do y'all ever think about the fact that bobby is literally chris' grandpa? like yeah, bobby is a father figure to buck. but buck is also chris' second dad.

that's a dynamic i am reminded of whenever i see eddie and bobby interact outside of the fire station and it's a dynamic that should be explored more overall.

Share your thoughts on Angel's irish accent lolol

😭😭😭 Oh dear. I feel kind of bad for Boreanaz tbh. He was plucked from nothing with no training as an actor and to his extreme credit he was SO GOOD as Angelus. Like to go from one of the weakest actors in the cast to one of the best?? He was absolutely incredible playing an evil character to the point that I wanted him to be evil lol because he was so much fun to watch. And Boreanaz only got better on his own series, which made me go from hating Angel to actually really liking him as a character.

But anyway the accent.... It's bad. I'm not Irish so it's probably not as painful for me as the potentials who have accents that supposedly are more similar to my own, honestly at this point I find Angel's Irish accent so bad that it's funny. It's probably one of the more difficult accents for an American to do, to be fair. And it feels like he tried HARD. :(

Another candidate for worst accent is poor Kendra. I recently saw someone say she likely would have been a better character were it not for the accent (which was forced on the poor actress last minute) and I think that's probably true.

There's one weird page in chapter 3 where the coloring came out so weird, it looks like none of the other pages, and it drives me a little crazy. But, you know, whatever lol done is better than not-done. I have a huge buffer, I *really* should get to posting. I also want to get to posting bc (well, I want to, I like reading update comments more than you can know)...and bc I keep getting asks that have a few things that are quite literally in chapter 3, so I sit here looking at them, going (marge thinking sounds)

No but like, Buck is scared of being the one that's left behind, of being alone and now we are in a situation where Eddie is scared if ending up alone because Buck is the one that leaves him. Buck died, yes, that one is not his fault, but filled a lawsuit without talking to Eddie and it broke Eddie. Even when Eddie left the 118 he made a point of keeping Buck as close as possible, even inviting Buck's girlfriend to his home when it's very clear Eddie doesn't like Taylor. But Buck left Eddie. He came back yes, and Buck is allowed whatever feeling he had and we know feels guilty for it, but it's interesting.
