Home transition 1: … is something on my face? Oh, you think the makeup looks good? Thank you, Vil made me wear it.

Home transition 2: Vil and Crewel are a hazardous duo to deal with, especially when it comes to our clothing and posture. You’d think we’d be performing to the Great Seven of K-EDM culture.

Home transition 3: Singing and dancing at the same time is not as difficult as I presumed it to be. Well, for me that is. Can’t say the same for Azul… or Clover… or Malleus.

Home after login: Welcome back. A little tardy, but back nonetheless.

Tap Home 1: Malleus has a wonderful singing voice, but it’s more suited for slow ballads rather than the modern songs we sing here. He’s struggling to adapt…

• No. not at all. He hates those socks for the life of him, and he REFUSES to wear them. He wears regular white socks instead, I mean it’s not like Azul will take time out of his day to check his fucking feet???? Oh and don’t get him started on those HORRENDOUS shoes 🤮

wound: How does your OC handle being wounded? Are their wounds mostly physical? Mental? Emotional? What's the worst wound your OC has ever experienced?

Aurinelle: Hmm, Aurinelle handles wounds like a champ, at least physically. He could have a pretty deep wound and have basically zero to no reaction to it, though this is also rather dangerous considering it often turns into “I don’t need to treat it, it’ll heal on its own” situation almost all the time. He’s very dismissive about physical damage to himself and often refuses to go to the doctor or nurse, which could eventually lead to a major infection because he’s not getting proper treatment.

While he does have a lot of mental and emotional wounds, his physical wounds are far more abundant, even if they’re not visible at plain sight. He has several deep wounds and cuts on his back, his legs, a permanent bruise that circles his neck which he hides with makeup, and a especially massive gash wound on the left side of his stomach from a life and death confrontation years ago (yes this is all new info).

That gash is his worst physical wound to this time, and the worst emotional and mental wound was probably his separation with his family. His mental state was left permanently damaged and agitated after that.

Paige: Minor physical wounds? He’ll just walk those off. Major physical wounds? He’ll try to walk those off, but will probably start panicking if there’s a lot of blood or a broken bone and will start crying while trying to get his shit together.

Paige’s wounds are mostly mental, from being called a fake fae for not having wings like his mom, to having his trust broken by an adult meant to look after him and her carelessness nearly costing him his life, to being trampled on and almost killed by ignorant people with no awareness to their surroundings. Yeah, this guy’s mentality is as wounded as it can get without him absolutely fucking losing it. But music is therapy so we ball 😝

Worst physical wound experienced was when his leg broke after being stampeded over and having his little kid body absolutely trampled by several adults trying to get a picture with his mum. He walks with a bit of a permanent limp now.

Worst emotional wound? Probably the time his parents accidentally left him behind during one of their almost yearly movings (they thought he was in the backseat). Poor kid nearly lost his mind and swore his parents just didn’t love him, thankfully he knew the neighbors at least enough that they’d be nice enough to let him stay till his parents came back. Worst mental wound was probably the time he drowned, he’s basically hydrophobic now.

Yuiishi: She wants to cry so bad but will hold back tears because crying is fucking embarrassing. She’s not afraid of blood or anything, but she hates being hurt so she has a pretty negative reaction to wounds.

Her wounds are mostly emotional, coming from a toxic religious household where her own opinions are oppressed, she’s always in a constant emotional turmoil.

The worst physical wound she’s ever experienced was probably either accidentally twisting her ankle while roller skating, or that one time she fell off her bike and the handle pierced through her stomach and left a permanent scar.

Worst emotional wound was when she heard her mom being extremely homophobic and judgmental, any thoughts she ever had about coming out shattered right then and there. Worst mental wound would be…. Uh, actually I’ll leave this one out for now. A little too much lore drop.

Unique Magic: Heed My Call. Has the power to hypnotize anyone by singing, allowing him to make them do his bidding. He can also suck out people’s voices as well as their magic to feed his own.

Appearance (Human Form):

Aurinelle has curly knee-length hair the color of freshly fallen snow, with purplish blue that starts at his roots and quickly fades into white. He cares for his hair like his life depends on it. His skin is entirely pale except for the patches of aero blue that surround the scales around his body. His scales are capable of changing color based on his mood, however he’s come to have control over that ability in order to avoid being easily read.

Aurinelle has a lithe body with impressive flexibility and is incredibly tall, towering over most students at a whopping 6’2 feet. His nails are naturally black and he paints over them with different types of glitters and decorations. His low, defined cheekbones make his facials look charmingly youthful. He has droopy hooded eyes colored a golden yellow that fades into a light blue. His eye lashes are long and well taken care of. On the other hand, the underside of his eyes are marked by heavy blueish eye bags (which he’s often nagged about by Vil).

Appearance (Merform):

In his merform, Aurinelle is extremely thin, yet incredibly strong. He is about 7 feet in length, and his entire body is painted in different shades of blues, purples and pinks. His massive tail has many different gems that act as his scales that also change color. His scales shine brightly in the dark, both on land and in the sea. His tail fins are an unadulterated white, which contrast with the rest of his body hue.

When in his merform, the color of his sclera changes from white to pitch black and his irises become solely yellow. The scales on his tail form a pattern of waves that entangle with each other in a sort of Yin Yang formation.

Personality:

Aurinelle is relatively quiet, and always has a resting bitch face on. He’s usually avoided for both his large size and for several lurking rumors about his identity and species, since no one actually knows what he is. He dislikes being questioned about his identity, because to land dwellers and coral sea inhabitants alike, sirens had gone extinct centuries ago. Imagine the ruckus if he were to be found out!

However, unlike many assumptions, Aurinelle is a wonderful listener and an impressive leader. That does not mean he can’t give firm and harsh criticism when required (some people in NRC need a harsh slap from reality). He’s protective of those whom he’s fond of, and is extremely soft to children, singing lovely lullaby songs if his appearance happens to intimidate them. He’s hardly ever deceived (Azul, Jade and Jamil learned that the hard way), and has sharp senses that alert him if someone is nothing but trouble. He hates being watched (cough Rook cough), but he knows the difference when he’s watched out of admiration vs out of spite or the like.

Overall, he’s a misunderstood giant.

monster: Is your OC monstrous in any way? Is there something that makes them monstrous? Are they aware of their own monstrosity? Do they accept it or reject it?

Thanks for the ask Elena! Since you didn't specify whom to answer it for, I'll choose Aurinelle since most question apply to him :)

Monster: Aurinelle himself does not picture himself as “monstrous” in any way, but I guess some people might from an outside point of view. I guess you could say his sheer size in his merform is monstrous, not to mention how horrifying it would look to see a pair of yellow eyes staring at in the pitch dark along with a bunch of tiny little dots (his gems) which the eyes are surrounded with. Yeah, probably not a fun experience.

Aurinelle accepts that not everyone is going to think of him as a regular guy, and he is fine with it. There’s more to life than just appealing to everyone around you, after all (take notes on that Vanes).

Bound: …. I think not answering this one is as much of a spoiler as not answering it so I might as well 😭 but I will not be elaborating or giving specific details, sorry 😣

Aurinelle has indeed been imprisoned before. He was captured by human traffickers (mer traffickers? Idk). He killed the leader to escape. He was left with multiple scars and holes all across his merbody, the worst ones even visible in his human form.

Betrayal: Fortunately, Aurinelle’s trust has never been betrayed by somebody whom he trusted, for he chooses who to trust very, very carefully. And no, he would not dare betray somebody’s trust unless he felt that what they would do or planned to do would be harmful to themselves or to people whom Aurinelle cares about.

The exception is him betraying the trust of people he purposely got close to in order to get intel and has no attachment to. In cases like those, he will indeed betray someone’s trust for his own benefit.

Future: The worst possible outcome? Probably to return home and finding out there was no one left to return to. Aurinelle’s family comes first and foremost to him, and the thought of losing them is enough for him to lose all willingness to live.

However, there is an equally horrid outcome for him, and that is to go back into captivity once again. The thought is just as horrifying for…. Multiple reasons.
