Yeah, I was getting sort of overwhelmed with how I was going to do my rewrite stuff and realized that I had like 65 drafts cluttering up space. Many of them were original hypokits posts (ones of my personal ships) and so I thought I'd take some requests while I finished those up to have room for rewrite things!

Onto the hypokits! Sorry this AU isn't a happy one, I just can't see Ashfur ever having a healthy relationship...

Warriors Ship Hypokits- BrambleAsh Edition

In this AU, Ashfur falls in love with Brambleheart (this AU's Brambleclaw) instead of Squirrelflight. It starts off great, and the two are happy for quite some time. So what if Ashfur wants to be around Brambleheart literally all the time? Or that he gets angry if Brambleheart even looks at another cat? They're in love, so it's fine right? They both want kits, so Brambleheart decides that kits will definitely fix their relationship. While they do have four healthy kits, their relationship doesn't get any better, instead becoming much worse. Ashfur becomes even more violently overprotective of Brambleheart and jealous of their kits for taking up his attention. Firestar, seeing how his surrogate son is trapped in an abusive relationship, tries to help. Ashfur decides to kill Firestar for meddling in their affairs, taking the place of Hawkfrost in the trap killing plan. Brambleheart is forced to kill his mate to save Firestar, and he begins avoiding his kits out of a sense of guilt and shame. This of course fixes nothing and only makes everything worse. While he does eventually reach out and apologize and try to get to know his children, it’s too little too late for some...

Their four kits are:

Fallowspots- brown molly with darker brown spots and amber eyes. Cis molly, pansexual. She uses any pronouns. Fallowspots is a bold and fun-loving cat who focuses on living in the moment. She rarely talks about her past or how her fathers’ actions affected her, and it seems that she was completely unaffected by the tragic events. However, this is untrue. He uses novelty and thrill-seeking as a form of avoidance. She isn't aware of that due to refusing to think about the past much. They have a lot of friends, but never truly open up to them. She is a Scout.

Rootfoot- dull brown tom with amber eyes. Cis tom, straight. Rootfoot was born a sickly and fussy kit. This drew the ire of his father Ashfur, who thought that he was taking too much of Brambleheart’s attention and began mistreating him. Even if it was only a short time later that Ashfur was killed, Rootfoot never forgave his fathers for their treatment of him and his siblings. He ultimately chose to leave the Clans entirely and live as a wandering loner after becoming a Warrior. At one point, he stumbles across The Sisters and fathers Tree and his siblings, but doesn't really stick around. When he was a Warrior, he was a Scout.

Bloomwolf- large muscular gray molly with yellow eyes. Cis molly, demisexual demiromantic. Bloomwolf is a no-nonsense and hardworking cat who enjoys providing for the Clan and helping her clanmates. She used to be much more playful, but Brambleheart’s closed-off nature after Ashfur’s death caused her to become stern and a workaholic in order to impress him and earn his affection. She was closest to her brother Rootfoot, with her often protecting him from their father Ashfur’s wrath as kits. When Rootfoot left ThunderClan, Bloomwolf was devastated. She became completely closed off and stopped speaking to anyone except her remaining siblings. She is a Brute.

Pantherspring- sleek very dark gray tolly with amber eyes. AMAB Agender, bisexual. It uses it/its pronouns. Pantherspring is a very self-absorbed cat who only seems to care about itself. After Ashfur’s death and Brambleheart’s avoidance of his kits, Pantherspring decided to never rely on other cats again. It hates being forced to interact with other cats and wishes to leave the clan- in public. Secretly, Pantherspring is a very lonely cat who knows that it couldn't stand being completely alone and that leaving the clan would kill it. It begins trying to interact with its siblings more after Rootfoot leaves. It is a Hunter.

I have this disease that makes me really like Rootspring even though he's objectively not a great character and I haven't read the books he's in. This is mostly based on the impression I've formed that he's similar to Seymour Krelborn (Little Shop of Horrors)/generally liking the character type I think they're both in. They both have very strained relationships with their fathers/father figures, are being haunted by an abusive other-worldly being only they can talk to that they desperately want to leave them alone, are extremely socially awkward and isolated and antisocial, and worship the ground their girlfriends (who are way too good for them/more mature and experienced/can easily be read as having a type that differs wildly from them and falling for them in spite of that at least partially due to her bad experiences) walk on. Does this make sense to people who are familiar with TBC and Little Shop

born after hollyleaf's disappearance, they are named by their father to shame their mother - the cause of her childhood friend’s death, and the worst side of fire - then ignored. their grandparents stepped in, but the pair were ostracized by most of the clan. their sister returning was quite possibly the best thing to happen, as holly shamed their father into trying to be a parent...far too late.

I think the very first Warriors video I ever saw was GinjaNinjaOwO's Surprise PMV. Just to start off, I first read SquirrelFlight as SquirrelFight. Needless to say, I was very disappointed when I, in fact, did not see squirrels fighting.

After I got a little more interested in Warriors, I found out about the more famous characters. So when i rewatched the video? I thought the cats were FireStar, TigerStar, and this Random Guy. I know, it was insane to be in that belief, I have no idea how i did it. Especially that with every other BrambleSquirrel video, I thought it was FireTiger (I don't, and I never liked that ship, I was just young and extremely confused).

Then I found out about Random Guy, turns out its AshFur. During my journey on the internet, I came across – you'd never guess it – AshFur x Scourge content. Which made me believe that AshFur was a molly (I have a conservative family, especially as they were as that time). Great. So back to Surprise, we have FireStar, TigerStar, and female AshFur. I still had no idea what's going on.

And then, the unimaginable happened; I finally found out who the real SquirrelFlight is. I sadly can't remember how, I bet that could make a hilarious story, too. And I finally had the whole picture for that video (to avoid confusion, yes, I knew that AshFur is a guy, and I also knew who BrambleClaw is at this point). Here I take this chance to apologise to my girlie Squilf, for taking so much time to understand how insane Warriors lore is. And because this was the video which made me spiral into an AshSquirrel shipper & AshFur apologiser phase that I'll never forget. I'm sorry for the people who came across me during that time. Truly.

I know that this one might be controversial but listen. Firestar x Goosefeather was sent to me by a person on discord and I // fell in love with this crack//

I knew that these kits wouldn't be born the normal way, they came in a la Jesus. Goosefeather's ghost named them Moon and Sun as a way to tell Starclan to fuck off. Firestar was, of course, surprised he had given birth to two kits but decided that this crazy looking ghost shouldn't be angered. Squirrel and Leaf love their baby sublings, they dont care where they came from. Sandstorm just decided not to question it, seeing it as another "FIrestar is just weird" thing.

Now onto the bebes, Moonfreckle is very no nonsense. She doesnt care about excuses. You did something bad, she's going to judge you for it. Her constant poker face makes her very unapprochable.

Sunbeam is a lovable idiot. He loves his family and will fight you if you do something to hurt them, even if they dont see it as such. (He really doesnt like Brambleclaw or Ashfur). He might act like an idiot but hes actually incredibly smart.

The Genetic Journey of Two Sisters: an Analysis of ThunderClan’s Gene Pool

Flashnose and Daisytoe made their debut in Goosefeather’s Curse, and are revealed to be sisters born to unknown parents. Although these sisters fade into the rest of ThunderClan’s old history, their genetics encompass the entirety of ThunderClan, bleeding into two other Clans. Here is an analysis of their profound genetic impact, starting with Flashnose. (Cats who’s names are red have kits)

Flashnose + unknown tom have a single daughter together: Swiftbreeze. Later in life, Swiftbreeze and Adderfang have five children: Leopardfoot, Patchpelt, Redtail, Spottedleaf, and Willowpelt. Leopardfoot and Pinestar have Tigerstar, Mistkit, and Nightkit. Patchpelt and Goldenflower have Swiftpaw & Lynxkit, while with Robinwing, he has Longtail. Willowpelt, with unknown toms, have Darkstripe & Graystripe. With Whitestorm, she has Sorreltail, Rainwhisker, and Sootfur.

→ Tigerstar and Goldenflower have Brambleclaw and Tawnypelt, and with Sasha, Tadpole, Hawkfrost and Mothwing. Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight have Sparkpelt, Alderheart, Dandelionkit, and Juniperkit. Sparkpelt and Larksong have Nightheart, Finchlight, and Flickerkit. Tawnypelt and Rowanclaw have Tigerstar II, Dawnpelt, and Flametail. Tigerstar II and Dovewing have Lightleap, Shadowsight, Pouncestep, Birchpaw, and Rowankit, while Dawnpelt and Crowfrost have Strikestone, Sleekwhisker, and Juniperclaw.

→ Graystripe and Silverstream have Feathertail and Stormfur, and with Millie, he also fathers Briarlight, Blossomfall, and Bumblestripe. Stormfur and Brook have Pine that Clings to Rock, Lark that Sings at Dawn, Feather of Flying Hawk, and Breeze that Rustles the Leaves. Blossomfall and Thornclaw have Stemleaf, Shellfur, Plumstone, and Eaglewing. Stemleaf and Spotfur have Stempaw, Graypaw, and Bristlepaw.

→ Sorreltail and Brackenfur have Cinderheart, Poppyfrost, Honeyfern, Molepaw, Lilyheart, and Seedpaw. Cinderheart and Lionblaze have Fernsong, Sorrelstripe, Hollytuft, Spotfur, Snaptooth, and Flywhisker. Fernsong and Ivypool have Thriftear, Flipclaw, and Bristlefrost. Sorrelstripe and Dewnose have Bayshine and Myrtlebloom. Spotfur, as previously mentioned has Stempaw, Graypaw, and Bristlepaw with Stemleaf. Thriftear and Bayshine have Moonpaw.

→ Poppyfrost and Berrynose have Cherryfall and Molewhisker.

→ Lilyheart and Snowbush have Larksong, Honeyfur, and Leafshade. As previously mentioned, Larksong and Sparkpelt have Nightheart, Finchlight, and Flickerkit.

This wraps up Flashnose’s genetic line, moving us into Daisytoe’s genetic line.

Daisytoe and Rooktail had Moonflower and Goosefeather. Moonflower and Stormtail had Bluestar and Snowfur. Bluestar and Oakheart had Mistystar, Stonefur, and Mosskit. Mistystar and Blackclaw had Reedwhisker, Primrosepaw, Pikepaw, and Perchkit. Snowfur and Thistleclaw had Whitestorm. Whitestorm and Brindleface had Ferncloud, Ashfur, Elderkit, and Tulipkit. With Willowpelt, he also had Sorreltail, Rainwhisker, and Sootfur. Ferncloud and Dustpelt had Spiderleg, Shrewpaw, Birchfall, Larchkit, Hollykit, Foxleap, and Icecloud. Spiderleg and Daisy had Toadstep and Rosepetal. Birchfall and Whitewing had Dovewing and Ivypool, who’s mates & kits were previously mentioned.

Although Daisytoe and Flashnose’s bloodlines began separately, they converge at certain points (i.e. Whitestorm x Willowpelt, Tigerstar II x Dovewing) to form an extensive genetic pool that is responsible for 30/46= 65% of the current ThunderClan population (as of Wind) & 6/30= 20% of the current ShadowClan population. Holy shit.

I’d add Robinwing x Fuzzypelt as an honorable mention, but given the fact that their son (Dustpelt) and their granddaughter (Ferncloud) have kits, their line merges with Daisytoe’s since her great-grandson is Whitestorm, who’s also Ferncloud’s father. Alternatively, we could focus on Frostfur, but since both of her sons took mates from Flashnose’s genetic line, their entire family line is one with Daisytoe & Flashnose’s.

Times like this make me feel very fortunate that certain information was retconned. If the fact that Redtail & Brindleface had Sandstorm remained canon, this would make Squirrelstar, Leafpool, Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Hollyleaf all related to Flashnose. Which raises that ThunderClan percentage from 65% to 76%. This would also make Lionblaze and Cinderheart related.

Seeing how much ThunderClan grew from these pair of sisters is always a “wow” moment for me. Their spirits have likely faded from StarClan’s ranks, but I can’t help but wonder if they ever looked down on their descendants and felt proud of how big their families have grown.

I’ve never seen the exact percentages before that’s absolutely wild. It’s insane how these one off characters that no fan would really remember otherwise, let alone remember they are sisters, have ultimately become the root of most of the current ThunderClan incest problems.

I might have a vague power of three/omen of the stars au brewing in my brain because I am way to far behind in the series to actively try and catch up so here are my basic ideas.

Three is Four from the start because God that plot point was stupid and I hate it and it added needless drama when we all knew it was Firestar because it's always Firestar. The four are Jayfeather, Lionblaze, Hollyleaf and Breezepelt because drama but wait there's more.

Squirrel x Crow who have Holly and Breeze. Ashfur is just a dude not an asshole, he dated Squilf for a week but could see she was unhappy because she was in love with someone else and let's her go. Now Brambleclaw is the asshole because I don't like him.

Hawk x Leaf but it wasn't a serious thing looking back on it, more like a summertime fling that resulted in children being Jay and Lion. Hawkfrost is just a little ambitious, has a good relationship with Mothwing, fully supports his ex and sister being in love and tells awful puns.

Holly and Breeze are raised in Thunderclan, Crowfeather lives there with them and Brackenfur is deputy instead of Brambleclaw because as much as Firestar doesn't want to admit it, Bramble is an asshole and Sandstorm yells at him whenever he is remotely rude to Squirrelflight. Holly is mentored by Ashfur who becomes like a fun uncle and Breeze is mentored by Brightheart because fuck you Firestar you promised her an apprentice.

Holly becomes Hollyfur in honour of her mentor because Ashfur is just a cool dude and her power is being able to sense when cats are lying and occasionally, forcing the truth out of them. Her early arch is learning when to call out lying and when to let it slide.

Breeze becomes Breezeflight after his mother and gets Dovewing's power because it's there, might as well use it.

Lion and Jay are raised in Riverclan because they deserve POV chapters and it's the clans best kept secret that they're Leafpool's kits but after that whole Tigerclan incident they all collectively agree to keep quiet about it and Hawk becomes a den dad in the nursery and even after his kits are grown he stops by to help the queens when he can.

Lion is terrified of his power especially because he has nightmares about being like Tigerstar and begs Mothwing to let him be her apprentice, she agrees. Lion's power is still the same but he figures out he can use it more defensively than offensively, if there's a battle he's there acting as a shield while he heals. He's named Lionflower because pretty name.

Jay is a lot happier, he's not forced into being a medicine cat and it's only really the queens and younger cats who worry over him. He gets to be a warrior and is mentored by Reedwhisker (Pouncepaw is mentored by Blackclaw instead) his power is the same as in the books and he occasionally helps his brother out with starclan symbols and prophecies, he gets to have secret meeting with his brother as well and is named Jaystep.

Certain Starclan cats (the loudest being Goosefeather) tell the more involved spirits to back the fuck up and let them be kits. But no one trusts Bluestar, Yellowfang and Spottedleaf to behave so they all get a Starclan assigned bodyguard/spiritual mentor
