yeah starlight is ultimately what got me to stop watching mlp. I just cannot stand her. She never changes as a person and is constantly given rewards without having to ever do anything. AND SHE IS SO MEAN TO TRIXIE i do not get why they are shipped so much. Starlight is awful to her. And I feel like the message of rehabilitation gets kinda lost when starlight quite literally tries to erase twilight from existence.
Agreed! I put Startrix in the same category as Fluttercord where it's like. okay. i see the blueprint, i understand the appeal here but the actual execution is too wonky for me. Starlight why did you trade her HOUSE
I feel like the writer's room really liked Starlight and wanted to give her all these fun kooky friends without building up her redemption. Mentioning how you used to be a cult leader every now and again is a bit much, especially when so little time is given to developing her as a protagonist.
