Prompt 232
Once more thinkin of These Series of AU/Prompts, where the Class pulls a Tiamat. Becomes Giant Hydra Dragon.
But with some inspiration from @radiance1's Blob King AUs. Specifically also the dragon ones.
Now, the nine of them are admittedly far older than they once were. Far older than most of the people outside the cage they were tricked into all those years before, exhaustion seeping into their bones as their ectoplasm was siphoned away.
Yet no matter how much the GIW drains away- if they're even called as such anymore- they never run out. If anything, at least from what they've noticed, unable to do much of anything else in this pit, this tank of green and red, they seem to be making more.
Their recollection of being separate, of having separate bodies have long since slipped away in exchange for keeping memories of their families and friends long gone now. Perhaps they're in the zone, as ghosts, but perhaps not.
Days feel like both seconds and years, words falling away as their Core hums as one. Sometimes a Blob ghost manages to find its way inside- the trap designed not to stop things from getting in, but to prevent them from leaving.
They always disappear whenever the ecto is taken away, not having enough to continue holding on to a physical form. But... the blobs don't stay gone. Their own ecto brings them back, tiny forms almost mimicking their own.
It's something to distract them, something to actually do besides growl at the figures beyond the barriers around them. The blobs don't speak, don't make more than squeaks, but it's something. Almost like dozens of toddlers floating around, becoming more and more draconic in shape with every siphon.
Do their captors realize, they wonder, how they've made them all stronger than they were even before? Do they realize what they've done, creating this loop of ever-growing power?
No, Star giggled, pink and gold scales shimmering as she bobbed her head in amusement, Paulina's darker purples following.
They don't know, Wes agreed, dark amusement echoed by both Sam and Dash, fangs flashing amidst the liquid. The trap would not be able to contain them for much longer, they all knew. They could feel it, how the siphon stuttered with every run.
It wouldn't be long now. They had waited three hundred years for the chance to escape- they could wait for a few days more.
...
Though they won't complain about an early prison break if those alarms are anything to go by.

I do enjoy some of the choices super's anime makes, but I think the best one was deciding Bulma wears her towel like this
and apparently turns the light off well before she leaves a room. There's a window at the top of that door and there's no light on at all this whole scene
Broke: It's a production error and/or intentional reveal gag
Woke: Bulma's a cozy little ghibli gremlin and dries off in the dark
..but only in anime anatomy will they draw her like this and follow it up with a line about her having saggy boobs

"It's normal for siblings to fight" Okay well it's not normal to be extremely classist and look down on your sister for being non-conforming. Or to go to the woman who ordered the death of your pet to tell her about your father's plans, when he specifically warned you against doing so, because you want to marry the boy you saw attack your sister and her friend (contributing partially to said father's death and your sister being unable to escape on the ship he chartered). Or to think of your sibling as unsatisfactory in comparison to another when you believe her to be dead. I notice that none of the "Sansa and Arya are going to reunite and instantly have no issues" crowd ever acknowledge any of this, which makes it seem like they don't actually believe what they say about their relationship being normal and easily reconciled. People wanting them to have no issues simply because they're siblings is another example of how fandom likes to flatten complex characters and relationships. They get reduced to being bickering siblings when their conflict runs deeper than that. If the author is telling you that they have "deep issues" to work out [X], I don't understand being so adamant about ignoring said issues. I also get the sense it's about ignoring the capacity for a certain character to be flawed, but that isn't going to change the fact that her "slip of the tongue" is very likely to be revealed and a source of further conflict 🤷🏾♀️

hope everyone had alright holidays!
a few days ago when we were driving home in the dark in windy and rainy weather after getting two of my siblings from the train we, for the first time in my lifetime im pretty sure, hit a deer that was crossing the street, none of us saw them before they got caught in the headlights and the first one made it over but we werent yet slow enough to not hit the second one ...
the deer lived but was kinda stunned, my dad pushed it off the street and while we were still on the phone with police it got up and ran away but my parents car got damaged and while its still drivable there are several parts that got bent and since its an older model too it might be hard to get it repaired
anyway, i didnt know deer fur was that grey until i saw it stuck to our bumper :(
merry crisis

Jongwoo and Room 313's beef truly unparalleled. Jongwoo's neighbour feeds him weird meat but he hates the guy who watches porn more. Jongwoo's neighbour pushes him to murder but he hates the guy who burps more. Jongwoo's neighbour stalks him but he hates the guy who says 'I'll kill you' occasionally and then doesn't kill him more. To be honest if I was Moonjo I'd be so offended, even Jongwoo's first mirror hallucination is Room 313 telling him to kill his coworker, like all Room 313 had to do was stand in the corridor and say 'I'll kill you' and watch porn at weird hours and that made Jongwoo want to kill him so much he tried to attack him first rather than Moonjo

"Any assessment of the emotional component of the reconciliation of [Empress Matilda and Geoffrey of Anjou] remains speculation: the chroniclers are silent on the issue of whether [they] grew to love, hate, or like each other. We do know, from their movements and actions, that Matilda and Geoffrey eventually arrived at a businesslike arrangement with a united viewpoint toward the dynastic, geopolitical goals that had dictated their marriage in the first place."
"Matilda and Geoffrey effectively transitioned from a Divide and Rule model to a Collaborative Union from 1144 onwards, in which they worked together throughout their marriage to ensure rulership over their territories and gained their rightful lands, as well as ensuring the inheritance for their children. Matilda and Geoffrey’s political partnership can effectively be argued as the most successful through applying different models of rulership. Ultimately the Plantagenets regained Matilda’s inheritance through Henry, conquered Normandy, and produced several male heirs."

Do we think one of Charley's kids is named after Frank bc to me. There's a little Kringas with the middle name Franklin. and every time Charley sees it it makes him sad because how to explain to his son that he's named after somebody Charley loves so much, Uncle Frank who used to be here all the time and used to be so silly and make him laugh when he was little, and now Uncle Frank doesn't visit anymore and now Charley gets sad every time Uncle Frank comes up in conversation and now when little Daniel Franklin Kringas asks if Uncle Frank can come to his birthday party or his baseball game or how come it's been so long since Uncle Frank came for supper, Charley has to take a deep breath like he doesn't know what to say. and when Evelyn and Charley are telling their kids the stories of their names it's so easy to say Hannah is from Grandma Kringas and Alexander from Mama's brother Uncle Alex, and Josephina Mary, well, Aunt Mary still visits sometimes. But Uncle Frank? How do they talk about Uncle Frank? He's still their uncle, but they don't see him. Where did he go? Why did he go?

Primrose: It just feels like something happened that wasn't supposed to, you know? Something in him died that night, Fress. *voice wavers* I don't know how to bring him back.
Fresca: ... I once felt the same thing about you, Rose. It took time but you came back to us. Maybe all we can do right now is wait for him to ask for help.

reading tags on that cat post bc im procrastinating but im going insane seeing multiple ppl say they've been turned AWAY from adoption for saying the cats would be indoor only??? when we adopted ours it was part of the adoption agreement that you WOULD keep them indoor only. meaning if they find out you're letting them out they're legally allowed to take them from you, same as they would if you declawed them and that sort of thing. and our house was thoroughly inspected for possible escape routes and dangerous hiding spots, like we had to cover the hole into the wall in the kitchen cabinet that's under the sink, and buy bug screens for the windows, etc.
