Aigis is aware that she is nothing but an android to fight the shadows and thats something that she constantly repeats to herself and others, so, even when the members of SEES (including you) treat her as an equal she simply has problems changing her way of seeing herself

For being an android she has a hard time understanding the feelings, specially hers since she just underestimate her more human side, so the moment she developed a crush on you she simply take it as part of her duty as new member of SEES to help you and protect you

The more time it pass of you two being together the more her feelings grow, wich only leaded Aigis to act a bit more reckless, she doesn't understand why she constantly thinks about you and want to be with you but she simply decided to follow her wishes as she trust in her instict

Aigis start to sneak into your room at morning to wake you up and always greet you at the dorms' door right after the school day finished, even suddenly appearing at your side to make sure you are properly taking if yourself

Aigis tries to wait with patience until she finally had the permision to went out of the dorms but since she simply couldn't stop thinking about you she mistook her feelings as a bad feeling of maybe something bad happening to you, so at some point Aigis just started to leave the dorms to search for you

Aigis didn't wanted to get in troubles nor cause you troubles so at first she just sneaked out of the doorms to check on you, watching from afar before forcing herself to go back to the dorms since she still hasn't the permision to be outside, but as time pass and the more she sneaked out of the dorms the more she wanted to stay a little longer and even go to you, besides, she also started to feel some jealousy about the poeple around you, so at the end she was unable to stop herself from going directly towards you

No matter if she is scolded by you or someone else Aigis simply can't stop herself, when you less expected she is already at your side on school (most of the time during lunch break or when is over), appearing out of nowhere and imediatly calling for you, almost ignoring everyone else

She will be quite upset if you end up scolding her but that will only stop her for a few days, but if you simply gave up and let her be by your side she is visibly more happy

If someone ask her she bluntly says that she needs to by at your side without an explanation since she can't neither fully understand it, but at this point she doesn't question it neither, she simply follow her wishes and hopes that the time when she is allowed to go to school arrive soon to be at your side during the classes too!

My cousin's wife is working from home as an ESL teacher (we are in Europe), teaching Chinese students. The pay is good and as far as I've been told, there is a good amount of demand from the Chinese job market for ESL teachers and, while having a degree in linguistics (foreign languages) or teaching is a plus for an applicant, it's not really demanded. You only need to have a good grasp of the English language and preferably have a document/certificate that proves your English level (either TOEFL or IELTS).

Another suggestion I'd give is learning and mastering a programming language if you manage to land a job as an ESL. Decide whether you want to be a front-end developer (basically developing/designing/maintaining the user interface) or a back-end developer (if you want to bother with maintaining the server side of things) and the area you want to focus on. If you go for web development then, considering your experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript, you could go with Node.js or Django/Flask if you want to learn something new for back-end development and go with React.js for front-end development. Otherwise go for mobile apps development using android studio. It's in very high demand, at least in Europe, but you have to be good at it. Create a good portfolio of programming projects which e.g are useful as a solution for a problem you or someone might have encountered in their daily life if you go for app development, or create user-friendly (this is very important) websites.

As for my last advice, is actually creating an account on Linkedin. You'll be able to connect with various professionals and companies throughout the world , gather information for various topics and see job listings for your preferred field of work, but most importantly, it will serve as a boost to the visibility/exposure of your skills or simply as a CV. It will increase your chances of finding a remote job.

Banking Trojan Targets Korean Users by Manipulating Android Manifest

A sophisticated new Android malware, dubbed SoumniBot, is making waves for its ingenious obfuscation techniques that exploit vulnerabilities in how Android apps interpret the crucial Android manifest file. Unlike typical malware droppers, SoumniBot's stealthy approach allows it to camouflage its malicious intent and evade detection. Exploiting Android Manifest Weaknesses According to researchers at Kaspersky, SoumniBot's evasion strategy revolves around manipulating the Android manifest, a core component within every Android application package. The malware developers have identified and exploited vulnerabilities in the manifest extraction and parsing procedure, enabling them to obscure the true nature of the malware. SoumniBot employs several techniques to obfuscate its presence and thwart analysis, including: - Invalid Compression Method Value: By manipulating the compression method value within the AndroidManifest.xml entry, SoumniBot tricks the parser into recognizing data as uncompressed, allowing the malware to evade detection during installation. - Invalid Manifest Size: SoumniBot manipulates the size declaration of the AndroidManifest.xml entry, causing overlay within the unpacked manifest. This tactic enables the malware to bypass strict parsers without triggering errors. - Long Namespace Names: Utilizing excessively long namespace strings within the manifest, SoumniBot renders the file unreadable for both humans and programs. The Android OS parser disregards these lengthy namespaces, facilitating the malware's stealthy operation.

The malware then initiates a malicious service, conceals its icon to prevent removal, and begins uploading sensitive data from the victim's device to a designated server. Researchers have also highlighted SoumniBot's capability to search for and exfiltrate digital certificates used by Korean banks for online banking services. This feature allows threat actors to exploit banking credentials and conduct fraudulent transactions. Targeting Korean Banking Credentials SoumniBot locates relevant files containing digital certificates issued by Korean banks to their clients for authentication and authorization purposes. It copies the directory containing these digital certificates into a ZIP archive, which is then transmitted to the attacker-controlled server. Furthermore, SoumniBot subscribes to messages from a message queuing telemetry transport server (MQTT), an essential command-and-control infrastructure component. MQTT facilitates lightweight, efficient messaging between devices, helping the malware seamlessly receive commands from remote attackers.
