I’m just so weak for Punk!Danny/Baby!Dani so here’s my take.

When the girls were younger they were truly a handful and Alcina was used to the noise and chaos. But when going out in different settings, she noticed a pattern: when Daniela and Cassandra are together it turns very chaotic very quickly because Cassandra is an enabler and encourages Daniela to get into all kinds of mischief.

Pairing Daniela and Bela is a more peaceful solution. Bela is naturally calm, unlike Cassandra. She doesn’t egg Daniela on, and the two of them can remain quiet for a long time. Also, when in a new social setting like a big gathering, Daniela does feel a little shy. In those situations, she seeks out Bela and sticks by her side, remaining with her until she is comfortable enough to do things on her own.

Even in their house, Daniela would seek Cassandra to play with for hours to no entd. But when it comes to more quiet activities, like reading, she’d usually find Bela and ask her to read some books for her.

Look I’m not delusional! With the three of them standing next to each other Bela is a little shorter than Cassandra. It looks like Cassandra is the tallest, and it looks like Bela is actually a little taller than Daniela or they’re about the same height.

I think what’s been angering me about this adoption storyline is the fact that adoptees go through so much trauma and people can’t expect to adopt a child and expect perfect behavior. Adoption isn’t talked about enough in general, and when it is it highlights the adoptive parent’s needs for a child rather than the child’s need for stability and love.

So many people go into adoption for the wrong reasons, and don’t ever realize that this isn’t about them it’s about the child

And choosing adoption because you can’t have a baby isn’t a good reason to adopt a child. These children don’t owe anyone anything.

In the show, we never see Dash without gel on his hair, so I took some liberty with his design, giving him more of a curly surfer-vibe kinda hair!

Also, when I was looking for references, I noticed for the first time Dash's eye color. They are periwinkle, almost purple?? So pretty!
