i've noticed a difference between autism twitter and autism tumblr from the big algorithm-controlled posts I usually see:

autism twitter makes me feel like i'm not allowed to say autism disables me or causes problems in life

i feel like people who don’t like cats just don’t understand when they’re setting a boundary. usually the “swat” they refer to comes after multiple other warnings that the cat doesn’t want to be touched anymore 🤷‍♀️

Exactly! People who hate them often just fundamentally misunderstand how cats work: you have to earn their trust and respect, it's not just freely given. It takes more effort to bond with a cat than a dog, at least in my experience, unless the dog has issues trusting people (like a rescue dog for example). Having a cat is less like having a pet and more like having a roommate. Respect their boundaries and spend time with them when they want it, and a cat will be loyal and loving. Disrespect their boundaries and ignore them, and they'll be rude and destructive because they're bored.

Also too many people have the impression that a cat doesn't want/need attention at all- sure they're quite independent and can entertain themselves, but they can also be really needy and crave attention; I have a cat who follows me everywhere and demands to be played with and cuddled, haha. People who hate cats are really missing out.

Something I forgot to mention in this post about 8th house synastry!! I've noticed for some reason this overlay tends to manifest more positively when the house person already has 8th house placements in their natal chart (not a guarantee tho). I feel like its because this makes the house person be more naturally in their power and the planet person no longer feels like they can have control over the house person.
