You had the best night’s sleep in weeks. When you woke, you were warm, relaxed, and comfortable.

You murmured Reacher’s name, still half asleep. In your sleepy haze, you believed his strong arms were wrapped tightly around your body. A pleasant dream – or so you thought.

“I’m here, peach pie,” your eyes snapped open, and you stiffened in his embrace. This couldn’t be true. He left. Reacher left town and he never comes back to the place he left. That’s just how he lives his life. “You’re safe with me, Y/N.”

“Reacher?” You choked out his name, more a whimper than a word. “How can you be here? I thought…” You sniffled and shook your head. It had to be a dream. Reacher would never come back for you. “Why are you here?”

“I told you that if I ever come back, it’s for you,” he nuzzled his face in your neck. Reacher moved his hand under your nightie to gently place his big hand on your belly. “Why didn’t you tell me about the baby? I told you that if you ever need help, that’d be there for you, peach pie.”

“Why?”

“You know why, Y/N,” he whispered in your ear. “The better question is, why did you not contact me.”

“You’ve got no phone and after you left I believed that I’ll never see you again,” your voice trembled when you answered his question. “I didn’t want to be a burden and call your friend. I believe they have better things to do than looking for a way to reach you. And I didn’t know if you’d care, Reacher. We barely know each other, and you left before I found out about the baby.”

“Of course I care, peach pie,” he sounded hurt but held you a little tighter. “I care a lot for you, and my baby. I’d do anything to keep you and them safe.”

“I don’t understand how you found out about the baby. I didn’t tell anyone but Sally Ann about the baby—” You gasp. “Frances.”

“Please don’t be mad at her. I asked Neagley to check on you,” Reacher whispered in your ear. “She likes you a lot, and the fact you got a huge collection of cereals in your kitchen.”

You chuckle. “She loves her cereals.”

“That she does.”

“Why did you come back? I had it handled and—” You shook your head. “If you cared for me in the first place, why did you leave me then?”

“My lifestyle is so different from yours and I left because I never stayed in one place for too long,” he exhaled sharply. “I wanted you to not fall for me because I’m not sure how to do normal.”

“Do you think I have a plan? I’m pregnant from a man I barely know. The one sweeping me off of my feet without any effort,” you huffed. “I don’t know what to do. Why are you here? I don’t want you to feel responsible for me and the baby. I let you fuck me bare and are as guilty as you are.”

“I feel responsible because I am responsible for you, and our baby. You’re not a burden, Y/N,” he kissed your temple. “Leaving you and your home was one of the hardest things I ever did. You’re important to me and it pained me to walk out of your life.”

In lack of words, you nodded and sniffled. “You’re important to me too.”

He was silent for a moment. Reacher isn’t a man of many words; you already knew that. “I-I never was good with words or telling another person how I feel. Maybe something is…”

“No,” you wiggled in his embrace to turn around and cup his face. “There is nothing wrong with you, Reacher. You’ve got a big heart, but no roots. It’s normal that you never found a home in any place.”

He closed his eyes when you pressed your lips to his. Reacher didn’t tell you that it felt like coming home when he stepped inside your house again.

It was too soon, and he was scared you wouldn’t believe him. He just came back into your life.

“I made breakfast,” Reacher watched you walk inside the kitchen, a content smile on his lips. “Everything you’ll need to start the day.”

“Morning,” you yawned and rubbed your eyes. “I fell asleep after we talked. Why didn’t you wake me?”

“Uh-I checked in on Finlay and Roscoe. I thought I owed them that much.”

You nodded and gave him a shy smile. Reacher never talked about what happened with KJ, and the others, and you didn’t ask. You’re sure they had it coming.

“I heard Finlay wants to leave,” you said as you walked toward the kitchen island. You hopped onto the counter to watch Reacher finish the scrambled eggs. “I hope he finds happiness again. He looks so sad sometimes.”

“He lost his wife,” Reacher cleared his throat. “The love of his life. I wouldn’t know how to live without—” He bit his tongue. “I hope he finds happiness too.”

“What about Roscoe?” You poked his bicep. “Did you have a good time with her?"

“Peach pie,” he purred and stepped between your legs, “I only have a good time with you around. You know that.”

“Yeah?” you wrapped your arms around his neck. “I bet it’s my peach pie luring you in.”

“Definitely,” he pecked your lips. “It’s soft and warm,” Reacher smirked hearing a tiny whimper escape your lips. “Snug and tight around me.”

“Reacher…” you breathed against his lips. “You’re here…you’re back.” You sniffled. “I can’t believe you are back.”

Reacher wrapped his arms around your body while you slung your legs around his waistline. He walked out of the kitchen with you, something else than the scrambled eggs on his mind.

“I’m back to stay.”

“I don’t have that big and stable bed for no reason,” you giggled at his eagerness. “Just you know, I wasn’t with anyone else.”

“Fuck, I hope so,” he growled and stopped in his tracks. Reacher pressed you against the wall to kiss you hard.

You looked at him, lips pursed. “What about you?”

“Of course not,” he kissed you again; a little softer this time. “I couldn’t get my sweet peach pie out of my head.”

“I’ve missed you too, Reacher.”

For a moment, you looked at each other, having a conversation without words. “I want you so bad,” Reacher broke the silence first. “I need you.”

You whimpered at his admission. Reacher will never know how much you missed him. It felt like he stole a part of your heart and took it with him when he left.

You’d never allow him to leave again. If he tried to sneak out, you’d call Neagley and hunt your man down.

“Well then, let’s go to my bedroom and celebrate our reunion the best way possible…”

My Ninjago Headcannons! (some of them are actually cannon, but idc)

• Jay has naturally red-ish, curly hair and decided to not try to tame it and grew it out starting at Season 8; extremely high pain tolerance (relating to Skybound); ADHD, and lots of energetic outbursts; he can be smart when he really needs to; self-esteem issues; good with anything mechanical; very curious + clever; video game genius; listens to kahoot music on repeat

• Cole isn't very flexible (compared to the other ninjas) because of his muscular body; sweet-tooth; loves food, not very good at cooking, ofc; loves playing and listening to music; good taste in music; literally the BFG; makes a good father figure; really kind; gets back at anyone who hurts people he cares about; literally besties with Kai; grounded and down to earth

• Nya, like Cole, is a terrible cook; tends to rant a lot; Kai's babysitter when he gets mad; sharp, pointed features; EXTREMELY stubborn; exceptional with hands-on situations, but not really good with technical and mentally challenging situations; pretty intense

• Lloyd is also Kai's babysitter when he gets mad; has an extreme sweet-tooth, which outstands even Cole's, because of his Oni heritage; the Responsible One™; somewhat energetic, like Jay; DON'T GIVE HIM COFFEE WHATSOEVER; gets teased by most of the ninja for his short height; has the mentality of a child

Narnia Headcanons: Wood Between The Worlds.

1. The Lady of the Green Kirtle came to Narnia from the Wood Between the Worlds and she considers herself kin to The White Witch because of that. However, she doesn't actually know where she is from and Charn and it's destruction predates her by a few centuries.

2. Giants also came to Narnia from The Wood Between the Worlds. Susan reads the BFG later in life and decides they might have come from Giantland or somewhere like it.

3. There's a mix of creatures that weren't there at Narnia's creation that arrived from The Wood or from Earth.

4. The Wood Between the Worlds is connected to various points around Earth and other places. Usually through caves or deep bodies of water.

5. Bacchus is Just There in Narnia, he just showed up one day. Maybe through the Wood, maybe not.

6. Tash is from Charn and left after the Deplorable Word was spoken, wandering around the wood and wreaking havoc in other worlds. He entered Narnia not long before the Calormen arrival.

7. The Guinea Pigs are functionally immortal and are two of the sentient things living in the Wood Between The Worlds.

8. Father Christmas isn't from Narnia originally and travels through the Wood to get there. Jadis froze Narnia's pool in order to prevent him coming in and he would come around Christmastime every year for 100 years to wait for the pool to melt.

9. The Merfolk in Narnia come from Atlantis through a cave system that goes under the pools of water and opens in different oceans.

10. There are more than Eleven Pools, Jadis had been counting them before becoming ill and only got to Eleven. She's guessing a lot of the Wood's backstory but she's right.

11. The Deplorable Word loses it's power after entering the Wood, which is why it did not destroy Earth when Jadis used it to try to kill Aunt Letty.

12. Marsh Wiggles come from another world as well and they actually somewhat remember their time in the Wood. They come to Narnia a century into it's history and live in Archenland during the White Witch's reign.

Was tagged by @disregardandfelicity Thank you! This is really getting me back into the spirit of reading. I needed this <3

1) The last book I read:

Coma by Alex Garland. I love him as a director, and I just recently found out he's also written some books. It was fun and mind-bendy, sort of reminded me of the stuff I try to write. Also really fast. I think I finished it in one or two hours.

2) A book I recommend:

Moving Forward Sideways Like a Crab by Shani Mootoo. I recently formed a little book club around this book because I just think it's so special. And almost no one has heard of it, which is such a shame! Everything this author writes is just stunning. Heartbreaking, guttural, sometimes disturbing, but always always stunning.

3) A book that I couldn’t put down:

Pillars of Light by Jane Johnson. Became one of my all-time favourites almost immediately, and I plowed right through it. I've been itching to read it again, actually. Oh, John the sad gay foundling, I miss reading from your pov...

4) A book I’ve read twice (or more):

For some reason I've read Room by Emma Donoghue twice. I wouldn't be able to stomach it now, but I guess it did something for me at the time. If anything, it's a fast read once you get used to the five year old's voice.

5) A book on my TBR:

So, soooo many... After the book I'm currently reading, I was hoping to pick up White Noise by Don DeLillo or Foe by Iain Reid.

6) A book I’ve put down:

Cloud Atlas, for now. Just sort of fell out of it by accident.

7) A book on my wish list:

And Then She Fell by Alicia Elliott. I've read her other book, A Mind Spread Out on the Ground, and I genuinely think it's one of those must-reads for any Canadian (or non-Canadian) interested in Indigenous lit.

8) A favorite book from childhood:

I was partial to The Spiderwick Chronicles. In earlier childhood, though, it was The BFG by Roald Dahl.

9) A book you would give to a friend:

The Solitude of Prime Numbers by Paolo Giordano. I know what you're thinking --- kind of a depressing book to give to a friend. And yes, it is depressing and very rough. But it opened something in my heart, idk. I felt comforted by it. I would also give a friend The Bonesetter's Daughter by Amy Tan. Basically, books that have made me cry and hug them after I finished them.

10) A book of poetry or lyrics that you own

Can't remember the titles off the top of my head, but I have some Neruda. My partner is the poetry reader.

11) A nonfiction book you own:

Oh, sooooo many. I used to only read non-fiction for the longest time. But I'll go with the one that makes me look the most pretentious: Gender Trouble by Judith Butler. Found in the special little book sale room at the library I work at.

12) What are you currently reading:

The Kite Runner, for the first time. It's as gorgeous and heartbreaking as promised.

13) What are you planning on reading next?

Essex Dogs by Dan Jones. I bought a copy last year, got a few chapters in, then gave it to my dad for Christmas because we're big Dan Jones fans and I couldn't find another copy anywhere. I waited months for my new copy, so I have to read it now!

note; I know, I know, Chrissy might not be something of sibby material to you but I don't care!!! >:0 Anyway she's a absolute sweetheart and she deserves everything, and I know she's dead but shhhhh!! Anyhow, I love her and she needs more attention in general because she's SOOO underrated that's alllll

headcanons;

Chrissy is a big sister/sibby regressor and her age range is 4 - 8

She is such a helpful person while regressed and in general, and she's always wanting to help all the caregivers with the more tiny ones. And you'll usually see her sittin around a tinier one and she's just being so sweet to them

⬇️ She's also the most well-behaved girl ever, like she could do no wrong behind those big eyes. And she always knows when to get in control of herself and she's just such a happy blorb :)

She loves mystery stuff! Like Scooby Doo is her most favorite thing in the world! She also has a big love for picture books and puzzles, especially puzzles!! Just a big mystery fan. If it was more modern ages, she'd love Bluey, Blues Clues, Busytown Mysteries, Wonder Pets, Charlie and Lola and Daniel Tiger... as well as Scooby Doo too :)

⬇️ Puzzles, puzzles, PUZZLES!!! She has an absolute big love for them! Even with harder, bigger puzzles, she'll try her best! She got her love of them from Nancy, actually. One day, Nancy was just sittin and doing a puzzle and Chrissy was like "ooooh- what that :0" and just kinda stared at it and took a little while to actually start playing with them, and boom! (I actually have an old fic about this very situation if anyone wants to hear about it!!)

She loves tinier regressors than her, like Eddie, Eleven and Lucas are all her favorites!! She loves being a princess in distress with Eddie saving her, coloring and stickers with Eleven, and baking with Lucas!! And so on

She really loves her caregivers too, even her babysitters as well! She loves Nancy, Steve and Joyce the most!

I don't think she really got as much as a good childhood, to be honest. Like her parents are bad people >:( So her regression is just a fresh new way to restart and go back to a happier childhood. And she loves doing all this new stuff she hasn't done before! Like go out to toy stores, go to the playground, and all that fun stuff!!

She loves story/picture books too! Like Matilda, The BFG, Huckleberry Finn, Peter Rabbit, Paddington and more!

CARE BEARS!! As well as Strawberry Shortcake- but Care Bears!! She love, love, LOVES them with all her heart. She'd definitely have a Tenderheart bear, since that was my favorite too, and he fits the vibe with her! (And also, Gentle Heart Lamb :) )

⬇️ Oooh! Almost forgot, most of the group of older teens of the group who are regressors have a Care Bear each! Chrissy has Tenderheart, Robin has Swift Heart, Eddie has Brave Heart >:D

35″ Tensor Desert Series Race Tires + VR Forged D15 Beadlocks (Swoon)

I think we can all agree that when we see a UTV on a trailer with Tensor DSRs, Regulators, BFG Projects, or any large Baja-proven race tires, it gives us that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Something about the stance of a UTV or truck with race tires makes us want to turn up some Metallica and do some off-road thrashing. We got to mount up some 35×15 10 Tensor DSR (Desert Series Race) tires to a set of gorgeous VR Forged D15 (5-lug) forged beadlocks. If you aren’t familiar, these D15 Beadlocks by VR Forged are some serious race-proven forged wheels that not only bada** looking, but save a substantial amount of weight. Each wheel weighs in at about 20.7 lbs, but we’ll call it 9.4 kg because we’re MWW. (Motorsports Weight Weenies)

Getting to take this Polaris RZR Pro R out to the desert to hoon and put this wheel and tire package to the test was amazing to say the least. These tires alone compared to the stock rubbers is a night and day difference. The driver characteristics are so positive and can truly feel the energy and capabilities of the machine. Not in a cheesy-sappy way but the assurance of agility and being able to dive into different directions or carve ruts confidently. As for the wheels, the VR Forged D15s really bring everything home with saving weight from adding the big ol’ tires and knowing when SNAFU happens, you have some forged wheels that will still be able to get you home.

This is a fantastic wheel and tire combo that will ultimate change the way your UTV handles and responds to the abuse you’re going to be putting it through.
