#cardoftheday is from one of my #favorite decks #ostaratarot . This is a deck that was created through a #collaboration of #tumblr creators.

As you know if you have been around for any time, I love decks that are tied to our #sabbats. And with #ostara at the end of #march, it is natural that I would want to do this deck this month.

We start with #aceofpentacles in #reverse. Silly me... with those lofty lofty #goals. In reverse this card is a bit a of a reality check to, basically, not count those chickens before they are hatched.

But I think my favorite meaning of this card is that we as humans are not in control of nature. As we move into early #spring and the #wild#weather that bings to my area, I am well aware that a frost can take out anything I plant too early.

How do I change this to something empowering {Ace of Pentacles & King of Wands}? ⠀⠀ ♓️ I know my energy is a bit scattered, both in thoughts, inspiration, and the followup action. Ace of coins The ace of coins represents prosperity, abundance, hope, and beginnings. An overall positive card. I've illustrated this card with a white buffalo which is a symbol of abundance. When a white buffalo is born, it is a sign of hope. I've also chosen a buffalo as when the card is in reverse, it means to use caution. You don't want to be caught in a stampede of some kind. The flowers shown here are hyssop and a daisy. The hyssop is a symbol of self sacrifice which can be one way one might acquire their new wealth. A daisy represents hope and innocence. There is also a few stalks of wheat which symbolize prosperity.
