It's pretty interesting that the Blacksmith has records of Hunters from Remnant despite being in the Ever After, so I think they might be Alyx reincarnated.

Both Alyx and the Blacksmith are designed with Afro-centric features in mind (for me the hair locs in the Blacksmith were the main giveaway).

Alyx's waistband looks similar to the colours of the locs.

And we can't forget the quote from the latest episode, "Alyx wanted to fix everything she broke in the Ever After." And guess what blacksmiths do.

An old Alyx drawing I decided to revamp and go a little crazy with textures…..can you tell I got a bit overzealous. Anyway the concept was that Eli keeps this photo of his daughter around so it’s gotten a bit crumpled and worn.

The only reason I finished this drawing way back was thanks to a generous commissioner (@ nimorp on twitter! ) so I’m eternally grateful for that. Anyway hope you like it Vance nation…..I’m officially out of old art to lazily repost here…though I put genuine effort into updating this piece!! Enjoy

I’ve been thinking about semi-sentient Ever After

This place that is so full of life and magic that it created two deific beings all by itself. This place that cares so much that even when its citizens die they get a chance to come back better

I’m thinking about the Ever After seeing this sad scared boy who needs time to heal more than anything else, and growing a tree designed to give him exactly that

I’m thinking about the Ever After seeing this sad scared girl who needs to slow down and feel her feelings, and then raining tears of sympathy when she finally stops and cries

I’m thinking about the Ever After seeing these two who are so clearly in love and building them a bridge that will lead them to each other

I’m thinking about the Ever After seeing a sad angry woman want nothing more than her best friend to come back, and giving her that in the way she NEEDS just doesn’t think she does

I’m thinking about the Ever After seeing two sad scared children fall through the world and making sure they find the one person who can protect them

Jaune would get home and go to his room and see Weiss sleeping which would make him smile and then he would go to his son and daughter's room and lean on the crib leaving his hand close to his babies.

Jaune: I hope I can be a good father to you two…

When Jaune would say that he would be hugged from behind and saw that it was Weiss with a calm and slightly serious expression on her face.

Weiss: How many times will I have to repeat to you that you will be a good father..

Jaune turned around hugging Weiss too and would caress her face and take the opportunity to kiss her on the forehead which would form a comfortable smile on her face.

Jaune: hehe I know you've repeated this several times but I keep remembering what happened with Lewis and Alyx..

Jaune would say that and have a sad expression on his face and Weiss would notice by placing one of her hands on his face and with a warm and comfortable smile.

Weiss: Jaune, what happened to alyx and lewis wasn't your fault, alyx was just a scared child who preferred to follow her fear but look on the bright side you were a great figure for lewis who made you be marked as one of the best hunters in the history of remmant heh.

Weiss would pull Jaune for a kiss and he would kiss back and after a few minutes the two would look at their babies and a smile forms on Jaune's face with some tears of joy.

Jaune: I promise we will be the best parents in the world.

Weiss: And I always believe in your promises.

Jaune would place his hand on the crib and see his son holding his finger, forming a small smile on the baby's face.

Been a while since I drew Voices AU

Jaune wakes up in his hut on the outskirts of the Paper Pleaser village and his everything hurts. His brain is foggy, his mouth feels like cotton and sand, and his bones feel like jello

Did he get sick or something?

Familiar nausea swells in him and he rolls over. Someone is here. Not a Pleaser. He tenses for a second before he recognizes that it’s just Alyx.

Alyx is here, that’s nice. He’s supposed to be protecting HER, and here she is watching out for him

“Hey kiddo… Whas goin’…” His slurred words trail off as his brain catches up to his ears

She’s murmuring something, her voice whisperey like wind through leaves and nothing like the cymbals loud yells he remembers. Jaune frowns, and even that much makes his head hurt. “Are you okay? Where’s Lew…”

Alyx meets his eyes. They’re pure bone white. He finally registers the blood on her chest, and his own blood runs cold

Jaune doesn’t remember stumbling from the house. He doesn’t remember mounting Juniper. He doesn’t remember the tears building in his eyes. He doesn’t even remember that Alyx poisoned him, not until much later

No, what sticks in his mind are the echoey words the ghost of a young explorer repeats as she follows him

“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, I’m sorry. I’m sorry…”
