I got a take on the Danny is Damian's older brother au. He's Damian's brother but he's his adopted brother. So hear me out:

Danny is running away post TUE and he encounters some assassins. For whatever reason they get into a fight and he beats them. This ends up getting back to Ra's who is quite curious about who beat up his most prized assassins effortlessly. After some investigation, he extends an invite for Danny to train under him. On Danny's part, he jumps at the chance to disappear off the face of the earth and have a free place to stay.

Danny ends up being an absolute prodigy. This is him close to being Dan so his morals are much shakier. He doesn't leap at the opportunity to kill, but he's most definitely not above it if need be. Combine that with his ghost powers and personal training by Ra's himself and the guy becomes like the golden standard within the league. So much so to the point where Ra's even names him his heir and adopts him. Though Danny insists he is his adopted grandson and not adopted son.

Flashforward to Damian being born and Ra's obviously wants him to be his new heir. Not that Danny has any problem with this. He's very clearly Ra's favorite considering the things he's allowed to get away with. Like letting targets go, having worldly possessions in his room (TV, gaming console, computer, etc), and even befriending his subordinates (Ra's particularly doesn't like that one but knows Danny will never allow it to become a weakness for him). Even if Danny wasn't the heir, he would still maintain a significant level of authority within the league (again not that he cares about having power as long as there's a roof over his head).

The problem is, Damian can't compete with Danny. After all, who could match up to a highly trained half ghost with dubious morals? Let alone a kid. Too bad Ra's doesn't see it that way. He sees Damian as a failure who will never measure up to Danny. That's why he sends the boy off to live with his father. It's under the excuse that he'll be receiving a different sort of training but in reality, the Demon Head no longer wants anything to do with his biological grandson.

Obviously this turns into quite the complex for Damian. Meanwhile Danny absolutely adores Damian. From the moment he was introduced to the baby he was ecstatic. He'd always wanted to be an older brother. He would constantly be barging into Damian's room to hang out and whenever they'd sparred together, he'd try to let him win. Ra's quickly caught onto that one and put a stop to it immediately though. Basically Danny is Damian's League of Assassins version of Dick. An example of what he's supposed to be that he will always compare himself to (and that also has no idea what personal space is).

Danny loved his little brother so much that he even managed to get a mission to Gotham about a year after Damian had been sent there in order to surprise him with a belated birthday present.

The bats are absolutely shocked with an assassin suddenly charges at Damian and before anyone can react, scoops him into a hug. Damian is screeching bloody murder as he attempts to get Danny to let him go. Danny is just hugging him while saying stuff like "I missed you little brother" and "You've grown so much since I last saw you" all while avoiding knives to the chest.

The bats get shocked x2 because wait.... little brother!? Talia had another child!? And one far older than Damian to boot. Damian is quick to clarify that Danny is adopted while still trying to stab him. Imagine the boy's horror and Danny's delight when he gets invited back to the batcave to speak further.

He’d always wanted a puppy. 

That was all he could think about as he laid in bed in his room. 

He’d been forced back into a teenager's body to go through puberty a third time and to think about every bad thing he’d ever done. He didn’t know why Clockwork thought he deserved another chance. 

He also didn’t understand why Vlad was the one who needed to take care of him. Why did Dan need anyone to take care of him? It’s not like he was mentally a teenager, no matter how much he looked like one now. He could take care of himself. It didn’t matter that he forgot that he needed to eat food or drink water again. Or that he should be showering. Or that he wanted to lay in bed all day.

He could take care of himself. 

Vlad kept trying to do things to cheer him up too. He’d take him to an arcade and when that didn’t work he took him to a cheese tasting. Vlad knew the separate halves when they merged but he didn’t understand who Dan had become. He was treating him like he was just the halves of two people merged together. He hadn’t been that for ten years. 

A knock sounded at his door. 

“Dan?” Vlad called. He could hear Vlad shuffle awkwardly outside his door. 

“What do you want?” Dan shouted back, turning over to his other side, facing away from the door. 

“I know you don’t like visitors, but there’s someone here to see you.”

“Tell Danny to go away.” Dan ground out. “I’m not in the mood for him to play therapist. He’s been taking too many pages from Jazz.” 

“That’s not who we have out here.” Vlad said.

Dan’s brow furrowed. Who else could be here to visit him? It couldn’t have been his parents. Or, Danny’s parents. They didn’t remember anything about him or Danny. Could it be Sam or Tucker? They never really came to visit him without Danny. He seemed to always be getting his hopes up though. 

“Who is it?” Dan called back.

“Can we come in?”

Dan paused for a moment. “Sure. I guess.”

He heard the door creak open behind him. Vlad didn’t say anything but he could feel the bed sink under some weight by his feet. 

Then he felt it.

The quick falling walk of four little feet making their way up to his head. Dan turned his head just in time to see a little black and white puppy get all up in his face. It licked all over his face, his nose, his cheeks, even inside his ear. He tried to contain his smile out of spite. He didn’t want Vlad to witness him having any emotions, but a small smile finally crept over his face. 

“Where did you get a puppy from, old man?”

“Oh, I just happened to be passing by a humane society with Danny. He’d never been able to get his own dog but he thought maybe having a little buddy would be helpful for you. Jazz has recently taken to explaining to him the benefits of having an emotional support animal.” 

“Danny picked this puppy out for me?” Dan asked, staring at the small puppy. 

“He had a little help from me.” Vlad said. “But yes. We picked him out for you. What will you name him?” 

“I get to name him?” Dan asked. He’d never had to name something before. 

“Yes. He’s yours.” Vlad smiled at him. 

What name could he give? What name would fit him? He didn’t know. How did he know if he’d pick the right name? 

Dan spent a few moments thinking, waiting for it to come to him. 

“I think I’ll name him shadow.” Dan said. 

Vlad nodded. “A good name.”

Vlad stood up and gestured for Dan to follow him. “Let’s go to the pet store and pick some stuff out for him. He’ll need some toys and a bed.”

Dan scratched Shadow behind the ear and watched as he leaned into his hand. After a moment he sat up and got out of bed, taking Shadow with him. 

“Can we take him with us?” Dan asked as he caught up with Vlad. “Maybe he can pick out his own toys that way.”

“That sounds like a wonderful idea.” Vlad said as he walked with his arms held behind his back. “That way we can get an idea of what he likes at the store instead of buying something he might not like and bringing it home.” 

Dan nodded. He followed Vlad to the living room and Vlad picked up a collar and leash. They got Shadow all suited up and ready to go and then they were out the door. 

The ride to the pet store was quick and when they got there, Dan made a beeline towards the dog toys, Shadow walking close behind him on the floor. 

“How many toys can we get?” Dan called over his shoulder.

“As many as he wants. We’ve got the funds for it.”

Dan rolled his eyes. Yeah, of course they did. He was a millionaire. 

They went through the toy aisles and Dan tried many different toys with Shadow. He found out that Shadow didn’t like the rope tug a war toys but he did like playing tug a war with other toys. He liked chasing after balls but he didn’t seem big on certain chewy toys. Dan found one last crinkly toy that Shadow went crazy for and threw it in Vlad’s arms with the rest of them.

Vlad dropped one and Dan looked up at him.

“I’ll go get a cart.” He shot a thumb over his shoulder.

“I think that’d be a splendid idea.” Vlad said as he juggled the toys, instead settling on setting them on the shelf for the time being. “I’ll take Shadow’s leash until you come back.”

“Okay.” Dan passed Vlad the leash and headed towards the front where the carts were. He turned out of the aisle and ran straight into someone. 

“Watch where you’re going Fen-dweeb.” 

Dan scrunched his face up at the impact. That voice was familiar. He hadn’t heard it in such a long time he was shocked that he remembered the sound. He opened his eyes and looked up. It was Dash Baxter.

“Uh. I’m not Fenton.” Dan frowned at him.

“Oh yeah?” Dash leaned down and mocked him. “And I’m Albert Einstein.”

“No, really. I’m, uh, Danny’s cousin. Yeah. Dan. Dan Masters.”

Dash squinted at him, studying him hard. “Why do you look so much like him? It’s like that bug and cat show.”

“What?” Dan shot him a confused look but Dash just shrugged and walked away. 

“Probably still a dweeb, though.”

Dan’s eyebrows drew down and he could feel his eyes glowing a vivid red. He was about to call an ecto-blast to his fists when a hand landed on his shoulder.

He turned and looked up sharply just to find Vlad staring at him.

“Getting into fights with other teenagers, are we?” He asked disapprovingly.

“No.” Dan said, crossing his arms. “Not yet anyways.”

Shadow yipped at him, standing up on his hind legs with his front paw resting on Dan’s leg.

He smiled. “I’ll go get that cart.”

Together they piled their toys into the cart and went to pick out a bed for Shadow. He seemed to like the biggest bed best. Vlad tried to say maybe a smaller bed would be better because Shadow would not grow up to be a big dog. But Dan wanted to give this little puppy anything he wanted.

They got the big bed. 

After getting some food, they packed everything into the car and headed home.

That night, Dan played with Shadow until he tuckered him out. Shadow crawled on top of Dan on the couch and curled up on his chest. Dan petted him until he too fell asleep.

Unlike Billy, he loves Gift Giving. Especially foods and sweets.

Valentines with him in spectacular. He treats you like a prince/princess/royal.

Is not a big reader. He will read if he has to but he rather not.

Has said "I dont know how to read." Before.

He likes the rain. Like, really likes the rain. He likes how calming it is.

He is one dehydrated bitch.

Because he is dehydrated he has to deal with all the consequences. Dry skin, chapped lips, headache, ache, so on and so on.

Because his lips are so chapped, he also has a major problem of licking them raw.

So Dan started doom touring llp in partnership with his management company and to me this all really feels like a lot of bad communication and hostility between the two them.

Dan didn't fufil his obligations to promote the show at the beginning, there was almost a month gap between the two Soho shows and Dan doing any other promo which seems like a really bad choice given that the tickets sales were worrying. He bitched about how his management were making him do DD and then he didn't upload them nearly as often as he was promising despite it being the best way to drive sales. He's trying to make up for it now I guess but he's still not released stuff he's been promising which would have helped with promotion.

Now that it seems inevitable that they aren't going to make as much as they were hoping his management team is clearly just trying to cut costs and claw back everything they can and Dan isn't in full control because he doesn't own the company and he can't just make demands and get his way. It could be that they have just cut him out of these decisions since he's obviously going to push for things that aren't going to make money.

I'm not doubting that Dan has been treated poorly but I does make sense given that the tatinof and ii companies were owned by himself and Phil that he really isn't used to working in an environment where he has somebody to answer to. I remember there were a few YouTuber reactions to WIQY that pointed out that he was clearly inexperienced with working with a big company and seemed like he expected things he wasn't owed.

I honestly believe that Dan went in knowing that he wasn't going to make much money from this and just expected that his management team were going to go along with what he wanted because that's what he's used to. Remember he said that they didn't make any money on any of the Asia shows they did for II but still went because they wanted to see everyone, well if you're working with a company who is looking to make a profit then that just isn't going to happen.

Dan clearly has issues with control, it feels really strange to me that he went all in with II and then when it came to his personal 'dream' project he pawned off half of the costs and responsibility on someone else and was surprised when things didn't go his way. All this could have been avoided from the start.

I'm not saying that Dan is fully to blame, but I am saying that he got himself into a situation that is less than favourable. If he'd put in more effort at the start I would be more sympathetic to him but it seems too little too late and now he has to face the consequences. Just not a fan of the whole *wow Dan keeps getting screwed over* narative when it does always seem to be similar problems that cause things to go wrong and Dan continues to make those mistakes.

fuck. don’t ask me why but i never went to look wtf was going on with dnp’s companies. he really did open a new one. roughly speaking, Dan holds 75% of the company votes and surplus assets, am I seeing it right? (roughly, because there’s no word about actual shares). i thought he would just work with promoters as Dan Howell Limited.

hostility? why would his management agree to open a new company if they weren’t planning to make an effort to make it work? same goes for Dan.

you’re starting with saying that Dan didn’t fulfil obligations at the beginning. but how do we know that? how do we know that there WAS, in fact, a marketing strategy proposed by his management or promoter that he agreed to but dismissed along the way? the Soho shows were too “closed off” for general audience (remember it was sold out before Dan even posted about it. nice start, but whose fault is that). i don’t really have a strong opinion on the videos of the show he uploaded to his 2nd channel but i don’t think they helped a lot. maybe it should have been less but longer cuts, idk.

“then he didn't upload them [dd] nearly as often as he was promising despite it being the best way to drive sales” - i have to disagree with that. he should have started uploading earlier, that’s obvious. but the pacing is actually borderline too fast. too many videos in a short period of time after 4 years of silence. i feel fed up, for example. i need something to dilute this stream of monotonous content (using big words here, ugh). after dd announcement he made clear that it’s not daily and we shouldn’t expect him to follow any pace. fair, whatever. (where did he bitch about his management forcing him to do dd? i genuinely don’t remember and don’t feel like rewatching all videos to find it. can you, please, give a hint? i really wanna hear it iurgewfsdfdies) big agree that by not uploading the memes video and for some reason cancelling or postponing their collab with Louise he damages himself. now the memes video needs an extra editing because of Iceland (if he won’t get rid of the promo scene at all at this point).

“It could be that they have just cut him out of these decisions since he's obviously going to push for things that aren't going to make money.” - if that’s true then what does 75% mean? usually management works FOR an individual, not vice versa. if he doesn’t have any shares of this LLP then why does he have so many rights in voting? they can’t cut him. he is co-founder and i bet his own money is on the table (maybe not the biggest % but still). i agree that there could be misunderstanding, miscommunication, lots of panic when they saw the 1st numbers, and stubbornness. considering all, the UK leg went well. they failed with the US/Canada big time. they tried to give it an extra boost with that map reel and a clip in a dystopia daily episode but, let’s be honest it wasn’t the best format for such a big chunk of shows. Ep. 16 and 17

This one's a two parter. I didn't talk about the portrayal of the countries visited because I don't have much of an opinion on them. I'm not from from those places. I am middle eastern tho so I wanted to talk about some stuff here.

So, Fun fact! Döner and Kebab are two different foods. It's just that joints that sell one usually sell the other. The food is named Döner (Dön meaning spin, -er being the present simple tense or same suffix in English. Meaning It spins OR spinner.) When it spread to Europe and rest of the middle east it got the name "Doner Kebab". I just thought that was cool.

Bargaining bit is pretty funny. Joseph's advice isn't half bad. I've never seen people bargain or overcharge for street food but It's pretty much expected in bazaars. You gotta learn how to do it if you are a tourist because it's expected also you WILL get scammed at some point.

OKAY, now onto the actual episode. The lovers card is not only for romantic/sexual relationships. It encapsulates all relationships and connections. Dan's stand "connects" his target to himself. I thought the lovers would be two people with matching stands or something. This is a fun take on the card though, omitting the romantic/sexual context altogether.

Wow Jotaro is mad. I don't think we have seen him being this brash before. I think it's funny how Polnareff mutters "He just might" when Kakyoin is says "Are you trying to kill your grandfather?!". He never would, but it's funny that Polnareff thinks he would consider it. (The music for this scene slaps btw. if you even care)

This is a nice bit of characterization of Jotaro. He does most of the things Dan says, while also trying to explode him with his mind. The whole time you're watching you're like "Dan's ass will be absolutely destroyed next episode lol"

Stands being able to shrink like that makes sense, Green Hierophant could do it. Not to this extent but still. Having a battle in Joseph's brain is a fun idea either way.

I think Jotaro writing Dan's bs in his notebook was to help him calm his nerves a bit.

I can't believe the jewelers started beating in him up with a bad, telling him to go back to his country and shit. Made worse by the fact that Jotaro is like, 17. I know he doesn't look like it but the characters seem to be aware of it. They call him "that asian kid".

So the first half is really boring. I'd make fun of Jotaro for wearing a black coat in a desert but it's better than not wearing it at all.

I actually thought something bad happened to Kakyoin but no he is fine.

At the end of the episode Joseph was like "Is that it? The end of the episode?" Jotaro just answers "Yeah shut the fuck up old man"

I did guess there was gonna be a Kakyoin episode my last post. Well, we get two. I'm not complaining, he is shaping up to be my favourite.

Kakyoin's first instinct when he sees the dog is to pet it, which is the correct response btw. The dog dies in 2 minutes because Araki has something against dogs.

Our stand for today is Death 13! It's a better name than just Death tbh, Death is something you'd call the main villain's stand. It's really strong, like, TOO strong. The crew basically stumbles into victory this time. If the other stands are as strong as this one, they might be in trouble. Making the stand user of death, new beginnings and change a baby was a smart move.

I love that Polnareff sees Kakyoin wake up screaming, hears him say he had a horrible dream and the first.thimg he does is tell him to spill the tea.

I initially thought the Polnareff in the dreamworld was fake. There is no way he is that stupid. Turns out he is that stupid, actually.

This episode doesn't fall to the same pitfall of being infuriating like other's similar to it. You can see why the crew doesn't trust him. If I saw my friend with letters cut into his arm saying a BABY was a stand user my first thought wouldn't be "Oh, I see. We should kill thr baby then."

It is undeniably funny that the people who thought someone having dusty windows in the middle of the desert made them a stand user didn't think anything of Kakyoin's sudden change. I can't balme them tho. A baby stand user feels like a stretch at best.

Polnareff thinking about apologizing to Kakyoin while he is about to die is strangely wholesome. Their friendship is my favourite part of the show, personally.

Kakyoin is the only one to remember the whole thing. He is so energized by the rush of victory that he makes everyone breakfast. Also makes the baby eat his own shit. He was so wild for this

Absolutely! This all began in 2011 when Dan DiDio became a publisher at DC and rebooted everything for the New 52. He planned on doing a reset like that every 10 years. In 2021, rumor was DC was about to do it again with something called "5G," but Dan walked away from DC before it was finalized. DC has been purging what remains of it like a pathogen. You can see the vestiges of what that could have looked like with the Future State books. It was change for the sake of change, and a lot of it was awful, darkest timeline stuff. Damian, for example, was going to be something like Magneto to Jon's Professor X, and Bruce would have allowed Joker to kill Bane when he would have offered at the end of Joker War. So, what I see in Robins 2021 is Tim Seeley taking the book that the fans pushed through the first Round Robin competition and unequivocally rejecting the notion that Bruce did anything but improve their lives.

Couldn't tell you what that "first Robin" thing was about, though. She was a real half-baked idea.

Jealousy and the Tide (Sashea) - Mock-Star

just some gratuitous smut based on pictures Shea posted in 2019 and I'm just now finishing because 💫procrastination💫 and 💫lack of motivation💫

Shea and her boyfriend ask Sasha to have a threesome while on vacation together, not knowing she has feelings for Shea and feels guilty about it, but they put her at ease either way. I haven't had a lot of time or energy to write because of life stuff but y'all will still hear from me sporadically.

Note: in this fic, Sasha and Shea simply *are* their drag personas (think of it like an AU where drag race is like any other reality competition show in a world with more sensible views on gender identity), so she/her pronouns are used for both throughout even though the smut is written with AMAB bodies, but you can imagine them however you like.

Note the Second: The boyfriend in this fic is simply a nameless, faceless, person who will be referred to only by he/him/his pronouns/Shea's boyfriend and who is not intended to be Dan, Shea's irl boyfriend. Feel free to imagine him as anyone you want (even yourself, I don't judge)

Shea was posing by the water of the beach, having her boyfriend take pictures of her. From the cabana a few yards away, it looked like she was going for "thirst trap". Not that Sasha minded, but she did. She wasn't upset at the pictures, oh no. Shea had every right to post her body as she wanted to. It was that Sasha wanted to be the one taking the pictures, to be the one Shea looked at like *that*.

Before Shea had started dating her boyfriend, she and Sasha had fucked a handful of times, the attraction was there and it was convenient. If only it wasn't some of the best sex Sasha had had in a long time. Shea was generous and doting, and Sasha would always be left gasping for air as Shea nuzzled kisses and whispered sweet nothings into her neck, and when she had to get up in the morning or immediately after, her body would protest, because leaving felt unnatural and wrong.

But when Shea excitedly texted her one night with the news that she had a boyfriend, she felt her heart shatter. He was attractive and charming, and treated Shea so well, and she was thrilled for her, but her heart still ached. It took a lot for her to actually fall for someone, and having to let go hurt, especially when they had a: never been official to begin with, and B: they were still friends. She knew her feelings were somewhat valid, but she couldn't help feeling like a child throwing a temper tantrum.

It hurt even worse when she saw them cuddling when she got out of the shower last night. The hotel had overbooked and not given their group enough rooms, but instead given them a room with 2 beds, and with the hotel being full and the two of them eagerly volunteering to share, Sasha had no other option but to try to sleep in one bed while she heard them whispering and kissing in the other. It was the first time she had interacted with Shea in person since she started dating him and thus the first time interacting with them as a couple, and she definitely felt like a third wheel. Despite their efforts to include her, they would naturally turn back towards each other and away from Sasha, still in the honeymoon phase.

She rested her head on the chair and pulled her sun hat over her face, laying her arms at her sides, pretending to sunbathe, and allowed a few tears to silently slip out. She could hear laughter getting louder, and she assumed Shea and her boyfriend were getting closer, and she half hoped they would think she was asleep and not try to talk to her, and she thought it was working until she felt a kiss on her shoulder blade, and a voice whispered to her.

"Hey Sash!"

Sasha pushed up her hat to see Shea kneeling down beside her, and she hoped that her tears weren't visible as she smiled at her.

"So me and boo are going to head back up to the room…"

Sasha internally groaned, here was the part where Shea would ask her to Please stay out of the room for a few hours. The room would surely smell of sex when she went in next.

Sasha almost choked on the air in her lungs, and she pushed herself up onto her forearms and stared at Shea. Shea's hand rested on the small of her back, if that didn't make her intentions crystal clear, the look in her eyes did. Beside her, her boyfriend knelt down as well, and his hand tenderly rubbed the back of her legs. The tenderness was unmistakable, and the desire was thick. Two sets of eyes were undressing her, and three minds were already back in the room.

She nodded, and their hands fell away as she sat up and gathered her stuff, shoving her things into her bag and pulling her shirt on. When she rose, they went on either side of her, and they walked side by side back into the hotel. Shea reached out and grabbed her hand, kissing it before letting go. She felt her cheeks go red, and Sasha realized Shea could probably see how nervous she was and was trying to soothe her, and she forced a smile at her.

She half expected something to happen in the elevator, but nothing happened until the door shut on their hotel room, and Shea shoved her against a wall and attacked her neck with kisses, and she froze before easing into the affection, stretching her neck to offer up more skin to be kissed. This felt familiar and good, and she reached up to cover her mouth to muffle a moan, but Shea intercepted it, sensing her movement and pinning her wrists to the wall.

"It's okay baby, let us hear you." She cooed. "You're so melodic in bed, and almost everyone else is going to be on the beach, so we're the only ones who will hear. Let it all out for us." Shea whispered, guiding Sasha's hands around her waist.

Shea knew exactly what she was doing. The compliments that came out of Shea's mouth in bed always made Sasha melt, and she felt her knees buckle slightly as a few more silent tears fell and the moan escaped, Shea scraping her neck with her teeth lightly in approval.

She felt her bag being pulled away from her, and she let it go. Shea's boyfriend set it down on the desk and crossed back over to them, reaching over Shea's head to wipe away a tear, quickly holding his thumb up and down to check on her, then checking to see her thumbs up. He pressed a kiss against the back of Shea's neck, and she pulled away from Sasha to lean to him.

"Let's go to the bathroom to get ready." He whispered, and Shea nodded and stepped away, loosely grabbing Sasha's arm to guide her into the bathroom. She released her a few steps in and went to turn the shower on, and her boyfriend took the opportunity to step in and kiss Sasha's forehead

"May I take your clothes off for you?" He asked, pulling away slightly, and Sasha nodded. She raised her arms up when his hands pulled her shirt over her head, and stepped out of her swim shorts when he knelt down and pulled them off her. She shivered, both at the cold air hitting her damp skin and because of nerves. He stood up and kissed her again, his hands rubbing her back before trailing down to her ass cheeks, squeezing them soothingly as Shea called them over to the shower. He pulled away again and led Sasha over by her hand, squeezing it affectionately. She stepped into the high bathtub as Shea grabbed her elbow and guided her over to her. She reached out for Sasha's face and kissed her, and Sasha felt her body leap for joy at a touch she thought she would never have again as the water doused her skin.

"You know you can tap out and rejoin at any time, right? You can just watch us if you want to." Shea asked against her lips, stroking the side of her face.

"Ok." She whispered. Her eyes fluttered closed again as Shea found her way back to her neck, being gentler than she had been a few moments ago. The three of them stayed in the shower for what seemed like an unbearably long time, kisses and caresses barely tithing her over.

She briefly closed her eyes and let the water hit her in the face as the two of them shifted around. He moved behind her, and she squeezed his arm as he tilted her head up to kiss her again as Shea gently nipped at her neck. He grabbed her hips and gently guided her to face him so he could cup her face to kiss her. Shea hugged her from behind and nuzzled her neck, and Sasha closed her eyes as she squeezed Shea's arms. She felt hands squeeze her thighs, and her eyes shot open to see Shea's boyfriend kneeling in front of her, the water spraying on his back. His eyes asked for consent, and she nodded. He smiled, and he started kissing her hips, slowly teasing her and warming her up, and she threw her head back onto Shea's shoulder.

"When's the last time someone ate you out baby?" Shea whispered, and she fought to get her thoughts together as teeth scraped at her skin.

"Umm, I think it's been, maybe 9 months?"

"So basically the last time we hooked up in LA."

"Yeah, I think so."

"I'm going to have to have some words with Alexis then." She said, and Sasha almost choked on her saliva.

"You know about that?!"

"Yep, she messaged me asking for tips, and I told her exactly what you liked." She whispered, and Shea's boyfriend took that as a que to deep throat her, and she gasped. One of her hands traveled to his hair, but he pushed it away. Shea smirked at her reaction, and she leaned in closer and whispered in her ear.

“Do you like that? He’s super talented with that tongue of his. If I wasn’t so desperate to be inside of you, he could really show you what he can do.”

Sasha could feel her heart drop to the pit of her stomach, then rise back up in anticipation. She groaned involuntarily, and Shea laughed and kissed her cheek.

"Bed. Now." Shea ordered, her voice going from soft to commanding. Her boyfriend pulled off Sasha and nodded. He shut the water off and stood up, took Sasha by the hand and led her out. He handed her a towel while he dried himself off, and Shea came up behind her and took another towel off the rack. She had barely finished drying off when Shea took her towel from her and hung it up for her. Her boyfriend took her hand and led her to the bedside, pausing to kiss her again. When he pulled away, Shea took over, pulling Sasha over to her and kissing her forehead.

“Get on the bed for me, love.” She cooed, and Sasha took a deep breath before obeying, scooting to the middle of the bed as Shea crawled after her, kneeling over her and cupping her face to kiss her once again, more passionately than she had all day. She reached up to cup Shea's face back and ended up pulling them both down accidentally. They both laughed as He crawled up beside them

What followed was, for a lack of a better word, incredible. Sure it was equally awkward at points, but Shea and her boyfriend were so patient yet eager, and so, so

Sasha blinked as she tried to ground herself. Someone nuzzled her, and she reached up and caressed an arm.

“You look so sexy baby, and we love you so much." A kiss was pressed into her cheek and someone snuggled into her side and held her, cooing sweet nothings at her as Sasha reached out, instinctively placing her hand on the back of Shea's neck, smiling hazily at her.

"Are you hungry? We're going to treat you to dinner tonight." Shea told her, rubbing her stomach soothingly, already in aftercare mode. She poked Sasha's side lightly, and she turned away from it, chuckling slightly.

"You just let us love on you, ok baby?"

As if on cue, Shea's boyfriend, already draped in a robe, brought over cups of water, and Sasha felt a hand on her lower back as she sat up to accept it, taking small sips as he sat down across to her and kissed her cheek before leaning next to her to kiss Shea. Although this was unfamiliar, Sasha felt so comfortable. She wished she could save this moment and come back to it whenever she needed to feel this again. But her peace was spoiled by the twinge of guilt that never quite went away, and she instinctively reached out for Shea, resting her head on her shoulder and a hand on her chest. Shea kissed her forehead as he reached out and rubbed her knee. Shea smiled lazily, resting her head on top of Sasha's.

"God, why didn't we do this sooner?" she asked, putting her water down and reaching out towards her boyfriend, who took her hand in his.

"Because we've never been all together before" He said, grabbing Sasha's other hand and lightly shaking all of their hands up and down.

"True" She replied, then looked towards Sasha. "You down for another round sometime soon?"

Sasha's eyes widened, and she felt her heart race as she looked at both of them. Both of them were smiling, and she breathlessly nodded, breaking into a smile herself.

"Not right now though."

"Oh definitely not, maybe tomorrow." Shea affirmed, rubbing her back as He nodded in agreement. "But you're stuck with us now. Next time I'm in New York I'll be sliding in to those dms." She ribbed, laughing as she talked. Sasha's confusion must have shown on her face because he leaned over and whispered.

"We're in an somewhat open relationship. We both have to approve of who we sleep with and you're top of the list, of course."

Sasha blushed, she felt both relieved and guilty for being relieved. Maybe one day she'd tell Shea about her jealousy, as a not-funny-then-hilarious-now story. But now, all she wanted was to just be in this moment.

I’m not saying I watch HPI for a thrilling mystery-of-the-week, but c’mon, the audience has standards 😆 If I may try to Fix That Plot:

In 2005, Romain borrows 50 grand from Mafioso and enlists Serge’s help to make bank (btw: le gars veut une vie simple mais trempe avec la pègre pour s’acheter une baraque à La Rochelle ? Since when does organized crime, like, save the turtles and stuff? Elles sont où tes valeurs Romain ???). Dirty Cop figures it out, robs Romain and leaves him for dead. Serge, qui sent que ça se gâte, takes Romain to le vil Facchin who saves his life and helps with the whole fake-body thing. Romain leaves for the UK, etc. Facchin decides to blackmail Dirty Cop for his troubles, ex. "Give me half the money or I tell everyone you killed that guy" (he could claim there was DNA under fake-Romain's fingernails and ask for his share in exchange for his silence). To clear his conscience, Facchin sends some money to Romain every month. 15 years later (did you notice how they insisted on that, rather than dates, so they wouldn’t have to age Théa up 😂), Facchin fait l’objet d’une enquête, puis Dirty Cop est interrogé à son tour (maybe he was seen near the casino around Romain's assumed time of death?). Uh-oh, ça sent le roussi pour les ripoux ! Dirty Cop threatens Facchin to take him down with him if he doesn't kill Roxane ("she dragged your name in the mud anyway, so it’ll be two birds with one stone"). Facchin shoots Roxane (and maybe he misses intentionally), Dirty Cop stages Facchin’s suicide (suffisamment mal pour que Morgane flaire l’embrouille). When Morgane investigates Mafioso, he figures out Dirty Cop has something to do with Romain and the money, and abducts him. Ta-da! Now all that's left is to save Dirty Cop and follow Facchin's money to the UK. Note: Romain never called because he was afraid of repercussions he’s a dick, and Serge never said a word about it because he was afraid of repercussions he’s a dick too. (Not to 🎶 generalize about men 🎵, but most of them were sucky in this episode. Ils n'ont qu’à en mettre moins dans l’intrigue 😆)

I archive binged on El Goonish Shive again during the hiatus!

The first time I read EGS, I stopped reading around the school-uniform arc in 2007, so everything after that point has a vague feeling of being "new"/"recent", including i.e. Ashley, even though she's been around for almost half the comic's run.

I got most of the details here wrong -- it was Grace who laughed at Beta-Ellen and Beta-Tedd, not Elliot, and Elliot's nausea was at least 50% about the suggestion that he was pregnant with Ellen via Tedd.

There were many parts, especially towards the beginning, where I was like "Wait, that was foreshadowed that early!?"

I feel like the Ellen-and-Nanase-as-Scooby-detectives subplot was just kind of ... really weak? It was almost entirely telling with no showing, all but a complete background detail despite being most of what they were doing, and it serves mostly as an excuse for them to go to the College Student Party.

I'm never ever ever going to stop giggle-rolling-my-eyes at the fact that there have now been two occasions in which the plot had Elliot break up with his girlfriend specifically so that he could then end up with another girl. (No comment about how "perfect" Ashley is, sigh ...)

Post Painted-Black, Dan got really bad about not wanting to write bad stuff happening to the characters, goddamn. EGS couldn't even commit to the whole "they're both hungry, but each of them thinks the other isn't, so they don't get food yet" bit! I'm not the least bit concerned about how the Rhoda-and-Catalina plot is going to end up, it'll get Resolved And Everything's More-Or-Less Fine Forever in the space of like three or four conversations tops, just like every other potential Interpersonal Problem that's happened.

Dan's other problem is keeping things concise. It takes so long for everything to happen. It took six years for four weeks to go by. I don't even know how to solve that, either, short of having entire pesterlog-sized walls of text ...

All the references to That Wizard School Book Series. In retrospect, awkwarrrrrrrrd, and not in the fun kind of way EGS is supposed to be awkward!

(All the Telliot moments are, like ... do they even register at this point? There've been multiple commentaries to the effect that Dan likes having the shipping bait there.)

For the intake the four rims and make two motorcycle rims out of aluminum mostly aluminum rims for from a car and the other tires are like four and a half inches wide you need like 5/8 in high strange steel it's a little thicker but you can figure out real quick it's very solid you need that because of the trip centripetal force is very high he might even need to put some stiffness in the rear we don't think so loud it's pretty thick rod and the frame that you sent out for the HK will be about the same weight as the early one it has less parts on it the welds are going to be much stronger it's all mig and it takes a lot less time the steel is much stronger but it's a bit lighter the walls of his tube were like 1/8 of an inch so really the only like 3/16 of an inch thicker when you shrink it down so it's a little less weight than the original we waited it's 10 lb lighter the weighs about 45 lb people love it already it's solid as hell. You might want to add a triangular stiffener at the bottom of the center Post and you can easily attach things to it other than that it's rock solid

You have five 5 manufacturers making it and that's the frame and the rod cost a lot less to make than the tube.

So wondering what the max were thinking but they didn't say they're going to use the rod trying to take the bikes, then again the molar could be using the rod and the staff so let's see how this goes and Bob Jr was trying to say it the people say it's not a rod and it never happened this is a rod

About 50,000 larger shops welding and we mean larger out west in the south and typical globally there trying to get transportation they said this rod is everywhere and you can build almost the whole bike from scratch you can build the hubs the brakes practically everything the rest of it you can buy for now and we can make that kind of stuff there's a very simple rudimentary frame and it's what they needed you need something to throw it on and adding suspension is not hard but we can show how to do that in a little bit once we get going has to get it going so he doesn't get hurt and yeah these are kind of choppers just increase the sleep so we have a lot of calls what kind of tank can you use it's 1 in and most pipe on the top on motorcycles is 1 in almost every tank that you see on Earth will work there's tons of room can you use a Harley tank yeah you can use a Honda Yamaha it's a motorcycle and we have a few other questions you need to put oil in the carburetor and no you never put oil in a carburetor. If it backfires what do we do go back to the drawing board going to start with the car a four-cylinder from any car on Earth with a transmission should fit in this hole and you can measure it and you don't want to do the stretch. And you want to measure it and find out where to put the horizontals on the bottom and you want to measure it to make sure that the center Post doesn't interfere and you want to get the four tires going with the hub inside and it should be able to use a car on and yeah it has to be accurate and precise or it won't work assembly you have to balance the tire assembly and to do that you put it on a tire balance machine a lot of people can spin it and then they adjust it with the welding material and then it's done and really you can have a robot do it or an Asia they have people they already started doing it and it works and it's insanity and they're everywhere
