Intrepid Heroes by How Powerful they are in Dnd Combat/10
Siobhan Thompson 7/10 - Plays it by the book, wants to win. The most prepared to kill Brennan in real life.
Ally Beardsley 9/10 - Renowned dice deity. Impossible to see coming. Impossible to track tactically. Big swings and big rolls to back it up. A force of nature.
Lou Wilson 5/10 - Will die for the bit. Always plays the character and the story first, even at the cost of his life. That said, sometimes playing the story will unlock a game changer that playing it tactically never could have.
Zac Oyama 6/10 - Just there to have a good time. Will kill if it’s convenient to him. One liners so devastating they have a mechanical effect.
Brian “Murph” Murphy 6/10 - Robust technical knowledge and possibly the most tactics-forward PC. Knows how to minmax but doesn’t go out of his way to do so. Pretty by the book. Famously despised by dice gods everywhere.
Emily Axford 10/10 - A maniac’s stewpot of technical skill, combat optimization, creative chaos, and killer instinct. Sees opportunities, weaponizes them, and obliterates the opposition.
Worlds Beyond Number is wild because Brennan Lee Mulligan uses every ounce of his philosophic and empathetic learnings to create the most heartrending situations and scenes
Then, like an emotional devastation katamari, this fucker picks up THREE whole ass other people like him. Lou Wilson, who will make you cry while you’re in the middle of laughing. Aabria Iyengar, who is a fucking genius and dives full ass into her character’s flaws because your heart will die of a thousand cuts when it all hits. And Erika Ishii. At first blush, a bit of a clown, albeit a sultry one when they want to be. More than happy to play the fool. Lets you underestimate them, so you let them get close, and when you realize how deep you’re in it’s too late
So these FOUR chucklefucks, these four geniuses of humor and tragedy, hire a fucking Maestro of Sound Design in Taylor Moore to produce their home game. And everything is tighter. And even more immersive. And heartwrenching and hilarious and cozy and creepy.
Anyway, this team of FIVE people decide that they’re going to make one of the best podcasts currently airing and it’s only nine episodes in.
Been too busy working on my short film to finish that TWTWATWO animation I started just yet, but I decided to take a couple hours of my time to put together this little animatic after listening to part of this Fireside Chat(Episode 17).
This is extremely cut down, you should check out their Patreon if you'd like to hear them go much more in depth about this and a bunch of other things!
I actually made this the day I heard the episode, but waited a few weeks so I wasn't instantly releasing audio from paywall content haha
Loki's inner transformation is strikingly prominent. He's not the absolute chaos that he was when he was brought to the TVA for the first time.
His kindness, gratitude and selfless love surface during his stay in the TVA. His unwavering faith in his newfound family in the TVA is all the proof we need. He never gets tired of defending and appreciating his loved ones.
house: this has absolutely nothing to do with wilson
also house: [brings up wilson unprompted] [spends 95% of the session either talking about wilson or deliberately avoiding talking about wilson] [literally admits it’s about wilson]
The Bad Kids are the best Intrepid Heroes party simply because Fabian gifts them all magic items secretly when he decides they should all be friends and it’s the best choice Lou could have ever made as a PC.
