love, beauty, and sex.

Ishtar; 2ND TIER (max confidant), now recognized as Inanna by a different name, but were once separate deities. Ishtar is associated with the more masculine aspects of her domain, being that of war and justice. [learns “evade psy”]

Aphrodite Urania; 3RD TIER (max confidant + 3rd semester),  the epithet of the Greek goddess Aphrodite distinguishing her as the more heavenly and pure form of love. Those who worship her dedicated a statue of her and two others to expel lust and evil desires from the hearts of men.

SECTION 2: HOW IT ALL CONNECTS

STORY 1: Inanna demands to visit the underworld to attend the funeral rights of the ruler’s—her sister’s—husband, and she is dressed in notably fancy clothing, which contains all her power. The guard reports this to her sister and her sister says: "Bolt the seven gates of the underworld. Then, one by one, open each gate a crack. Let Inanna enter. As she enters, remove her royal garments." The guard obeys and allows Inanna through only after she has discarded every garment she had been wearing, resulting in her losing her power. Upon being allowed in, Inanna makes her sister rise from her throne and takes a seat there herself, inciting the anger of the masses. As punishment, Inanna was turned into a corpse and hung. After three days and nights, her father is convinced by Inanna’s messenger to help save her from her fate. He sends two messengers to retrieve her from the underworld and after their insistence in wanting Inanna back, the underworld ruler revives her and let’s her leave with the condition that someone must take her place. Inanna picks her unfaithful lover to take her place in the underworld.

HOW IT PARALLELS: Reanne wants acceptance at the family table / acceptance and love from her parents (the initial demand of wanting to visit the underworld). Her younger self did try to get that affection, causing the young girl to throw away herself to be accepted by acting as her father wished for her to act (the removal of clothes), but after that she acts in defiance and anger from what has been taken—the argument she had with her dad that resulted in her fearing him and hating her reflection—especially her freckles—in the mirror (taking her sister’s place on the throne). This leads to the punishment of her starvation periods and her near obsession with keeping herself pretty, effectively “killing” her old self that existed prior to this (being killed for defiance). 

The two messengers who saved her could be represented via Keiran (her most recent ex-boyfriend whom she had a decent relationship with) and Joker (or any person who would “start” her confidant). <- this would be where she would start in terms of gameplay/story.

STORY 2: Inanna was at the age of marriage. She gets to choose between a farmer and a shepherd. She likes the farmer more but is swayed to marry the shepherd due to family opinions and eventually marries the shepherd. In the end, the shepherd and farmer reconcile their differences and offer each other gifts.

HOW IT PARALLELS: Reanne’s father had set her up with many suitable partners (suitable in the sense they had good looks and lots/notable amount of money in their pockets) over the course of a couple years. She was not given the choice to pick who she wanted to be with and relationships would end whenever he felt like it wasn’t plotting out how he liked. The main point is that she was forced into relationships she didn’t want whatsoever, although she got some happiness in the end in the form of Keiran despite their relationship being cut off abruptly.

STORY 3: Inanna wants to claim a specific temple as part of her domain. She seeks out to do just that. With the advice of a fisherman, she is directed the best path to reach the temple. After her meeting with her father (and potentially telling him her achievement) he is shocked by her arrogance but lets her have the temple as part of her domain.

HOW IT PARALLELS: This story would connect to Reanne’s life story after she started both university and therapy sessions. Upon both her and her father seeking help for their issues, they begin to bridge the gap between them and come to terms with how their past interactions have been. Reanne actively seeks out chances to call him out and refuses to let him off easy in terms of making things up to her. However, this helps in the long run as her father learns how to truly appreciate her the way she deserves.

MINOR TIDBIT(S) OF LORE: 

Inanna’s followers are often referred to as her cult.

HOW IT CONNECTS:  The numerous guys with ill motives/character who keep trying to make advances on her is enough to have a parallel here, especially with how far they’ll go to keep insisting she comply with their whims. The negative connotation is enough for me here. In other words, she does have a “following”, but it’s not the best kind.

A story of Inanna’s conquests notes the things she stole were poems about abstract concepts such as truth, victory, counsel, and more things about civilization. Although, the documents she stole do end up being taken back in the end.

HOW IT CONNECTS: Reanne typically feels/acts as though she is in a battle/argument and has a need to come out on top/victorious to prove herself as better and in the right way of living—hence any knowledge on ways  to achieve “victory” would be sought after. With Reanne struggling to operate properly in social situations, being told of her missteps and interacting with people at all would surely improve her chances in functioning normally/as society deems proper as she does want to fit in with a group and have friends aligned with her morals. The documents being taken back could be representative of Reanne going around in circles of progressing then relapsing in character development,  being blind to things that would obviously help make her life better, or being incapable of applying what she has been told.

Hello & welcome to my information page for commissions! Here you can find all of my rules and my pricing, which is conveniently listed at the top.

Examples of my writing can be found on my AO3, or in my WRITING TAG.

If you’re feeling generous but can’t afford commissions, my Ko-fi, which can be found HERE, is always open!

Without further ado, I’d like to lay out a few, relatively simple rules:

Commission Slots & Pricing

Ficlets, 500-750 words, are $25.

One-shots, 1000-1750 words, are $60.

I can also be commissioned to continue a chaptered fic that has not yet been updated. The cost is $120.

Reader inserts only. Commissions can be written from the perspective of a gender neutral reader by default, but it can be specified. 

I will write smut! That being said, I will not write anything involving pedophilia, necrophilia, anything involving human waste, anything involving feet, bestiality, or intense gore. 

Violence, substance abuse, dark themes and sex can definitely be incorporated. F/F, M/M and F/M relationships are all okay with me, as are nonbinary characters!
