Yautja x Reader

Summary: After giving birth to your first child, your body needs some serious healing to do. You were thankful to have a husband who does take good care of you.

It took you 45 long hours of hard labour.

Many of those hours you spent awake, in pain.

They couldn’t even give you pain relief, too afraid to use any dosage, fearing the side-effects of it on you or your baby.

You understood, but the pain was almost unbearable.

Due to Yautja customs, your husband had to stay out of the room, only the healer and a couple of her helpers were allowed to stay.

None of which knew exactly what to do with you.

They were used to Yautja giving birth, not humans.

Your husband nearly broke the door down, listening to you screaming in pain broke him.

And he was one of the strongest of the tribe.

But hearing his little human be in so much pain, knowing he couldn’t do a thing made him extremely anxious. 

You heard his footsteps from inside, loud strides along the hallway just outside of the door. It did help you a tiny bit, knowing he was right there. 

But as he stopped during his steps, silence followed.

It almost suffocated him. 

The complete silence was worse than the screams of pain.

He prepared for the worst.

He prepared for that he just lost his wife and child and he couldn’t do a thing, but then, a loud cry.

A cry of a youngling, so loud, so strong, he fell to his knees.

The child was okay, now, he was worried about you.

When a healer opened the door, he was quick to rush in.

Your eyes found his and he felt so full. 

All women left the room, leaving the couple with their child.

And once more, he fell to his knees, right by your side. He looked at the side of the bed, clicking his mandibles as he let out a sound.

“It’s a boy. We have a son.” he heard you, and even if human language still proved to be difficult for him, he understood the word son.

He looked up at you and then at his child, his son.

He ran a finger down your face, showing his gratitude towards you.

You were a family.

Your son liked to sleep.

That was clear, and you were thankful for the hours of silence.

Your body needed to heal as it went through a lot.

Giving birth to a Yautja was a difficult task. 

You wanted to take a bath.

Your husband helped you into the warm water as he stayed by your side in the bathroom.

Sitting beside the tub with one hand in the water to make sure the temperature was right.

He knew you needed to heal, and so, he tried his best to always help you with anything you needed. Let that be food or a bath, and even helping with the child.

He was a great father, he liked to watch you feed your son, he adored the way you would kiss his little forehead, much like how you do it to him.

His eyes never leaving you, you could have fallen asleep in the bath. 

When you got out, your husband make sure to wrap you in fur and carried you into your bedroom. You smiled when you saw your son sleeping on your bed, all curled up in his little fur, sleeping soundly.

Your husband placed you next to him and you were quick to pick him up and place him on your chest.

Your little one stirred in his sleep but soon found comfort again and fell asleep.

You smiled and placed a kiss on his little head.

You looked up and found your husband looking at the two of you as he sat down on the bed.

You smiled when you saw the shine in his eyes. When you first met, you were terrified, his eyes were the first thing you have seen when you woke up, his eyes looked empty.

But now, he had a purpose, a clan of his own. And his eyes filled with love and care.

Liam - Tsundere Boyfriend

"Uh... What is this, some kind of a test? You know how I feel about those!"

Liam paused the question, his eyebrows furrowing. "Yes, I love you. Obviously."

Torbeck - Alien

Torbeck turned around and blinked in confusion. His eyes widened when his gaze settled on you. He let his cloak drop to the ground and smiled slightly. "I love you. Why would you even think that I didn't?" He took your hands into his and held them tight. He pulled you close and kissed your forehead.

"You're the love of my life." He whispered and pressed another kiss to your forehead. "Always and forever."

Bardulf - Werewolf

The massive werewolf sat up right as he saw you enter the room. His tail wagged excitedly as he stared into your beautiful eyes. He was silent for a moment. Then, he answered. “I will always care for you. I will always protect you. I believe that’s the definition of love.”

Kane - Mafia Boss

Kane is surprised at your sudden question. “Hmmm” he looks you, trying to figure out why you suddenly out of the blue asks him that… “Love you? I don’t like you, and let’s just say I do like you. Why would I tell you?”

"Just tell me."

“Ugh, you want that from me. Don’t tell anyone though.” He rolls his eyes. “Yes… I love you.”

Damien - Shy Boy

"I- um.. i-..." The usually quiet boy is visibly blushing. It's like he's never been asked a question like this in his life, yet here he is, you, asking that question. "Y-yes.. I do.." He managed to muster.

Taariq - Alien

The creature looked back and the large mandibles opened. His long forked tongue slithered from between his teeth.

"I would die for you."

The alien stared directly into your eyes and his tail curled close. His huge chest rose and fell as he breathed. If this creature could, he would purr and curl up in your lap.

Malik - Loving Boyfriend

Malik was a little startled by the suddenness but quickly smiles and nods.

"I'd never want to spend my life with anybody else. You're the most amazing partner in the whole world. I'd never want someone else's hand in mine other than yours. Of course I love you."

Raivo - Demon Prince

He smiled at you. "Of course, I do!"

His eyes darkened a little. "Though I must ask. What's brought this question about?" His smile was warm as he walked closer to you.

"Just wondering."

"Oh. Well, don't worry, my dear. I love you very much. Now, what can I do you for, my love?" He reached out a clawed hand for you to take. He was gentle with you despite his rough appearance; his claws even retracted around you, so that he would not accidentally hurt you.

Muriel - Chubby Boyfriend

His eyes widened at the sudden question. A confused look crossed his face. Muriel’s face turns scarlet at your question. He chuckled nervously, smiling as he then nodded.

"Of course, you know I love you. You never have to ask me that." His words were soft yet confident. They were the most truthful he had ever spoken.

Aaron - Vampire

Aaron’s eyes widened and his smile faded away. He stared at you, confused and hurt. He put the wine glass down and reached out to you. “Is this a joke? Did you really just ask me that? Do I love you? I devote every waking and sleeping moment to you! What sort of question is that?!”

"I was just curious is all."

Aaron’s frown returned. He looked at you, his lips curling down into a disappointed scowl. “A bit more than curious, I would say. I could never see myself with anyone else, Y/n. We are bound to one another, by something that surpasses love."

Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3: Dating A-spen Headcanons

Dating A-spen would include...

|| When A-spen wants some alone time with you, since most of the aliens are living in Seabrook, they’ll just beam you up into Mothership to hang out, watch movies, whatever. As long as it’s the two of you together, they’re happy.

|| Be careful though, cause if Mothership catches a hint of you mistreating her child, she will come after you.

|| A-spen is really curious about basic life on Earth. They will listen to you talk all day about something as simple as frozen yogurt to as complex as the modern relationship between werewolves and zombies.

|| Along with this, however, comes the fact that A-spen also loves to share their knowledge, which happens to come in more existential “what is the purpose of life” and “oh my god your tiny little planet is so cute and miniscule” type comments.

|| Eventually, as they become more accustomed to human emotions, they’ll learn how these topics can be a bit... depressing.

|| There are few things you may be more knowledgeable about than A-spen, these things mostly being human emotions, basic technology (such as pencil sharpeners, cell phones, perhaps dishwashers), and Earth species culture.

|| A-spen will absolutely destroy you in any trivia you play. They are literally the smartest person you have ever met and you will never top them when it comes to scientific knowledge. Consider any game of chess, checkers, or even MarioKart you play already lost.

|| They may let you win once or twice, just to see the smile on your face they know and love.

|| A-spen quickly becomes a huge fan of dramatic rom coms, telenovelas, and k-dramas. Be prepared for many nights of crying over whether or not your favorite characters end up together in the end. Not too mention, they LOVE the opportunity to cuddle up with you while watching tv together.

|| A-spen has mentioned once or twice the idea of taking you into space to see some of their favorite sights of the galaxy, and they may or may not be working on some special upgrade for Mothership to allow you to safely travel for this to happen.

|| A-spen relies on you to help them understand any new or strange emotions. Once, when some flirted with you, A-spen was so confused at the strange mix of anger and protectiveness they were feeling until you explained it was jealousy. A-spen was horrified by the emotion, but you were secretly happy they would feel that way over you.
