Simon knew Soap since childhood, they were bffs, actually. Soap would always bandage Simon after his father beat him, or feed him when he gets no food. Most importantly, Soap cared for Tommy too- always letting the two abused brothers rant- always finding ways to comfort them and make them smile. Soap could never go to Simon’s house, Simon was afraid Soap would get hit too- but regardless, Soap always offers Simon and Tommy his own house as a second home for them. He never asked for any of this to be repaid. He was a saint in Simon’s eyes.

…So it hurt more than any cut and bruise Simon has gotten from his father when Soap had to move. That night when Soap had to go Simon cried, not because he’ll miss the treatment he gets from Soap, but Soap himself. He thought he’d never see his only best friend ever again. But he was wrong.

Soap and Ghost meet again when they crossed paths once more in the 141. Ghost immediately recognized Soap- he never forgot him. Soap had the same hair, same everything really. Just a bigger size with a even bigger heart. Soap didn’t change much, but Simon changed too much.

Simon was Ghost now. A big scary boy in a skull mask who people think he couldn’t feel. A killing machine who offers no mercy. A man who’s relationship with Soap is back to square one.

Ghost wondered if Soap would remember him, its been fucking years. Wouldn’t be a surprise if Soap forget about him- with such a open personality it wouldn’t be hard to picture Soap with a lot of friends when he moved on from Simon. (Did he..?)

Simon never deserved Soap anyway.

Ghost tells himself that every day. Simon had lived in total darkness until Soap came to be his light, now Ghost has become that darkness to survive after Soap was gone. Ghost didn’t want to engulf Soap in that kind of suffering. He would keep Soap safe. Even if it meant keeping Soap safe from himself.

Walls. Barriers. Distance.

Soap broke down every one of those. Simon, who was buried deep inside of the graveyard in Ghost’s heart was climbing out.

The only thing keeping Ghost from surrendering was Simon was never ready- not ready to be in such a warm embrace once again, only to be addicted to it and lose it again. Not again- it can’t happen again. Ghost dreaded to think what he would do afterwards.

So Simon is tucked away safely and quietly in a corner. Only making brief appearances every now and then.

This is the best way. Ghost thought, This is the only way.

⛪️ | abraham would be incredibly protective over you whenever you have your episodes by him. he doesn’t know a whole lot about chronic illnesses, so it’d scare him; you’d have to explain it to him and sort of walk him through what to do in order for him to be any real help. but once he does know what to do, he’d go a tiny bit overboard with it, nearly to the point of being overbearing. constantly asking about your current state, if you needed water or rest, even disallowing you to go anywhere on your own because he NEEDS to be there in case you need him. he’d be convinced you’d get hurt by someone on your own and appoints himself as your sort of body guard when you do need to leave somewhere. you’d always come to in his arms whenever you faint in his presence.

💪 | valentina absolutely refuses to allow you to work out at the gym. you could hurt yourself real bad if you passed out on or near any of the equipment! she’ll make a special routine comprised mostly of stretching and exercise that doesn’t require equipment so you can still get fit without risking your safety. she’d ensure you make it to every doctor’s appointment on time, take whatever meds you may need, and constantly have food and water at the ready to keep your energy up as much as possible. she’d probably be the best at handling your illness, really — her expertise on fitness and health would tie in very well with her ability to help you and she’d be determined to alleviate your symptoms as best as she could.

🥩 | rhodes would want to keep you locked up all the time. it’d take a lot of willpower for them to not lock you in their room when you faint at their place. they wouldn’t act on their desire to keep you under their watch at all times, but they’d definitely make up lots of reasons to have you stay over so they can be sure you’re safe when you do have an episode. maybe you left your meds at their place, or your aircon mysteriously broke and you need somewhere cool to rest, or maybe they simply asked you to stay with them for a while because they’re worried. they don’t care if they come off as pressuring, your safety comes before anything else.

if satoru's mom liked yn, it was less likely for them to separate. aside from the fact that she won't create problems for them, she'll even try to help them talk about and fix their problems. she'll talk to her son about his bad habits, and how he should change his ways. she'll also advice yn to communicate instead of pulling away and threatening your husband that you'll find someone better😭

satoru explained why he was like that towards naomi and not with yn at first in Catharsis. that's what hurt yn the most, bc she felt like she wasn't worth it to him :'((

For myself lookwise i have light reddish brown thick wavy hair that goes down to my waist, but my roots are black since it was dyed. I have honey brown eyes that are almond shaped and eyebags+light freckles on my cheeks n nose . my skin is fair but with an olive undertone. I'm pretty sure my body type is a figure 8, im 5'2 and on the thinner side but not underweight, i have a good amount of weight on my thighs though.

It's somewhat hard to describe my personality since many people would describe me differently. Id say if im around people i dont know well ill be pretty quiet. Im not very shy it's just complicated to talk to people i dont know. If im obligated to talk people i don't know for something important it wont be a problem. To strangers i might come off as a bit mean just because i have a resting bitch face and i tend to avoid everyone, people will think im depressed or something too but i like to say im very happy at most times. I'm genuinely a whole different person around the people who i trust and people who i just click with, needs to be the right person. Im extremely loyal to people i love and im always happy to be around them or listen to them if they need someone to talk to and ill go out of my way to make them happy. Im also very unpredictable and ill randomly do things in the moment butttt my friends say thats what makes it so fun to hangout with me. im always down for anything if my friends wanna do something ill do it and it's gotten me in trouble a few times but ive gotten amazing memories from it. im also really determined and i try to better myself everyday and i don't just ever give up on things. Another thing about me is that im very overprotective of people i love and i don't let people who hurt them get away with it ever. I have a problem with holding grudges against people i dislike. the way the sparrows were handled? not enough time to really get to know the character, especially marcus who was offed almost immediately. the dynamics and parallels were interesting, but they were gone way too quickly despite their interesting designs and potential. i would've loved more flashbacks with them at least, like the dojo sparring match

i'll fully admit i did not expect them to actually kugelblitz stanley. i really did not.

allison's villain arc goes right here too bc while i feel that she was long overdue for it and its been brewing since s2, and i do like that they showed her trauma more in-depth, but they had her cross a boundary with barely any repercussions. the whole thing with luther was uhhh. uncomfortable. though i do like that at least they showed him to be freaked out and angered by what happened, stress eating and almost fearful the moment he saw her after the incident. being a shitty sister as she said does not cover it, and luther forgave her way too easily. they Could Have Handled It Better

harlan and the mothers storyline that served as the catalyst for the kugelblitz was interesting and worked fine as a setup for an apocalyptic scenario but i can't help but feel like there could've been more? idk what else i want and what i would've done considering the limited runtime of the show honestly, so i might be just complaining

five the founder?? goes against his character and i suppose it might be a setup as to why the total reset was bad in the longrun and that future slash past founder five is somehow aware of this and is probably a survivor of a similar scenario sans arm which our five recovered after the reset but but butttt. i don't get it. it just goes against his established character traits, with his persistent focus on saving his family and his complete and utter wilingness to do anything to save them. i can mostly understand him being exhausted and eventually giving up when it seems like there is really no way out this time but not fully, not to this point. i can't help but feel like he would've been all for going to the hotel oblivion if there was even a slim chance of saving everyone, not voting to stay and die right there. idk. him getting that tattoo just to complete the loop also led nowhere - you could cut it out and it wouldn't have changed a thing bc he still would've saw the symbols and recognized the sigil on the floor of the hotel oblivion. curious but im not a fan.
